I'm fasting guys with Silvia! Wooohoo! We will be fasting for an entire month :3 I have to say though that Ramadan is keeping me busy from writing xD
You are free to chop me to piece lol I have no excuse for this late update. I'll put a sign that says "Update on time" in my room so whenever I pass by it I see it LOL
Chapter 13
It was chaos. The Nura clan Executives were arguing about the last incident that jeopardize their peace.
"We need to execute her!"
"No, we should confiscate her and then get information on what's her motivation is."
"I heard she is mute! How will we be able to gain information if she can't speak?"
"We have other ways."
The chatter of what they should do to her filled the room. Rikuo sighed from behind the door. He still haven't announced his presence.
"Gramps!" He gave a hopeless cry. His grandfather wasn't helping him at all. He said it was his responsibility to overcome this trial by himself but he just became a supreme commander! As much as he wants to deny it, his grandfather was right. He needed to overcome this by himself no matter what.
He gave another sigh while thinking of all the events that had occurred these past few days deeply. He wanted to save her... No, he would save her. He won't give up on her without a proper explaination.
With his never dying resolve, he entered the assembly room and took a seat as the leader of the Nura clan. Everyone waited for him to start the subject.
"Give me a month. I'll try to find a solution to this problem." He suddenly declared.
"A month? That is too much! We can't wait that long." Hitotsume knew that having Rikuo as the third head would be a problem. He was still amateur in his eyes.
The others nodded their head in agreement. This situation can't drag on for that long! It needs to be finished as soon as possible.
"We should give him a chance." Mokugyo Daruma said. He was picked by Nurarihyon himself so he should have some fate in him.
"Then how about two weeks?" He shorten the time for them.
"We still can't wait that long!" Hitotsume again opposed.
"I think it is suitable time." Gyuki replied, not bothered by the request. He knew Rikuo will be able to solve it if they gave him the chance.
Zen and Shoei agreed with him immediately, waiting for a response from the other clan leaders. In the end, they all came up with an agreement even though Hitotsume disapproved of the idea greatly.

He gave a frustrated sigh about everything that happened. They didn't have any lead on what was going on, which is bad. He wanted to solve this as soon as possible too but nothing was working out. The last time he felt so hopeless was his first fight with Tsuchigumo and he didn't want that feeling to surface again.
"Rikuo-sama" He recognized Zen's voice. "Can you help me for a second?" He asked.
"What is it?" He curved to him curiously.
"Kana Ienaga is the problem." He indicated him to enter. "I can't get anything done when she is pushing me away."
He saw her sitting in a corner in a defense way. Her facial expression softened when she saw him. She quickly stood up and ran to him happily.
"Look, she only trusts you. That is why I need your help." She have violently attacked him when he tried to get anywhere near her. This can't go on forever.
Rikuo understood what he needed to do, so he held her down and spoke softly to her.
"I want you to cooperate with him. He is someone I trust so he won't hurt you." She furrowed her eyebrows and shook her head in fear. She didn't trust anyone... they all wanted to kill her and for that, she didn't want them to be anywhere near her.
"I really need that test." Zen informed him or more like pressured him.
Rikuo sighed for the umpteenth knowing there was no way out of this.
"Don't worry, I'll be with you." He smiled and signaled Zen to start. Upon the sight of the syringe she cringed in fear. She looked at Rikuo in fright, hoping he would save her.
"It's okay." He assured her with kind eyes. She relaxed at his presence. She didn't want to betray his trust so she listened.
The shot was done swiftly that she barely felt anything.
"Good job." Zen praised while looking at the blood that flowed on the container. If his theory was right, he might find the secret to what is going on.
"Do you need to do something else?" This question broke him from his trance.
"I don't think I would need your help after this. I'm sure she will cooperate with me." He gave her a scary gaze that made her shift uncomfortably toward Rikuo.
"Hahaha." He gave an awkward laugh, noticing that gaze too. She wasn't the only one that was affected by it.
He quickly changed the subject."Are you going to ask some her questions?" He wondered.
