I don't know what to say except that this is chapter six and I'm finally getting Link and Pit together! Enjoy and REVIEW (And evade your taxes. The IRS can't catch me!)

Little Brats

Smasher was in her room, rereading the last chapters she had written for her (nonexistent) fans. She was reading chapter two of her fanfic. She decided this was the perfect time. She walked out her room and knocked on Pit's door.

"Yes, who is it?" Pit said, trying to sound like he had been awake even though it was only six in the morning and the day usually started at nine.

Oh, it's just me. I wanted to show you, Roy, Popo, Toon Link, Ness, Nana, and Lucas something. And since I know you'd probably want to, you can bring Link too.

Pit eyes went wide in excitement then turned red in embarrassment when he heard the last part.

"Well, what is it?" Pit said, really wanting to know what they were doing.

Something really fun!

"Ok, let me get ready." He looked down at himself to show how he was sleeping just a few minutes before.

Ok. Meet outside. I'll get the rest of the group. I still wonder how we haven't made a name yet. I'll have one by next chapter though!

Pit went into his room to change while Smasher gathered the rest of them. After a lot of struggles for everyone to wake up and get ready, they were all outside.

"So, what did you wake us all up from our sleep at this time in the morning for?!" Roy said, clearly missing his bed.

Before you kill me with your sword, Roy, I decided that you guys haven't gotten to experience my power yet, and so I decided we should try something out today.

They all stared at her as if she said that in another language (that's not Japanese because they all know that too).

"What do you mean?" Toon Link asked, with his expressive side showing.

You'll see.

She started scribbling something inside her book. Pit started freaking out, knowing that she was about to do something to them. The only thing that happened was a dust cloud formed.

"Phew! I thought you were going to do something wrong..." Pit trailed off as he saw that Roy had turned into a young infant. They all gasped when they saw this, with the exception of Smasher who was smiling, proud of her doings.

"WHAT DID YOU DO TO HIM!?" Pit yelled at Smasher.

Made him into a harmless, cute little baby!

She picked up the now baby Roy and admired his cuteness.

Who's a cutie? Baby Roy only burped at her while sucking his pointer and middle fingers. That's right! It's you!

"Turn him back now, Smasher!" Pit said.

Don't worry, Pit. He gonna turn back in three... two...

"Before she could finish Baby Roy turned back to his regular, non-cute self.

"PUT ME DOWN!" Roy demanded. She dropped him with no sweat and backed up. Roy pulled out his sword and pointed it at her, eyes turning red in anger. His sword started lighting on fire, but stopped when Link held him on the shoulder as a sign to stop. Roy sighed, gave Smasher one more angry glance, and walked back to where he was standing. Pit admired the work of Link and turned a bit pink. Luckily, no one but the author so he was fine.

Well, now that I see this worked, time to try it on all of you. She started cackling (yes, cackling) while writing down stuff in her book. She closed the book and that instant; a dust cloud covered them all up. When the cloud disappeared, everyone had been turned into a young baby. Everyone besides Toon Link. What had happened was that Smasher wasn't thinking when writing it all down and wrote her name as well. And forgot Toon Link, I guess. But who cares about him? WAIT I'M SORRY- "Sorry everyone. The author is currently out of commission from an injury. We are still holding an investigation on what happened to her a few seconds ago. Until she's back, I, Toon Link, the most important character of the story, will be taking over."

Toon Link looked down at everyone, shocked at what just happened.

"ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! WHY DO I ALWAYS MISS ALL THE ACTION?!" He cried. This was loud enough to alarm Zelda, who was having a small picnic by herself close by.

"What happened, Tiny Link?" She asked.

"First of all, my name is Toon Link. TOON. LINK. Get it right. And second of all, Smasher was trying to make things 'fun' again and caused everyone including herself to become young babies. The only one who wasn't affected was me. For some reason. That I'm still trying to figure out." He said huffing.

"Ok, that was A LOT. Uhm, let's get Peach. She's better with children like you."

