Chapter 8
Aurora roared out in pain when she moved to her side in the bed. A big pounding was going on in her head the feeling you would have when you get hit by a fist. Still having closed her eyes she tried to feel if she still had her dress on. She slowly was moving herself onto her back. Hissing out a curse to the seven gods she held her hand before her eyes. Thank the gods the curtains were closed at least she couldn't see the daylight. It was her punishment and she was cursing at herself for being so stupid. She the eldest daughter of lord Stark let herself go and probably ruined the last modesty she had. Aurora moved her hand and looked around in the room she was in. " Thank the gods" she said . She was in her own room but how she got there she can not remember. Suddenly a loud knocking was heard on the door. Moaning out at the loud noise she screamed out "GO AWAY". The knocking stopped and Aurora tried to stop the sickness in her stomach from going up. A louder knocking started and Aurora really got annoyed " If the next person tries to knock on this door I will personally hang your balls on the Wall at castle Black."
The door opened with a bang and angry septa stepped into the room. With an angry look on her face she opened the curtains and removed the furs off the bed. Aurora cried out when the light hit her in the face. But the septa had no mercy on her " LADY AURORA!" she screamed out. Faintly Aurora tried to shush the septa up but she was no match. " You will not shush me. You have a lot to explain for your actions that happened last night". And the angry septa marched out of the room leaving a moaning Aurora behind in her bed.
Finally having dressed herself in a new dress Aurora tried to get unnoticed to the garden. She looked around but did not see any angry septa hanging around a dark corner waiting to strike. Taking a deep breath Aurora was about to walk out the door when she was stopped by a voice. " A lady Aurora nice to see you back to the living and how are you feeling after last night." Giving out a curse Aurora turned around with a fake smile on her face. " Nice to see you too Tyrion and I am doing quit well." Tyrion looked at her and he knew immediately when he saw her eyes. Walking to her he grabbed her arm and started walking out the door into the garden. Only a confused looking Aurora at his arm.
Giving out laugh Tyrion sat down with her on some chairs in the garden hiding behind some trees. " You really have no idea what happened last night do you my lady?" Tyrion asked Aurora while he looked to her. Giving out a shaky breath Aurora closed her eyes. " I truly remember only bits and pieces." She said to Tyrion while trying to get her memory back. When suddenly something flashed by her eyes. "OH god what have I done." Aurora whispered and Tyrion patted her hand. "It's not the end of the realm my lady we could totally blame it on the drinks that were served."
Aurora remembered what happened at the beginning of the night. And it is a wonder she hasn't been killed yet for her actions.
" It is really good to see you here in Winterfell again my sweet daughter." Ned Stark said while he moved back to the table with his daughter on his arm. Aurora looked to her father and gave him a kiss on the cheek before she sat down next to Robb. " A lone wolf needs a pack father." She waved to her younger siblings and tried not to look to the other side of the table. Taking the cup from her brother's hand she immediately drank it empty. " I need a drink a lot of drinks to get through this evening little brother." Aurora whispered to Robb while out of her left eye she saw Jaime looking at her with a fierce look in his eyes. Robb starred at his sister and took the cup out of her hands. " I do not think that it wise sister you have not eaten anything." Aurora shushed Robb up with her finger on his mouth. " Have you seen this dress little brother it is so tight I defiantly know I have breasts because they are shoved in my FACE!" She said back. " And before you even respond on that we have southerns on our table and septa Mordane is already annoying me so bad . That I am truly about to break. So do not tell me what I can and can not do little brother." Aurora hissed out before grabbing another cup and drinking it empty in one try.
From the other side of the table Jaime looked at Aurora while she whispered to her brother and drank cup after cup empty. She was going to get drunk and he knew only bad things could happen from that. She could spill all the secrets and where she has been the past months. Jaime looked to Tyrion and he also was starring at Aurora. " Brother we some how have to stop her." Jaime said to Tyrion while he drank some from his wine. Tyrion admired the way Lady Aurora could drink her cups away. " I agree she is truly like a wild wolf tonight and I am afraid our sister has also found out about it." Tyrion saw how Cersei was looking at Aurora when Robert walked to her. She was jealous for the attention even if she loathed her husband he was giving the Stark bitch to much credit then she deserved. And that was something the Queen could not aloud but before she could come up with a plan. The Stark girl was already on her way to ruin herself and Cersei's night could only get better.
Aurora started laughing at her little sister Arya when she was carried away by Robb. The younger wolf started a food fight only Sansa did not know she was in it. " Ah please father you can not make them leave." She said when she pointed at the retreating back of Rickon and Bran. Ned Stark wanted to let the younger ones stay longer only his wife did not want them to cause any more trouble. " I am sorry Aurora but it is time for them to get some rest."
