Heart and Soul

3 Days Earlier…

"I'm just saying," Amy says as she is having a conversation with Cream and Tikal in front of her opened locker, "I think the school should also have some vegetarian and vegan courses. I mean, we can't always have meat and greasy fast food every day. That's just disgusting."

"Yeah, I couldn't agree with you more," Tikal remarks, "I've been a vegan for almost five years and I can't stand the cafeteria food anymore. Plus, I'm looking forward to share some of my favorite recipes to the school, like my tofu dumplings and veggie stir-fry."

Cream makes eye-contact with the eco-friendly female, "I actually liked your tofu dumplings. I don't know why your boyfriend made such a big fuss about it."

Tikal chuckles and shrugs, "Well, you know my Knuxie. He's a carnivore jock; he has to have 'real' protein in his system in order to play football."

Amy giggles back, "If you're a vegan and he's a carnivore, then why did you two date?"

"Opposites attract. Also, that's something I can't deny from him. I love him just the way he is." All three laugh together after the echidna finishes her statement.

Just then, their laughter stops when they hear someone calling,

"Ames," the three look up to see who it is: the Hedgehogs 5x and it was Sonic who just called her.

"Hi, guys," Amy responds.

Wanting to give her some alone time with them, Tikal and Cream faces back to the Rose for a second.

"See you later, Amy," Cream tells her.

"Bye," Tikal did the same.

Before they take off, Amy waves goodbye to them for now. Once they're gone (possibly went to go find Tails and Knuckles), she gazes back at the Hedgehogs 5x.

"So what is it this time?" She optimistically asks them.

With that, the Rose notices the tentative facial expressions on each and every one of them.

"Amy," The jock begins, "we were wondering if," he trails off.

"Yes?" She giggles.

"Well, um," By impulse, Sonic blurts out and points to his brother, "I think Manic is the one who should say it."

The rock-star did the same, letting out a laugh, "Me? Well, Silver's the smart one. He should tell."

"I'd rather let Shadow say it. He has more emotion than any of us," The prep frivolously remarks.

"Scourge should be the one," The dark joins the playful chain, "He great with the ladies." And he chuckles.

With the rebel being the last, he looks at them, "It's because of my superior looks, is it? I still think Blue should say it, he's the leader after all." He lets out his traditional smirk.

Once their roles have been randomly called, Amy replies with the same frivolous behavior as them; she couldn't stop giggling at their performance, "All right, enough with the chain. We could go on repeat forever, but we need to get to class soon. Now, what is it that you want to talk to me about?"

She looks at the leader, "Sonic? You're now the last one, so you tell me."

As he's attempting to hide his blush away, Sonic finally commences the news to break to her.

"Amy, since the 'Spring-is-Here Dance' is only three days away, we were all wondering if—" He pauses for a second and then clears his throat,

"Would you like to come with us to the dance?"

Amy is pretty surprised at this request. Personally, she has never been to a school dance before nor asked by someone to go with them. Guess this is her lucky day, though she's feeling a tad nervous about it—especially when five guys asked her all at once.

"All five of you?" She asks.

"Well," Manic responds, "Not exactly a six-way date of course, because that'll be just too awkward. More like a simple friends-only get together."

They gave her a moment to think about it. Seeing their shy and nervous expressions makes her want to think that she doesn't want to let them down if she rejects the invitation. She then makes her choice after one second.

"Sure, I'll come." The Rose smiles, "but are you all sure you can take me there? And it's just a get together, not a date?"

"Positive," Sonic says arrogantly, "would we ever lie to you?"

Amy chuckles back, "No, of course not, but my answer is still 'yes'. I was planning to go anyway as soon as I heard about it on the flyers."

She then takes out her phone, "In fact, I happen to have a dress that I can finally use for this event. Would you like to take a sneak peek of it?"

They positively answer incoherently,

"Sure."

"Okay."