"I'M THE SAME AGE AS THE OTHER LIINK (before he was turned into a baby, of course)!" He said with raw anger.

"Where? In your imagination?" Zelda asked while walking away.

"MAYBE! WHY'S THAT MATTER TO YOU?!" Zelda didn't respond, only looked back and smirked at him before going to get Peach.

When Zelda came out with Peach, Peach gasped at the babies. Not from surprise, but from how cute they all were.

"Look how cute they are! Oh, look at Link and Nana..." She stammered "and Oh! Look how cute this one is!" She pinched Toon Link's cheek, causing him to turn red from anger.

"I'M 17 (in my mind)! DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND THAT!" He yelled. "Anyway, we have bigger issues to take care of. All of them are babies."

"So, first of all, we bring them inside to the living room. You two can handle that. While you guys are handling them, I'll go buy some buy supplies. Make sure that the Hands don't see them." She instructed. They both did what they were told and started gathering up the babies. Peach left them to get the supplies.

"Ok, so we have Red, Popo, Roy, Smasher, Villager... Oh, Villager is so cute! Uh, Lucas, Ness... Link and Pit! That's all of them." Zeda said, carrying Lucas and Popo under her arms and Red on her head.

"So... HEAVY!" Toon Link said while carrying Nana, Villager, Pit, Ness, Roy, Smasher, and Link. They took all of them inside and sat them down on the carpet in the mansion's living room. All the babies started trying to hit each other with their tiny weapons, causing Zelda to take it all away from them.

"Don't want Peach yelling at me now because one of you died to a tiny Master Sword do we now?" She asked Toon Link, though not wanting a response. Toon Link only rolled his eyes.

"What do we do now?" He asked.

"We put something for them to watch I guess. They seem bored anyway." Zelda suggested. Toon Link nodded and turned on the T.V. A match against Incineroar and Sonic was going on.

"Oooh! A match between the slowest and fastest smashers? Cool!" Toon Link said, pupils growing and not peeling off the screen. Zelda was interested too, and sat next to Toon Link, watching the match.

After a while of watching, the match came to an end with Incineroar using Revenge on Sonic and getting him back with it. Toon Link's eyes went back to normal and he looked down, remembering that he and Zelda were taking care of the babies. Wait, babies... THEY'RE GONE.

"WHERE ARE THEY?!" He yelled.

"Who?" Zelda asked drowsily. She blinked a few times and realized what had happened.

"TOON LINK! YOU LET THEM GO!" She yelled at him. Toon Link got up and stood on the couch. He grabbed onto Zelda's shirt and started shaking her violently.

"YOU'RE THE RESPONSIBLE ONE! YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO BE THE BABYSITTER!" He yelled right in her face. "PEACH IS GONNA THROW ME INTO A BASEMENT WITH VILLAGER AND LEAVE ME TO DIE IF WE CAN'T FIND THEM!"

"Calm down! It won't happen if we find them. C'mon, let's look." Zelda said with reasurrment in her eyes.

"Fine. But if we can't, you get all the blame. I don't want to die yet." Toon Link said. Both of them started looking around the living room to see if any were there. The only people they found there were Shulk and Robin reading some books together near a corner.

"What? They're all babies you say?" Shulk asked.

"We can help look for them if you want us to," Robin added.

"Please do! I don't wanna die yet!" Toon Link told them.

"Ok then, here's the plan; Shulk, use your ability to see the future to tell where they are. Toon Link, you're going to be the one to get them since you're the cutest of us all." Robin said. Toon Link didn't say anything about the cuteness statement, showing he truly feared Peach. Only Zelda said something.

"I'm the cutest, for your information!" She huffed. Robin only ignored her.

"Zelda, you get all the boxes from the attic and put them around the couch, so when we get them and put them in, they can't escape." Robin finished. Shulk's eyes glowed blue as he saw into the future. They went back to normal when he was done.

"Ok, so good news and bad news. Good news, I found where Roy, Nana, Ness, Red, Smasher, and Popo are. Bad news, I can't find Lucas, Link, Villager, and Pit anywhere in the future." He told them.

