The party came off well and after everyone wished them a good life, Janna hugged the few witches in attendance and Severus shook hands with the wizards, after which they made their way to their new set of rooms Albus had specifically set up for them as a married couple.
The couple spent several hours consummating their marriage before Janna packed their bags in preparation of going off to celebrate their marriage.
/*/
Janna was his and in his entire life Severus hadn't ever been this happy. As he laid there gazing at his lovely wife, Severus thought about Harry. He hoped his son would be willing to recognize him as his father and accept Janna as his mother. Severus was reluctant to put too much faith in his hopes knowing his son had grown up hearing stories about his father the great James Potter.
Then leaning in, Severus kissed his wife on the shoulder whispering, "I have loved you all my life. Now we shall see what the future will bring."
Janna pulled her husband closer. "That's an odd thing to say Severus, but had I known you all of my life I believe I would have loved you as well."
Severus faced away from Janna as he ran his hands up and down her back whispering ever so softly. "You have known me for most of your life and you did love me."

The Years Of Decisions: Chapter 7: Dumbledore And Dinner
Albus and Minerva sat in his office discussing the nuptials. "I'm truly glad for Severus and Janna," said Minerva. "With her light features and his dark I think they make a fine looking couple." Glancing at Albus, Minerva cleared her throat before sharing her deeper thoughts. "Not to be indelicate Albus, but I never thought I'd see the day when any witch found Severus appealing and he found the witch appealing in return. Janna has given our sour faced Potions Master a reason to smile, but I hope she isn't expecting anything remotely close to personal intimacy. We've known Severus for years Albus. A witch may have turned his head, but I wonder if he knows what to do with her now that he has her. Severus is Severus. There will always be a part of himself he won't share."
Looking over his glasses at Minerva Albus raised a hand and gave her a stern look. "I suggest you leave Severus and Janna to their lives. Janna has given Severus something he was lacking and it isn't up to you to judge his motives. Severus does deserve something good from life. I can only hope his wife will help him make the right choices this time."
Minerva looked a bit perplexed as she questioned Albus as to what he meant. "And what does that mean Albus? Surely you can't be thinking Severus will seek out the dark forces. He's come too far for that."
First gazing up at the ceiling then pinching the bridge of his long nose Albus gave a solemn response. "Sometimes we make choices because they are the only choices we have."
"Ever the pessimist Albus. Are you speaking about Severus or are you speaking about yourself? Be that as it may, I wish them a long and happy union" said Minerva as she left the office.
/*/
As the door closed behind Minerva Albus growled to himself. "I have given Severus as much time as I could possibly manage, but his time for happiness may not be all that long lived. The time is coming when he will have to put happiness aside and look to his duty."
On the wall Phineas Nigellus snapped. "At it again are we Dumbledore? When will you take your bloody nose out of the business of others? Severus has chosen a wife. Who are you to say how much time he is allowed to have with her?"
"And what would you have me do Phineas? Shall I allow the Wizarding World to be torn apart while I do nothing? That will never happen. The pressure Phineas. The pressure. This September we will face our biggest challenge yet. Harry Potter, The Boy Who Lived will arrive at Hogwarts not knowing that his future has been preordained."
"Stop making such a big deal of this Albus. We know his destiny. We also know it is only a destiny if The Dark Lord returns. Prepare the boy for what may come. Start teaching him as soon as he is through the doors. Give him the training he needs. Then whatever comes will come, but he will be ready. That's it nothing more."
"It's not that simple Phineas and that's all I will say about the matter," snapped Albus as he strode from his office.
/*/
Phineas Nigellus Black never one to let someone else have the last word called out after the Headmaster. "Perhaps you should find yourself a witch Albus. Might do you some good," he said as he stepped out of his Hogwarts portrait and into his Grimmauld Place portrait mumbling that Gellert Grindelwald had ruined Albus for any other partner.
It was a well known fact that had Albus not been responsible for the welfare of his sister and brother, he and Gellert would probably be living together ruling some country with the proverbial iron fist. Phineas was the only elder wizard foolish enough to mention the relationship, but only ever in a very low voice and only to Dumbledore's back.