Zen shook his head."I may be a doctor but not a psychiatrist. I don't have the patience and time to ask unnecessary questions about someone health." If he took such jobs, he would just make the patient disorder worse because he would be yelling and making a fuss about their problem.
Rikuo sweat dropped at what he said. That was not what he meant but it didn't matter. "So I can go?"
"You are free to go." He was about to leave but was abruptly stopped by a tug at his sleeves. He looked at the girl who was shivering sightly.
"You can trust him." He reassured her that Zen won't do anything to her and then left after that to attend to some important stuff.
"RIKUO-SAMA!" A loud shout was heard.
"Ao..?" He mumbled and searched for him.
"RIKUO-SAMA!" The monk was running around, looking for his master hurriedly to tell him the big news they found. He stopped running when found Rikuo.
"What's wrong?"
"W-we found K-Kei Desentes!" Ao held his knees while panting.
"That was faster than I thought." He admitted it. "So he is in Tokyo?"
"Yes."
"Where is he?" He asked. "I want to give him a visit."
"We will accompany you." He and Kurotabou- who was leaning on the wall quietly- replied in unison. Rikuo gave a nod of approval and said, "Lead the way."
"Hai!"

Awashima and the rest of the Tono Village yokai decided to join his journey. It didn't take them long to reach the base when a group of yokai ambushed them. Those yokai where easily defeated by Rikuo's clan members.
"We are not here to fight." Rikuo raised his hands to show that he meant no harm even though he did attack them just a minute ago.
"State your business!" A tall yokai set his spear in front of him in a defensive way.
"I came here to meet your leader." Rikuo replied without missing a beat.
The yokai was confused and scared. What did the famous Nura clan want from them?
"Why?" His hoarse shout told them they were unwanted.
"It's personal." He was not affected by the weak yokai in front of him. Who would when his legs were shaking?
The yokai was about to say something to him but was interrupted by someone .
"What's wrong?" The subject of their interest was walking toward them with his hand in his white coat pocket.
"S-Sir!"
Rikuo observed him with calculating eyes. The man had straight black hair that naturally fell across his forehead making him look very young, probably in his early 20s. His blue eyes didn't hesitate from complementing his looks either.
The white coat that had specks of dry blood told him he may have been in a surgery and finished in a while.
"Hmm so you are telling me the famous Nura head wants to meet me." He smirked. "I wonder why." He looked at Rikuo with cold eyes.
"Can I come in first before I address the issue for coming?" There were a lot of protests but they were silenced by a single hand.
"You can come in." He signaled him to get inside to some underground base. The place odour was filled with alcohol, cigarette smoke, and blood mixed together, giving you a terrible smell that kills your nose. The scent suddenly changed to a disinfectant one when they entered a specific room.
Kei took a seat on his chair and told them to seat in front of him.
"So, why the sudden visit Nura-san." He narrowed his eyes at the unwelcomed guest. Did they finally find out that his little friend was here and came for revenge?
"I want your help." Rikuo went straight to the point.
"Wha-at?" He was taken off guard by the reason.
"I need your help." Rikuo repeated. Kei got over his shock and rested his cheek on his palm. The thoughts of how Beyond would have reacted invaded his mind. If he heard this, he would laugh like the crazy guy he was.
"May I ask what kind of help do you need?" He raised an eyebrow, seemingly uninterested when he was dying to know what reason other than the one he thought could have been.
Did they find out my plan?
He kept his composure well when deep inside he was worried. There is no way they could have found out that soon.
"I have a friend that is sick... and I wanted to know if you could heal her." Rikuo answered carefully.
"Hmm." He smiled creepy. "What do I get in turn?"
This was a tricky question. If he recklessly said anything he might get an impossible task.
"It depends on your request." Rikuo answered smoothly.
"If I said I want your heart, will you give it to me?" There was a dangerous glint in his eyes.
Both Ao and Kurotabou stood up in alert at his request while the rest stayed silent.
"Rikuo-sama would never-"
"I would."
"Give yo- wait, what!" Ao did a double take at what he said.
"Rikuo-sama.." Kuro looked worriedly at his leader. The two heads were in a staring battle, trying to figure out what the other was thinking.
