Chapter 15, all is revealed

The pups got back to the school quickly, the principal standing in the middle of the schoolyard.

'Good to see you two.' She said.

'Did you receive my message?' Oscar asked, scared he would get in trouble.

'Yes, and don't worry, you two are not in trouble. First off I wanted to make sure you two are okay.' The principal asked.

'We are okay now.' Oscar answered

'Good. Secondly, I can give an update on what happened with Zuma. As long as I don't have to separate any upset pups, looking at you Riley.' The principal said.

Riley nodded. 'I can do that.' She said.

'Okay, I've been told Zuma got into a fight in the forest with a couple of dogs from school. They said Zuma is quite injured, and is now at the hospital.' The principal said.

'Will he be alright?' Riley asked.

'They are still looking at him, but as for now he will be alright.' The principal replied.

'Why do dogs do such things.' Oscar said out loud.

'Two suspects will get police at their door this afternoon, the other pup who revealed everything will be questioned further by the Paw Patrol.' The principal explained.

'Roscoe is involved isn't he.' Riley said, looking the principal in the eye.

'All I know is he was involved in the situation.' The principal said. 'I understand if you two would like to go home to calm down from all this chaos. You two are free to do so.'

'I just want to know why.' Riley said.

'I don't have that information for you right now, I'll make sure you are updated as soon as possible.' The principal said.

'Come Riley, let's go to my place.' Oscar said.

Riley wanted to run into that building and ask Roscoe what in the world had happened here, but she accepted defeat. Following her friend home.

The next morning

The next day Oscar found himself waiting for the school doors to open by himself. Roscoe, jack and bear didn't show up, which wasn't a surprise. Riley had stayed at home. Not being able to sleep, her creative mind not helping her in thinking positive.

Oscar was in geography class, which was presented by Zuma's mentor. Oscar was distracted and was staring out the window. Suddenly the teacher came up to him.

'Hey Oscar, I see you are a little distracted, which is fully understandable. Just got a message with an update, let's go to the hallway for a second.' Maya said, with a nice calming voice.

Oscar nodded and immediately got up from his seat, following Zuma's mentor out of the classroom. It was real silent in the hallway, Oscar getting a little nervous.

'Pretty crazy situation huh.' Maya said.

'For sure.' Oscar replied.

'Even reading about it just makes me wonder what kind of world we live in.' Maya said. 'But yeah, I got an update. They checked Zuma at the hospital, he is pretty beaten up and all. A lot of stitches and a broken bone, but he'll be okay.'

Finally air was allowed out of Oscar's body as he had been holding it in the whole time.

'Ah that's a relief, that he will be okay.' Oscar said.

'I think so to. It will be a long road for him, but I am sure with the paw patrol and friends like you, he'll be back in no time.' Maya said with some happiness behind it. 'Jack and Bear have been kicked off this school and will be send to a special school very far away.'

'What about Roscoe?' Oscar asked.

'He is suspended for a week, but probably won't come to school for a longer period, he's been really upset about the situation.' Maya said.

'Okay, thanks for the update.' Oscar said.
