Looks like Summer gonna be a BANG! With chapter 6 up, I can definitely say that I am getting more and more active each day. Now, I'll give you a little spoiler in this one: No action is involved in this chapter. Rather, this is more of a moral establishment between Speckles and Junior. That way, I want a more emotional connection towards the two tyrants and that would make the story more and more reinforced. Also, I'm not making an action story. Rather, the story is more to do with Speckles and Junior and how would the two get along with each other. And yes, there will be a time skip in this story, but before a few skirmishes between Speckles and a few other enemies (Especially Streaker and Tyrant). Anyway, I hope you'll enjoy what's gonna happen in this :)...

Chapter 6

Plea

Speckles Junior squeaked happily as he waddled around the pool, playing with a small school of freshwater fishes while trying to catch and chomp one. Using his small, stubby feet, Junior dived into the water, for the first time, he experienced what it feels like to be underwater. Excited, Junior jolted towards the fishes, his mouth wide open. As soon as he reeled in closer, the young, bashful Tarbosaur lifted his mouth and snapped his maw towards the fishes, taking in two. He then swan above and broke out of the lake, munching up his caught prize.

Besides the pool, Speckles had kept watching upon his son the whole time. Slightly twitching his four fingers, Speckles growled calmly as he made his way towards the lake. Meanwhile, his son had already left the water to reunite with his father. The little infant yelped happily as he told his father that he had learnt to swim underwater. Speckles lowered his head towards Junior and licked him on his muzzle. Junior felt irritated and flopped below the dirt while screeching loudly. As soon as his father stopped licking, the little dinosaur got back to his foot and ran towards a nearby meadow of magnolia flowers. As small insects buzzed around Junior, the Tarbosaur ran around the flowery fields while jumping around playfully. Speckles on the other hand turned his head around towards the sun. It was the afternoon. By this time, most dinosaurs were active and noises were very plentiful. Having spent enough time looking after Junior and needing to move on, Speckles howled towards his son. Alerted, the little dinosaur stopped and ran back towards his father. A bashful Junior lowered his cranium and bashed into Speckles's foot. Dazed, he once again fell to the floor. Grunting adamantly, Speckles left the pond to head out towards a faraway mountain. An ever-so bashful Junior followed him to the forest.

As father and son made their way through the lush, heavy vegetation, Speckles stopped for a moment before glaring his dark yellow eyes towards his son's cerulean blue eyes. After all, he was the only one out of his children to inherit his mate's eyes. Growling softly, he pointed his muzzle towards Junior. Oblivious, the infant Tarbosaur squeaked nervously as Speckles finally grunted loudly. Frightened, Junior fell to the floor, but by no means was Speckles going to kill him. After all, he was his son, his only remaining family and the main reason why he must continue on with his life. The Tarbosaur then lifted himself up before closing his eyes. He was clearly reminiscing about his mate, Blue Eyes. The predator then grunted loudly, openly lamenting that if it wasn't for Blue Eyes, he probably wouldn't be alive by now and he would never have met children back then. He also remembered his old family who taught him how to live like a predator and how to act like a king. But suddenly, Speckles opened his eyes and roared furiously, freezing Junior and leaving him traumatized. He was clearly remembering One Eye, the one who left him with a distressed past. He largely blamed him for giving him the life he never wanted, even when he WAS the sole reason he had met Blue Eyes from the beginning. He roared again, this time, remembering Blue Eyes and his daughters' deaths. He shook his head violently, thinking of himself as too weak back then and considered himself a pathetic dinosaur. However, his carelessness had already taken too much. He accidently bashed his cranial towards a nearby tree. Roaring in pain, Speckles stumbled a few steps back. A flock of startled birds flew away, blanketing the high canopies for a short. Once Speckles had recovered, a streak of red blood ran through his left snout and dripping to the ground.

Startled, Junior yelped as he trembled in fear. Upon recovering, Speckles started to approach his son. Scared, the little Tarbosaur tried to run, but his feet wobbled and tripped to the ground due to fear having taken effect on him. Finally laying his foot close to him, Speckles lowered his head towards Junior, who closed his eyes, fearing death. However, Speckles stopped immediately. His little fingers vibrating out of depression and his eyes started to daze. His jaws wobbled and his growls started to muffle more and more louder. He couldn't take it anymore. Speckles howled desolately before he collapsed to the ground. He only thing he looked upon was his son. Adamantly, Junior walked towards his father and licked him at his muzzle. A gloomy Speckles growled towards his son, openly expressing his love for him and that he would always protect and care for him, even if the two were to separate. Understanding his father, a despondent Junior howled loudly, stating that he will always love him and that they would be together no matter what and forgives him for what happened in the past. Happy that his son understood him, Speckles growled weakly, expressing that he loves Junior with all of his heart and protect him till the very end before he passes out due to fatigue. Relieved, Junior nods his father's muzzle one last time before the little tyrant lays down towards his father's arms and slowly drifts away to unconsciousness.

With only a few roars and growls, the two had established an everlasting plea towards each other for the rest of their lives...

With this chapter done and dusted, I must apologize for a terrible waiting time :(. I am very truly sorry for it. It's just that I have school and I've got a lot of other things as well to resolve. In fact, I haven't been active in FanFiction for quite some time (Although I visit the site a lot :P...). Anyway, I hope this was a good chapter. As stated before, this chapter was more to do with the character dynamics between Speckles and Junior. So yeah, there you go. Oh, make sure to rate, review and favour the story as well. Honestly, I am shocked to see that this is my most viewed story. I would have to say thank you to everybody who has supported me during that time. It really means a lot. Oh, and as for my forgotten friends, Yoshi 2.1 and LionKingFactsGuy2, I hope you'll post a feedback some time. It's been awhile since you guys last had a talk with me. Anyway, thanks for reading and I wish I will release chapter 7 as soon as I could. Till then, see you soon ;)...
