Unfortunately, I have some irksome news for you guys. (See what I did there? Lol. Lame I know, but it is laugh or cry at this point!)

I always write my chapters on my smartphone in Microsoft Word. Then once the chapter is complete, I put it on my laptop, and edit it according to Microsoft Word's spell checker – then I will make the necessary changes if I don't like a sentence or whatever.

So the next chapter is on my phone, and my phone has stopped working. It won't turn on at all! I hooked it up to my laptop via the USB cable, in the hopes that I could just extract the document from the memory card. But I am getting no joy. I'm sending it off to be fixed tomorrow. Not sure how long it will take to fix. But as soon as I get it back, I will post the next chapter.

I don't want you guys to think that I have abandoned the story, as some of you have expressed that as a concern in reviews.

Sorry about the inconvenience. x

Edited: Dust, I don't live in the US. I am from a small town in the UK, but I have heard of Target. I guess that Maplin would be the equivalent to Target over here. And I apologize for the mix up; when you save a document in MS Word on a smartphone, it automatically saves to your phone's internal memory card. So the document is on the memory that comes with the phone, unless you move it to an external memory card. I will not be making this mistake again, otherwise I could have just put my external memory card in my sister's phone and hooked it up to the laptop.

Edited again: Dust, thanks for the suggestions. I have a Nokia smartphone. And nobody knows everything. I am just grateful that you tried to help. x