"You passed." Kei took out a couple of files from his drawer. "That is not what I actually wish for but don't worry, it is nothing impossible."
Rikuo smirked at this. He guessed he decided to work with them.
"So what is her problem?" He acted like he never knew what was wrong with her.
"She is mute." Rikuo gave him the basic information that a doctor needs to know.
"I'll see what I can do. I'll come by your house tomorrow morning to check on her." He went through to some papers hurriedly to distract himself.
"You can heal her?" Rikuo wanted to make sure he can.
"It depends on what is wrong with her." Kei replied professionally. "If the problem actually lies in her throat or if it could be something else..."
It seemed like he knew what he can do.
"I'll meet you tomorrow." Kei stressed out the word tomorrow to indicate them that he wanted them out.
"Thank you for your time." Rikuo was grateful for the help he will get. He stood up and got out with his clan members following him quietly.
Kei turned his chair around and gazed at the wall with hatred. It was hard to pretend that he would actually help him. The images of what the Nura clan did to him never left him.
"Kei!" A long brown haired girl with chocolate eyes exclaimed loudly. The black haired boy watched the girl he loved skip to him happily. His smile soon turned into a frown when she slapped his arm.
"Why didn't you tell me you graduated medical school yesterday?" She crossed her arms.
"I was tired?" He came up with an excuse that was actually the truth. Her anger evaporated to happiness in a second.
"You're finally going to be a Neurologist!" She clapped her hands excitedly while jumping up and down. She fully supported his dream to save people lives.
The 28 years old guy didn't express his happiness the way she did but he really was happy that he was finally going to achieve his dreams. Just a few more years and he will officially be a doctor.
"Let's go on a date."
He smiled and agreed. It had been a long time since they had one.
"Did you get fat?" He asked looking at her stomach that had grown a bit large over the months.
"What a jerk." She smacked him on the head and stomped away.
He chuckled and followed her. "I have something important to tell you on this date."
"What is it?" She curiously asked.
"It's a secret." He teased her.
"Ya!" She almost smacked him again but he dodged it, running away.
"Come here!" She chased after him.
The date
So what did you want to tell me?" Yuki asked, looking around at the empty park worriedly.
Kei just continued to drag her silently till they reached a dining table that had candles and flowers on it.
"Ladies first." He pulled her chair for her to sit even though she told him multiple times that he didn't need too.
She took a seat and waited for him to talk but he steered the subject to something else.
"Eat." He told her awkwardly. She frowned but complied with what he said. She took a mouthful bite of her favorite type of cake which was cheesecake.
"Yummy!" She merrily hummed and took another one just to feel like she lost a tooth. She quickly took out what she thought was a rock out of her mouth. Her eyes widen in surprise when she saw a diamond ring instead.
"Will you marry me?" He knelt down while saying the words that any girl would want to hear.
She sat there shocked, trying to process what he just said. She was startled back to reality when fireworks lightened up the sky. It was a beautiful sight but she couldn't pay attention to it after what he said.
Her tears of happiness fell. "I will!" She took him into her embrace immediately.
"I love you, Yuki." Kei whispered to her ear.
"I love you too!" She whispered back. She broke the hug and decided to tell him something.
"I want to tell you something too." She hesitated in nervousness.
"What is it?"
"I'm... Pregnant..." She told him. "I'm pregnant with your child." She closed her eyes, scared of his reaction. At first he was shocked but it soon turned into joy.
"I'm the happiest man alive." He shouted to the sky loud and clear.
Her tears were hard to surpass with his words so instead she thanked him.
"I should be the one who should thank you." He slowly lifted her shirt to see a round stomach.
"This is our baby..." He gently laid his hand on it and unconsciously, a smile crept up his face. The thought of a happy family blessed his thoughts.
"And you thought I was fat." She joked.
He chuckled at that. He should have known since he was a doctor.
"I could have swallowed that ring by accident, you know." She giggled, still making jokes out of the situation.
Their laughter was soon interrupted by a malicious laugh.
"Look what we have here." Someone or should he say, a monster pointed out.
Kei quickly went in front of Yuki to protect her.