"Great," she goes through her photo section in her phone, "Here it is." Then, Amy shows them the picture of her dress to the Hedgehogs 5x.

It's a short, strapless pink and black party dress—hanged on the doorknob of her closet in her bedroom. The black bodice is curved and designed with large silver rhinestones, while the dark pink skirt is about an inch above the knees and it's in multi-layered ruffles. Wrapped around the waistline is a black satin ribbon with a fuchsia bow.

"Well, what do you think?" Amy asks while still holding her phone up to them.

It's hard for them to answer because—they are just too stunned by the uniquely designed attire.

The Rose notices that they're temporarily paralyzed like the last time, presumably imagining her in that dress already. Their eyes are wide and their faces are in a deep shade of red. Watching them like this makes her laugh and she couldn't help it.

"I'll take that as a yes, you all like it," Amy chuckles once more before shutting off her phone and putting it away into her jeans pocket.

Afterwards, they finally snap back into reality.

"Wow, Ames," Sonic finally comments, "That was—beautiful. I'm sure you will look…" he pauses, trying to think of a perfect adjective for her. But then, the rest of the Hedgehogs 5x finishes it for him.

"Amazing?" is said by Manic.

"Gorgeous?" is said by Shadow.

"Sexy and hot?" is obviously said by Scourge.

"Pulchritudinous?" is said by Silver and everyone (barring Amy) has no idea what he's saying. The intellect-prep teasingly changes his answer, "Ok, dazzling?"

"Yes," Sonic says, "All of the above."

Amy lets out another warming smile after hearing all of their comments. "Thanks, you guys. You're truly the best."

Finally, she closes her locker and then the bell rings.

"Would you like to walk me to my class?" she asks them.

Of course, they all happily accepted. Once they got everything in their hands, the Hedgehogs 5x stroll with Amy all together, heading to her designated classroom.

What they don't know is that—Amy is planning to do something at the dance.

Two days have already passed.

Throughout these couple of days, the Rose has been spending her time working on her plan right before the dance night comes.

She has been talking to Rouge, Blaze, and Mina about the event over the phone, regarding if they're planning to go. Fortunately, they accepted the invitation—just as she perfectly anticipated.

What is her plan? She's going to set three of the hedgehogs with them. Amy figured that it's best if Shadow, Silver, and Manic would be better off with the three girls since they showed more deep feelings for them. She wanted to do what's best for the bat, cat, and mongoose after they showed how truly apologetic they were to her.

Now… tonight is the night of the Spring Dance.

After getting the dress on, Amy is currently sitting on her chair and staring at herself in the vanity mirror while she's applying some mascara on and doing her hair. She ties her waist-length quills into a casual bun and letting several strands of it flow loosely down. Since this is only a school dance, she doesn't want to go overboard. Deep inside, Amy is still feeling nervous.

"What do you think, Serenity?" She asks her fluffy white feline friend. Her cat, with a pink ribbon collar around her neck, happens to be sitting on top of the vanity and she's swaying her tail to and fro. She's staring straight at her.

"Do you think I look okay?" Amy asks her again. "Do you think the guys will like this?"

Meow

Serenity responds while tilting her head. Amy giggles when seeing the cutesy look on her pet.

"That's really adorable, kitty. And maybe you're right." She faces back at the mirror and then gets up from her chair. She has her eyes on her body and notices a change in her figure. Amy places both of her hands on her waist and she felt the difference—she gained some weight; she's still slender, but not too thin this time.

"I hope this is worth it. I've been battling it for a few weeks now and I've finally overcame my fear of gaining weight. I just hope that the self-pressure doesn't come back. I've made the promise to everyone about this and I'm going to keep it."

Meow

"Thanks." Amy replies to her meow while persistently staring at her reflection. "Although, I still have a feeling that I'm missing something. But what?"

When hearing the question, Serenity lets out a meow and a purr, grabbing her attention. Amy looks at her.

"What is it?"

