Chapter 4: Toxic Wonderfulness (1/4)

"Although Batman and Robin tried to save him, Hamilton Hill's life was tragically lost after being gunned down by the infamous criminal, Roman Sionis, better known as Black Mask." Alan Thomas Wayne reluctantly listened to the news through a billboard broadcast. "Harvey Dent, although fortunate enough to escape alive, was severely injured after Black Mask tossed a bottle of sulfuric acid on his-" The boy was standing in a train station wearing dark gray slacks, black formal boots and a black turtleneck. The train that he was waiting for arrived. "Dent required emergency surgery after the incident and doctors are incapable of informing if any permanent damage can be expected from the-" Having enough of it, he embarked on the train and made his way in.

The only reason that I am taking a train, is because I needed some peace and quiet, but it seems like that is too much to ask. Despite the complete failure that was the mess regarding Harvey Dent. Alan decided to follow in his plan of going to visit and stay with his mother for a week. Batman is going to keep an eye on Harvey to see if his mental state will shatter. In truth, they had no proof whether he killed his ex-wife, despite everything pointing at him.

Finding a seat and immediately sitting down, Alan decided to ponder about everything. Hill kidnapped Gilda in order to try to use her as leverage but it backfired due to her being murdered, but Blackmask didn't kill her since he had no reason to. Harvey is the most likely as his clear mental issues plus the fact that the man that he hired was also killed in the crime scene, probably by him after giving Gilda's location to Harvey. That was his best theory, but the main problem is that, if they take Harvey's condition, he probably doesn't even remember doing it.

Alan sighed. This mess with Dent will have to stay unsolved for now. Something that really annoyed Alan because he despised leaving things unfinished. And depending on how his recovery will play out, he might become the mayor of Gotham City... That was a possibility that disturbed Alan in more ways than one.

Letting out a sigh, Alan laid back on his seat and watched the window as the train moved.

Gotham City, the city that my father hopelessly vowed to protect. Alan thought as he observed the bleakness that the city transmitted. Why don't I get this feeling anywhere else , why is it only here? Does the city attract it or is it something else? That was a question that Alan asked himself a thousand times.

Unfortunately, the answer wouldn't come today. In truth, Alan hasn't slept at all since what happened to Harvey. And his lack of sleep finally catched up to him, because he felt his eyes getting heavy. Having nothing better to do for the rest of the trip to Gateway City, Alan decided to take a nap.

Robin and Batgirl were both standing on the rooftop of the Gotham Cathedral, a monumental church in Gotham City.

"You had no right to interfere!" Batgirl yelled at him while pointing her finger at his face.

"If you weren't being careless, I wouldn't have to." Robin rebuffed calmly. "What the bloody hell were you even thinking?"

"I had a plan and it was going well until you showed up and ruined everything!" She was furious at him.

"If that was your definition of going well, I am afraid to know what it looks like when it goes wrong." Robin replied sarcastically.

"OH, YOU'RE ONE TO TALK!" Batgirl immediately retorted. "HOW ABOUT THE TIME WHEN YOU GOT YOUR ASS KICKED BY PENGUIN'S HENCHMEN!" Hearing that pissed Robin off.

In truth, it was his first year as Robin and he didn't know that Oswald Cobblepot was involved in that mess. "That is certainly a strange comparison, because you have been doing this longer than me and you knew exactly what you were dealing with, so what is your excuse for such incompetence?" He scoffed back calmly.

Batgirl just frowned in response to what he just said, but Robin was done with that and just waved her off before turning around. However, she grabbed his arm and forced him to turn around face to face. Causing Robin to frown at her as well. With the two frowning at each other for a considerable amount of time with neither saying a single word.

Until.

Both of them stopped frowning at one another and their faces turned from an angry expression to an upset expression.

Robin took a deep breath. "Sorry." apologized first.

Batgirl seemed even more upset. "For what?" It wasn't a question. "I should be the one saying that."

Robin then removed his mask and hood in order to speak to her properly. "Listen, I don't think that you are incompetent but for some reason, you are getting too emotional with this case and it is causing you to be reckless." He explained his concerns regarding her recent behavior.

Batgirl sighed in response to what he just said before she removed her cowl. "It's just... a friend of mine got affected by this case and that pisses me off so much..." She admitted to him. "We dealt with so much worse before but this..." At least she acknowledged the reason for her recklessness.

"It's okay," Alan touched her shoulder affectionately. "You don't have to explain anything to me." He was satisfied with just knowing that she was aware of it. "But please promise me that you will be more careful."

Barbara sighed once again, before she grabbed Alan into a tight hug. "I promise."

The hug surprised Alan, but it only took a few seconds for him to awkwardly return the hug. The two stayed like that for a considerable amount of time, though, it was clear that Barbara only kept hugging him because of how tightly he was holding on to her.

"Hey..." She pulled back and caressed his messy hair. "Is there something wrong?" Alan didn't respond to her, he just kept staring at her with his dark blue eyes. Like he wanted to say something but was reluctant. "Whatever it is, you can tell me." Barbara assured him as she placed her hands on his cheeks.

