Dumbledore removed his glasses placing them heavily on his desk. "If you are adverse to doing this Severus, say so. I've had enough of your sarcasm. Hex the Muggles. Put them in restraints," Dumbledore said raising his voice. "I do not care. Just get to Privet Drive and inform Harry of what he needs to know and be done with it."
There was silence in the room after Dumbledore's outburst. Dumbledore sat back in his chair glaring at Severus as Severus glared back at the Headmaster.
To ease the tension Janna addressed both wizards. "I think we have everything we need Albus. I will send for a copy of A History Of Magic unless there is a current copy available for us to take to Mr. Potter. When Harry meets Hagrid he should be well versed about our world. All that will need to be done is get his supplies and get him on The Hogwarts Express."
"Thank you Janna," said Albus pulling a copy of A History Of Magic from his drawer. "I have no doubt everything will go well. Thank you."
Severus was obviously still aggravated with Dumbledore and guided Janna out of the office without another word.
Janna waited until they were away from Dumbledore's office before speaking to her husband. "Honestly Sev. You were almost hostile in there. We agreed to do this. We should act accordingly."
"Duly noted," Severus replied sourly before changing the subject. "You've just called me Sev. You do know what that means. Lucius and Albania will have to wait a bit." Leaning in close he whispered in Janna's ear. "I'll first have to show my lovely wife what Sev can do."
Even though it was summer break and the halls empty. They were two professors in the halls of Hogwarts. Janna held her tongue, but hurried her husband along to their rooms.
The Years Of Decisions: Chapter 13: A History Of Bad Magic
Janna was more than willing to let Sev have his way with her and had been first to remove his outer robes.
"What's this then?" asked Severus. "Is my wife taking the first hand in what we are about to do? Shall I just lay back and splay myself out so you'll have an easier time of it?"
Janna stopped what she was doing to view a submissive Severus laid back on the bed with his member standing erect mimicking a soldier at attention.
The scene in front of Janna made her moist between the legs. She was quite aroused. As she made her way over to her husband the moisture became a small stream of liquid running down her legs.
Severus held out his arms and Janna climbed on top of her wizard. Whispering soft words meant to inflame her husband she lifted her leg and pushed herself down on this erect dick.
Severus let out a loud gasp when Janna wrapped her arms around his neck and began to ride him. He moved to match her strokes and became more vocal with each one. Grabbing Janna by the hips he moved in a frenzy as she tightened her pussy riding him as hard as she could.
As they neared climax, Severus sat up and twisted Janna onto her back. Pulling her legs into the air he thrust into her like a madman telling her of the love he'd had for her all his life. With Severus' dick rubbing against her most sensitive spot, Janna felt the intensity of their sex increasing and began the pleasurable ascent into orgasm. Severus had reached his pinnacle as well but had held off taking his own orgasm until he felt Janna coming. They climaxed together and fell gasping and sweating to their own sides of the bed.
Severus was first to move as he leaned over to kiss Janna's still rigid nipples. "You are so perfect my love. I thank Merlin for you every day. Thank you."
Janna raised her hand to run it through Severus' wet yet silky hair. She was curious to know what he meant by loving her all his life. She knew Severus loved her, but was a bit upset at the same time. He hadn't known her all his life. Was he thinking of another witch while he was having sex with her? She loved him, but damn well wouldn't have him wishing for someone else when he was thrusting into her. Janna gently pushed Severus away as she brought herself to a sitting position. There was a question she needed to ask.
"Severus? What did you mean when you said you've loved me all your life? I would be happy to hear those words if we'd known each other for more than a few years. Are you having sex with me wishing to be on top of another witch? You've said something like this before and I chose to ignore the statement. Now I want to know what is going on."
Severus had been caught off guard. He hadn't been thinking about another witch. He had been calling out to his only witch. Whether she was called Lily Evans or Janna Southway. She was the only witch he had ever loved. How could he explain it to Janna? She was Lily. Therefore she had always been the love of his life. He had spoken out of turn.
Severus sat up beside Janna and had softly and firmly answered his wife. "You are the woman I love. When we are engaged in sex, it is sex between you and I. My mind is not, never has been and never will be on anyone else." Reaching over to wrap Janna in his arms Severus begged her to believe him.
