This is my FIRST "Gamer" story. I hope that it is up to your standards.

New respect for people who write Gamer Stories. It is hard!

So sorry for the very long delay. I had a little over 500 words written but hit a writer's block, and then I started other stories...

I made a spin-off of this story called, "The Slayer Demigod" I hope that you all enjoy it and check it out.

Grim Quest: Dark Tides
(Time Skip: Eight (8) Hours Later)
(Andrew Cain's Point of View)

Khione grabbed me by my hand and flashed us away toward where she figured where the Storm and Wind Spirits would be.

I looked at my Mini-Map and saw that there was one green dot right next to me (Khione) and a few dozen tiny red dots.

I thought, 'Stats.'

Khione crossed her arms under her bosom and said, "Well, get to work."

I pulled out my Trident and said to the cold-hearted beauty, "As you wish, Milady."

I channeled Lightning through my entire being, and I saw everything around me slow down significantly.

I used my powers to try to destroy a Wild Wind Spirit, but it passed right through it.

I frowned deeply as I went to stab it with the Trident. The enchanted metal at first did nothing. But, then, it seemed to absorb The Wild Wind Spirt into its essence, adding to my and its power.

Congratulations, you have destroyed One Wild Spirit.
Complete the Quest: 1/ 150

I used my powers over Wind, Storms, and Sky to try to control the Wild Wind Spirits and the few Storm Spirits.

However, I underestimated them. They slowly began to merge and form into one Massive Wind Monster.

I muttered under my breath, "Great, this is just great."

Khione flashed away at that moment.

I gathered the water from the cold winter air and formed an armor of water and ice.

Immediately I felt my power surge. I thought, 'Stats.'

I smirked a crooked smirk as I looked at the Wind Monster.

I threw my Trident into its chest, but instead of it stopping in the Wind Monster. Instead, the Monster opened up a hole in its body, allowing the enchanted Trident to pass through safely without touching it.

The Wind Monster moved far faster than I thought it could as it flew toward me. With a shout, I called lighting down from the Heavens to try to vaporize it.

The Wind Monster seemed to laugh at my efforts as it quickly side stepped the Lightning Blast.

I flew into the air, and the Wind Monster flew toward me again.

I summoned the Trident, and it flew toward me from behind the Monster Wind Collective.

I threw a Lightning Bolt at it distracting it for a second, just long enough for my Trident to back stab the giant Wind Monster.

I used up a lot of Mana using the Lightning Blast since it was a massive Lightning Bolt. Though I glanced at my remaining Mana and saw I was recovering from it already.

The Trident hit the back of the Wind Monster, and it began to absorb the Collective.

It screeched and cried out in pain and agony.

I kept my distance, not wanting to get too close in case it tried something desperate.

I watched my Trident absorb The Wind Monster like a straw.

Quest: Complete Defeat all Wind Spirits 150/150.
Hidden Objective: Do it quickly and effectively (Complete)
Hidden Objective: Impress your Allies (Complete)

I slowly landed on the ground and willed the water and ice away from me. All of a sudden, I felt tired.

I summoned my Trident back to me and leaned heavily on it.

The Winter goddess looked down at me and said, "I got to say, I am rathered impressed. It did not take you too long."

I gave her a tired smile and nodded my head as I said, "It was my pleasure."

Khione smiled at me and said, "You seem tired… you should rest."

I nodded my head and asked her, "Could you take me somewhere safe?"

She smirked and said, "Sure thing, Hero."

I smiled slightly as I woke up. Khione took me to her home, and she allowed me to rest while she informed her father that I had taken care of the Wild Wind Spirits.

I thought about it a little before I thought to my System, 'Could you please roll all of my Gatcha Coins?'

Rolling… Rolling… Rolling…

Item: Blue Light Saber, Anakin, Luke, and Rey's.
Rank: Legendary.
Description: This Light Saber has seen a lot of use, from The Clone Wars to The Last Jedi. Due to it being a Legendary Item, it is virtually indestructible.

My eyebrows rose. That item could be useful.

I hummed as I kept it in my Inventory.

I felt like I was back to normal.

I sat up and swung my legs over the edge of the bed, and stood up. I was clad in only my Boxers. Yet the cold did not bother me. Nor would it ever bother me again.