"Well, at least we have five of them. I'll go get 'em. Where are they?" Toon Link said and asked.

"In the closet near Pitoo's-" Shulk looked around to see if Dark Pit would come. He didn't.

"That's what I thought. Pittoo was turned into a baby too because of his connection with Pit. He's probably in his room. Toon Link, make sure to get him too when you get the others." Shulk finished.

"Yay. I get to break my back some more." Toon Link said sarcastically wall walking to the closet. He first went into the closet to round up the ones in there. He found all of them with their clothes swapped giggling. Even that sight was too cute for Toon Link not to say aww to. He told them that it was snack time and to line up. The only one who refused was Red who was in Smasher's clothes.

"I wan my Pokmon firwst!" He said in a cute voice.

"Red, your Pokémon are with the snacks. They're already eating!" Toon Link said in a voice that made him gag.

"Okie dokie Toon Wink!" He said.

'I've got to hurry. They're too cute!' Toon Link thought. He quickly went into Dark Pit's room to find him sleeping.

'Oh gosh. Hurry!'

He picked up the sleeping baby and started walking to the living room.

"Toon Wink, it's not faiw that Pittoo get to be cawwied and we have to walk. Cawy me too!" Nana who was in Roy's clothes said. Before giving him notice, she jumped onto Toon Link's head and started giggling happily while clapping. All the other's followed and jumped onto him, swinging on his arms and covering his eyes.

"GAHH!" Toon Link yelled. The noise woke Dark Pit up and he started crying.

"Why's evewyone yellwing?" He asked with the tears falling down his face.

"I HATE LITTLE BRATS! HELP MEeEeee..." Toon Link said when he fell from all the little children on his back. They only giggled at him while jumping on his back.

Link and Pit were in a closet. They were playing catch with a ball they found in there, giggling.

"Wink, this is fun!" Pit said. He threw the ball at him. Link only giggled. He threw the ball back to Pit. The ball hit him right on his cheek. Pit started crying.

"Wink, it huwts. I need Doctow Mawio!" He said, tears falling down his face. Link nodded and went to try to open the door. It didn't budge. He tried again but he still didn't succeed. Pit was still crying. He was out of options. He went to Pit, put his head on his lap, and started rubbing the back of his head. Pit was still crying. He didn't know what to do. The last thing he knew to do was something he had never done in his life.

"Feew bettew, Pit." He said. Pit stopped crying and his eyes went wide.

"Wink! You said something!" Pit said, a smile forming on his face.

"I guess I did!" Link responded.

"Now you can telw me stowies of yow twavels!" Pit said.

"Welw, I wonce cwimed a mountain! I was scawed at fiwst, but I made it. It was a pwetty view. I'm hoping to go there again. Maybe with you?" Link said. Pit smiled. That's when a big dust cloud surrounded them. When it disappeared, they had turned back to their regular ages. They didn't care and continued their conversation.

"Really, me?" Pit asked, turning a bit pink.

"Yeah. It would be fun," Link responded, also turning pink.

"But why me?"

"Well... It's because I like you." Link said, becoming even pinker. Pit didn't understand.

"I like you too! You're a really good friend."

"N-no. I mean I really like you. I... love you." Link turned completely red. Pit turned even pinker.

"I... love you too." Pit turned red. They stared at each other, making sure the other wasn't lying, and smiled at each other. Pit stood up and put his hands on his hips.

"Let's find a way out of here!" He said confidently.

'Wow, he's so confident' Link thought. Pit was looking at him with a confused face. Link then realized that he was staring, and turned bright red again. He quickly got up and apologized.

"SORRY!"

"It's fine. I know it's because of how hot I am!" He said with a smirk. Link turned even redder (If that was even possible. Seriously, go see a doctor dude). At that moment the author jumped up and punched Toon Link in the face for kicking her off her own paper. That's it, Toon Link. You were doing a good job before you messed up Pit. I hope he doesn't see this! "Just kidding. I'm not hot at all. Whatever that means. C'mon, let's find a way out," the author wrote, trying to fix that cursed mistake and continue writing HER story.