"I believe you Severus, but you have made this type of comment on two different occasions. If you do not want to discuss your prior relationships, that's fine. But do not make me regret my faith in you. If you'll excuse me, I want to take a quick shower."
Severus watched his beloved as she walked across the room. The last thing he wanted was for Janna to think he had someone else. He wouldn't have anyone else ever again.
Severus cleaned himself with a cleansing charm removing the sticky residue from between his legs while thinking how he could rectify this without giving it all away.

Lucius was ready to get to Albania. He was waiting for Severus. Narcissa had been walking around with a sour face since he had spoken to her the previous night, but he didn't have time for her nonsense. He had to keep his mind on business. Serious business. Lucius would not let go of his Malfoy façade of being supremely confident, but he was worried the rumors were true. Somehow the Dark Lord had come back. It was fine to discuss, reminisce and otherwise pretend to the others the Dark Lord was coming back. When faced with the reality of the reemergence of Tom Riddle. Lucius was not ready. At the moment, his life was in order. He wielded power which he intended to keep. If the Dark Lord came back, he didn't have any way of knowing where he would land in the hierarchy of the Inner Circle. Lucius knew the Dark Lord would not stand still for any wizard having too much power. He and Severus were going to Albania not to save the Dark Lord, but to keep him from coming back.
Lucius paced the floor of his study willing Severus to appear.
"Lucius," a voice called out softly.
"Narcissa? Are you trying to make a bad mood worse? What is it you want? Leave me and only show up at this door if you are showing Severus in."
"I've done nothing to deserve your scorn Lucius. I'm trying to make amends for upsetting you last night. I will not fight with you over some low living professor because Severus has fallen in love. She doesn't fit in with our circle of friends and I will not…"
Just as Lucius turned to give his wife what for, Severus answered for him. "Well Narcissa. Now I know. I was certain you had said something derogatory to Janna last evening even though she assured me you hadn't. You think her a low life professor do you? Janna doesn't fit into your circle of friends then? Here's what we'll do. I'll keep Janna away from Malfoy Manor. In the future there won't be any reason for you to approach me in any manner. You undermine my wife to your husband for all to hear? I find your words and your manner offensive. Be assured that from this day forward neither Janna or I will seek out your company. Should you ever speak about her as you have today, Lucius and I will have to break friendship because there will be repercussions. Gender aside.
Narcissa huffed but remained silent as she pulled herself up to her full height.
Thinking his wife might say even more, Lucius growled at Narcissa to hold her tongue. Then he had turned to Severus. "Severus. My friend. Pay no mind to what my foolish wife has to say. Narcissa is upset with me which has obviously made her lose her mind. You and Janna are always welcome at Malfoy Manor."
"I'll meet you outside Lucius. I will not remain in your wife's company for one moment longer."
After Severus strode from the room Lucius turned on Narcissa. "I have told you over and over. For this period in time Severus is the only wizard I can trust." Walking directly to Narcissa so their faces were inches apart, Lucius growled in her face. "If you want to disparage Janna Snape, my suggestion would be for you to do it in the confines of your private rooms. I will not have you embarrassing me. I don't want to hear any more of this trifling bullshit. If I do, it won't be Severus you'll have to watch out for. You will give Severus time to calm down then you will apologize. Have I made myself clear?"
Narcissa stood mute as if defying her husband, but Lucius wasn't having any of it.
"You think to defy me?" snarled Lucius. "Why? Because you're my wife and think I won't take measures? The business at hand is far too important to be ruined by you. There are several witches who would like to be in your place including those vapid witches who call themselves your friends. I won't want for a wife and you'll be packed up and on your way back to the rundown hovel the Blacks call home. Choose what you want to do." He called over his shoulder as he strode from the room.

Narcissa was too furious to cry. How dare Lucius speak to her that way. He'd send her back to her father's house. She didn't think so. Not with all she knew about his business. All this because she had spoken harshly about a witch who didn't have the manners of a house elf. Narcissa really hadn't meant for Severus to hear, but he had. So there you are. She had simply been ranting at an inopportune time.
