Recap Final
Soren, Mia and all their allies, comrades, friends have lost and gained much to get to this point. But the finale is set.
Midnight Controlled Numengate is sealed off by four Midnight Towers in the surrounding nations, the strategy: Divide and Conquer.
After burying their dear friend Orgoth the teams set out.
Soren and Mia's team tackle the Grove Tower.
In their final battle with Kanahana they learn that Wyre came to Ymarkteg seeking Kanahana to exact his revenge. The vampire killed several of Wyre's friends including his wife Shae. Grief-stricken Wyre transformed himself into a vampire.
Upon killing Kanahana, Wyre refuses to take blood from his friends to save his life and instead allows himself to die to be reunited with his wife.
The Desert Tower team led by To'Eltz encounters Ushnae and learns the truth about the Royal Ring: Mistress, Duke and Heirarch are pieces of the Fell Lord that became self-aware but work for their own goal not acknowledging their own creator.
Ushnae also reveals that the Apothecary was the 4th offspring of the Fell Lord and took up rescidence in Nias. Ushnae decided the world they created was too flawed to allow it to continue and recruited the Apothecary, killed his former comrades Mazear and Ulmeihn and aided in the founding of the Midnight to bring a new cleaner vision to not only Ymarkteg but the world.
In the East, Mikel and Leena's Stone Tower team come to blows with Asai Versha of the Midnight. She also reveals a rather massive revelation: Janie's parents were believed to be Night Shade so they were killed by Versha and Pesh.
Stricken Janie finds herself unable fight until Gatrie's words break through to her; however the Marshall is mortally wounded. Unintentionally calling Goetia to her, Janie realizes that she is Night Shade and using Goetia she kills Asai Versha.
She also learns that Freen's spirit now lives as part of Goetia. Though Gatrie dies of his wounds leaving the now, newly christened Elder Sage of Ymarkteg to carry the fight for him and the other Sages…
Up north Ike's group enters the Frost Tower where Ike leaves his team to deal with Midnight 2 while he faces the man who wields Alondite: Norad Jyuugo.
Prior to the battle Jyuugo was visited by Zelgius, the Black Knight and Altina who sought to break through his shell and find out who he truly was. Altina even asks for Ike's aid in learning Jyuugo's secret.
The only thing they managed to learn is Jyuugo was a valiant knight of Archanea fighting in the wars for rule of the continent though whether he fought for the legendary Hero-King or the dark forces of a dragon and a corrupted once-ally will never be known as Ike struck Jyuugo down.
The truth behind the 4 Towers however was not to shield Numengate but to use the Fell Lord's power as well as the Black Emotions of Bloodlust, Anger, Pain, Memory to revive Gashuuka, Telray, Drake and Meltraitis: the Fell Lord's Students.
With the exception of Drake whose existence was destroyed by Janie the other three revive and return to their Lord's side.
With the wall down and the nations united the Continental Invasion of Numengate begins. Soren, Mia, Mikel and Leena's two divisions of the New Emissaries join the Anondye Army while To'Eltz's division approaches within the Sarharan Army. Ike's division travels parallel to the Regalshin Army as they near the Midnight Bastion.
The war begins and slowly the New Emissaries join together. Realizing the true threat is the Fell Lord; key members of the New Emissaries break off and enter the Midnight Bastion.
The Finale begins now with the war raging outside of the Midnight Bastion foes like the Altar's Peltzm'Jakq and assassins Taer'Vix and Org'Eeris threaten lives. The Royal Ring's Mistress, Duke and Heirarch's plans near completion and even the Fell Lord's own students will reak havoc on the battlefield.
All the while Soren, Mia and their closest allies fight their way through the Midnight Bastion. In their way: Midnight 2, Midnight 1, Headmaster Kino, Ushnae and the Midnight's Apothecary all protecting the dark force that started the chaos: The Fell Lord.
Many grand battles will be fought and many warriors on both sides will die, all for true peace not just in Ymarkteg…but the world.
I do want to give you all one warning about Finals Week.
Between tomorrow and Sunday 29 Characters Die the number includes not only the side characters that populated the story but also many main characters, heroes and villains alike. Get ready.