Alan closed his eyes for a second and decided to just do something instead of saying it. The something, was to get on his tip toes and kiss Barbara Gordon on the lips. Surprising the redhead girl, who widened her eyes in response, but made no effort to push the younger boy away. Despite knowing that it was out of nowhere and highly inappropriate, Alan didn't stop and just kept waiting for Barbara to push him away.

But she didn't.

Instead, she wrapped her arms around him and returned the kiss. It was a soft, gentle and loving kiss. It lasted for approximately three minutes, but it felt like an eternity. But once those three minutes passed, the two separated, and Alan looked down in embarrassment.

"Sorry..." He apologized with a flustered face.

She stayed silent for a bit, but eventually, she asked. "How long?"

"I don't know..." Alan really didn't. "It's just..." He couldn't think of a single good explanation for that. "I always thought that you were..." Despite having no trouble speaking before, now he was just having a considerable amount of difficulty talking now. "I think I love you, Barb."

Barbara didn't react to that, at all. "I don't really think you love me , Alan." That was her response to his sudden love confession. "What you're feeling for me is just a normal crush."

Alan looked down, mostly because she was probably right. He felt embarrassed for saying it, but the truth is, he has no idea what the difference is. "You are probably right..." He admitted.

"Hey," Barbara smiled before grabbing his chin and lifting his face up. "You got nothing to be embarrassed about." She comforted him while caressing his face.

Alan just looked at Barbara's beautiful smile for a few seconds, before he actually moved forward and attempted to kiss her a second time. However, this time, Barbara pushed him away. Which accidentally caused Alan to stumble backwards and fall on the ground.

"Shit," He heard Barbara curse after he accidentally hit the back of his head on the ground. "I'm sorry." She immediately kneeled down to check him. "I didn't mean to do that." Gently, she touched his head. He didn't say a word, instead, he moved his head up and pressed his lips into Barbara a second time when she was the least inspecting. And once again, she tried to push him away. "Alan, stop!" But he ignored her and continued to kiss her.

After a few more seconds, she stopped trying to push him away. Instead, she grabbed both of his wrists and pinned him on the floor. "I said stop!" She yelled at him angrily. "What is wrong with you!?"

Alan didn't answer right away, he just kept staring at her with his dark blue eyes. "First you kiss me back, then you push me away..." That was his response. "Make up your mind, Barb." That was the thing that annoyed him, first she is receptive then she is reluctant, it doesn't make any sense.

Barbara sighed. "Listen,we just can't do this. " She attempted to argue.

"Why not?" He asked in confusion.

"Alan, you're too young to be doing stuff like this." Barbara decided to give him an incredibly pathetic explanation.

"Would you like me to hand you a list of all the things that I was definitely too young to be doing?" He asked her sarcastically. "Because it is quite lengthy."

"You know what I mean." She spoke in clear annoyance as she let go of his arms.

"Fine," Now Alan was mad. "Then just spit it out that you don't feel anything at all for me and I will pretend that this never happened." He spoke with a frown, because he was tired of the mixed signals.

Barbara sighed once again. "Alan..."

"Say it." He insisted he folded his arms angrily.

"I can't," Barbara spoke. "Can we please just forget about this?"

"No." Alan turned that suggestion down before looking away.

"Alan, look at me." Barbara demanded. But Alan just kept looking away from her. Until she finally lost her patience and got on top of him. "Stop being a brat!" She yelled before forcing him to look at her.

But the moment he did, Alan took the opportunity and wrapped his arms around Barbara and proceeded to kiss her a third time. He just wanted one more kiss and he would accept anything she did to him afterwards.

However,

Barbara didn't push him away this time. Instead, they returned the kiss like she did the first one. But there was something different about that kiss. The first one was a simple chaste kiss in the lips, the one they were currently sharing was an open mouth kiss with their tongues touching one another. Doing that made Alan feel incredibly strange, a feeling that he could not describe. And that strange feeling caused him to do something.

As they kissed, Alan's hands found their way to Barbara's bottom. The moment he touched her there, caused her to pull back. When she did, Alan expected to either get yelled at, or be hit.

But something unbelievable happened instead.

Barbara straightened up and proceeded to remove the top of her uniform, revealing her white bra. Alan widened his dark blue eyes in response as he could not believe what he was seeing.

"Barb..." He tried to speak, but immediately closed his mouth once again. Because Barbara actually took off her bra.

"Excuse me?" Suddenly, Alan was forced to open his eyes. Catching the sight of the train's conductor.

"Yes?" Alan was quick to ask.

"Forgive me, we already arrived at Gateway City." The man informed him.

Alan moved his head to the window and saw that he had arrived already. I slept the whole way... The boy couldn't help but sigh in response to that dream. You can lie as much as you want, but I know what happened between us on that roof was the real reason for why you left, Barb. "Thank you." He thanked the conductor for waking him up, before he stood up from his seat and proceeded to move towards the exit.

Stepping outside of the train, Alan came across a considerably crowded train station, filled with people that by the looks of it, were coming back from some type of trip. He mostly ignored them and moved past the people as he was looking for someone very specific. Thankfully, it only took him a few minutes to find her. A smile appeared on Alan's face as he saw his cousin waving at him from a distance.

