Damon sighed and he actually looked scared. "They have him. I can't get to him. But they have him and they are planning to kill him."

"WHAT!" Elena shrieked as tears started to stream down her cheeks. What was going to happen now? How could they possibly save Stefan?

"Ok well now that we know this we need a plan and we need one now." Lexi said

"That might be harder than you think, Lexi." Damon said.

"Why, what did you do?" Lexi growled.

"They were smarter than I thought. They picked a place that is already owned by a human and then compelled her not to let me inside." Damon said innocently. "But I saw my brother and he's in rough shape."

Elena stopped crying when she had a thought in her head. Both Lexi and Damon would need an invite to get inside. She didn't. If she could get inside maybe she could save Stefan. "I can get inside. I'll go."

Damon exploded. "I'VE ALREADY TOLD YOU, YOU CAN'T GO ANYWHERE NEAR THAT HOUSE! DID YOU FORGET YOU LOOK LIKE KATHERINE! DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA HOW ANGRY THEY ARE AT KATHERINE!""

Elena flinched back and gasped as a flash of Lee's attack went through her head.

Lexi took her hand and stood in front of her. "You don't need to yell at her Damon. She is right about one thing. Both of us need an invite to get inside. It would be easier if we could find a human they don't know to get inside and maybe bring the human outside and I'll compel her to let us both in."

"Ok, well who do we know that has experience fighting vampires and is human?" Damon asked.

"Alaric!" Elena said quickly. "He can help us!"

"It's worth a shot." Lexi said. "I'll go talk to him."

"I'll come with you." Elena asked, not wanting to be alone with Damon...not wanting to be alone at all.

Lexi nodded and they both left the house.

After talking with Ric and discussing the plan with Damon everyone headed to the house. Elena was along for the ride and supposed to stay in the car the entire time.

Lexi and Damon waited around back for Ric to get them inside.

"You know I put on a brave face for Elena but I swear if anything happens to Stefan I'm going to rip your head right off your shoulders." Lexi growled.

"He'll be fine" Damon said with a shrug.

"Did you forget he's on animal blood and not much of it! We don't even know what was done to him!"

Damon sighed. "He's going to be fine. All right, I'm not going to let them do anything to hurt him!"

The door opened and Ric stood there with a little eldery woman with bit marks all over her wrists and neck. Ric gave her a small push so she was outside. Damon grabbed the woman but before he could do anything Lexi pulled him away. She looked the woman in the eyes.

"Leave this house and forget everything that was done to you. Go someplace you feel safe and happy. Go visit a close best friend and do not return to this house ever. Before you go please invite me and my friend inside the house."

The eldery woman looked to Lexi and Damon and smiled sweetly. "You're both welcome to go inside. I'm headed out to see an old friend."

They woman went off and Damon and Lexi stepped inside.

"Thanks, Ric, now please go wait in the car with Elena. I don't want her sneaking off to come try and help us."

Ric nodded and followed after the older woman.

"I'll check the floors on this level, you check the basement." Damon said.

Lexi nodded and headed outside of the house again and looked foe the small staircase that led to the basement. She followed the all the way until she came to a long hallway. She could hear Stefan strained groans of pains and softly whimpers. So she knew she was close. As she stepped into the hallway she gasped. There was a vampire sitting on a chair listening to music guarding Stefan. But what shocked her the most, that vampire was Lee.

"I don't believe this." Lexi said.

Lee jumped startled by her voice and stood up. "Lexi…what are you doing here?"

Lexi scoffed. "You had to of known I'd come looking for Stefan. What are you doing here, are you part of this?"

"I have good reason. I'm protecting Elena. After you guys left the Grill the other night one of them came to find me. They asked if I knew anything about the Salvatore brothers and I didn't say anything. But then they said they would go after Elena if I didn't say anything so I told them about Stefan. They said once they were done with Stefan, if I helped them I could have Elena and they'd leave her alone."

Lexi shook her head. "I don't believe this. How dare you! Stefan is my best friend, my brother and you're working with the people who are trying to kill him. What's gotten into you, Lee? You've never acted like this before."

"You're just starting to see my true colors." Lee smirked.

"Well if this is who you really are than it's over. I don't ever want to see you again." Lexi growled. "Now move so I can get to Stefan otherwise I'll destroy you."

"You're not going anywhere." Lee smirked.

Lexi growled, but then she got an idea. She sighed softly. "I'm sorry. You're right. You did the right thing, you protected Elena. I shouldn't have gotten mad at you. Can I have a hug?"

Lee went over and hugged her tightly. Lexi hugged back but without him knowing lifting a vervain dart over his head. She squeezed her eyes shut and slammed the dart into his back. He growled and then feel to the floor. Lexi stepped over him and rushed into the room. She felt sick when she saw Stefan. "Rough shape" was an understatement.

"Lexi." She choked out.

"I'm here. It's ok. I'm going to get you out of here."

She looked next to Stefan and saw one of them pinned down on the chair. "What happen to you?" she asked.

"He tried to help me." Stefan choked out. "Help him first."

Damon came running in behind her. "Good you found him. He ran over to where the ropes and went to pull Stefan down but then hissed and pulled back.

"There is vervain on the ropes."

Damon started searching for a pair of gloves or towel or something to make the vervain touchable.

Lexi removed the stakes from the other vampires legs. Then went over to the ropes.

"Lexi, no." Stefan choked out.

She grabbed the ropes as tight as she could biting her lip as the vervain burned her skin. She gave it a hard tug and got Stefan lose. Then she ran over and untied the ropes from his hand and feet. He could barely stand up by the time all the ropes were off him. Lexi grabbed his shirt and put it over him and helped him get outside.

From the car Elena saw Lexi coming dragging a weak Stefan with her. She jumped out of the car and ran over to him.

"He's weak. He needs blood." Lexi said.

Elena looked around. She highly doubted a random bunny would come hopping along at this moment so she did the only thing she could think of. She pressed her wrist to Stefan's mouth.

"No. Elena." He choked out, not even strong enough to push her away. "Stop please."

"You need my blood, Stefan please take my blood." She begged.

"DO it, it's ok. I'm right here. I won't let you lose control." Lexi assured him.

Stefan grabbed her wrist and bit into it drinking her blood.

Lexi heard one of the vampires following them. She looked to Elena. "Stay here with him."

She nodded and she could tell he was getting his strength back because his grip on her wrist was getting tighter and tighter, but not painful.

Lexi ran off to fight the last vampire.

Once Stefan had enough blood in him Elena pulled back a little surprised when he growled. But he seemed to calm down and sighed. "I'm sorry."

"It's ok. Let's get you to the car."

Elena led him to the car and they got inside. Now all the had to do was wait. Stefan kept his distance from Elena in the car. He wouldn't even speak to her if she tried to ask him questions.

It seemed like forever until both Damon and Lexi came running over. They jumped into the car and Ric sped away.

Lexi looked to Elena. "How is he?"

"I don't know. He's not speaking to me. He won't even look at me. Did I do something wrong?" Elena asked.

"No, it's not you. Listen he had human blood tonight. He hasn't had any human blood in a very very long time. It's hard for him to stay in control once he has it. He's ignoring you so he doesn't lose control and hurt you but just trust me and I'll make sure he's ok."

Elena sighed but nodded.

"Listen to her Elena. I don't want to hurt you this is the only way I know how. Plead don't be angry with me." Stefan said still staring out the window.

Elena sighed and nodded again. She understood why now but that didn't mean she had to like it.
