Sasha walked next to Grime.

"Alright, everyone settle down." Sasha said.

"Settle down?! You expect us to settle down after you just march in here and interrupt Anne's party?!" Croaker asked with her cane in the air.

"Yeah! She worked hard on this and you ruin it!" Wally said, pointing to Sasha.

"Well, don't worry." Sasha said, "Because we're here to invite you all to Toad Tower for an even bigger party!"

"A bigger party?" Sprig said in surprise.

"All the way at Toad Tower?" Hop Pop added.

"You see, when we heard that Sasha's friend was here, we just had to come and reunite them." Grime said, "As a thank you for watching over her, we've thrown together a party."

"And we'd like to properly apologize for that whole tax thing." Bog said as he, Fens, and Mire stepped forward. "We should've questioned your mayor more about the taxes, protocol can be a bit old these days."

"I apologized! Why does everyone keep bringing that up?" Toadstool asked Toadie.

"I don't know, sir." Toadie said as he patted Toadstool's arm.

"So, what do you frogs say?" Grime asked.

"Well... what does Anne think?" Mrs. Croaker asked.

Everyone looked towards Anne, trusting her opinion over all else. Could they really trust the toads this time since one of Anne's friends was with them?

"Uh... Sasha's my best friend, if she says it's fine, then it's fine." Anne said.

Even though her common sense AND spider sense we're telling her, the latter SCREAMING, that this was a bad idea. That something was wrong.

'My spider sense has never acted this way around Sash before. Why is it acting up now?' Anne thought.

As Anne was in her own mind, the frogs got on the Amphibia version of a party bus. Sasha grabbed Anne's arm.

"Come on, Anne, let's go."

Anne let Sasha drag her to the bus and sit up front before heading back to Toad Tower.

'Something's... weird.' Anne thought, 'Sasha was never this forward with her.'

Anne wasn't stupid, she could see how Sasha acted around her somedays. Flirty, trying to impress Anne sometimes, and doing things to make her pay more attention over Marcy.

'This is... weird.'

Seeing Sasha so friendly but also seeing the toads so friendly was crazy. It made the whole ride to Toad Tower quiet for Anne while everyone was seemingly calm.

"Oh, man, I can't wait to show you where I've been staying." Sasha said, "You know, there's room in my bed for two."

"Two?" Anne asked in surprising, blushing a bit. "W-Why do you say that?"

"Oh, I just thought I'd bring it up. I figured since we found each other, we should stay together so we can find Marcy together." Sasha said, rationalizing her reasoning.

"Well, that makes sense but... I can't leave the plantars."

"Why not? From what Bog and Fens told me, they don't respect you." Sasha said as the "party bus" reached Toad Tower.

"It's not like that anymore." Anne said to Sasha, "They're... important to me."

"Oh…..but I'm not?" Sasha asked, feeling sad and looking away.

"I didn't say that! You're just as important to me, Sasha! You and Marcy." Anne said quickly, "It's just... the Plantars took me in, made me feel like I'm part of the family."

Sasha could sympathize with that a little bit, even if she was a prisoner of the toads at first before she cut a deal with Grime.

"It was... just an idea." Sasha said, "I didn't want to risk losing you again."

"Sasha, you would never lose me." Anne said to Sasha.