Cassie was wearing a blue pull-up hoodie, a red skirt and brown boots. She had headphones on her neck and had her blond hair loose. "Hey!" The moment Alan approached her, she immediately launched herself and wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled him into a bone breaking hug.

"Ah! Hey!" Literally.

"Oh, Sorry." She loosened the hug a bit.

"Better..." Alan wrapped his arms around her torso and also hugged her tight. But then he moved his head around and didn't see a very specific person. "Where is my mother?" He asked his cousin.

"Aunt Diana had something to resolve, so she told me to come greet you." Cassie explained while touching his face.

"Something or "Something"?" Alan asked if this so-called "Something" that she had to resolve was actually something that Wonder Woman had to resolve.

"I'm pretty sure that it's nothing serious." Cassie assured him.

"Okay..." He decided to take her word for it. "Can we go somewhere to eat?" Alfred told him to eat something before leaving but Alan decided to eat when he arrived.

"Sure, come on." Cassie grabbed his hand and began to pull him to make him follow her. With Alan being dragged around the station by her, he noticed that there were a considerable amount of people desinbarking from Gotham City, which makes him wonder if there are so many people wanting to get away from the city.

"So she tried to jump across the building and ended up falling, forcing aunt Diana to grab her before she hit the ground," After Cassie dragged Alan to a Diner, so he could get something to eat. She began to tell him about the mess involving Cheetah that she and his mother had to deal with. "But, it turned out to be a trap, because Cheetah wanted her to do that."

Alan was eating well-done steak and eggs with a cup of ginger ale. "Faking vulnerability and delivering a cheap shot." A classic dirty trick in combat. Honestly, both Batman and Robin are extremely pragmatic fighters, they do have two rules: no guns, no killing. Everything else is fair game for them.

Cassie was just drinking a chocolate milkshake with loads of chantilly. "It didn't work though, and aunt Diana ended up launching her through a window afterwards."

"Did you two ever figure out what exactly she was trying to accomplish?" Alan asked as he took a sip of his drink.

"Nope," She drank her milkshake. "And I don't think it matters, because whatever it was, we stopped."

"Actually, it does matter." He quickly rebuffed as he pointed the fork at her. "Because you will know what you can expect if she tries it again." Cutting his steak in small pieces with the knife and fork, Alan moved his head to look at the television. "I guess you were right, mother would probably be on the news if the "something" she had to resolve was serious."

"It's a shame actually." She finished her milkshake. "It has been a while since we teamed up."

"Don't worry, we will have a chance to do that again." He replied as he extended his hand and squeezed hers.

Cassie smiled in response. "I'm gonna hold you out for that, Wonder Boy." She called him by the nickname that she chose for him.

Alan smiled back before he took the final bite of his food. Then he cleaned his mouth with a napkin before finishing his cup of ginger ale. After doing that, he took a hundred dollars from his pocket and placed it on top of the table. "Come on." He placed the knife and fork on the left side of the plate and the empty cup on the right side.

Cassie nodded before placing her finger inside the cup to get a final drop of chantilly before placing it in her mouth. Then she stood up and hugged Alan's arm before the two walked away from the diner.

Passing through the door, Alan appreciated the clean air of Gateway City. The difference in atmosphere there was day to night in comparison to Gotham City. It was also much more lively there, with the people being much more cheerful than what you would usually see in Gotham.

Alan and Cassie walked down the street. With Cassie hugging his arm tightly. Several people stared at the two as they passed by, probably mistaking them for a couple or something. Alan always thought it was silly that someone would mistake the two of them for that, he did love Cassie, but as family.

As they continued their walk, Cassie pulled out her cell phone from her hoodie's pocket and checked something. "Wow." He heard Cassie say that, causing him to move his eyes to check what it was.

Looking at the screen of her cellphone, Alan was surprised by what he saw. It was footage of Robin taking down Black Mask 's hired Mercenaries at the back door of Gotham Theater.
"Wait?" Alan didn't understand. "How was that filmed?" By the angle, it was filmed from far away and it clearly utilized a professional camera due to the night vision.

"Someone from your fan-club probably stood by the event and waited." Cassie pointed out. "Ouch, that definitely hurts." She commented on Robin throwing a combat knife into the Mercenary's shoulder. Then she paused the video and checked the commentaries.

YES! GO ROBIN!

There were more of them inside, but that's the only footage I managed to get.

Damn, I heard he and Batman fought all the thugs before the SWAT got in.

The GCPD sucks, half of the officers were bribed to let Black Mask's henchmen take over the place.

How do you know that?!

Robin interrogates a crooked cop.

Holy shit!

Motherfuckers!

And that's our police force, no wonder this damn city is disgraceful.

The only thing keeping the city from falling apart is Batman and Robin.

Alan could only sigh in response. Despite being glad that the city trusts him and his father. He really didn't want that to be at the expense of their trust in the GCPD, though, it might be a good thing as it will allow Gordon to clean up the department and replace those crooked cops with real cops.

Cassie placed her cellphone back in her pocket. "It must have been a hell of a night." That was a. understatement.

"You can say that again." Alan agreed that was the best way to describe it.

The two sidekicks continued to move towards the end of the street. With a slight wonder of what Alan's mother was doing. Though, he had a feeling that it was something that will turn out to be important later. He just hopes that is in a good way.