/*/
The first thing Dumbledore did when he returned to his office was warn Phineas that he wouldn't listen to any of his rubbish so he should keep his thoughts to himself. The other portraits snickered as Phineas huffed and puffed but did not challenge Albus in any way.
Dumbledore sat at his desk quietly pondering the fact he had until July 31st to decide how to handle Harry. His first inclination had been to send Hagrid to Little Whinging with Harry's Hogwarts letter. However after a bit more thought he felt it would be more expedient to send Harry's biological mother and father to explain things to him. Janna and Severus wouldn't declare themselves to their son, but they would have the chance to speak with him before he arrived at Hogwarts. Dumbledore still figured to use Hagrid, but only as the messenger who would accompany Harry to Diagon Alley to purchase school supplies and get him safely on the Hogwarts Express.
Dumbledore sighed deeply. This was yet another thing he and Severus would bump heads over, but it couldn't be helped. He was the Headmaster and no matter how much he irritated others, he would do what was necessary. In this instance, Severus could very well refuse this request and Janna…. Sighing again, Dumbledore shook his head. Janna might simply decline to accompany Severus to Little Whinging figuring it had nothing to do with her. What a bloody mess.
By the 20th of July Dumbledore had his plan firmly in place. Hagrid had been advised of his part and all there was left was for Albus to get Janna and Severus to agree. He sent the couple a message to see him when they returned.
/*/
On the 24th of July, Severus and Janna returned from their two week honeymoon to find Dumbledore's message. "Albus wastes no time," sighed Janna as she handed Severus the message. "It appears he would like to see us as soon as possible."
Severus grabbed Janna from behind and kissed her on the shoulder. "Dumbledore will wait. We have just returned and I have things to do to you. Nasty things," he growled nuzzling her neck while running his hands over her breasts. "And after that we have an invitation for dinner with Lucius and Narcissa at Malfoy Manor. You will also have the opportunity to meet their son Draco who is one of our incoming students."
Janna smiled at her husband. "We have all the time in the world to be together. Let's just go see what Dumbledore wants. Perhaps we can see him in the time we would have used at Malfoy Manor," she sighed wistfully.
Severus turned Janna so she was facing him and kissed her passionately. "Remember this my love. Anything I want to do with you or you want to do with me or we want to do with each other supersedes any note from Dumbledore. We will see him when we are ready. Additionally, it would be rude of us not to show up to a dinner invitation especially when it is in our honor. I understand you do not much care for Lucius, but I implore you to suffer his presence tonight as there are things I need to discuss with him. I believe Narcissa will find you as enchanting as I do. Now my love. Is there anything you'd like me to do for you before we even think about checking with Dumbledore?"
Janna laughed as she grabbed Severus tightly around the waist. "I would like for my husband to remove my clothes, lay me on our bed and ravish me."
"I can do that," responded Severus. "I plan to do that. Dumbledore will just have to wait. Now give me that pussy so I can show you how much you mean to me."
/*/
Severus had his tongue firmly implanted against Janna's clit as he used his hands to work her vagina lips and she had him by his extremely thick head of hair trying to pull him even closer. Moaning and begging Severus to finish her, Janna was at the doorway to her climax when there was a bump against their room doors. The bump threw Janna off a bit, but Severus wouldn't let her go until he had her trembling in orgasm.
After insuring that Janna had received every bit of pleasure he could give her, Severus jumped up in a rage, opened the door with his wand ready to throttle whomever was out there. Fortunately, there wasn't anyone out there. It was a Missive Message straight from Dumbledore. Severus ripped it open while a naked Janna tried her best to calm him down. But Severus was not ready to be calmed. He pulled Janna to him, kissed her breasts and asked her to get ready for their dinner engagement. She kissed him on his forehead and hurried away to do as he asked.
Severus paced the room as he read the message.
Severus:
I expected to see you and Janna in my office as soon as you returned to Hogwarts. Perhaps I didn't make myself clear. I have a matter which needs to be discussed and settled sooner than later. The matter pertains to Harry. If you cannot see me today, please see me in the morning.
Albus
/*/
Severus was even more agitated after he read the message. Harry? Harry what? What in Merlin's name was Dumbledore trying to pull and how did it concern him and Janna? Severus didn't really mean what did it have to do with him and Janna. They were Harry's true parents. He obviously knew what that meant. Severus just didn't know why it would be a subject for discussion at this point in time when he'd never laid eyes on the boy.
