Authors Notes: so I have been asked to update this story and as I enjoy writing this story I thought I would I appreciate everybodys reviews and sorry im not updating regularly.
Ricky's pov
I was sat on the porch sat staring out at the water drinking coffee waiting for brax to wake up. When all of the braxton's came walking up the beach towards our house. Bianca was the first one to reach the house holding hands with heath.
B: hey
R: morning what are you all doing here
B: we thought we would come visit you and that huband of yours
H: where is he
R: in bed he hasn't got up yet
H: well im going to go wake him
R: rather you than me
That left me phoebe and Bianca sat on the porch
R: how are you this morning phoebe
P: im good u haven't been sick this morning which is good
R: yeh that is good when are you going to the doctors
P: Wednesday
R: do you know how far along you are
P: not really
That's when I heard brax shouting at his brothers and two arms wrap around my body.
R: I take it they woke you up
BR: yeh why didn't you stop them
R: because I thought it would be funny
BR: was it
R: not really
BR: do you want some breakfast
R: yeh
H: are you going to offer us some
BR: not but your girlfriends can have some as they didn't wake you up
H: hey your wife was involved in this
BR: yeh but she would be pretty mad at me if I didn't cook her breakfast
R: damn right I would and you would be sleeping in the spare bedroom
BR: that's exactly what I mean, so I have to cook her breakfast
R: babe cook your brothers breakfast and go cook it now before I starve to death
We all sat on the porch eating our breakfast just talking about all different things, and everything that had been going on lately with everyone, and after everyone left I really needed to talk to brax, as I had applied for a job which I had got, but I was a bit further away from Australia than I had planned.
R: babe can I talk to you this is important
B: yes sure whats up
R: you may want to sit down
B: whats going on
R: well I got a job in photography
B: that's amazing, when do you start
R: babe let me finish, its on a cruise all the way in Canada and if they like me it will become a full time job and I want to know what you think
B: I think its an amazing opportunity but its so far away Ricky, whats that going to mean for us
R: brax were still going to be us just further apart
B: how long's the trial period
R: 8 weeks, then I will know if ive got the permenant job
B: so why don't you go for the 8 weeks and see what happens and if you like it then decide if you want to do it permnantly
R: would you be ok with that
B: not really but you love taking photos and it makes you so happy so yes if that's what you want
R: do you know how much I love you
B: well you can show me if you want
R: can I, I said getting up and walking towards the bedroom brax following me
Brax was sat staring at me
B: when do you have to leave
R: in a few days
B: so Friday
R: yeh, are you sure your ok with this
B: yes im positive I just want you to be happy
R: I love you and I am happy here with you, if you don't want me to go
B: babe go because this is what you have wanted your whole life so go after it
R: thank your
B: but I have to ask one thing, how long have you known about this job
R: a couple of weeks but I didn't think I would get it
B: why wouldn't you get it your photography is amazing
R: I know but I haven't done much work in it
B: lets go for a shower so you can break the news that your leaving to my family
R: I guess that means were having a family meeting
B: yes, so we better go shower
We arrived at angelos to see everyone just sat there waiting talking about why they were all there.
H: jeez what to you so long weve been here for ages
B: well were here know so shut up
BI: why are we all here
B: Ricky do you want to tell them
BI: wait are you pregnant
R: no I am not, but I am leaving
BI: what
R: im leaving to go to Canada for a photography job
C: what about brax
R: hes staying here as it is only an 8 week trial period then I will know if ive got the permanent job
Nobody said anything, they all just looked at me
R: guys come on im coming back you don't need to look at me with those sad eyes
C: whos going to keep brax in line
R: hopefully he wont do anything stupid whilst im gone
B: we cant guarantee that
R: you better not get yourself in trouble whilst im gone
Everybody just laughed at that and said congratulations and hugged me
P: so when do you leave
R: Friday
P: so you will be able to come to the ultra sound along with these guys
R: yeh of course, I wouldn't miss that
B: so who wants pizza. Everyone said yes and brax went into the back. We spent the rest of the afternoon at angelos
Friday morning
Me and brax were sat in the kitchen eating breakfast.
B: do you have to go today
R: yes
B: im going to miss you
R: im going to miss you to, but you need to look after yourself no doing anything stupid
B: ill try
R: brax im being serious don't do anything stupid
B: I wont I promise
R: ok good know come over here
We just stood there and kissed
R: I love you
B: I love you to
Shall we take you to the airport then
R: yes ive said bye to everyone know so lets go I said grabbing my suitcase. We got in the car and drove to the airport
B: do you want me to come in with you
R: no, otherwise I wont get on that plane
He leaned in and kissed me
B: I love you
R: I love you to, ring me if you need me to come home
B: I will, ring me when you land
R: I will I love you and will see you in 8 weeks
B: ok bye
I arrived in Canada 20 hours later and to be honest I was pretty tired, but I knew I had to ring brax otherwise he would be worried out of his mind.
It rang a couple of times and then he answeared
B: hey did you get there alright
R: yeh im fine, how are you
B: I miss you already but im good
R: that's good
B: you sound tired you should go to bed
R: I will I just thought I better ring you
B: well thank you but go to bed and I will talk to you in the morning
R: ok I love you
B: I love you too and with that he hung up and I went to bed completely shattered and tomorrow I would be boarding the cruise ready to start my new job.
I woke up in the morning to my alarm going off saying I needed to get up.
It was about 9 o clock before I bored the ship and then I was shown around and told where I would be working and what days. I then got shown my room and put my bag in and then was taken to the dining room where I met the rest of the crew. I was sat next to a girl called Amelia and Jamie, they were both very friendly.
R: how long have you been working here
A: a couple of years
J: since I was old enough to work
A: are you married
R: yes have been for about a year how about you
A: no, Its hard to keep a relationship when being away so much, how do you and your husband do it
R: this is the first time, so I don't really know, were just taking it day by day at the minute
A: oh whens your next break
R: 8 weeks
A: so your doing one cruise after another
R: yes I think so
A: oh atleast your not here for 12
R: that's along time
A: yeh but I enjoy it so Its all worth it
That's when I got a text of brax asking if I was busy. I text back saying I would ring him later
Brax's pov
The house was really quite without ricky, and boring and I didn't know what to do with myself, so I had been spending a lot of time with my brothers and at angelos. Me and my brothers were going out tonight to have some fun. By the end of the night I was completely drunk, along with my brothers. We managed to get home and they all stayed at my house. Ricky rang me not long after I got home.
R: hey babe
B: hey i said with a slur
R: are you drunk
B: maybe a little bit
R: your completely drunk
B: yes which is why you should be here
R: your going to have to look after yourself
I was know walking towards the bedroom when I tripped over something, and dropped the phone
R: babe are you still there, are you ok
B: yeh and not really I just tripped over something
R: I just burst out laughing
B: its no funny
R: ok im sorry, I will leave you to sort your drunken state out.
Rickys pov
I had just come off the phone with a completely drunk brax and decided to ring Bianca and see how she was.
B: hey hows it going
R: its amazing, I love it but whos idea was it to let the boys go drinking
B: I don't even know, but it was nothing to do with me
R: well if theyre as drunk as brax, good luck with four hung over braxtons
B: oh god that's not going to be fun
R: no but how are you
B: im good but I have something to tell you
R: ok go on then
B: im pregnant
R: seriously
B: yes nearly 3 months
R: why didn't you tell me sooner
B: I wanted to make sure everything was ok first before I told people
R: that's amazing congratulations, I expect you to send me a picture of the ultra sound
B: I will don't worry, I gotta go somebodys at the door
R: ok bye
B: good luck