The feline uses her paw to pat on her jewelry box, sitting adjacent to her on the vanity table. The Rose notices her action; she goes to her jewelry box and then opens the lid. There, she sees a silver heart-shaped locket—that once belonged to her mother before she passed away.

She takes it out of the box and holds it into her fingertips. She lets out a silent gasp when seeing the locket. Then, Amy is reminiscing all the times she had with her mother. Recalling the beautiful look of her façade is getting emotional for her to handle.

"This is mommy's locket and Emily decided to give it to me." Amy tells Serenity. "Serenity, are you sure I can wear this to the dance?"

Meow

She looks back at its pendant; carefully she opens it and then perceives that there's nothing inside. This slightly breaks her heart when comprehending that her mom has never applied any photos inside. Feeling somewhat lachrymose, the Rose closes the locket.

"I really miss her, kitty. You know cancer is very difficult to battle, but at least she never gave up."

Amy glances back at the locket and soon, her temporary sadness fades away. She lets out a warming smile, "If mom can stay strong, then I know I can too." She finally clips it around her neck and then stares at its beauty.

Subsequently, she looks back at her pet. "Serenity, what will I ever do without you?" And Serenity purrs against her for once more. Amy responds by caressing her head and back.

At that moment, Amy hears her sister calling from the first floor, "Amy! Your friends are here!"

Right away, Amy puts on her strappy black heels and then a short-sleeved pink shrug to cover herself. She takes her matching clutch bag from the closet doorknob and then applies the chain-strap around her shoulder. With everything complete, she exits the room as Serenity pounces off from the vanity and she follows her down the stairs.

Once she's down on the ground floor, Emily Violet takes a look at her. She's amazed at how Amy fixed herself for the night.

"Aww, look at my baby sister," Emily comments, "Looks like someone is ready for her very first school dance."

Amy chuckles nervously, "Thanks, Emily. So, where are they?"

The older sister steps aside for her sibling to see where they are: standing by the doorway. When she looked at them, she's completely stunned.

All five of them are dressed alike in their semi-formal attires. The only difference is that they each are wearing their own signature colors and some of them have additional garnish clothing.

Sonic is wearing a light blue collar shirt with dark blue pants while Manic is dressed the same as his brother, except with a light green shirt instead. Shadow is wearing a red collar shirt with a black tie, black pants, and a chain dangling below the belt-straps. Silver is wearing a simple white collar shirt with a formal aqua vest and dark grey dress pants. Finally, Scourge is wearing a white collar shirt, black pants, and a very formal black leather jacket. As for the footwear, they're all wearing black dress shoes.

Seeing the Hedgehogs 5x like this will sure get the attention from the ladies and make fan-girls scream like crazy. Not to mention, Amy is heavily drawn to their styles.

"Wow, you guys look," She pauses and swallows, "Great."

They smiled at her. "Thanks, you look more beautiful than ever." Sonic comments.

Serenity perks her head from behind Amy's legs and she perceives the boys. She narrows her eyes and then growls at them. She's either trying to scare them or possibly warning them not to do something to hurt her owner. They gaze at her back.

"Calm down, kitty cat," Manic tells the pet, "We're just taking her to a dance, that's all." Serenity continues to growl and glare at them.

After looking at the cat, Emily glances back at the five. "Before you take her, can you give us a moment first? I need to tell her something."

"Sure." One of the Hedgehogs 5x answered. With that, the adult hedgehog gestures Amy to come with her to the kitchen and she did.

The moment they walk together into the room, Amy begins. "What is it?"

Emily responds, "Amy, are you sure you want to go? Because I have a slightly bad feeling about this. I'm worried that something bad might happen to you ever since what those girls did to you."

"Yes, I'm sure. And don't worry, big sister. I'm sure that those two won't be at the dance at all. They're still in suspension and they're not even allowed to be near or enter the school anyway."