With a little huff Aurora stared at Sansa who was cleaning herself up with the help of Jeyne Poole. Always the perfect little lady Sansa wanted to be and sometimes Aurora hated the perfection her younger sister had. That is not the life Aurora wants she wants to get dirty, hunt, travel and fight for her father against the wildlings.
Suddenly Aurora heard her mother say something to the queen. " Have you gone mad father ." she said over the table a little loud. Catelyn stopped her conversation and looked mad to her eldest daughter. " Aurora we will talk about it tomorrow." Catelyn Stark whispered to her daughter. That only got Aurora madder and she refused to wait to next morrow. " No this can not wait mother. Father please tell me what I overheard between mother and the queen is wrong." Aurora said while she saw her father take a breath and an apologized to the king. Ned Stark looked to his eldest daughter and he could not lie to her. " I am sorry Aurora but it is true your sister Sansa is going to marry Prince Joffrey as I will be hand of the king."
Aurora shoved her chair back with a loud bang while she stood up and every eye in the hall was looking at her. While shaking her head she walked to the front of the table and stopped in front of the king and her father. " Have you truly gone mad that boy is not fit for Sansa." She said and Cersei stood up from her chair. " Take your words back girl. You should be lucky that Sansa has a match with my Joffrey. You are just jealous because no man has come for your hand Stark girl." Aurora slammed her hands on the table and Cersei backed down in her chair. " Lucky, lucky you said. That BOY of yours has been ripping apart puppies in his spare time. I refuse to let my sister marry a MONSTER like your son." She screamed back.
Catelyn Stark stood up angry refusing to let her daughter shame their name some more. " Aurora Lyanna Stark! You apologize right now to the King , Queen and prince Joffrey. And you better hope girl that they accept it." Catelyn's hands were shaking from and Ned tried to put her back in the chair. Ned looked to his daughter and he already saw the look in her eyes just like her aunt he thought. He waved to Jory the captain of the guards and he whispered. " Get Jon and Robb in here and also find my brother I am going to need their help with our wolf." Jory ran out of the hall already finding Robb and explaining the situation.
Aurora took a small mocking bow and starred everyone on the table down with her cold eyes. " Oh I apologize Queen Cersei I was meant to say that monster Prince Joffrey is not good enough for my sister lady Sansa Stark of Winterfell." It was all falling out of control and Tyrion and Jaime could only stare at the situation. " ENOUGH!" Robert yelled and stood up from his seat. "Take control of your daughter Ned because otherwise I will." Ned nodded to the King and walked to his daughter. He also saw Jory ran back into the hall with Jon, Benjen and Robb following him. " Aurora please come with me you are confused and do not know what you are talking off." He tried to grab his daughter by the arm. But Aurora shook loose before he even got her out of the hall. " No father I defiantly know what I am talking off." Sansa started to scream at her sister and tried to stop her from returning to the table. "STOP it Aurora you are humiliating me and mother. You are drunk."
She looked a bit to Sansa but stopped in front of the table before she got grabbed by the arms by her uncle Benjen and Jon. " Please niece stop it this is not a task stand down." Benjen begged to her because he knew what she was capable off. Aurora started to struggle and tried to get away. But not before looking at the royal family and say. " Jaehossi Uëpossi Arlÿssï. Nyke Aurora Stark hen Stark Lentrot. Jemot kivio nuhe tepan." A shock went through the hall and Robert started to point at her while Cersei screamed. " GRAB THAT GIRL!" And every Lannister soldier started to move to Aurora and her brothers and uncle. "NED get your daughter out of here. I will not listen to that girl unless she speaks normal." Aurora was being dragged away but not before she screamed her last words. " Sönar Mäzis! Kesiro syt bantis zöbrie issa se ossÿmgnoti lëdys."
The hall was quit after she left and Jaime was starring at the place she once stood. Tyrion gave out a laugh. " Now that was entertainment in High Valyrian. Cheers to Lady Aurora for not fearing the stag." And Tyrion raised his cup while a shocked Robert Baratheon was looking like he has heard a ghost speaking. Ned Stark returned to the hall with a worried look on his face he now truly knows Robert wants to know more about the education Aurora had. Because Ned believes that the King will not fall for the lie of the supposed sickness Aurora had when she was younger.
The meaning of the words.
By the old gods and the new . I am Aurora Stark of the house Stark. I give you my word. Winter is Coming. For the night is dark and full of terrors.