Casting a quick clean up spell over himself Severus stepped into a set of robes. Janna was in taking a shower so Severus stuck his head in the door to tell her he was going to the Headmaster's office and would return shortly.
"Don't be long Sev," Janna said nervously throwing his words back at him. "We have a dinner engagement and it would be rude if we made a late appearance."
"Albus is insistent that he see me this day so I shall go, but it won't be pleasant and I will not drag you along. If it is germane that you be involved with this discussion, we will see Albus in the morning. For now I'm curious to find out if Dumbledore can say his piece in twenty words or less. We will make our dinner invitation. You may trust me on that."
Janna kept emitting small sighs as she dressed. She had seen flashes of her husband's temper in the past two weeks. The anger was never addressed at her. It was addressed at the server who was slow getting her food or the bartender who sent her Rose instead of White or the patron who opted to say more than excuse me after bumping into her. Between her sighs she was hoping Severus wouldn't use any temper on the Headmaster.
/*/
Severus emerged from his and Janna's rooms heading through the almost deserted school towards the Headmaster's office. Between the fourth and fifth floors Peeves tried to dive bomb Severus, but was met with a sticky charm which caused him to be covered in sticky tar and feathers.
"Severus covered me in tar and that's not nice.
From now on out I'll bother his lovely wife"
sang Peeves as he tried to get out of Severus' range. The tar and feathers had slowed Peeves down significantly and Severus was able to catch him in the back with another dose of tar.
"You dare threaten my wife? You insignificant little mite." rasped Severus. "If you go anywhere near her, Hogwarts will have seen the last of you. Now be gone."
"Don't be such a sore sport professor," said Peeves fearfully as he tried to get away from Severus. "I wouldn't hurt Professor Southway. I was just having my little joke."
"Damn nauseating piece of…" Severus cut off his next words as he was at the Headmaster's door and as Albus was expecting him the door had opened.
/*/
Dumbledore greeted his Potions Professor with a twinkle in his eye. "Good day Severus. I hope your words weren't meant for me. I had hoped we could have a positive conversation."
"Good day Headmaster. Although I do have words for you those weren't the words. I was directing my vitriol in the direction of your filthy poltergeist who has threatened to harm my wife. You and I both know that will not happen Albus because his first time going after Janna will be his last time doing anything at Hogwarts. I made it quite clear to the menace. I believe he understood."
"Severus," said Dumbledore shaking his head and peering over his glasses. "Have you not learned after all these years that Peeves is annoying but harmless? No matter. We have things to discuss. Will Janna be joining us? This concerns her as well."
"No Albus. Janna will not be joining us as she is dressing for a dinner engagement. I'm here to find out what could be of such importance that you expected us to leave our marriage bed to make an appearance in your office."
Dumbledore leaned back in his chair sending a frown in Severus' direction. "That was not my intention Severus and you know it," he said waving his hand through the air as if to dismiss the subject. "I want to discuss Harry."
Severus straightened up in his chair. "I understood your message very well Albus. You want to discuss Harry. What about Harry? Has he been hurt or hexed? Has someone told him the truth and he now wants to see his real father?"
Holding up his hand to stop Severus' rant, Dumbledore glared at him. "I have designed a plan for Harry. I would like you and Janna to deliver his Hogwarts letter and answer any questions he might have. I don't expect you to approach him as his mother and father. I expect you to introduce yourselves as two of his professors who are there to help him assimilate from the Muggle World into the Magical World."
"You want me to be cordial to Muggles? Find someone else Albus. I'll see to Harry when he gets to Hogwarts. Send Minerva or send Trelawney," he said with a smile. "Yes Albus send Trelawney. That would shake up the Muggles."
"I would rather it was you and Janna. There might be …. problems. These particular Muggles are foul people who at times have treated Harry abysmally. Before you go off on another rant I'll remind you Harry has survived because he is strong. Just go there, explain his Hogwarts letter and answer his questions. All without cursing the muggles. Please keep in mind that Petunia is Lily's blood sister who will probably treat you quite poorly. Inform Harry about what he needs to know and leave. Hagrid will see that Harry gets his school supplies and safely boards the Hogwarts Express. I understand you would rather it was someone else who visits Harry in Surrey, but I would like for the three of you to interact before you meet at school. Explain this to Janna as doing a favor for me."