"You may never know, though. What if they—"

"Emily, trust me. I'll be fine, I promise. You don't have to worry about me. And besides, they said they're going to protect me no matter what circumstances. They always got my back, I know for sure."

There's silence. Emily takes a deep breath to wash the worry away. Then, she attempts to let out a smile, "Ok, I trust you. But just in case if there is an emergency, call me right away."

"Got it," Amy finally answers. After their conversation, they head out of the kitchen and back to the front door, where the boys are still waiting for the Rose.

As the two were talking, the Hedgehogs 5x passed the time by trying to tease and pet Serenity. Apparently, the cat is still not amused with them; she's still not used to being around with any male due to the fact that she's only raised by females.

"Pet the kitty, pet the kitty," Sonic baby talks while gently scratching her head. Persistently, Serenity is growling at them. She lifts her paw up and attempts to claw at them. Sonic immediately takes his hand away from her.

"She still hates us," Shadow says to them.

When noticing the return of the sisters, they glance back at them.

"So, are you ready or what?" Scourge asks.

"I'm ready." Amy answers.

"Just make sure she gets back just in time after the dance is over." Emily informs the five.

"We will," Silver remarks. "And just so you know, we're all driving there."

Finally, all six make their exit, exchanging their goodbyes to Emily Violet and Serenity, and they took off in Scourge's SUV with him driving to the school. Within several minutes, they were able to make it to the school with no hassle.

At the dance, the Hedgehogs 5x and Amy Rose have walked through the double doors of the gymnasium, which is where the event is taking place. As they take a glimpse around, everything is spring-related: there are pastel yellow and green streamers and balloons; artificial flowers, mostly tulips and daffodils, are taped around the walls; even the tablecloths are mixed with pinks, yellows, greens, blues, and purples.

All around, the students are either dancing on the floor, chatting, and eating by the course tables. The DJ is blasting some loud music and "Just The Way You Are" can be heard playing.

"I really like what they've done to this place," Amy comments.

The boys look at each other, "So what do we do now?" Manic asks.

"I think we should let Amy decide," Sonic responds. He glances at the Rose, "Ames, what do you want to do first? Eat? Dance a little?"

While they look at her, Amy is still glancing around the gymnasium, searching for whom she's expecting to come. There, at the far end of the room, are Rouge (wearing a slender red dress that shows her leg through the slit and matching heels), Mina (wearing a short black dress with straps and a ruffle-skirt and black heels), and Blaze (wearing a white dress with a lilac ribbon tied around the waist and transparent heels). When she sees the trio all gathered together, holding their drinks and talking, Amy lets out a subtle smile.

She then turns around to face to the guys. "Actually," She makes eye contact with the white, black and red, and light green hedgehogs, "Silver, Shadow, and Manic. Will you three come with me?"

The assigned three are perplexed.

"Why?" Silver asks.

"There's something that I want to show to you first," Amy then gazes at the blue and dark green hedgehogs, "Do you mind if I talk to them for a minute?"

"No, we don't mind," Sonic answers.

"I can wait," Scourge answers back.

The Rose turns and leads the three to the girls. Behind her back, Silver asks Shadow and Manic in a whisper.

"Do you know what she's up too?" The two males shrug. Soon, they made it to the ex-cronies.

"Guys," Amy greets the bat, mongoose, and cat. They return her greeting when they see her—and them.

"Hey, Amy," Mina commences.

After seeing whom she led to, the three hedgehogs widened their eyes, thinking that this is some kind of—set up they're reluctant to be into.

"Oh no," Manic says quietly. The Rose hears his comment and she gazes at them.

"Relax, Manic," she informs, "They won't do any harm on you, I swear."

"Rose," Shadow asks, "Why did you bring us here with them?"

With that, the female hedgehog informs everything—to set Shadow with Rouge, Manic with Mina, and Silver with Blaze.

All a meanwhile, Sonic and Scourge are standing next to the double doors, leaning against the wall, and watching what the four hedgehogs are doing over there.