"But it's like... we should really think about starting our own team, just like the Justice League."

Alan and Cassie made their way to Diana Prince's apartment. They were both sitting in the living room, watching TV.

"Don't be silly."

Cassie seriously believes that they should have their own team with a more active role in the Justice League, but Alan thinks that the idea is silly. Mostly because he already has a deep dislike of getting involved in Justice League affairs.

"I'm just tired of them always treating us as backups." Cassie spoke as she rested her head on Alan's shoulder.

"What are you even talking about?" Alan asked her with a dumbfounded look. "We are the backups." Since their primary role is aiding the actual members of the Justice League.

"Ahhh." Her response was to grunt in annoyance. "Don't you start calling us that as well." She threw a weak punch on his arm. Forgetting that a weak punch for her is the equivalent of a hard punch for him. "Oh shit, I'm so sorry!'" With her immediately figuring out and desperately apologizing afterwards.

Alan didn't react to it, but it did hurt his arm a bit. "It's alright..." He rubbed his arm after saying that.

Cassie was about to say something else. But before she could , they heard the door opening. Alan smiled right away because he knew exactly who it was.

"I'm home." She announces as she enters the apartment. Once she stepped into the living room, a smile appeared on her face. "Sorry for not picking you up at the station."

"It's alright." Alan stood up from the couch and approached her. "Hey, mother..." Immediately grabbing Diana Prince into a hug.

"Hey, my Wonder Boy." She immediately returned the hug. "I heard about what happened," She gently touched his cheeks. "How are you feeling?"

"I'm upset, because everything about that was a complete disaster." Alan was honest with her. "But I rather not think about it, at least for now." That was his wish for the moment.

"Okay." His mother caressed his cheeks with her thumbs before kissing his forehead.

Cassie then stood up from the couch and approached her aunt and cousin. "So, what was that thing that kept you from coming to pick up Alan with me?" She asked in curiosity.

"Well..." She seemed a little reluctant to tell me.

"Mother..." But Alan quickly gave her an apprehensive look, because it's bad enough that his father keeps secrets from him .

"Alright... There has been an attack at the Gateway City Police Department with several officers being killed." She explained to the two.

"Cause of death?" Alan asked.

"They were all poisoned by a toxic substance." She clearly already knows who did it .

" Doctor Poison ?" Cassie asked.

"Apparently." She was visibly sure of it.

Doctor Poison was one of Wonder Woman's recurring adversaries. A sadistic bioterrorist with a ghoulish face. Expertise in the use of poisons, toxins, and plagues. Her real name is Marina Maru, she was the second Doctor Poison, taking the alter-ego from her grandmother, Princess Maru. A Japanese Imperial Princess that disguised herself as a male, and managing to wrest control of a German Nazi espionage cell in Japan, intending to wreak havoc in the United States under the guise of "Doctor Poison".

Alan took a deep breath. "How about you relax for a bit while Cassie and I go take a look?" He suggested it to her.

"Alan, you came here to- " His mother was about to remind him of the reason why he was there. But Alan interrupted her.

"I came here to visit you, not to take time off." Alan corrected her. However, saying that, caused Cassie to look at him with a frown. "And you, Cassie." She smiled and nodded. "Besides, I highly doubt that I will be able to enjoy it in peace knowing that someone is causing trouble in your city."

Cassie then hugged Alan from behind. "Besides, I was looking forward to teaming up with him again." She approved of the idea.

Wonder Woman thought about it for a bit, before she accepted. "Alright, I'm in need of a bath anyway." The Demi-Goddess trusted her son and niece to handle that situation.

"Awesome!" Cassie was very eager. "Come on." Suddenly, the blond girl lifted her cousin off the floor and carried him towards the window.

"Hey! Put me down!" Something that Alan detested. "I hate it when you do that!" And Cassie knew it.

She replied by giving him a cheeky smile before she opened the window of the apartment.

"Be careful." His mother instructed them while waving goodbye at the two.

"We will!" Cassie spoke as she prepared to fly off the window while carrying Alan.

"Wai-" Alan tried to tell her to hold on for a second, but before he could speak. Cassie flew out of the apartment at a rapid speed while carrying Alan. "Dammit, Cassie!" Most of his annoyance is that they were flying without any disguise whatsoever. "Go higher!" He ordered her, because the higher they are, the more difficult it will be to identify them.

"Sure thing." She obeyed him and flew a little higher. Allowing him to get a good view of Gateway City from above. Once again, it only empathizes how different it was from Gotham City. Though, he has to admit, he also noticed that there are certain things that were actually pretty inferior, like the lack of Wayne Tech, which is everywhere around Gotham which is one of the things that makes it slightly superior to places like Metropolis and Gateway City. But if Alan has to be completely honest, that doesn't make up for the level of chaos that the city is in most of the time, which is the thing that makes it inferior to other cities.

It only took a few minutes for them to arrive at their destination. "There, that's the police station." Cassie stopped in the air and pointed out where the station was. It was a relatively large place that gave a more safe and somewhat organized feel, unlike the corrupt and dreadful feeling that Alan always got when he looked at the GCPD station.

"Okay." Alan saw and prepared for landing.

...

...

...

...