"Alright Albus. I'll speak to Janna. If she agrees, we will speak with Harry. I will ask the muggles to stay out of the way just once. If they interfere, I will not hesitate to show them what it's like to meet someone as prejudiced as themselves."
"Harry will need to receive his letter as soon as he turns eleven which is the 31st. Perhaps Janna could take him a small birthday cake as well. Now. With that somewhat settled I understand you will be dining at Malfoy Manor this evening."
Severus rolled his eyes in Dumbledore's direction. "Yes. We are dining at Malfoy Manor this evening. I imagine Lucius has matters to discuss especially since his son Draco will be starting here in September."
"This will be work Severus. I'll need you to find out if Lucius has heard anything from his fellow Death Eaters regarding the whereabouts of Voldemort."
Severus rose from his chair, but moved to face Dumbledore directly. "My wife and I intend to enjoy a wonderful meal with the Malfoys. If there is news regarding the Dark Lord, you will be the first to know. If you'll excuse me, I need to bathe and dress."
After Severus strode from the office, Dumbledore conjured a pain relief potion to rid himself of the throbbing headache he had courtesy of Severus. The man was as obstinate as they come.
/*/
When he arrived back to the rooms Severus kissed Janna and went straight through to have his shower.
Janna sat on the couch after pouring herself a white wine. "Don't forget to use the hair care products we purchased in London," she called out to Severus. "The products make your hair so soft and shiny and I love running my hands through soft, shiny hair."
"I'm sure you meant that to sound like a compliment Mrs. Snape. However, I find those words somewhat ominous. Just how many heads of soft, shiny hair have you run those hands through?" drawled Severus from the bathroom.
"Well Mr. Snape up to and including you, the truth is that number would be one," Janna saucily replied.
Severus stepped out of the bathroom in one of the black bathrobes Janna had purchased for him. "One is a very fine number," he smirked stepping into his boxers and trousers as he spoke. "And just so you are aware, I find this Muggle robe very comfortable. Thank you."
Janna sipped her wine as she watched Severus button up the crisp, white shirt he would wear under his black, dress robes. He wasn't the handsomest of wizards, but he was gorgeous to her and she felt very lucky that he had fallen for her. Besides, he has soft, shiny hair. She smiled down into her glass wishing they were through with their dinner engagement and she could climb on top of her husband, run her hands through his hair while she rode that thick dick of his into the mattress.
Severus eyed Janna wondering what she was smiling about as he relieved her of her wine glass pulling her into a passionate embrace. "I know you don't care for Lucius, but we'll get through this. He has been sort of a mentor to me from Hogwarts forward. We are not as close as we once were, but I value his friendship. Let's go make our appearance. You will put Narcissa Malfoy to shame."
/*/
Lucius had attached a portkey to the invitation so it was a fast trip to Wiltshire for Janna and Severus. They were met by one of the elder house elves who knew Severus. "Good evening Mr. Snape sir. Good evening miss. Welcome to Malfoy Manor. Please follow me to the living room where I will announce you."
Severus stopped the elf before he could walk away. "This lady is not a miss. She is my wife Janna and will be introduced as such. Proceed."
"My apologies Mr. Snape," said the elf as he went into a low bow. "Mrs. Snape it will be."
Janna squeezed Severus' arm because he was flashing that bit of anger and he glanced at Janna patting her hand to show he understood.
Lucius came forward first to welcome them to Malfoy Manor and congratulate them on their marriage. He then presented Narcissa and Draco who also congratulated the couple. Narcissa took Janna by the arm introducing her to Mr. and Mrs. Greengrass along with Mr. and Mrs. Parkinson.
The males except for Draco separated into a group while the women sat together discussing their clubs and gatherings. Before the end of the night Janna had received invitations to several Pureblood women's groups. There was a bit of a glitch when Janna declined the invitation from Mrs. Greengrass and the woman haughtily declared that hired workers probably didn't belong in her club anyway.