"O-ok," Link said. He put his hand at his back to get the Master Sword, but he could grab it.

"Where's the Master Sword?!" He asked in fear. Pit saw he was nervous. He then realized that he wasn't holding his bow either.

"Hey, my bow is gone too!" He said. He wasn't as scared as Link though because Palutena could whip him a new one in a blink of an eye. Link on the other hand started freaking out (for reasons I don't know because I'm not that familiar with the Legends of Zelda series). He started pacing around the room.

"What will I do? What if Ganondorf tries to attack Hyrule again? What if I can't protect Zelda?! The triforce would be ruined and-" Link stammered. He was cut off by the feeling of something squeezing his waist. It was Pit hugging him. Pit looked up at him with stars in his eyes.

"Don't worry, Link. We'll find it. We need to get out first though. Just don't worry." Pit said reassuringly. Link sighed and went to the door.

"I think that if we both push on the door, it may open," He said.

"Oh, ok!" They both put their hands on the door and started pushing. After about two seconds, the door flung open and Pit fell on top of Link on the floor. They both turned red and started laughing.

"Link, it worked! We're out! You're so smart." Pit said in joy.

"Uhm, actually, I opened the door." They both looked up to see Peach looking down at them. They realized they were lying on the floor together and quickly flung themselves up, and turned red, embarrassed.

"Oh, uh, thank you, Princess!" Pit stammered. Link only stayed silent, going back mute. Peach then looked at them in confusion.

"Why aren't you guys babies anymore? And how did you get stuck in that closet?" She asked.

"I don't know. All I remember was that I was-" Pit stopped, not wanting to reveal Link's speaking. " Was telling Link how I was scared! Yeah!" Pit said with a crooked, fake smile.

"Ok..." Peach said, suspicious of what truly went on in the closet (definitely not anything above K+. Don't demonetize me!). Peach then suddenly got VERY mad. She realized that Toon Link and Zelda must have not been paying attention and they let them loose.

She picked up her dress and started walking to the living room with an angry aura, stronger than Lucario's. Pit and Link stared at her in fear. They followed her to see why she was mad. They made it to the living room where everyone was yelling at Smasher.

"WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?! IS THIS YOUR IDEA OF FUN?!" Roy yelled at her.

"Yeah!" Both the Ice Climbers said in unison.

"BECAUSE I'M NOT HAVING FUN. I'M CURRENTLY IN POPO'S CLOTHES!" Roy said, pointing to the blue, ripped jacket he was wearing.

"Yeah! And my hammer is missing. Do you know how expensive those things are?! Remember me talking about it back in what? CHAPTER 2?!" Nana yelled into her face.

Calm down, guys. It's fine! It was fun, and Nana, I see you've found a passion for breaking the 4th wall now.

"STOP IT." Popo yelled.

OK! I get it, you want your weapons back. They're probably with Zelda.

"I'M STILL GOING TO KILL YOU THOUGH!" Roy hollered.

"Leave the killing to me." A voice that was too familiar said. Everyone froze in fear. Peach walked into the room.

"O-oh, hello Princess! H-how are you?" Roy stammered.

"Hello, Roy. I'm feeling VERY ANGRY right now. Thanks for asking!" She said with a calm face.

"Do you happen to know where Zelda and Toon Link are?" She asked, still calm. Zelda and Toon Link were hiding behind the boxes Zelda put up. Zelda made the mistake of whimpering when it was silent in the room.

"There you two are." She said between her gritted teeth. She walked over to the two boxes where she found them hugging each other for dear life. Zelda spoke up.

"H-h-h-hel-l-lo P-peac-ch!" Zelda said in fear.

"Can I talk to you two for a second?" That day, many people saw Peach's red eye. She didn't wait for an answer and grabbed them by the collars. She dragged them across the living room floor, everyone else staring in fear. They both were screaming.

