Slipping away like time in an hourglass, the Arctic-esque globules bounced off of his pale shoulders and reverberated loudly from the walls. Glistening silver, the liquid needles splashed across an interlocking field of sun and night, rolling morbidly slow down her back and spine, losing track as the droplets collided with an unexpected wall of foreign flesh. Ok, so maybe taking a shower together wasn't the brightest option in the world while they were trying to keep off of each other, but so far they had managed to keep it innocent, aided immensely by the glacier's sweat, hindered further by just holding each other with such nonexistent proximity.
Never wanting this moment to end (unless the water suddenly found a way to become much more gelid), Kenny moved only to readjust the position of his head, quite enjoying the sensation of her pressed against his heart. But it was inevitable that the moment would have to expire sooner or later, although this interruption was perhaps for the best, since it could extend this period of togetherness they were currently experiencing.
"Did you know that you could be so cold and yet feel so warm at the same time?" Turning her head at just the right angle, she caught sight of those blue, blue eyes that she adored so much. "My skin feels like it wants to just shrivel up and crawl away to the first warm place it can find, but my heart feels like I could be glowing, like a star."
Unlike his little lamb with the dirtying fleece, Kenny had experienced a similar sensation to what she had been describing. "Only every other weekend."
Frowning, Hunter pulled back just enough to fix the blonde with a reproachful expression. "That's not what I meant and you know it." Cleaning up her act in these last few years, the girl had kept herself away from the hard stuff as much as she could, but she had been drunk in the past, so she knew exactly what he had been getting at.
Grinning that roguish grin of his, the blue-eyed hunk gently placed his lips to her brow. "I know. You nervous?" Hunter, living quite the different life than he had, had apparently never gone to one of Craig's parties, or even one remotely comparable. Thankfully, due to a text they had gotten about an hour or so ago, that was about to be rectified.
Thrilled as he was about the party - somewhat annoyed that Craig hadn't even mentioned the possibility yesterday when they had bumped into him and Tweek - the blonde was a bit less enthused than he might normally be, now that he had someone else to look out for. It wasn't like anyone was planning on causing her any harm, with the obvious exception of Cartman, but he knew personally just how out-of-hand the gatherings could get, and nine out of ten times, someone always ended up having a bad time. Still in the honeymoon phase where everything was all sunshine, glitter, and rainbow-spewing unicorn dicks, he was weary of the impending doom that would be their first fight: What it was and how they settled it would set the tone for the rest of the relationship.
Barely believing his own words, Kenny tried to dissuade her from wanting to go. "Craig didn't have a lot of time to prepare for this party, so it's probably not going to be that fun." Mind he didn't try all that hard.
Taking his words as more of a warning than a suggestion, Hunter merely shrugged, thinking from everything she had heard about Craig and Kenny's parties that it was probably for the best that her first outing was closer to the dud side of things. "Anything has to be better than sitting through dinner with Cartman. Besides, I don't think it's a good idea to start out rocking on expert when you're still learning how to use the equipment."
True - the less people that showed up and the faster they left, the less likely there would be a problem, although, having a crowd around wasn't a completely terrible idea... Seriously, things were just going too smoothly for them...
[South Park]
Heading over to Craig's place early was something that Kenny did quite frequently, but that was always because as co-host it was his responsibility to help in the set-up and supply, so now that he had been relegated to guest, it was strange just showing up. It was even odder a feeling to arrive an additional four hours in advance, but it was either that or fuck his girlfriend, and since that really wasn't an option either (as an added bonus, Hunter had received her monthly winnings from the gender lottery before they left), that really only left them the one alternative.
Knocking on the front door, it was Craig himself who answered (Hunter noticed that he was just in a pair of boxers and a backwards, inside-out black t-shirt), hair rumpled as if he had only just woke up, although looking at the time that they had received the text, they both knew that that was impossible. He scowled at them. "What?"
Being a friend, albeit not nearly as good of a friend as her boyfriend, it was Hunter who replied. "Dude, bad form. Fucking someone before you have a party." Obviously Craig should have waited until the party to bone whoever it was that was also visiting, unless it was someone he didn't want it getting out and around that he was shacking up with. Hmm, Kenny wondered who it could be this time...
Seriously? They arrived for the party this far ahead of schedule? When Clyde had told him and Tweek that Hunter was cutting Kenny off, he had didn't believe it in the slightest, since he knew Kenny, and Tweek had even commented after they parted ways that they were probably going to go off into some random place and have angry sex. Apparently, he owed Clyde five dollars and an apology. Fuck it, Clyde was only going to get one of those things, and he should be happy he was getting that much.
