Thalia paled and started scrambling in the dirt almost like a reflex to finally seeing her ex friend eye to eye since that day without being able to hide behind her mask.

"Wait, Thalia." Annabeth's sharp voice cut through the air towards her like a needle and the desperate waver in it made her freeze in place like a started rabbit. "please," The blonde breathed "I-Is Percy…?" hopefulness laced her voice but the mention of percy's named caused Thalia to come to her senses, he had died because they had come here and although he would have wanted the company to have mutual trust with the Olympians eventually despite the horror, pain and humiliation they put them through (because he was a nice person) She couldn't just forget, when she looked at Annabeth facing her she couldn't bite back the venomous words that spat from her mouth "No, he's dead. You had your chance with him. Now good day." She got to her feet and sprinted away as fast as her long legs would carry her, leaving Annabeth sitting in the mud, her face contorted with shock as she tried to process the information and nothing to look at but Thalias crumpled dark blue mask that lay forgotten at her feet.

Tears collected at the corners of her eyes, her mask was gone and she suddenly felt very open to the rest of the word, before her tears would have remained unseen but by finally seeing Athenas daughter without her mask it was as if she was a helpless 16 year old girl again.

As she ran past whispers followed her like wildfire, as one of the exiled heroes many people had seen her face and it must've been a shock to seeing her whistle by. In the distance the sound of thunder shook the city and lightening flashed down to the throne room, now they had gone away with their masks and light sabres it was only a matter of time before… She shook the thought from her head and clutched the mandrake to her chest. She refused to let any more of her friends die if she could help it.

She swiftly went to jaspers side, the room was dark and felt stale, next to her Bianca was tenderly stroking Neo's hand.

"Well, here goes nothing." She carefully squeezed the mandrake over the paralysed boys face so that a clear liquid dripped down into his mouth.

A few tense moments passed, Thalia counted every second until finally she saw Jaspers eyelids flicker.

"Quick someone go grab a doctor!" Thalia yelled and Bianca rushed over from where she sat in a flurry of excitement,

"Jasper!" she cried out, a groan echoed from him as he stirred slightly. "Hush now, don't move, you're alright."

His eyes snapped open and his eyes wildly searched that air in front of him looking for an unseen enemy, his movements became stunted and panicky and Thalia had to use her whole body to pin him down. "Calm yourself Jasper, we've got you!" she spoke comfortingly but firmly.

"No! I have to warn them, I have to help Nico, I need the muses! The Drakons are here, the Drakons have invaded Olympus!" He yelled and struggled against Thalias weight. Thalia's expression turned grim and she turned to Bianca. "Quick, tell my fa- I mean, Zeus about the Drakons, and while you're at it call the nine muses. Hurry." Biancas face turned white and she nodded with a determined expression before leaping out of the doors and away towards the palace and the clouds of thunder that swirled above it, commotion echoed in from outside but it all seemed very far away as Thalia drew her face closer to Jasper's "Tell me, what does it look like, how are they getting in here?" her urgent voice seemed to penetrate through Jason's voice as he saw his eyes focus on here, his ragged breathing tickled her nose as he whispered

"They have always been here. They've come for the flame."

Thalias brain whirled as she tried to process his words; if they had always been here then they must've been hiding somewhere, but where? And the flame, surely they didn't mean the fire of the west that moved with Olympus, if it could be turned into a physical thing it could rival even a Drakon's flame, if the Drakons were moving then they must've thought they were close… and Percy, did he know something. When she had last seen him fully conscious he had seemed like he was onto something.

When Kamchatka had him murdered was he trying to eliminate the threat? And now Jasper… her face twisted with effort, she had just been handed the impossible task of leading the company now the two leaders where currently out of action, the last time she had done anything like this was when she had led the hunters and that hadn't turned out well either-

Her thoughts were interrupted "eliminate the threat." Jasper wheezed before his eyes rolled up in his head from the strain and he fell against the pillow. A chill settled on Thalia as she realized her assumptions were right, and Leo and Nico were in serious danger because of it.

RxRxR my fabulous audience ;D