"PLEASE HELP US!" Zelda screamed. No one was brave enough to help the unfortunate duo. Peach left the room with them and closed the door. The last thing anyone in that room heard from them that day was the screams of agony coming from the hallway. Everyone winced at it. Peach came back inside.

"That's why you shouldn't disobey me. Let this be a lesson to all you rebels out there." She said with joy, striking fear into all of them. "Now it's your turn, Smasher, for causing this whole mess in the first place." Smasher quickly opened her book and started scribbling in it again, trying to escape. Peach grabbed her on her collar, just like the last two, and started dragging her to the door. She luckily finished writing and poofed away before she could be beaten into a pulp. Peach wasn't mad. All she said was "I'll get her next time" with a smile and walked out of the living room. Moments passed, everyone still traumatized by the events that just took place. Roy then spoke up.

"Well, uhm, I am traumatized for life now. Being scarred was a uhm, great, goodie, yippee kai yay experience. Let's go to bed, shall we?"

The next day Link and Pit were sitting in the living room watching a movie. They were sharing a blanket and a bucket of popcorn. They were alone so Link was talking.

"Wow, this is a really cool experience. This is the first time I'm watching anything with anyone!" Link said, keeping his eyes on the action.

"Me too." Pit said back. He had a question he really wanted to ask at that moment and that was the perfect time.

"Link, I've got a question." He said.

"Yeah?"

"How come you never talk to anyone but me?"

"Oh. Well, it's because my whole life, it's just been me trying to fend for it and others'. I've always had to be alert for when anything happens and barely ever got time to rest. My body is basically in battle mode every second of the day and night. Even when I joined Smash back in 64. It's a sport about fighting, and so I had to fend for myself yet again. It's the reason I never speak. I've always just been a quiet person, but with all the fighting and all that stuff, my brain just came to the conclusion that it's not worth wasting my breath (haha, get it? Breath, Breath of the Wild? *insert laughing here*) on speaking when I wouldn't be listened to." He took a pause to breathe. "Until Brawl when I met you. We were basically shoved into each other all the time because we were so similar in our fighting styles, and because I'm a veteran you were a newbie as they call it. During the whole tournament, I got to learn so much about you, even with our rivalry. You were a sweet, kind person who though was just a bit salty at times, was a great person. Kind of like an angel." Pit giggled. "Then, in 4, you got updated just a bit and I thought you looked really cute." They both turned pink. Link continued anyway. "I realized then that I was probably gay. I didn't want to admit it to myself, but deep down, I knew it was true. It didn't really matter, though, because it's a fighting game. No romances here. Especially out of your franchise." Link frowned. "Then Ultimate rolled around the corner. It truly was the Ultimate version. At that point, I was completely comfortable with calling myself gay and comfortable with calling you a friend. Of course, I couldn't say anything though, because I'm mute. Then Smasher came along and we actually got to do things that aren't fighting all the time. Chapter three is what caused me to speak for the first time. I saw you sad, crying. I couldn't bear to see someone as joyful as you crying, dealing with loss. No one should ever. I didn't say anything special. All I said was 'Feel better, Pit'. But those words were special to me. My first words. And I'm thankful for them. That's why I only speak to you, because you're the reason I speak in the first place." He finished. He was breathing hard from slamming out a huge paragraph, but it was worth it.

"I'm not used to talking so much. It's kind of weird to form sentences." He said after breathing for a good amount of time. He was holding his chest, not from lack of air, but from the feeling he was getting from speaking his heart out to the one he loved the most. Pit hugged him.

"I'm glad you told me this, Link." He said with his eyes closed, hugging him by the torso. "I hope you feel better now. Never be scared to tell me anything." Link smiled at him, happy that he was there for him. Now it was time for his question.

"Well, I also have a question for you." He said.

"Fire at me!"

"Why do you even like me? These are the few times you've ever heard me speak, so that can't be it. Why me?"