"What are you waiting for?" Alan asked as he was waiting for Cassie to go down.

She gave him a cheeky smile. Alan was confused for a second, until he realized that Cassie was carrying him in a bridal carry. Which caused him to frown right away, with her giggling in response to his visibly annoyance. The sidekick then decided to just leap off Cassie's arms and did a free fall. Falling in a rapid speed while performing several front flips in the air, with him reaching for a holster on his ankle which possessed a Grapple Gun, which he fired into a nearby building and used to keep himself from crashing into the ground. Wasting no time in using the momentum to swing towards the rooftop of Gateway City Police Department. An area that was clearly used as a landing zone for helicopters.

"Points for the cool entrance." Cassie spoke as she flew towards him. "Despite being totally unnecessary." She landed and stood next to him.

Alan just folded his arms and gave her a frown in response.

"Quit being so sensitive." Cassie told him while folding her arms in response. Alan looked away in response to that. Causing Cassie to approach him and hug him. "Hey..." She whispered in his ear.. "Look at me." Alan made a bored expression before moving his face to look at her. "Don't be mad..." Before she rubbed his face with her cheek.

"Moron..." Alan called her that as she continued to rub his face.

"But you love me anyway." She stated, causing Alan to blush a bit because it was true.

"Could you get me one of those?" He pointed at the group of policemen that were standing right in front of the station, as several officers seemed to be pondering on how to deal with the contamination in the building.

"A gas mask?" Cassie asked as she continued to hug him, the police officers that were nearby the station were all wearing gas masks.

"You may be able to handle the toxic with your powers but I can't." Technically he could, but he has no desire to.

"Hold on." Cassie kissed his cheek before letting go of the hug, putting her hood up and quickly jumping down from the roof. Alan waited for a minute or two, until she came back with a MSA Phalanx mask. "There you go."

"Thanks." He put on the gas mask. "Now, wait here." The officers are probably trying to figure out a way to get the toxic gas off the station in a safe way.

"What?!" She was clearly not up for the idea of waiting. "These was supposed to be a team mission."

"You may have enhanced physiology but if the gas gets to your system, it will cause damage." Alan pointed out as it was one of the weaknesses that both Wonder Girl and Wonder Woman possessed. "I'll be back, don't worry." Before she could reply, Alan made his way to the rooftop door, where Alan slowly opened the door where a strange red gas came out of it. "Stay back." He yelled at her, and she obeyed by getting as far away from it as possible before Alan made his way inside and locked the door behind him.

Alright, let's see what exactly you were doing here, Doctor Poison. Alan thought as he descended the stairs that lead to the Police Station that was filled with toxic gas.

Q AND A:

So a couple of months back Dc introduced the robot Failsafe ie Batman's contingency plan for himself so it occurred to me in this the Android shouldn't be around due to Alan in other words if anyone asked Batman you've got all these plans to take down other Justice League members should you need to but what happens if you need to be brought down

Batman would simply say Alan could take him down

Also while Batman has the plans for literally everyone think a point should be made that he has no such plan for Alan such is his faith in him

As for if Alan has his own contingency plans I'd say yes and no to make sense of that he doesn't have it write down in some file or has cases of the equipment he need to take down other heroes Alan just has how he'd beat every other hero if needed in the back of his head and the fact he's a walking arsenal he's got everything on hand that he could need

Got a idea revolving around Punchline to say in this Alexis is like a year or so younger than Alan and during the event where she meet Joker at the Tv station in this Alan has Robin was the one who saved her

Alexis still developed a interest in Joker as a role model of sorts but her obsession became Alan essentially while she wants to be with him romantically and hope will be she also wants to be his Joker

So Alan could have two crazy clown chicks that want into his pants haha and hope he can turn both in anti heroes at least

Oh and for another pet/home defence system Alan could have suggest he have adopted Dexstarr I like to think Alan finds have odd pets like a acid blood spitting cat and demon bats and Hyenas as normal as well his normal pets haha

Been meaning to say to while Alan and Clark don't have the best of relationships hope that hasn't effected the fact that Bruce and Clark are still best friends and actually since it's been a few years since the initial reveal of well Alan you could have it so Clark has gotten his head out of his ass when it comes to Alan and has tried to make overtures to Alan to try and bond with him it's just that Alan has completely rejected all these attempts

Like if Clark tried to greet Alan up on the watchtower at a meeting at best he'd get a bland hello at worst Alan would completely ignore him or he mentions getting some Kryptonite out but what I can also see is when the Kryptionians visit Superman is ignored by Alan meanwhile Kara well I see her being able to stick to Alans side haha also hopefully a good deal of flirting that Kara knows Alan actually likes haha

Another thing is when Alan goes to lead the Titans thats when I hope he gives up the Robin mantle and he adopts second super hero mantle of Crimson or Scarlet Bat

In Alans personal Batcave next to Eden that's part high tech bunker part magical sanctum part garden which I think should apply to all Alans caves even the one he'll have under Titans tower anyway in the one down at Eden or the Tower for a bit of a meme like how Batman has the T. rex in the Batcave and Ghostmaker has the Spinosaurus in his Haunt can Alan one up them both by having a Gigantosaurus in his cave

