Hello everyone!

I'm warning you, this is the final chapter and is therefore pure fluff! You have been warned!

I'm serious, it's the sappiest thing I've written yet. No drama, nothing bad hanging around the corner, just fluff.

Bdnboy1 (Guest): Thank you! The reason she doesn't have time thinking of what to call herself is because back in chapter 10 you see her have the vision and decide that she is Halo, therefore she didn't need to think about what to call herself. As for her saying the Joker killed her parents at the start of the story and later on saying that she killed them, you'll notice in chapter 1 she says this: "Well, you know how I told you that Joker murdered my parents? I lied." Thanks for your reviews, I loved every single one of them.

I wake up to a blinding white light.

Am I, dead?

"She's awake!"

Nope, just the infirmary at Mt Justice I guess. It always was really bright…

I sit myself up and then cringe as I see Wally flying at me at an inhuman speed.

He slows down just before he hits me though and promptly kisses me so hard I think I actually died and went to heaven.

"OhmyGodyou'realive!Ithoughtyoudied!" He says in speed talk, but I'm still able to decipher it.

"Wally! Calm down, I'm alive, I'm not going away!" I say, looking straight into his beautiful emerald eyes.

"I thought you died" he whispers again.

"No, I would never die, I have to stay alive, Earth still needs me."

"And so do I." he adds.

"What about Artemis?" I ask even though I'm terrified that if I do, he'll leave me.

"What about her?"

"Didn't- weren't you two in love?"

"I could never love Artemis, not the way I love you. She was just a good friend; she was like a sister to me. You know what she said to me just before she died?"

"Wh-what?" I ask, afraid.

"She told me to chase after you because she knew you would hate yourself after this. She told me to take a chance and show you how much I love you before it was too late. She told me that you loved me back."

"But you left before I could tell you, so I was left, worrying that I had killed you, that I let you die. When I found you again, I was so relieved, but when I saw how broken your eyes were, I was so scared. I begged you to come back, and you did. When you touched my hand, it felt like an electric shock travelled through my body. That was when I realised that I loved you more than anything."

"I was too scared to tell you though, I was afraid of rejection and you kept yourself distant, I thought you didn't want me, but now I see that you were protecting Artemis' honour. And when I thought you died, I thought I lost my second chance. But you're alive, you're alive and you're breathing and I'm going to tell you how I feel before my third chance goes away and you really die."

"Morgan Cavett, I love you with all my heart. Without you, my life would be nothing; I would simply cease to exist. I live for you; I would do anything for you. You are my sun and my moon and my stars and you mean everything to me."

Tears slowly fill my eyes as he says what I've always wanted him to say.

"Oh Wally, I love you too, I love you so much it hurts. I defeated Slade for you; I would've died if you weren't in my life. I kept fighting because I kept hoping that maybe, just maybe, you would love me back. And now that you do, my life is complete. You were like the missing puzzle piece that just puts everything into perspective and makes the picture perfect."

I suddenly find myself kissing him again, my body pressed against him, his arms around me tightly, like he's never going to let me go again. This kiss is different. This time I kiss back.

We hear a whistle from the doorway and promptly ignore it and finish our kiss when we're good and ready.

When we do stop, I look up at Nightwing and send him the best Batman/Slade glare I can give him. I'm satisfied to see his eyes widen slightly.

If only they were widening in fear rather than laughter.

"They finally kissed!" he calls out the door and I blush when I hear the responding cheer. When I look at Wally, he's equally embarrassed and has a red tinge to his cheeks.

"Just because you can't get a girlfriend" he scowls.

"Well actually…" he says before trailing off as a pretty girl with black hair wearing a suit like outfit walks up and kisses him.

"You're kidding? You mean you actually asked Zatanna to be your girlfriend instead of dreaming about it?" Wally asks, eyes wide in surprise.

"Yup" Nightwing replies proudly.

I get out of the bed and walk over to Zatanna.

"Hi, my name's Halo, It's a pleasure to meet you." I say, holding out my hand.

"My name's Zatanna Zatara and the pleasure's all mine."

I closely look over Zatanna and deem her safe. After all, I can't have my brother getting into trouble can I?

"Do I pass the test?" she asks and I promptly blush.