After several glasses of wine, Narcissa calmed enough to realize she had pushed Lucius beyond his limits to take cheek. It would be in her best interest to rectify the situation with Severus seeing how the position she found herself in was very uncomfortable. Uncomfortable or not, Narcissa decided to ride out the storm. Severus wouldn't stay angry forever. She remained sitting in Lucius' study until Draco came to the door requesting permission to spend some time in Italy adding that it was fine with Mrs. Zabini who had already arranged portkeys for the three of them.
"As long as Grace has invited you. You may go. Take appropriate clothing and mind your manners. Do not let Grace have to owl me about your behavior or I'll have you back here in the blink of an eye."
Narcissa went to the safe to fill a small bag with Galleons and handed it to Draco. "Enjoy yourself Draco. Owl me when you are ready to return." Narcissa gave her son a quick peck on the cheek before sending him on his way.
"Mother!" cried Draco hastily wiping his cheek. "Not only am I a Malfoy. I'm starting Hogwarts in September as well. I'm too old for your kisses. What would father think? I plan to be gone at least two weeks. I'll see you when I return."
Narcissa watched Draco as he left the study. The thought crossed her mind that he was becoming more of a ruddy little bastard with each passing day. Not unlike his father and his fathers father before him. Then she poured herself a fifth glass of wine and leaned back to savor the taste.

Severus had left Hogwarts without offering to discuss his prior relationships. His non-answer had left Janna in a bit of a flux. She wasn't trying to pry. She just wanted to know about the witch who had at one time held the heart of her husband. It was silly of her, but she wanted to know the whereabouts of the witch. She wondered what would transpire should the witch return to England.
Janna had convinced herself that the witch could not be in Britain or she would have heard something about her. She was sure Severus wouldn't cheat, but one couldn't be sure of what another witch would try to get up to.
To keep herself busy Janna decided to arrange things in the Magizoology classroom. She was deep into sorting books when Sybil Trelawney appeared at the door.
"Good afternoon Janna. It is my understanding your husband has left Hogwarts on an errand. If you are at loose ends, perhaps you and I could take lunch together. If you prefer we can have lunch sent up if you'd rather….."
Something to do thought Janna interrupting Sybil. "That would be lovely Sybil. Thank you for asking. I think lunch in the Great Hall will be fine. Shall we join everyone now?"
"Wonderful." Sybil replied clapping her hands. "We can have a nice chat over lunch."
Janna smiled at her strange colleague as she followed her to the stairs. Even if it was with Sybil. It would be nice to have a bit of company.
/*/
The two witches greeted the four or so professors who had also gathered for lunch. There was an open seat next to Dumbledore which Sybil gravitated to, but Janna beat her to the seat by seconds. Sybil very nearly sat in Janna's lap. She was so busy counting heads she hadn't realized the seat was now occupied.
When Sybil realized her mistake she had explained with a fluttering of her hands. "I didn't notice you'd taken that seat Janna. I had to count to be sure I wouldn't be the odd person at the table. Being the odd person…"
Dumbledore let out an exasperated sigh before asking Sybil to just have a seat so everyone could enjoy their lunch in peace.
The table went silent for several seconds after the Headmaster's remark with Sybil being the only person who hadn't caught the frustration in his voice.
Raising her fork, Sybil began a conversation before even tasting her first bite. "So Janna tell us. How is married life with our dour Professor Snape? Severus surprised us all you know. Those who know Severus never thought he'd ever find another love after Lily Evans chose James Potter over him." Sybil said forging ahead.
This time Dumbledore didn't even try to be discreet. He snapped at Sybil without thought. "Sybil. We do not need for you to regale us with mindless gossip. "I'm very sure if Severus was at the table you would not be discussing rumors about his life so freely. He would have stopped you at the first word. I strongly suggest you move on to subject matter that doesn't concern a professor who isn't here. If you are incapable of doing that, please leave the table."
Again, all conversation among the others at the table stopped while Dumbledore's took Sybil to task. It was apparent they all agreed with his assessment of the situation. Severus Snape was not one to gossip or hold court. Especially about his life.
"Oh! Of course Albus. I was simply inquiring…"
"YOU WERE GOSSIPING AND I WON'T HAVE IT," shouted Dumbledore. "Do you understand?"