Speaking of Ghostmaker hope in this he didn't bother training his own sidekick Phantom one instead he never bothered with that kid and instead just helped train Alan simply because he felt it was a better use of his time

I hope Alans presence also leads to a fair number of other heroes moving to Gotham thanks to him like I can see Kara moving to Gotham and the likes of Raven to

In relation hope magic users mention that Alan has covered Wayne manor and eventually places like Titans tower with dozens and dozens of different types of magical defences

Been meaning to say to with Raven unlike in most versions where the inevitable invasion from her father Trigon fills her with just dread in this can she feel confident that Trigon will be defeated such is her faith in Alan she has such confidence in him that she just knows Alan could defeat her father and he has filled her with the confidence that she herself has the power to deal with her father

By the way when some of the male titans ask about Alan and all his lovers can he just joke a bit and say he's got a lot of love to give our haha

Also yep hope Alans private room has a only wear underwear or less as a informal rule haha

Back to Raven again really hope Alan already knows her hence how she gets into the Titans in this because she's one of the ones personally invited by Alan alongside the likes of Artemis etc

But yeah knowing the likes of them beforehand can help explain why Alan, Raven and Zatanna for example have magical mediation in their underwear and yeah think Raven and Zatanna are the black lacy type haha

Oh and here's a suggestion since Bruce as Alfred as his Butler figure Alan could have some maids first Black Orchid the one made by the house of mystery the other being Platinum one maid from magic one from tech as it where

Actually, everyone will immediately figure it out that this was the case with his contingency plan with Alan being the one to think that the idea is idiotic as he claims that the only way he could beat Batman would be if he let him win. (Though, he will late prove himself wrong when he faces other realities Batman's.)

Kind of

Dex-Starr will kind of hate his guts after an incident with the Lanterns.

That is literally what happened.

Partially, yes.

He will stay Robin for a bit before taking a new identity.

Well...

A little more complicated than that.

More or less, you'll understand what I mean later.

Not magical defenses unfortunately.

Sadly, she has the same dread.

He avoids talking about it as much as possible, the girls on the other hand.

He usually wears sports wear at home.

Raven yes, Artemis, not really.

That will actually happen but the context behind will be kind of disturbing.

Well...

Grandioso capitulo

Thanks

Ouch guess old Jim and his lot still have some cleaning up to do at the GCPD if half the officers sent to the debate got bribed haha

When looking out over the city and thinking about it would have liked if Alan ended his thoughts with a you know what despite Gotham being well Gotham he still loves the city have Alan be a proud Gothamite

Glad to see Alan had not issue dealing with Black Masks gunman

Speaking of Black Mask when he showed up and Alan recognised him it's weird you had him recognise him from a signature Tommy gun and you know not the Black skull mask fused to his face haha but I suppose the gun caught his eye first

Okay Romans conversation with our two mayor candidates just reall cemented the fact neither Hill nor Harvey are going to be mayor now Hill because of the whole working with one of Gothams top crime lords and Harvey due to the fact he killed his ex wife plus what happens to him later in the chapter to

By later I mean the next thing haha shame Black Mask got away and of course Harvey getting the acid thrown on him

Now I know you said Alan might have to deal with a Mayor Two Face earlier but that shouldn't happen after all Harvey becomes Two Face the moment that acid hits his face there's no period of time where he has the acid burn and can act like the old Harvey so due to reason of insanity they can't let him become Mayor also Batman and Robin are going to hand over the evidence that Harvey killed Gilda so again that will be another reason Harvey won't become Mayor so yeah Harvey isn't going from the Hospital to the Mayors office he's going to Arkam so yeah Gotham is going to have to find another Mayor because it can't be Hill and it can't be Harvey

Okay quick thing considering Bruce trained him pretty sure Alan would be prepared to fight everything including ninjas haha still that's in the past now and even if his beating of David didn't leave brain damage very least David is now more than likely terrified of Robin

With Barbara glad he just calls her Babs actually he should just call her either Babs or Barbie

For Alan's Kryptonian name even with Kara picking it I don't think she tried to ham fist it to sound like Kal El I mean Conner was given the name Kon El because it actually sounds like what Conner would be translated to in Kryptonian plus I think Kara would know her trying to give Alan a Kryptonian name is already going to irritate him and giving him one that sounds like Clarks when she knows Alan feels pretty hostile to Clark would make him even more likely to reject the name hence she should call him Al El

Don't get me wrong still being called Al El would annoy Alan and he'd still reject it but it just makes much more sense if you ask me that Alan's name translated to Kryptonian would be Al El as that actually sounds like Alan while Ken El sounds exactly nothing like his name and I don't think Kara would make it so Alan would hate the name even more by trying to make it similar to Clarks

Alan being able to resist the effects of Jokers gas could just be one of the many reasons Joker has a similar fondness for Alan as he does Bruce haha

For Ivy giving Alan the whole poison immunity treatment definitely hope when that happens she invites him to come down to Eden for the process and in relation to bases can't Alan at least have a cave next door to Eden and the Belfrey should also be in use to but you know the bat cave remains the go to home base

Oh yeah Damien only tamed Goliath because he was a baby but Alan being himself and plus inheriting Diana's own talent with animals he is able to not just take the young dragon bat but the adults to and even if Goliath himself is the only Dragon Bat in the cave at the moment Alan personally moved all the other Dragon Bats to a no location where they can be safe

