Hi everyone!

So here's the second last chapter of this story, we're almost there!

I'm actually a bit sad though... but no matter, on to the replies, disclaimer and then the story!

Bdnboy1 (Guest): Thank you! And yes, he does seem to follow that pattern doesn't he? I didn't really notice! Good job. Morgan was screaming in pain because of a nightmare, in which Slade was hurting her. I know you're not actually supposed to feel pain in your dreams (I think) but because I'm the writer, it doesn't really matter ;p

leena1445: I know that Slade is called Deathstroke in YJ, but I chose to call him Slade because I was basing his looks and characterization after Slade from Teen Titans. Morgan knows about Wally potentially dying in the speed force because she made a point of finding out when she was attempting to be rescued right at the beginning as well as because she cares about him and her being forced to find out weaknesses by Slade. She knows about Dick dying in Gotham because she lives with him in his house and knows what he does. Thanks for your review!

piggythelaw: Yes, she does have a bit of attitude. Thanks for your review, you are just so inspiring!

DISCLAIMER: It does't belong to me. T_T

"Look, I know none of you want to, but I need you all to stay here. If Slade somehow manages to get you and use you against me, I'll probably end up either dead or in his grasp again. You'll be able to watch if you wish. Gotham is filled with cameras and I believe your watch tower could find me anyway. Please don't come down unless I ask you too."

"What if you're dying?" Nightwing asks, his voice dark. He's not happy about this, not at all.

"I suppose it doesn't matter if I can't move. However, if I'm still fighting, stay away. I'm serious Nightwing; I'm not going to be able to win if I'm worried about you."

"Fine. But only because I know I can sneak in without you noticing me if I need to."

"Promise not to unless it's necessary."

He pauses.

"Nightwing." I warn.

"Promise." He sighs. I know that he'll ignore that promise if necessary, but he won't get in my way, we both know it.

"Good. Any questions?"

"It's hardly a question, but I have something for you Miss A." Alfred says and holds out a small bundle.

Confused, I look at what it is.

It's the costume I designed two years ago.

"You made it even after I left?" I whisper, tears springing to my eyes.

"Of course I did, I don't slack on my duties Miss A."

"Thank you!" I say before flinging my arms around him. After all, this might be the last time I get to hug him.

"Miss A, it's nearly time, you should get changed now." Alfred chuckles.

He's right of course, he's always right.

I pull back and nod and race off to the bathroom, to get changed.

Looking at my costume, I'm excited to see that it's exactly the same as what I designed.

I pull on the dark red spandex-like pants. It's a bit tougher than spandex though. Oh and when I say a bit tougher, I mean a lot tougher. It's resistant to practically everything you can think of. After I enchanted it of course.

I pull on the matching dark red long sleeved top and take a moment to admire the black halo positioned on my chest. It looks good, really good.

I then pull on the black combat boots that reach the middle of my calf and then the black gloves that reach the middle of my forearm.

After that I put the black utility belt around my waist and then place the black mask over my eyes.

I take a moment to look at myself and decide that I look like a hero, a real hero. I step out of the bathroom and walk back to the group of people eager to see my costume.

"Niiiiiiiice! You designed that?" Wally asks.

I blush.

"Yeah, I designed it."

Gosh darn it! Why do I have to get so embarrassed around him? He's just a boy! An extremely cute, funny, awe- NO! Stop it! You can't have him. For Artemis remember, for Artemis.

"It's good, I like it."

I blush again. Dammit!

"Thanks."

"So, what do we call you now, because A just doesn't cut it as a superhero name?"

"Halo, call me Halo."

"Awesome! I love it!"

And I blush yet again. Why does this happen to me?

"Ok, love birds; I believe it's time for you to part." Nightwing cuts in, grinning cheekily.

"Hey!"

"We're not love birds!"

I'm almost disturbed by the amount of happiness I get from hearing Wally just say hey and not pretending to puke.

I've got it bad, haven't I?

Nightwing backs away slightly, arms raised in surrender.

"Okay, okay, I'm sorry! Geez!"

I roll my eyes and smile.

"It's time to go" Batman says.

I nod and get ready to walk through the Zeta Tubes.

"Before I go, I want to say thanks for everything you've all done for me, it means a lot to me."

I then turn and walk through the tubes, pretending I can't hear the multiple sniffles coming from the various females in the room.

I exit and find myself in Gotham. Flying into the air, I search for Slade.

"Oh come on, don't tell me you're hiding now!"