"Well at least one of us can actually have sex." Craig stood aside and let them in. Aside from the maybe thirty minutes of set-up, he had no idea what they were going to do that entire time, but considering who it was knocking on his door, the raven was almost positive that they would find something to keep themselves occupied with...
Figuring that the other boy's parents would be gone for whatever reason he didn't care about, Kenny was curious to know if Craig's sister would be there at all, since every time she was present, Craig would spend half the night chasing her around, as opposed to having fun. "So, hiding your sister from everyone, or just Clyde?"
What? More than a little flustered by how she heard that question, Hunter jerked her head up with a kind of unnatural speed. Seriously, why the fuck was Kenny asking about another girl, and right in front of her?! Wondering if he had already snapped and was looking for entertainment elsewhere, she took a deep breath, reminding herself that Kenny wouldn't do that to her, nor would he flat-out ask an older sibling if their younger sibling was available.
Obviously the only one who didn't overreact at Kenny's inquiry, Craig answered with an even more bored expression than what he usually wore, with almost no interest whatsoever in her whereabouts. "She's with my parents."
And that answered that, apparently. Hunter was slightly curious for more information than that, but not enough to ask, and Kenny guessed that Craig was glad for that fact, especially since Clyde's appearance at this shindig was all but guaranteed. It wasn't really a big enough issue that any friendships were in jeopardy, but the whole sister-kissing thing had generated some beef between the boys, and frankly, had all the excitement of a new kid in town not stolen the limelight, it might have turned into a fight. But Craig and Clyde were still cool, for the most part. It was as complicated as it was simple.
Engaged in one of the dullest games of 'Follow The Leader' ever, the couple did as the name implied and followed Craig deeper into the house. As they headed for what Hunter assumed to be Craig's room, the trio came to such an abrupt halt that Hunter walked into Kenny, who wasn't expecting that and nearly toppled over on Craig, or rather he would have, had it not been for his cat-like reflexes. The closest to the source of the noise that had stopped them all in their tracks, Hunter peeked around an overstuffed armchair and into the kitchen, although from where she was standing, she didn't see anyone.
Abandoning his job as guide, not particularly caring if they carried on without him or not at that moment, the teen skirted passed the new arrivals and entered the kitchen. Exactly what it sounded like, fallen glass littered the tile in uneven chips, the largest pieces of the glass mug already in the culprit's hands and on the way to the trash.
"S-Sorry about that, Craig." Tweek was - considering how jumpy the boy could be - usually rather good at holding on to his dishes, but the fact that Craig had let more people in the house already had startled him, so he had accidentally let the cup fall during one of his paranoid musings. What if they were there to harm them in some way? What if they laughed at them?
Seeming to read his friend's mind, Craig bent over and picked up a shard that Tweek had missed. "It's fine."
Discarding as much of the evidence as they could without using a dustpan, the spastic blonde noticed the two poking their heads into the kitchen as he turned around to look for said cleaning item. Gah! He was back to finish the job! They had parted on good terms, or so he had thought, but Hunter must have changed his mind at some point and was clamoring for his blood, refusing to stop until he saw himself dead! Eyes going wide to reflect his fears, already half forming on the tongue, the boy flinched as Hunter reached out for him. This was it, the end...
Extending her arms, grey orbs darting automatically to the floor and seeing the mess, the lone goat in a cave of lions acted upon her secondary nature as a caregiver and took up the broom, grabbing the dustpan in her other hand. Seventeen years of cleaning and it's bound to rub-off. "Allow me."
Standing back, the three boys watched as Hunter swept up the last few remaining fragments of crystalline powder, Craig musing at the fact that someone else, a stranger almost, was cleaning up someone else's mess in his house. He also wondered if Hunter was the kind of guy that insisted neurotically on the usage of coasters; Kenny's lover or not, that was just the kind of dork that got popped one. Seriously?! Kenny couldn't help but to mope about how unfair it was that he should be side-swept while Craig got his house cleaned. Tweek was just relieved to see that the unspoken agreement had been adhered to.
First and foremost, I want to thank SonicxAmy123 for the review!
So maybe I was watching Stardust again... Yeah, it's someone's time of the month. At least now that might help explain the raging stick up her ass. Dammit, why does Tweek hate me so much?! I try drawing him and have issues galore! I hit the end of this chapter, and I get the same damn thing! Well, in both instances it turned out alright, I suppose.
I do not own South Park, that's all on Matt and Trey, but I do own Hunter and the rest of the Bloodworth clan!
