Morning soon came to the dark jungle as the suns rays peaked through the foliage and reached into Ruby's base, where it focused through the window to Ruby's room, which happened to have a content raccoon and alligator nestled underneath the blankets.
Sly was the first to come to as his eyes began to open and landed on Ruby's face. Sly gave her a genuine smile before giving her a gentle kiss to the forehead without waking her. 'Hard to believe the one I'd love would be the first ever friend I made.' thought Sly who wouldn't have it any other way.
Ruby began to stir and opened her eyes to see her love staring at her with such caring eyes. "Good mornin', Sly." replied Ruby.
"Good mornin to you too, gorgeous." replied Sly using the charm he had developed over the years.
Ruby smiled at him with a blush on her face and leaned up to his face and locked her scaly lips with his soft one. Both let their tongues taste each other to enjoy the taste they would never get tired of.
Once they parted, Ruby got up from the covers, which revealed her naked body for one raccoon to see. Ruby saw Sly give her ass a long look and grinned before swaying her hips from side to side as she went over to get her clothes.
Sly could swear he was close to saying fuck what he said before and take Ruby right then and there. Luckily he had more restraint than that and put his regular clothes on.
"So Ruby, mind telling me where my pals went to yesterday?" asked Sly who wanted to make sure they were alright.
"After I scared them away with those ghost cats, they ended up getting lost in the swamp all night." replied Ruby.
"Man, they sure are gonna be surprised." replied Sly already imagining what their faces would look like.
"About what? That you're alive? Or that you got a sexy piece of alligator ass all to yourself?" asked Ruby pressing her chest up against Sly's back.
"I'm thinking both." Sly turned around and brought Ruby closer with his arms around her and gave her a light kiss before turning to the door. "Well, we better go find them." replied Sly heading out the door.
Ruby put her loincloth and tank top back on and followed Sly out to try and find his friends.
(Bentley and Murray)
Both of Sly's closest friends were currently driving away from the two ghosts they met last night. They had been driving all night, unable to ditch the spirits.
Murray took a sharp turn that showed a dead-end. They were trapped with the two spirits right behind them.
They looked out the window to see the two spirits closing on on them before suddenly stopping and turning around, leaving them alone.
"Did you just see that?" asked Murray in surprise.
"If you mean the ghosts leaving, then yes." replied Bentley.
"Should we double check, just to make sure?" asked Murray.
"That would be a safe idea." replied Bentley.
Both were just about to head out, but stopped when they heard a knock at the back door to the van. They both exchanged a confused look before heading out.
They opened the back of the van and were surprised to see not only Sly, but a female alligator that wore some very revealing clothing. Both were happy to see Sly, but confused on who the female was.
"Hey guys, good to see you in one piece." joked Sly who noticed their odd looks at Ruby. "Oh. I forgot to introduce you guys to this little lady. This is Ruby, the one who I told you guys about."
Both of their eyes widened even larger at that statement. This was Sly's friend before them? They could only imagine her when they heard about her from Sly, but seeing her in person made them give Sly a pat on the back in their heads. She had looks that seemed to put Carmelita's to shame.
"Not that Ruby isn't breath taking, but I would appreciate it if you would stop drooling over my girlfriend." replied Sly who couldn't really blame them. She was quite the catch.
"Uh, Sly? Isn't she the one we came here because of the fiendish five?" asked Bentley.
"Well, seems like our little alligator here deserves the award for best actress." replied Sly who began to explain to them why she was part of the group in the first place.
After the tale was finished, both of them were conflicted between believing it, and being suspicious of her.
"Are you sure that's all true, Sly?" asked Bentley.
"I'm willing to put my reputation on it." replied Sly with a serious tone that caught them off guard. He was truly willing to bet his reputation that he built up for years on this girl. That made Ruby smile and blush at how much he believed in her.
"Alright Sly, we'll trust your judgement." replied Murray.
"Good to hear. Now I think we better head out. We got a new member with us and we've got just two more of the fiendish five to get rid of." replied Sly.
Bentley and Murray could already tell after Sly's conviction that Ruby was the new member, which wasn't a problem, but it would take some getting use to.
After getting back in the van, they began to leave the swamp as Ruby already made sure her most trusted shaman could handle her base while she had already grabbed a pack full of her stuff needed for the trip.
"So, where to next?" Sly asked the guys while Ruby layed her head on his shoulder.