What are they? He never saw a single human being looking like that.
"Remember what Rihan-sama said, 'Kill any humans you can see.'" What seemed like the leader of the small group, grinned.
"I won't let you hurt Yuki!" He shouted in defense. He didn't know what they are or what they can do, he only knew he needed to get out of here.
"Yuki, when I say run you run." He whispered to her, still facing in front of him to see if they would make a move. He waited for a response but he got none. He frowned and looked behind him. She was nowhere to be found.
"Yuki!" He panicked, desperately looking at his surroundings.
"Are you looking for her?" The yokai smirked, covering the scared girl mouth tightly.
"Yuki!" His eyes widen in horror. When did he get her?
"Let her go!" He sprinted to rescue her but was pummeled to the floor harshly by one of his comrades. The overweight yokai sat on his back comfortably making Kei feel like a huge bounder of rock crashed on him. He could barely move a muscle.
"Let Tenchin-sama do his job." The guy on top of him said.
"Let her go!" He screamed helplessly.
"Watch me kill your beloved." Tenchin once again laughed when he saw the pathetic human in front of him struggling to save her.
"I'm sorry but I'm under Rihan-sama orders to kill humans." He took out a knife and pointed it at her stomach.
"No! Stop! Let her go!" His eyes widen in horror when he stabbed her in the guts. Her screams of anguish were heard alongside Kei's.
He closed his eye calmly and rewound the scene where she was butchered to small pieces. Her screams for help haunted him every night and he may never admit it out loud but he was scarred for life. One that can never heal even if a century passed. He lost his wife. He lost his unborn baby. He lost everything that night and it was all Rihan's fault. He deeply regretted not getting his revenge on him. He died before he got the chance to kill him with his own hands. He died before he got to see his face twist into desperation and pain. He wanted him to feel the pain he went through but sadly, his wish never came true. As for Tenchin, he already got his revenge on him. He made him feel pain that was one hundred times worse than the pain his wife felt. He was a doctor who knew the human body very well and since Tenchin was a yokai, he couldn't easily die from pain like most humans.
He took pleasure in every single second that passed with that monster begging for his life. One of the reasons he loved being a doctor so much but at the same time, hated it. He was a doctor who was supposed to use his knowledge to save lives not kill one. He wanted to quit his job because he couldn't save her but until he got his revenge, he won't quit yet.
He took his phone out and dialed a phone number. The person on the other end quickly picked up his phone.
"Silk, we will be visiting the Nura clan tomorrow. Tell Beyond to put our plan in action."
"Hai!"
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
This chapter was supposed to be about Kana meeting Kei but I decided to give a background story on why he hates the Nura clan. (And as you can tell I suck at writing romantic scene.) I just purely hate this chapter. One of the worst I've ever written. Words can't explain how I feel about it that is why it came really late.
XxThe-Crest-Of-AnubisxX: You are back! Where have you been? I thought I would never see you xD and yes she died ;-; Lots of thing will happen now.
a random person: LOL I didn't expect a new reader... I will see what I can do. I killed her because *dramatic pause* I thought it would be fun.
Awesome D.T: Yup, she is gone. Nope XD You think anybody would believe her after she killed their comrade? Itaku and the Tono village yokai haven't really grown close to the Nura clan yet since we are talking about after the 2nd season.
Yeah! I brought the old enemy back!
Lord Nayrael: LOL you are the only one who is not at all affected by her death.
Does it even matter? XD
It is expected.
Rikuo, your trust is cute so YES! just YES!
Hmmm true.
lmao but a small knife wouldn't really kill him instantly so...
They don't know that he hates him. You think they would go to him if they knew?
Hyaku Monogatari Clan? I'm guessing that painter guy clan. Count me in!
Gold Moonlight: XD It shows that he never learns since she have already tried kill him twice now.
That banner part! LOL She should.
My man is back.
Fede194: I like it too.
Itaku did it for something like that. Yup, from bad to worse indeed.
vampireprincess: Oh your back too O.o Why thank you! :3
Next chapter though :3 It would be Kei and Kana meeting! You can imagine how bad it will turn out :P