"Well, I guess it's my turn to tell my story. Back in the Melee tournament, when I hadn't joined yet, Palutena used to tell me about all the amazing fighters. One always interested me every time she talked about him. It was you. I would always ask for more information about you, which she would always raise an eyebrow but not question, and would tell me another fact. Then, when I got an invitation to Brawl, I was super excited to meet my idol. Back then, I didn't really understand the feeling I had when I was around you, but I do now. For the tournament, I got a design change. I think I look great now! At first, it was an adjustment to my small, black eyes and orange socks, but I grew to appreciate the change in 4. When I first met you, I would stare a whole lot at you, trying to take in all the great details about you, but then realized that I was acting like a real creep and decided that it would be smarter to grow closer to you as a friend first. I slowly became your friend. We even had a rivalry. I was really pleased with myself. 4 then came around and we still had our rivalry. I looked a lot better too. By then my own world was made, called Kid Icarus, and I got to experience a whole new adventure, meeting new people like Viridi and Magnus. I even got my brother, Pittoo there. Lady Paluena and Pittoo got to join Smash and I finally wasn't just some random non-existent character. I finally had a story. That's when my small friend group came to be. I became good friends with Ness, Lucas, Roy, Toon Link, and Villager, though I didn't talk to him too much because of his axe. We all got to do things together ad it was fun, but not that much because of having to fight all the time. Then the Ultimate tournament came by. Lots of new fighters came around, like Inkling and such, and lots of old fighters from some of the older tournaments that were forgotten came too, two of those being Popo and Nana. A friend group grew even bigger. You then were changed a whole lot. You got a blue tunic and you didn't have your iconic hat anymore. I thought you were even cooler than ever, and that's how I found out that I was gay. I didn't take it to seriously though. I realized I always blushed around you or whenever you were in the conversation. I never denied being gay, I only denied liking you. But of course, I'm probably the worst liar of all time and all my friends knew about it. It stayed this way until Smasher came along. Even though she caused problems all the time and she was annoyi-" Pit stopped.

ANNOYING, YOU SAY?! I HELPED YOU GET WITH LINK ON ACCIDENT. AT LEAST A THANK YOU!

"I'm getting to that part! Leave us alone! Even though she caused problems all the time and she was annoying, she gave lots of spice into my life. I got expirience stuff I've never before, such as loss and sadness, but also fear. I'm greatfull for her a lot. After turning us into babies and us getting us stuck into the closet, you told me that you liked me. I'm very happy. I never thought someone as cool and amazing as you would actually like someone like me. And, I like you too. That's why." Pit started panting.

"Wow. I didn't think I had an impact on anyone. Thanks for telling me this." Link said, hugging Pit around his shoulders.

"Thanks for caring about me." Pit said. "Now, lets finish our movie." Link put the movie back on and they continued to watch. The movie was suddenly paused and the word alert was written in big white letters on a red background.

"Huh?" Pit asked. The T.V. turned onto Masahiro Sakurai himself.

"みなさん。私たちの戦闘機の2人は、追って通知があるまで任務から外れていると言うようになりました。昨日、私たちの調査チームがまだ理解しようとしていることが彼らに起こりました。二人はゼルダとトゥーンリンクです。繰り返しになりますが、これら2つは追って通知があるまで任務から外れています。ハッピースマッシング (Hello everyone. I've come to say that two of our fighters are out of commission until further notice. Something happened to them yesterday that our investigation team is still trying to figure out. The two are Zelda and Toon Link. Again, these two are out of commission until further notice. Happy smashing)!" He said. The T.V. went back to their movie.

Both Pit and Link stared at the screen in fear of what they just heard, hugging each other.

"Y-you know what, Link? I t-think it's best if we g-go to bed, right?" Pit stammered.

"Y-yeah! L-let's go t-to my room!" Both of them got up an ran as fast as they could to Link's room and hid under the blankets. They went to sleep.

Jeez! This is such a long chapter! I hope you liked it. Sorry again for posting these stuff so unconsistently. I'm hoping I can do it every three days maybe. Anyways, I am happy to say that Pit and Link are officially together! I wasn't planing on putting the fact that they're gay, but it's fine. I'll put the sexualitys all the characters are here so that you're not confused in the future. This is only for the main characters by the way:
