Hey guys! I told you I would get the next chapter up haha! So I just recently checked, and I have an amazing 22 follows, 14 favorites, 43 reviews, and 4,877 views! Now, it might just be me but that's a lot for my first fanfic! Also, my italicizer won't work :/. But anyway, hope you like the chapter and don't forget to leave a review! Thanks! :) - The Avengers made their way down to Tony's workshop. Bruce put his hand on the doorknob and slowly turned it. "Why won't it open? JARVIS open the door!" Bruce said. "I'm sorry Sir, but I cannot. Sir has requested for his workshop to be on total lockdown." JARVIS replied. "Tony open the door right now or else..." Clint said mid sentence then turned around to see who was coming down the stairs along with the rest of the Avengers. "What's going on down here?" Pepper exclaimed. "Tony won't let is in and we need to talk to him," Steve said. "Tony, can you let us in please?" Pepper said loud enough for Tony to here. "Why should I? You all just basically invaded all my privacy!" Tony yelled. Tony never seemed to get this mad at them. Pepper turned around and mouthed "what could you have possibly done?" to the group behind her, worry in her eye. "Tony, please let us in. You're scaring me. Please." - *Back when Tony just locked down his workshop* "How could they do this? They can't just barge into my privacy like that! Yeah, I left it on the table but I thought they would know better!" I thought to myself. "Who knows how much they read, they could've read about Afghanistan or maybe even…no I can't think about that. Not now. I can't have an anxiety attack now. Great now they have me thinking about New York. Why can't I breathe?" The strands of thoughts wouldn't end in my mind. Oh, they're going to pay for this. "No. This needs to stop right now. All I have to do is just lie down and let this pass over. It's all going to be okay Tony. It's okay, your home safe and everyone is okay." I lied down on the sofa and focused on my breathing and it eventually blew over in a few minutes. I stood up and thought about the Avengers again. "I can't believe them." I thought to myself as I picked up a glass and threw it across the room. I started throwing more and more stuff across the room to get my anger out because the only other way to get it out was either crying about it or punching someone in the face and none of that was going to happen. I sat back down on the couch when I heard a knock at the door. "Surprise surprise. Look whose here," I thought to myself. The doorknob wiggled and then I heard Clint, "Tony, open the door right now or else…" he stopped midsentence. What could be going on now? I went closer to the door, but not all the way just in case. "Tony, can you let us in please?" Pepper said from the other side. "She's home already?" I thought to myself. But I still can't let them in. "Why should I? You all just basically invaded all my privacy!" I yelled at them. There was a moment of silence from the other side of the door. Probably stunned from me yelling at them for once. "Tony, please let us in. You're scaring me. Please," she said soft enough for me to hear. "Please don't play the guilt card on me Pepper." But I couldn't resist. "JARVIS unlock the door," I said softly. I opened the door and said, "What do you want," coldly. "We need to talk to you. About the book," Natasha said. "You guys know everything already and you have Fury to tell you the rest of it so why do you need to talk to me," I said blankly as I started shutting the door. "Tony, stop this right now. They deserve to know. They're like your family," Pepper scolded. I stood there in shock for a moment and thought about what she said. She was right. They basically are my family and the only other family I had. They did deserve to know more about it than what I put in there. "Under one condition," I started, "No pity or anything of the sorts, I can't stand it." "Deal," they all said almost at the same time. "Well then let's get this over with," I told them. I can't believe I'm doing this. - "So what do you guys want to know?" I asked them as I hopped onto my workbench with Pepper by my side. They all sat there in silence for a moment. "Who else knew about this? What was in the book," Steve asked. "Obviously Fury, Pepper, and Bruce and Natasha knew about part of it," I answered. "Did they really do operation on you while you were awake, Brother Tony?" I could only sit there for a second and think about that day. "Yeah," I said barely audible. We all sat there for a while in silence. I couldn't get my mind off of what they just asked about. Fear was starting to rise up in me thinking about what happened back in that cave. "Is that all you wanted know? Okay good," I said without letting them answer. "Actually, there is one more thing, Tony," Bruce started "you've been kind of acting weird lately." I looked over to Pepper hoping she had something to say. She leaned over to me and whispered in my ear, "You can do this Tony, they won't judge you. I promise." She gave me a reassuring look. "Okay Tony, you can do this without freaking out," I thought to myself. "Well, you know about Afghanistan and New York has kind of gotten to me. I know Afghanistan was a long time ago, but after New York, it all came rushing back and it's been too much for me to handle. I started having these panic attacks a few months ago after you guys moved in. I've also had some nightmares too so that's why I'm constantly down here, because I don't want to go back to what happened in the past. So basically what I'm trying to say is I have PTSD. That's why I leave the room when you start talking about New York or if the news is talking about Afghanistan. I never wanted to admit this, guys because you'll just think of me as weak and you'll give me all this pity." Everyone once again sat in silence. Eventually, Steve broke the silence, "Tony, no one would ever think of you any less than you are. You are a hero, and not what you think you aren't." "We all have had hard times Brother Tony, we get how you are feeling," Thor added. "We're here for you," Natasha added. "That's pretty deep for Natasha," I thought to myself. "But you do need something to fix all that Tony. I never even knew about that," Bruce said. "That's a topic for a different time," I said trying to avoid the subject "are you guys going to keep reading that?" "Do you want us to?" Clint asked. I thought about that for a second. "Yeah, why not? You coming Pep?" I asked her and she nodded in reply. "Well then let's get back to it!" Fury said. We all made our way back upstairs and took our seats to start reading my autobiography again. - Don't forget to drop a review please!
