Hey guys! I hope you all have been doing well lately! So I finally got around to doing another chapter, but this one is going to be Avengers centric. This chapter will be split between two different views: the Avengers and Tony. I tried to make this as good as I could, but I had a hard time making it. I'm kind of going off track with the autobiography part for now and doing some one on one with Tony and the Avengers, so let me know if you guys are fine with that (hint hint: part of it's about after New York and Tony's PTSD)! I'm also hoping to get another chapter up next weekend. I know this is a bit random, but I found the perfect song for the last chapter called Coming Home Pt. 2 by Skylar Grey so I might start putting chapter-related-songs on here. Also, I've noticed I'm getting fewer reviews per chapter and I'm getting a decent amount of views per chapter (about 25-30) so please please write a review, they keep me going. Have a good week guys and hope you enjoy the chapter! :)
Thewarpedmind1: Thanks! I'm still thinking about it and maybe just putting it in the next chapter, but who knows (that's why I'm putting the autobiography part off for a while. Writers block :/)!
Nancy: Thanks for reviewing and your input! :)
Ophelia Lokisdottir: Thank you very much and here's some Avengers!
They all put down the rough draft of the book once again.
"Guy's, are you sure we should be reading this? It's pretty privateā¦" Steve asked the group.
"Well, he did leave it out in the open," Clint said in his usual tone.
"But maybe Brother Tony didn't want us reading it yet," Thor exclaimed.
"Maybe we should just stop reading it beforeā¦" Bruce was saying as a loud thud interrupted their conversation.
"Is he back already? That was supposed to be a long mission," Natasha said.
"Well, we are talking about Stark. He's pretty un-expectant," Fury said. They all started scurrying to hide their copy of the book before Tony walked in.
"Thank goodness that mission is over," I thought to myself. I knew it should've taken 6-7 hours, but I wanted it to be done and over with so I took 3 and a half hour instead. Yeah it cost me a couple of cuts and bruises, but it got me out of there sooner. I landed with a thud and then had JARVIS dismantle the suit.
"Welcome back Sir, how did your mission go?" he asked.
"I guess fine. A couple cuts and bruises," I replied. I looked around and saw no one.
"JARVIS, where is everyone?" I asked, wondering where they went.
"They are in the living room, Sir, but I would advise you to disinfect your cuts first. They appear to be deep," he replied.
"Ugh, fine." I went into the bathroom and got out the hydrogen peroxide and poured it over the cuts. After I did that, I got out the gauze and taped it over the cuts. I started to head towards the living room when I heard scuffling. As I got closer, I seen the Avenger's and Nick (why is Nick here?) moving quickly around the room.
"Hey guys," I said. They all turned towards me with guilty looking faces.
"What's wrong?" I asked, wondering what was going on.
"Oh, nothing," Nick stated "just wanted to drop by to see how you guys were doing."
"That's totally unlike you but okay," I said questioningly. Right after I said that, I heard a stack of paper's drop. I looked over and it seemed awfully familiar. Everyone looked to see what I was going to do so I started walking over to the stack of papers and I instantly knew what it was. I didn't even want them reading it yet! I needed to tell them things before they read so they didn't think of me any differently and start pitying me, and that was the last thing I need! I'm already having a hard time right now, after New York. Now I see why Nick is here.
"You might not want to go over there," Natasha warned.
"Why not? It's probably not anything important!" I said with irritation in my voice. I bent over to pick it up and sure enough, it was a copy of my autobiography. They all sat there staring at me, seeing what I would do next. All I could do at first was just look at it. After a minute I looked up at them,
"Did you ever thinking about asking me if I wanted you guy's to read it?" I asked anger seeping into my voice. They all just looked at me, not knowing what to do.
"Well we seen six copies sitting there, so we figured they were for us," Steve said quietly.
"Well you know what, maybe I had to tell you a few things about this before you started reading this. See, now you guys are making things worse for me. Thanks a lot." With that I stormed out of the room to my workshop.
"JARVIS put my workshop on lockdown."
"At your request sir."
"What do you think Tony meant 'You guys are making things worse for me'?" Bruce said softly.
"I don't know, but he has been acting a bit strange lately, especially after New York and all," Clint stated.
"Yeah, I've noticed that to, but that could just be the usual Tony. Didn't he write about New York in his book though?" Bruce replied.
"Yeah," Natasha said. After a minute, Steve broke the silence.
"Well now I feel pretty bad. He seemed pretty upset about it."
"We should go talk to him about it," Thor suggested.
"Let's just give him a while to cool off," Nick said. After about a half an hour of staring at the wall, not saying a word, Bruce once again broke the silence.
"I think we should go try to talk to him now," Bruce whispered. With that, everyone got up and made their way to Tony's workshop
So what do you guys think? Do you want me to have a little bit of PTSD Tony in there for the next chapter or not? Leave a review and tell me! Thanks! :)