Okay hope the first encounter with Lobo had the Main Man coming to like Alan maybe he got some good tips from him where to get earths finest cigars and they might have even had fun talking shit about Superman haha and even if Alan hasn't meet Crush yet hope from one reason or another she's part of the Titans from the start and also with her instead of being half human since we still don't actually know who her mother was in this why not have her be the daughter of Lobo and Sheba

Yeah turns out Sheba is the love interest of the actual Lobo and not that god awful new 52 fake Lobo that we shall not speak about or reference ever again but yeah I've not long learned this but they referenced Sheba as being with the real Lobo

With Perdita I also hope you go with her being one of the few people outside of the super hero community that knows Alan oh and the beating Alan gave Vertigo I would have traumatise the count to but yeah when looking into his fan club some more be neat if when he sees Perdita is a prominent member he's just like yeah that checks haha

If Alan takes new a moniker before he eventually takes on the Bat mantle I'd suggest Red Hood if he takes a canon mantle one of the Robins adopted and I'd have Alan's red hood costume be a mix of Jason's classic red hood outfit and the red Robin outfit so he still has a cape or if he has a new name entirely maybe he could take a title like Scarlet Bat or Red Bat

With Power Girl I'd go the clone route be nice if we got a moment where she and Alan talked about the fact both of them are well themselves is like a billion to one odds because like I said Kryptionian dna is infamously a complete bitch to work with so Power Girls existence alone with how powerful she is a unrepeatable miracle and of course Power Girl would comment Alan's existence is even more impossible than her own but yeah hope that Power Girl is already flying around

You have no idea...

Pretty much.

Not even a little.

He saw him through a wall using his Detective Vision and the first thing that it analyzed was the gun.

They don't really have proof that he did it, though everything points to him so they will have to keep a close eye on him until something comes up and they can have him arrested or sent to Arkham.

Preparing vs actually doing it are two different things. Not terrified, but Alan definitely detests him with passion.

Well...

It's a little more complicated than that.

That will actually become a plot point later.

Something like that... But I get what you're saying.

Not exactly, but close enough.

Haha, yeah...

Honestly, I can kind of see that happening.

It will be a completely original one that will be kind of a mix between Arkham Knight, Red X and Batman Beyond. I'm still deciding on the name though.

More or less.

Obrigado pelo capítulo incrível Autor-San!

De nada!

Shit. Black Mask is the one to deface Harvey. Guess that adds it up. But what I what to know is the motive, why did Bad Harv kill her for? What was happening around Gotham the whole time?
Why would Kara change her name to Power Girl? Also, go for having Karen Starr here since Power Girl is always essential for the Justice League.
U never answered my question about what year is this. Is it 2012 for them? 2003? 2020?
Please don't go adding Young Justice versions to the character roster. I would like for Earth-16 to stay in Earth-16. Otherwise, how can we have the original versions of Livewire, Mist, Looker, or Terra?
Does this fanfic need to have daughters like Crush n Vengence?
I believe Batman taught about using guns is to teach how to disarm guns to take them out of a fight.
Update soon. I want to see what happens next.

It does in a very ironic way.

Alan and Bruce are wondering the same thing.

She might be a clone just like Alan.

It will actually remain ambiguous.

Well...

Not exactly.

Pretty much, but it's stated in some comics that he gave most of the Robins extensive training in firearms despite his dislike of them.

Here we go, I hope you enjoy it.

Can we maybe get a preview of what it will be like when he finally starts using his Kryptonian powers?

Sure:

{

"You fight like a true Kryptonian." Zod claimed as he held Power Girl by the neck.

"I would certainly take that as an insult." That was his response to what Zod just said.

Zod then moved his head to the side, catching the sight of Alan. Who was slowly entering the court room. But surprisingly, the part-kryptonian was wearing an outfit that resembled Superman's, with the sole different being that his outfit was black with the symbol and cape being dark gray. He also had his dark hair brushed down.

Zod just scoffed at the sight, before letting go of Power Girl. "So... It is you... Ken-El, if I'm not mistaking."

"My name is not really important." Alan told him as he slowly stepped forward. "I may never consider myself a Kryptonian, but I view her as family and you just made a tremendous mistake in attacking her." It was true, Alan loved Karen as family, despite her coming from the part of him that he despises. The fact that they had the same origin is the major reason for that.

"Child, don't be a fool, you may be part-kryptonian, but you don't possess-" As Zod rambled for some reason, Superboy charged at him, tackling him into the wall in a unbelievable speed.

Once he collided with it, Zod attempted to attack him by punching him. Superboy easily parried by using hand trapping techniques and after deflecting six punch, he started to throw Wing Chun counter punches at Zod. Competent, but predictable. That was his opinion about Zod's combat skills.

A punch to the nose, stomach, chest, cheek, temple, jaw, ear. Those were all the areas where Superboy's counter punches landed. But eventually, Zod got tired and attempted to hit him with his heat vision. Only for Superboy to hit him with a palm strike to the lower part of his jaw, which caused his head to bounce up with the hot vision hitting the ceiling and destroying part of it.