"It seems we're heading to the Kunlun Mountains. The next member is Panda King. He's the demolition expert of the group. It seems he was born poor, but grew fascinated with fireworks. He worked on them for a decade and tried to present them to some rich nobelmen. It didn't end well as they couldn't see past him for being poor and drove him away. Now he runs some kind of protection racket in the mountains." replied Bentley reading from what info he had gathered.
"Well then, time to bundle up." replied Sly as he knew it was gonna get cold. He could feel Ruby hold onto him and was hoping they had their own tent for the trip.
(Kunlun Mountains)
Sly and the others finally made it to the mountain, which was crawling with Ape Generals and Mandrill Warriors to try and catch any intruders.
"Ok, I think it would be best if we split up. If we stay in a group, we'll attract more attention. Sly, you and Ruby take the first path, we'll take the second and meet you at the top of the mountain, where I believe Panda King is." replied Bentley.
"On it." replied Sly as the couple began to take the path towards the top of the mountain.
"Are you sure they'll be alright?" questioned Murray.
"Trust me. I think a little alone time will help them." reassured Bentley as they went down their path.
(With the couple)
Sly and Ruby headed down the trail to try and make it to the top.
"So, seems like we're alone." said Sly with a clear undertone to the statement.
"Yes. It's rather-" Ruby got shoulder-to-shoulder with Sly and made sure her breasts were rubbing against his arm, "-calming." whispered Ruby into his ear.
Sly took the hint and brought his face closer to hers, but they were snapped out of their moment from a pair of Mandrill Warriors. They brandished their staffs as they were ready to get rid of the intruders.
"Looks like we got company." commented Ruby.
"Shame, and we didn't lay out any snacks." replied Sly with a grin.
Both warriors charged with the intent to stop them, but their efforts proved futile.
Sly moved to the left and used his cane to slice the staff in half. The warrior was surprised, but quickly found himself sent flying back from one of Sly's kicks delivered to his face.
Ruby let the other one come to her, then used her tail to trip him up, and used the momentum to fling him over her shoulder by grabbing onto his wrist and arm.
"Nice move." commented Sly, who was impressed with Ruby's technique.
"Not bad yourself." replied Ruby back as they began to tie up the warriors and headed back up the path.
As they made it up the mountain, Sly stopped as he felt like something was about to happen. It wasn't a dreading feeling, but more like he needed to be on his toes.
He focused his earring and his eyes widened before he ran towards Ruby. "Ruby! Get down!" yelled Sly who tackled her and sent them both down.
"Sly, what are you-" she was interrupted from her sentence as a charged ion went sailing over their heads and destroyed a medium size boulder with ease.
Sly and Ruby looked behind them and saw a figure standing on a boulder that Sly knew all too well.
"Carmelita." replied Sly who stood up and helped Ruby up. "What are you doing here?" asked Sly.
"What do you think? I'm here to lock you and your gang up. Once and for all!" yelled Carmelita.
"Sorry, but we've got an appointment with Panda King. Plus, I've got a girlfriend who wouldn't like jail cells." replied Sly gesturing to Ruby.
Carmelita saw Ruby and narrowed her eyes until they widened. "So, you finally showed your true colors. Figures you would side with a member of that group." replied Carmelita.
Ruby looked away with a guilty look on her face, that soon turned to confusion as Sly frowned.
"Look Carmelita. That group may have tried to harm my family, but Ruby is an exception. She is nothing like the others." declared Sly with a determined look on his face.
Carmelita and Ruby were both stunned by Sly's remark. Carmelita because of how strong he sounded, and Ruby because she was sure Sly would hold some resentment.
"Now if you'll excuse us, we've got a nutjob to beat." replied Sly who grabbed Ruby and quickly ran with her away from the fox.
Carmelita brought her shock pistol up and sent a few shots at them, but they ended up hitting the sides of the mountain instead. She let out a frustrated sigh and continued the chase.
Sly could already hear Carmelita behind them and looked around for a safe spot. He spotted a crack in the side of the mountain and slipped right into the small space with Ruby close to him. They held their breath as they heard Carmelita's feet on the snow and waited. They heard her pass by them and let out the breath they were holding in.
"Alright, let's get out of here before she gets back." replied Sly who noticed Ruby wasn't getting out of the space. "Ruby? We can leave now."
"Um, Sly? We're stuck." replied Ruby with an embarrassed look on her face.
Sly didn't know what she was talking about, but looked at the entrance and saw the problem. His face lit up a little as he saw Ruby's 'assets' were a little too big for them to squeeze out. It also didn't help that their bodies were very close either.