An irritated Severus had made one step toward Janna to defend her, but she stopped him cold with her response to Mrs. Greengrass. "I decided to pursue the noble career of teaching our children instead of sitting home on my arse counting my silver when I was young. If you want to go head to head about blood status, I will trace my line back to Merlin just for you even though I do not need to be quantified by a rude witch looking for attention. Rather than speak to me in that tone and manner ever again, you do not have to speak to me at all," and turning to Narcissa she begged her pardon for using such strong language in her home before excusing herself to the ladies.
Feeling quite proud of his wife Severus turned his attention back to the conversation going on among the wizards in attendance. There wasn't much to be learned from Greengrass or Parkinson. They had nothing of value to add to the conversation.
/*/
While Janna was gone, Narcissa spoke to Mrs. Greengrass in a low, deadly voice. "Janna is my guest as are you. Her blood is as pure as mine and if you are challenging her you are challenging Lucius and I. I'll expect you to apologize to Mrs. Snape," said Narcissa as she walked towards Janna who had returned from the ladies room.
Narcissa smiled as she approached Janna and Janna returned her smile. "Dinner will be announced shortly."
As Narcissa and Janna stood there making small talk, Lydia Greengrass approached them directing her comments to Janna while extending her hand. "I misspoke Mrs. Snape. I hope you, Narcissa and I will become great friends."
Become friends with an insulting, pretentious, bigot was the farthest thing from Janna's mind, but before she could reply, the house elf announced dinner. Then Severus was at her side offering his arm and whispering in her ear. "Be careful Mrs. Snape you are beginning to take on the characteristics of your husband."
Janna kept a straight face as Severus seated her then seated himself. She had a lot to say, but it could wait until they were alone in their rooms. For now she would enjoy the meal and the conversation.
/*/
The meal was lovely and the conversation interesting, but it was hard for Janna to determine which of the Malfoy males was the more arrogant, Lucius the elder or Draco the younger. Sighing deeply, Janna realized that come September she would probably have the abusive little snot in either her regular classes or in one of the Introduction To (Care of) Magical Creatures classes she covered for Professor Silvanus Kettleburn. Perhaps luck would be with her and she wouldn't have Draco in either of her classes. That dream was short lived as Lucius remarked how Draco was looking forward to being sorted into Slytherin House and having his godfather and his godfather's wife as his professors. Shite.
/*/
After dinner, Severus and Lucius excused themselves from the others to have a private conversation. Lucius hadn't mentioned a side meeting in the invitation which could only mean it had to do with their other life. The Death Eater life which they so skillfully hid. The real information would come from whomever was waiting patiently for Lucius in his private study.
Severus figured something had happened so he was not surprised to find Yaxley on the couch and Travers pacing back and forth.
"Well, well, well." sniped Travers holding his hand out to Lucius then Severus. "Been a while boys. How are things?"
"Things are on track," replied Severus. "Why are you here?'
"Now, now Severus," said Lucius stepping between the two wizards. "We are all working to the same end which is to see The Dark Lord return."
"Are we all working toward the same end?" asked Yaxley. "What are you doing here Severus? Are you allowed to be away from your job? I thought you were charged with spying on Dumbledore. How can you be spying if you are here at Malfoy Manor enjoying the good life? I understand you even managed to find a Pureblood wife. Yes. Even though we are out there searching for the Dark Lord through bushes, mud, under bridges and any damnable place you can imagine, we do hear things. It's my guess that the Mudblood is nothing but a…."
Severus cut straight across him. "I have put up with your shite and innuendos for years and it ends here Yaxley. You've been known to run your mouth behind my back. How far you've come to stand there questioning me. Me who is second only to Lucius in the eyes of the Dark Lord." Then, a furious Severus whipped out his wand and with a z like movement had Yaxley on the ground mewling like a baby unable to move. Doubt me all you like behind my back, but don't fucking think to get in my face again or I will kill you."
Lucius clapped Severus on the back telling him to release Yaxley before turning to Travers. "Is there something you would like to say to Severus…to his face? If not, let's have a brandy and you can tell me why you've turned up at Malfoy Manor."
Yaxley staggered to his feet. "You've become entirely too sensitive Severus."
"ENOUGH!" shouted Lucius. "You are both in my home. Respect it. Now state your purpose."
"My apologies Lucius," replied a cowering Yaxley. "We are here because we have news."
Thank you for reading.