"I'm sorry it's just that-"

"Relax, I know. You're protective of your little brother, just like the rest of the team." She laughs

"Actually, he's just my brother; we're the same age. Actually, I don't know if he's older than me or not, seeing as I don't know my actual birthday anymore."

"Well that's sad, we'll have to find you a birthday then, won't we." She says and I instantly like her. I can just tell that we're going to become friends.

That's about when Batman walks in.

"How are you feeling Halo?" he asks.

"Fine, my magic has replenished itself and any injuries I got while I was fighting were healed by that last blast."

"That was a lot of power. Even more than Doctor Fate uses." Zatanna says, obviously she saw at least that part of the fight.

"R-really?"

"Yeah. I can't believe you had that much power in you."

"Well she does have a whole prophesy dedicated to her. Plus she's a destined ruler that was given even more power than normal so that she could defeat the current corrupted ruler, who was Slade." Wally says nonchalantly. Of course, I blush.

Zatanna's eyes widen.

"Not only do you have the most power of all the beings in this world who contain magic in them, you're a ruler who had a prophesy written about them? You sound like the next controller of magic!"

"Please tell me you made that up just then." I say, my heart sinking. Not another prophesy.

"Oh no, don't worry. There's no such thing as a controller of magic, but the amount of power you wield makes you sound like one, if there was one."

"Damn those corrupted Thanagarians" I say jokingly.

I suddenly hit the ground as I'm tackled by Shayera.

"Arg! It was a joke!"

"You're alive! I was so worried!"

"Wait, the tackle wasn't about the joke?"

"What was the joke?"

"Ahh, nothing."

Her eyebrow raises, but she ignores my obvious lie, for now.

Instead, she picks herself up off the floor and then helps me up as well.

I look at Batman and then ask the terrifying question.

"Is he dead? Is there any possibility that he could come back again?"

"No. You defeated him. There is no possible way he could ever come back again."

I fling myself at him in happiness and hug him. He doesn't even hesitate to hug me back again.

I did it! Everyone is safe, properly safe. Slade is never coming back.

"Come on, it's time you ease the worries of everyone else, they're waiting for you."

Shrugging, I exit the infirmary and enter the lounge room. I almost faint when I hear the cheer and see everyone in the room.

Pretty much all of the heroes I have ever met, even if it was me taking them out or stealing something on their watch, is there. There are even some people I've never even met before!

They're throwing a party, for me!

I receive many hugs, handshakes and pats on the backs. Everyone is thanking me and it's overwhelming.

All these people are thanking me, they appreciate me. They actually care about me!

I don't see Wally until a few hours later. I find him hanging around the food table, stuffing his face as much as he politely can.

"Halo! There you are! I decided to wait here because I figured you'd come here eventually."

"And you wanted the food."

"Well, yeah… but-"

"Shh! I don't need excuses Wally; I know you need food so that you don't collapse."

"Seems like you're the only one" he grumbles.

"What? I'm not enough for you?" I tease.

"No! You-"

"Calm down Sparky, I'm just teasing you!"

"Sparky?"

"Well" I begin, a blush already adorning my face, "Every time I touch you it's like I've been shocked, so it seems appropriate."

I peek a look at him and see his face turn red in a blush of his own.

He's blushing over me?

"Of course I am! Why wouldn't I blush over the most beautiful girl in the room?" He says and I realise I just thought aloud.

"Beautiful?"

"No, most beautiful."

"I love you Wally."

"I love you too, Morgan" he says, whispering the last word into my ear.

"Come on! Kiss already!" Nightwing shouts across the room. Everyone turns to stare at us.

"Well?" Wally asks.

I pause.

"What the heck, let's do it" I say and suddenly, we're kissing for the third time, the third time!

Everyone cheers and we both blush.

I know now that everything will be ok.

Sure, Artemis is dead and my job is far from done, but now I know my purpose, I know where I belong. I know who I am.

I am Morgan Cavett.

I am Halo.

(Still no line space :/)

So that's it, the story is finished.

However, I've had a thought. The prophecy isn't actually complete yet because while Morgan has rid earth of Slade, Thanagar is still being plagued by Slade's copies and still needs a new ruler...

Potential sequel right there^^^. Let me know what you think of that won't you?