Superboy then jumped back and the celling collapse on top of Zod. But he knew that it wasn't over, so he waited, and as Zod broke free from the collapsed ceiling, Superboy charged at him one more time, with Zod preparing himself to catch him this time. But, Superboy didn't tackle him, instead, he got behind him and wrapped his arm around his torso and lifted him off the floor and flew up. Zod struggled to get himself free, but he clearly didn't know how to escape that kind of position. Once they got high enough Superboy turned upside down and descended back down at full speed. Performing an Izuna Drop on Zod, that ended with his head colliding on the floor when they reached the bottom.

With the two of them standing up right away. With Zod once again, attempting to hit Superboy with his heat vision. But Superboy easily evaded them, with his speed and reflexes enhanced, it was practically the same as dodging bullets. He continued to dodge until he closed the distance once again and delivered a spear hand strike into his left eye.

"Ahh!" Zod grunted in pain, after the tip of Superboy's finger went into his eye.

Then he followed by delivering a hard palm strike to his right ear. Which clearly disoriented him as he attempted to punch Superboy with a sloppy right hook, that he easily block with his right forearm and delivering an back fist strike to his cheek, followed by a left spinning backfist.

Zod, finally having enough of being outmatched, decided to fly into the sky to get away from Alan. Only for him to fly off the ground after him. Despite his lack of flying experience, Superboy was able to keep up with Zod as he flew away from Metropolis. However, out of nowhere, Zod turned around and charged towards Superboy and tackled him in an absolute speed, pushing him down until the two collided into a four buildings, passing through them like it was nothing. After that, Superboy had enough of it and started to pronounce an incantation and teleporting himself off Zod's grasp with magic, leaving the Kryptonian being to crash into the ground alone.

The impact created a crater on the ground of considerable size. That only became bigger as Superboy actually flew towards Zod as fast as he could, performed a roll in the air and landed on Zod with his feet , making the size of the crater grow exponentially.

"Your fighting skills are somehow inferior to Superman's, which is odd since he is nothing more than a mere brawler and you were supposed to be a soldier." Superboy noted with a slight tone of mockery in his voice as he got off of Zod.

"You foolish boy, you h-" Before Zod could reply to what Superboy said, the part-kryptonian, performed another incantation, which paralyzed Zod into place. Then he reached inside of his boot and pulled out something.

"Shut up and swallow this." Superboy told him as he grabbed his jaw, placed a small capsule inside of his mouth and forced him to swallow.

Zod coughed in deep confusion after swallowing the capsule. With Superboy stepping back with a stoic expression. But it didn't take long for Zod to get up due to the magic that Superboy used dispersing.

"Should have finish me when you had the chance, for a second, I thought you were different from Kal-El." Zod told him in clear disappointment.

"I swore to my father that I would never kill. " Superboy replied while he stood there.

"And that shall be your downfall." Zod told him before attacking him again. "Ahhh!" By trying to punch Superboy in the face, only for him to break his hand upon impact.

"That capsule possessed artificial red sun radiation that was carefully synthesized, the same that I use to suppress my powers." Superboy explained as Zod held his broken hand. "Now you are a mere mortal, like most of this planet's habitants."

Zod realized that he was in deep trouble now and made a futile attempt to retreat, however, Superboy grabbed him before he could flee, lifted him off the ground and said. "Also, there is a big difference between me and Superman." Before he performed a backbreaker on Zod.

"AAAAAAAHHHHH!" Zod screamed in deep agony as Superboy completely destroyed his back.

"I don't have a problem with hurting my opponents bad." Superboy spoke as he pushed Zod into the ground. "Now, stay there until someone comes to collect you." Not that he had any choice, the capsule was going to suppress his powers for 24 hours, though Superboy was unaware whether his back would get fixed when his powers returned. But that wasn't his problem, he already dealt with him while wearing a outfit that he despises, so he did more than enough.

With that , Superboy flied away in order to make his way back to the court room. Completely ignoring Zod's intense pain and futile attempts to crawl away. Reaching the place in less than a minute, where an unconscious Power Girl was. Wasting no time, he lifted her off the floor.

"Mmmm..." She opened her eyes and saw him.

"You fought well." Superboy praised her.

Power Girl gave him a sad look, before hugging him tightly. "Not well enough." It sounded like she wanted to cry.

Superboy sighed, because he could tell that she was very disappointed with her defeat. "You may have lost, but you did enough damage." Which was why Superboy was able to defeat him so easily. "So take this as a learning experience."

Power Girl didn't respond, she just hugged him tighter.

"Let's just get out of here..." He had enough of that place. "Cousin."

She just nodded in response. But she didn't let go of him, indicating that she wanted him to carry her out of there.

So Superboy flew out of that courtroom, carrying Power Girl in his arms.

Context: The reason why he's acting as Superboy, was because he was forced by the Justice League (Mostly Batman) and his capabilities as Superboy are the same as Conner Kent (The reason why he can fly is due to a divine blessing). The reason he beat Zod so easily is because he just came out of a epic fight against Powergirl and he underestimated Alan (Who's superior to him in terms of hand-to-hand combat).

Yes, Alan's relationship with Karen is the polar opposite of his relationship with Kara.