"You've made yourself absolutely clear," said a shaken Sybil. "I think I will finish my lunch in my rooms. Good afternoon."
Dumbledore watched Sybil scurry away then offered his apologies to those still at the table. "I do not find it at all attractive to have to shout at one of my professors. At least not outside the privacy of my office," he finished with a slight smile. "However this time it was warranted. I'll excuse myself now. Please. Finish your lunches."
Those few at the table finished their lunches in relative silence only speaking to wish each other a good afternoon as they left the table.
They all wished Janna a good afternoon as well, but it seemed no one wanted to look her in the eye. She didn't think it was due to some conspiracy. It was obvious to Janna they were embarrassed for her.

Janna found herself marveling over the fact she had been wondering about this exact thing earlier. Then lo and behold it pops up as lunch conversation. As much as she wanted to know more about this Lily Evans, she was not a wife who would go behind her husband's back searching for information.
Janna had almost made it back to her rooms when it dawned on her that Sybil had mentioned that this Lily had married James Potter apparently leaving Severus in the lurch. She had heard the stories about James and Lily Potter being betrayed by their best friend and ultimately killed by the Dark Lord. But little else. Janna stopped dead in her tracks as she suddenly realized that Harry Potter was the child of Severus' former witch.
Visiting the Potter boy could only evoke bad memories for Severus. Had his life gone to plan. The child would surely have been his. Why would Severus even agree to visit the child? Why hadn't he mentioned his connection to Lily? At that particular moment, Janna just found it odd.
It was only after Janna reached their rooms she began to think other things. Things which hurt her to think about. The name Lily Evans Potter began to resonate through Janna's head. It would seem the now dead Lily had been the love of Severus' life. She was his second choice. All of a sudden. The name which had just been resonating through Janna's head a few seconds ago seemed to have taken on a solid form which was sliding icily through her body.
Janna began to shiver. She was so cold she grabbed her Muggle robe from the bathroom to warm herself. The thick robe was of little help. The love of her life was hiding information from her. Janna continued to shiver so violently she began to feel ill.
Then, as though he knew something was happening to her. Dumbledore appeared in the doorway quickly whisking her to the Hospital Wing. Calling out to Poppy as he came through the doors, Albus put Janna down in the nearest bed and pulled out his wand.
Dumbledore rarely swore, but this situation certainly warranted an off word. He uttered shite very softly as he realized another of his fail proof spells had gone wrong.
Poppy came running but Dumbledore told her he would take care of it. He told her she should go back to her office or go get herself a tea. Poppy tried to argue, but Dumbledore was adamant she do as he asked closing the curtain in her face.
He could hear Poppy huffing all the way back to her office where she shut the door with a firm snap.
No matter. He would speak to her later.
By this time, Janna had drawn herself into a ball continuing to shiver violently. Running his wand up and down Janna's body Dumbledore cast two spells in rapid succession. The first spell relieved the violent shivers. The second put Janna into a light sleep.
As he stood there cursing himself for yet another muck up, Dumbledore wasn't even sure he wanted to fix it this time. For all his posturing and back patting. The spells he had worked out to change Lily to Janna were not holding up as they should.
"Bollocks and bollocks again," mumbled Dumbledore. He hadn't taken into consideration that the first shock of hearing about her alter ego Lily in relation to Severus without preparation might set the two personalities on a collision course. He couldn't allow this to keep happening. If he kept patching the spells, it could eventually come down to the breakdown of everything he had done to give Lily a life. Dumbledore knew he had three choices to make. None being particularly palatable. One choice would break Severus. One would break Janna. The last choice would leave the Magical World at the mercy of Voldemort.
To confuse things even further. Once he brought Janna out of this episode she would appear normal until the next breakdown. For perhaps the second time in his life, Albus Dumbledore had to admit he was not as brilliant as he thought.
Albus gazed at the lovely witch lying before him. He had delved into uncharted territories with Lily because he could. He was Albus Dumbledore. Who could have stopped him? Had he been less arrogant about what he could accomplish, Lily and Harry could have been spirited out of Britain to live their lives elsewhere. But that hadn't been enough for him. Albus Dumbledore had to prove he could perform magic no other wizard had ever performed. And it had all come down to a lovely witch being torn apart bit by bit.
