Entry #16:

Dragons love lap pillows, head scratches, and occasional naps. This is also true with the fae, harpies, and werewolves.

Note to self: I stand corrected. This is only true for Sky and not harpies in general. I have been in his era, and his fellow harpies are more active than him. Sun confirmed it.

Warriors stepped into camp with bundles of dry branches and tree logs ready for cutting. Wild had warned them of tonight's heavy downpour, so he volunteered to search for kindling for days to come. He dropped them on the side and called out.

"Hey, Rancher! Help me cut these."

The vampire lifted his head to see the said hero sitting cross-legged near the center. Wild happily lounged on his mentor's lap, his tail sweeping against the cut grass. He looked like a cat sunbathing by the windowsill.

"Sorry, Captain," Twilight said as he massaged the dragon's scalp with one hand. "I got Wild here."

The Hero of Warriors waved it dismissively, knowing how difficult it was to pry the Champion off when he had chosen someone as a pillow or dealing with an irritated dragon who was forced off his spot. Instead, he turned to Legend.

"Vet -"

"Nope." The merman pointed at the transformed selkie, who was napping on his lap. "Can't do it. Go to the Old Man."

The Captain huffed and pinched the bridge of his nose. His eyes flicked towards the elder werewolf, only to be betrayed by the sight of miniature Hyrule and Four curled on his legs.

"Seriously?"

Time chuckled, patting the two fae's heads with his fingers. "Sorry, Captain."

Warriors rubbed his face on his palms. He pivoted on his heel, searching for his only hope. "Sky? Where is -"

Sky - the fucking traitor - was cuddling with Twilight and Wild. The Rancher had shifted and used the harpy's wings as a pillow while the Skyloftian lay his head on the former's back. The Champion was draped across his mentor in an odd angle, blissfully uncaring for the change of position.

The Chosen Hero yawned wide, showing sharp teeth, and sleepily regarded the vampire. "Hm?"

"Where the fuck did you even come from?"

The other hero blinked at him. "Uhh…the sky?"

The Hero of Warriors opened his mouth and closed it. He decided not to question any oddity within this group. He did not think his sanity would take it for today.

"Come on, Captain." Sky coaxed. "Join us. Take a nap. Surrender and accept your fate."

"One of us." The other heroes chanted. "One of us. One of us."

The vampire decided that if this was what they were doing for the rest of the day, he might as well go along. He tugged his scarf off, sat beside a smirking Time, and opened his palms. "Give them to me. I'm taking a nap."
