Ian glared as Arthur ignored him the next morning. It was obvious that the younger of the two was ignoring him. He wouldn't look at or talk to the red head. "You can't ignore me forever."
Arthur yawned and sipped his tea as he read over his French homework.
Ian felt his eye twitch slightly. "I'll stop pestering you, you brat if you just tell me who that girl is!" The Scott crossed his arms and glared harder, as if trying to intimidate the younger Brit. Arthur twitched slightly but continued to ignore him. The teenager stood up and placed his empty coffee cup into the sink and headed to the door, homework shoved into his backpack. He was sure to slam the door behind him as he rolled his eyes. 'I think I liked it better when he was less interested in my life.'
He began the walk to school.
~Time Skip To Lunch Time~
Arthur waved as he passed by Lukas and Vladimir, the Norwegian dragging a taller blonde to sit with him and their Romanian friend. He made his way into Francis's classroom and knocked softly. "Entrez," Francis's French accented voice rang out from behind the closed door. Arthur blushed softly but shook his head and put on a small scowl before entering the room.
Francis looked up and grinned at the teenager. "Bonjour mon cher," the Frenchman said before turning back to erasing French words off the board. "Go on ahead and sit anywhere you'd like. I'm nearly finished."
The Brit did just that, sitting in a desk in front of Francis's. He pulled out his sandwich and bit into the peanut butter and jelly sandwich and stared at Francis. "You missed a spot, Frog."
The blonde man looked around the white board. "Where?" Arthur pointed, "Right there. No, higher." Francis reached up higher and began to erase the already blank board. "Higher." Arthur stared at Francis's backside as the older man stood up on the tips of his toes.
"Is it gone yet?" Arthur tilted his head and didn't look up. "Nope, just a smidgen higher." Francis huffed and turned to face Arthur. "Are you being serio- are you... Were you looking at my ass?" Arthur blushed and choked on his sandwich slightly. "Oh please! Don't flatter yourself Frog."
Francis raised an eyebrow and crossed his arms across his chest. "I'm sure, cher. And aren't you too old to be calling people names?" He smirked as Arthur blushed and looked away as the teen remembered when Ian had said the same thing. "I bet there's nothing on the board at all, right?"
Arthur glanced at Francis and smirked. "You were dumb enough to believe me." He said simply. Francis rolled his eyes. "Oh mon cher if you wanted to look at my ass all you had to do was say so!~" Arthur blushed and threw his balled up napkin at his teacher's face. "Shut up Frog!"
Francis laughed and sat on his desk. "Hmm..." He tapped his chin as he picked up his apple and bit into it. "I need to come up with a nickname for you."
The British teen tilted his head. "Why?" Francis grinned. "If you're going to insist on calling me 'Frog'," he rolled his eyes and scoffed, "then I need a name for you." Arthur watched as Francis tapped his chin in thought. "How about 'vous êtes ennuyeux'(you're annoying)?"
Arthur raised an eyebrow and scoffed as he bit into his sandwich. "I don't know what that means." Francis leaned forward slightly, "Well maybe if you wouldn't doze and daydream in my class you would know." Arthur glared. "Just tell me what it means."
"Say please~" Francis teased. Arthur sighed but complied. "Please tell me what that means." "Hm... Say please in French." Arthur huffed. "S'il vous plaît tell me what that means?"
Francis grinned. "It means, 'you're annoying'." Arthur stared at the Frenchman, slightly annoyed. "That wasn't funny." Francis laughed loudly. "I thought it was rather clever," he said cheekily as he threw away the apple core. "You know, I think it is so sexy when you speak my language." Francis said dismissively.
Arthur raised an eyebrow and stood up to throw away his own trash before stopping to stand in front of the taller man. "Is that so?" He glanced to Francis's mouth. 'So close.' Francis nodded. "Even though you do butcher it with your terrible accent." Arthur just stared at the laughing Frenchman. "I'm going to kill you." He said simply.
The elder man just laughed harder. "Sure you will cher. Ow!" He laughed harder as he rubbed his arm. Arthur huffed. "Okay, perhaps your accent isn't that terrible!" Arthur scowled and thought back to some of the words he'd read in his English to French dictionary to say to shut up the laughing Frenchman. "Je veux vous embrasser(I want to kiss you)!" He said, grinning in triumph as the blonde stopped laughing and a small blush began to form on his cheeks.
Francis rubbed the back of his head sheepishly. "I don't think you know what you said." Arthur rolled his eyes, Francis staring into his eyes and memorizing the shade of green they were. "I know exactly what I said." Francis just blinked. "Well I think I know... I can't understand the language all that well honestly." Francis smiled softly at the now embarrassed Brit. "What do you think you said exactly?" Arthur flushed. "I uh... I want to, maybe, possibly, kiss you?" His statement came out sounding more like a question.
The Frenchman closed his eyes slightly. "Say it one more time Arthur," he whispered softly. Arthur blushed but complied, the words barely out of his mouth before Francis's mouth was on his. He quickly melted into the kiss, arms slowly wrapping around Francis's neck.
The two pulled away from each other and just stared at the other's eyes. Francis reached up to play with some of Arthur's messy dirty blonde hair and was about to kiss the teenager again before the door burst open. "Francy pants are you alm- if you two are going to do this you may want to lock the door!" Gilbert whisper shouted, pulling Antonio into the room and slamming the door shut, locking it.
Antonio shook his head and tsked before laughing at the two blondes's ghostly pale faces. Francis sighed but didn't move to push Arthur away from him. Likewise the teenager didn't attempt to move away. "What do you two want exactly?" Arthur huffed, face turning red, either from embarrassment or anger, Francis didn't know.
"We always eat lunch together." Antonio explained. Arthur sighed. "Plus we wanted to see if Francis had any awesome ideas planned for Halloween yet! Kesese!" Gilbert laughed out, pulling a desk closer to Francis's.
Francis facepalmed. "I totally forgot about Halloween! What do I do?! I have to take Matthieu to get a costume! And find safe places to take him trick or treating!" Francis began to mentally plan when he was going to do everything. Gilbert grinned and began to wave his hand in the air. "Oooh ooh! Pick me! Pick me French fry!" Francis sighed but nodded at the self proclaimed Prussian man. "I'll take him trick or treating! Maybe I can get some candy too!"
Arthur rolled his eyes as the three language teachers laughed loudly. "We should have a Halloween party!" Antonio said loudly. "It'll be fun! We can have Lovi, Feli, and Ludwig there! You should come to Arthur." Arthur looked up in shock. "Uh sure. Thanks." Francis grinned.
Gilbert snapped his fingers to get their attention. "But everyone has to wear some sort of costume! And bring candy. What?" He asked as everyone stared at him. "I like candy."
A/N: yeah so I remembered that it was around mid October ish around this time so I decided 'why not! Let's make it Halloween time!' Also I have a nice idea forming for the actual Halloween chapter. Sorry that this was mostly filler but I really like writing Francis and Arthur flirting together. It's entertaining for me. I can't wait to have Gilbert take Mattie trick or treating, how bout yall?! I feel weird for writing Halloween in March but whatever. Thanks to the favs, reviews, and follows! Ya'll rock and Mattie send you virtual pancakes!