"I won't tell you then."

I twist around in the air so that I'm facing Slade. Of course, I immediately scowl.

"It's a bit late to play the nice joking father Slade. This is it. Only one of us is coming out of this alive, we both know it."

"You're such a disappointment Morgana, I expected more of you."

"For the last time, my name is not Morgana, it's MORGAN!" I shout before creating a ball of silver magic and hurling it at him.

It hits him in the chest and he flips over in the air once before he shoots rapid fire black magic at me. I dodge a few before countering them with a wide spread blast of silver.

I then focus and do something Slade didn't expect me to be able to do, I make a rope out of the silver and get him caught in it. The look in his eye is priceless as I hurl him at the ground below. Luckily the citizens have enough brain to move out of the way. Shooting after him, I slam him into the ground and then flip backwards, only just missing the kick thrown at me.

The magic use diminishes as we fight hand to hand combat.

He throws a punch that I dodge and counter with a sweeping kick. However, instead of being knocked over by it, he jumps up and sends me flying with his own well aimed round-house kick.

I tumble back a bit before gaining my balance again and shoot a beam of magic (silver duh, let's just assume that's all I do unless I say otherwise.) at him. Of course it misses him, but it does get the pole I was aiming for which in turn, falls like a domino onto Slade.

He growls angrily before picking up the pole and flinging it at me. I'm not fast enough to get out of the way and it pins me to the ground. I hear a sickening crack as I land and I know that I just broke a rib.

I don't have time for broken bones! I Focus for a second and will my magic to heal it. I'm relieved to find that it works almost instantly and then strain against the pole on my chest. I'm only just able to lift it and roll out from under it before it smashes to the ground again.

The flying kick Slade next sends at me hits me square on the head and I find myself once again on the floor, struggling to pick myself up.

My head is pounding, but I still manage to stagger onto my feet, only to be knocked down again.

Slade towers over me and sneers.

"When push comes to shove Morgana, you'll never beat me, just give up and let me kill you now rather than prolonging this. It's a waste of time."

During this time though, I had been taking my time to build up enough energy to throw him away from me with a wide shockwave of silver.

"Rule number one of super villains" I say, voice dark and menacing, "never monologue!"

I then blast him away and savour the shocked look in his eye before I get to my feet and take to the skies again. It's safer up here for the civilians, plus it hurts more when you hit the ground, not that I'm planning to hit the ground mind you. Slade however…

I don't notice the black beam until it's too late.

It hits my wing and I scream in agony as it begins to corrupt me.

I start to plummet to the ground and only just manage to stop before I hit the concrete.

Angered, I throw a beam of silver at him, except it comes out black.

"What?"

"It's called corruption Morgana, and it's taking over you."

"No!"

"Yes" he hisses.

I throw punch after punch at him, but every single one of them misses as I slowly weaken.

Frustrated, I take to the skies again. My wings hold for the moment and I dodge the punch throws at me after he speeds after me.

I somehow manage to dodge all the punches despite my weakening state. As we fly past several windows, I notice that my wings are now fully black, as are my eyes.

Anger fills me to the brim, it's all I can think of, how angry I am, how much I hate Slade.

When bursts of Black magic start spurting out of me randomly, I know I'm losing control.

No, I won't lose this battle. I have to win this for Artemis, for Batman and Bruce and for Nightwing and Dick. I have to win this for Wally.

I plummet to the ground and Slade follows. However, as I watch the ground near, I'm reaching deep inside myself, deeper than I've ever gone.

My efforts slowly start to show as white light starts to glow from my chest. The light slowly grows and I grab hold of Slade before it grows too big.

He tries to struggle away, but the amount of magic pumping through my veins is making me stronger than he is.

Soon, we're surrounded by a pure white bubble of raw magic. That's then that I understand. Slade was wrong. White magic is the most powerful magic when used properly, not black and not silver, white.

The bubble is now so bright that it hurts, even when your eyes are closed. I know that if I let go of the power, it'll kill Slade and most likely kill me with him.

With an ear-splitting scream, I let the magic explode out of me.

The shockwave is terrifying and takes down at least five buildings, the normally dark sky glowing with an unnatural white light. I can practically feel the corruption being ripped out of my wings and eyes.

The weakness from using that much power soon catches up to me and I collapse onto the pavement, somehow not hit by the falling debris.

The last thing I see before I'm dragged into black is a mask less Slade, his eye vacant.

I did it! I killed Slade!

I won!
