Authors note: Don't worry, don't worry. I want it all to end on a happy note and a massive fight between Henry and Neal just won't do for that. Even though I still can't stand the guy ;). Hope you enjoy!

...

Regina sighed aloud as she lifted her feet up and dropped them on the couch. She was so goddamn tired. Her due date - April 16th had come and went. It was now April 18th, which meant Regina was now officially two days late. Why was she the one to be almost ten months pregnant!

She was home alone for the time being, her mother and Daniel were a the grocery store and Henry was at Emma's, probably playing another one of his brainkilling videogames together with Neal.

Even though Regina still can't stand the man, she had allowed Henry to spent time with him, if the boy wished so. She could still remember the pathetic way the man had tried - and miserably failed, to apologize.

...

Regina was waddeling as fast as she could towards the front door. There was someone knocking obscenely hard, with was totally unnecessary. "Coming." She murmered and grabbed the doorhandle so she could open the white door.

"What the hell are you doing here?" She spat as she saw who had been almost knocking down her door. It was Neal Cassidy.

"Look, miss Mills." He started as he quickly pushed a foot between the door, just to be sure the brunette wouldn't throw it shut right in his face.

Which he actually deserved by being a real ass.

"I just wanted to apologize. I realised I was really being a total asshole and I didn't mean it."

Regina sighed as her eyes shot a quick glance towards the foot that was preventing her from slamming the door closed. "I hope you're not planning on using that kind of language around my son."

The man frantically shook his head. "No I just-. Ehm, I wanted to apologize." He said softly. "I really hope that I didn't blow my chance with Henry. I didn't mean to be so disrespectful towards you, it just came out completely wrong."

Regina mentally groaned as she leaned against the doorframe. Maybe it were those annoying hormones, but Regina was actually starting to feel kind off bad for the man. He shouldn't be denied the chance to get to know his biological son, only because he had been mean to the Evil Queen. "I'll talk to him. But if he says no, it's no. I won't force my son to do anything he doesn't want to. Understood, mister Cassidy."

The man smiled slightly as he nodded his head. "Yes, thank you. Thank you so much."

...

Regina was snapped back from her thoughts by the sound of the front door opening. The playful banter between her fiancé and mother she heard from the foyer, brought a smile to her face.

"I still don't understand why I couldn't have those colorful round things." Cora said with a growl as she stepped into the kitchen and shot a quick smile at her daughter before turning around to Daniel again.

"Look Cora." He started, already tired of this conversation that had lasted the whole car ride home, "I told you before, and I will tell you again. That much sugar isn't really a good thing, remember what happened last time?"

Regina could immediately recal what happened last time. Cora had had some of Henry's candy and seeing that they didn't have that in the Enchanted Forest, the woman didn't handle it quite well. And by that, Regina meant she was on a sugar high for the better part of a day.

It had been horrible.

"Oh, that was one time." Cora snapped as she pulled the eggs out of the grocery bag and put them on the counter. "By the way, aren't you supposed to be at work in an hour?"

"Oh no." Daniel said with a shake of his head as he bent down to kiss Regina on the forehead. "I'm not going."

"What? Why?" Regina asked confused.

"Well, you can go into labor at any time. I'm not leaving your side." He reasoned as she moved to the counter to put the eggs in the place they belonged.

"Oh nonsens, you don't have to miss work to watch me be uncomfortable. Go and if anything happens I'll call you. But I shouldn't count on it too much, seeing that it has already been two damn days and she's still in there." Regina groaned.

Daniel still looked unsure as he put the bananas in the fruit bowl. "Ehm, I don't know Regina. What if something does happen and you have to call me. Maybe I won't be here fast enough.

"Darling, nothing is going to happen. I'm just going to sit and the couch and eat." Regina said with a smile. "It's really fine. Go, please."

"Alright, fine." Daniel sighed. "But if something happens, you'll call me immediately, okay?"

"I will, dear. I'll call you immediately. Now go change, otherwise you're going to be late."

"Ah, this is real true love. He's even willing to watch while you sit on a couch and stuff your face, only to make sure that nothing will happen."

"Mother!"

...

Goodbye, sweetheart. I love you." Regina said with a smile as she stood on her toes and kissed her fiancé on the lips.

"Love you too." He answered as he leaned in closer so his mouth was next to her ear. "You know, I read somewhere what sex can induce labor, so maybe you and I could." He said with a grin.

"Ugh, not now darling. I really am not in the mood. I don't understand while you would even want to have sex with this." Regina said with a sigh as she pointed at her body. "I'm like a giant whale."

"You're beautiful, darling." Daniel answered with a smile as he kissed her again and then turned. "I'll see you tonight and call me."

"I will, dear." Regina chuckled. "Don't worry."

...

"Regina dear, you should sit down. Calm down." Cora said as she put her book down and patted the empty spot on the couch next to her.

"I know." Regina sighed as she slowly sat down next to her mother. "I'm just- I feel weird and my back gets worse when I sit."

"How do you mean 'weird'?"

"I don't know." Regina said ash she rubbed her stomach on the place Aiden was kicking. "She is just restless and it makes me feel nauseous."

"Do you want a glass of waters, dear?" Cora asked as she was starting to get up.

"That would be nice, thank you."

The older woman nodded before making her way towards the kitchen. Regina watched her go as she suddenly felt a painful twitch in her lower stomach. She gasped in pain and slightly doubled over.

Oh no, not now. Regina thought worriedly as the pain stopped. "Mother!" She yelled in the direction of the kitchen.

Cora immediately stormed into the living room. "What is going on? Is she coming?!" She rambled and dropped down next to her daughter.

"I- I think I just had a contraction." Regina said softly as she rubbed her stomach. "I-" she started but was quickly cut off as another contraction took over. Regina moaned softly as she grabbed her mother's hand and squeezed so hard that it caused Cora to swear- but in her head of course. "Yes." Regina panted when it had passed. "Definetly not Braxton Hicks."

"But what are we going to do now?!" Cora said in a panicked voice. "I don't know how to drive and Daniel is not here. How am I going to get you to the hospital?!"

"Mother, calm down!" Regina said as she leaned back in the couch. "We can call Daniel, but there's no need to go to the hospital already. My contractions have just started. I'm fine, mother." Regina couldn't believe she was the voice of reason in this moment. "Now, can you please give me my cell?" She asked as she pointed at the phone that was lying on the table.

Cora swallowed nervously but nodded as she grabbed Regina's phone. She needed to keep her cool. She needed to support Regina, not the other way around.

Regina quickly searched Daniel's number and called.

"Hello?" He answered.

"Daniel, it's me."

"Regina? What is it? Did something happen?!"

"Daniel calm down." Regina sighed. "I'm in labor but-"

"What?! Did you just tell me to calm down while you're in labor?!"

"Daniel." Regina said sternly. "It just started, I'm fine for now. But could you please come home right away?"

"Yeah, of course. I'll be there in five."

"See you soon, darling." Regina said with a smile as she hung up. "He's coming, mother. Everything's going to be alright. Calm down, I'm the one in labor." She joked.

"Yes, of course." Cora said as she took a deep breath. "It's all going to be alright."