Sly looked up and realized the space above them was wider. He thought of how they could use that, and blushed at what he was about to suggest.
"Uh, Ruby? I've got an idea on how to get out, but you might not like it." replied Sly.
"Sly. If it gets us out of here, then I'll be fine." reassured Ruby with a smile.
"Alright, but don't say I didn't warn you." replied Sly who crouched down in the small space and slipped under Ruby. He held onto her legs and stood up with her on his shoulders.
Ruby was stunned by the sudden action and didn't get what Sly was doing. He pointed up with one of his fingers that pointed to the wide opening. Ruby saw it and understood right away.
Sly felt her begin to stand on his shoulders and helped lift up her feet while keeping his gaze from drifting upward. Even he knew when not to take risks.
Ruby grabbed onto the sides of the space and began to to use her nails to climb up. She reached the top of the space and felt snow under her hands. She managed to pull herself up and looked down to see Sly.
"Hang on Sly. I'll lower my tail." replied Ruby who dipped her tail down and felt Sly grab a hold of it. She began to hoist him up and soon his hand came out and gripped onto the snow as well.
Ruby helped Sly up and both smiled at each other. Sly turned and got an instant smile on his face. Ruby turned to where Sly was looking and they both were looking at a temple that seemed to be the main base on the mountain. If they looked over the side, they would have seen that the base was located on top of a large statue of Panda King.
Both of them made their way into the temple without running into any guards, and found themselves in a large spacious room where a large panda with red shorts on stood.
"So, you dare betray the fiendish five, Mz Ruby?" questioned Panda King.
"I'd rather be with my man than stay with the group that tried to have his family killed." replied Ruby with a serious face. "And my name is Ruby!" yelled Ruby who was too young to be called a missed.
"Very well. Than I shall hold nothing back!" yelled Panda King who got into a martial arts stance.
Sly got his cane ready while Ruby held her hands out and closed her eyes. Her hands glowed as several of her ghost cats rose up from the floor. She thrusted her hands forward and the ghost cats shot straight towards Panda King with their claws.
Panda King began to send fireballs at the spirits, which seemed to cause the spirits to disperse into nothing. He then brought his hand up and delivered a karate chop to where Sly and Ruby stood. Both were able to dodge the attack.
Panda King began to spin on the ground, making a circle of flames that Sly and Ruby jumped over and managed to land on Panda King's back. Seeing how they were so close, Panda King began to thrash around to try and get them off.
Sly stayed on thanks to his cane and Ruby used her sharp nails to stay on. They both noticed that the panda seemed to quickly tire out, which gave them a perfect idea.
Ruby sent more ghost cats at Panda King, which distracted him while Sly grabbed a jar of oil that was on the floor. He jumped off Panda King's back and stood in front of him.
"What's the matter? Too fast for ya?" teased Sly.
Panda King growled in anger and charged through the ghost cats and was about to deliver a Booming Chop to the raccoon, but his eyes widened as he saw Sly throw the jar containing oil on the floor, right in front of him. He couldn't stop himself in time and ended up losing his balance as he began to slip and his eyes widened as he headed stright for a wooden barrier. He crashed into it and found himself in lala land.
Sly walked over to his unconscious body and found the pages from the thievious raccoonus in his pocket. Satisfied with the completion of the mission, he turned around, and was greeted by Ruby's lips on his own. He closed his eyes and let his tongue taste hers as they enjoyed this moment.
After breaking the kiss, Ruby hugged him close to her body. "Glad you're alright." whispered Ruby.
"No need to worry. I've got you to keep me going." replied Sly.
Ruby smiled at the compliment, but frowned as a thought came to her. "Sly? That fox girl, do you like her?" asked Ruby.
Sly was stunned by Ruby's question, and could tell that he needed to assure her that everything was alright. Sure Carmelita was an interesting girl when he began to steal, but after seeing Ruby after so many years, he had realized that Ruby was the one for him.
"I use to, but I know who I'm perfect to be with." replied Sly. He lifted Ruby's chin til they were looking into each others eyes and said, "You." then claimed her lips again as all doubt left Ruby's mind and knew that their future was sealed together.
Now all they had was one more member to beat.

this was longer than anticipated, but I think it was rather alright. And don't worry, Murray and Bentley will have an explanation on where they were. Anyways, only two more chapters after this one, this I CAN guaranteed.