"You know," Sonic begins a tête-à-tête with Scourge, "we don't always have to stand around while we wait. We can do something to pass the time."

"What are you thinking of doing, Blue?" The rebel asks.

The jock gazes around some more to find something until he spots two of his best friends and their girlfriends at the other side. He sees Tails (white dress shirt and dark jeans) and Knuckles (white collar shirt with a black tie and black dress pants) standing around and talking to Cream (orange and yellow flowy dress) and Tikal (strapless green cocktail dress).

"I'm going to talk to Tails and Knux for a while," Sonic informs, "See ya around," and he instantly takes off, leaving Scourge all alone.

"Wait!" Scourge calls out to him, "Don't leave me here! What the hell am I supposed to do?!" But the athlete couldn't hear him over the blasting music. Afterwards, he sighs and then gazes around to find at least someone or something.

Just then, the rebel already perceives a pink hedgehog in a flowy strapless black party dress and grey strappy heels—Rosy the Rascal. He notices that she's standing by the table all alone, eating something from a paper plate in her hand. With a closer inspection, he can see that she still has that melancholic look on her face.

On impulse, Scourge decides to go talk to Rosy. He gets to her and stood adjacent to her by carefully leaning against the edge of the table.

"Hey." He begins his own tête-à-tête with the Rascal. She tilts her head up to him.

"Hey." She responds as she sets her plate on the table.

"So…" He awkwardly trails off, ascending and descending his eyes on her attire, "You decided to come to the dance?" Again, he becomes lost in her appearance.

"Yeah, I didn't have anything to do, so I figured why not? I'll come."

"Why are you alone?"

Rosy went quiet for a second and she shrugs her shoulders. "I don't know. To be honest, I don't have that many friends and no one would want to ask me on a date. Maybe it has something to do with—me. I always think that everyone hates me because of my—" she pauses, trying to think of a word to substitute, "anti-social behavior."

Scourge is beginning to feel sympathetic for her, "Why would you think that?"

Rosy continues with more pessimism, "Because I hate being around with others. I just do."

He can feel his sense tingling, "I can tell that you're hiding something, I know it." She mentally gasps, "Now, tell me what's really wrong."

Before she could answer, she glances at her back to make sure that no one is behind her while she comes clean. She faces back to Scourge and gestures him to come closer to her. He leans off from the table and has his face close to hers.

She whispers in his ear, "I'm bipolar."

The rebel widens his eyes after hearing this. They part off and look into each other's eyes. Sadness is returning to her once again.

"Are you serious?" He says in a hushed tone with respect and she nods her head.

"And because of this, I've lost a lot of friends. It's so complicated to live with this kind of condition." Rosy informs while attempting to hold back her tears, careful enough to not mess up her eye make-up. Throughout the next minute, she talks about what it's like to live with manic depression and he listens to every word she says.

When she's done, Rosy looks down to the floor. Scourge—without thinking—gently held onto her shoulders for comfort. She looks back at him.

"I'm sure that you're not alone; everyone has these kinds of issues that they have to deal with every day." He pauses and then takes a deep breath before he finishes. "You know, for the first time in my life, I'm actually starting to feel really sorry for you."

"You do?" Rosy, already no longer feeling lachrymose, wonders. He nods.

"And not only that—I'm starting to get really attracted to you." Scourge concludes. This makes her feel touched in the inside and—she's starting to feel the same way as him.

There's another long pause and in between their moment together—the two is starting to have a connection with one another. After about half a minute or so, Scourge languidly lets his hands off Rosy's shoulders while the duo are still staring at each other's eyes.

Their moment abruptly ends, and they snap back into reality, when they hear the beginning of the song "Come and Get It". Both Scourge and Rosy groan loudly with nuisance, not wanting to hear anything from singers they truly and deeply despise. What they're about to know is something they have mutually.

"God, I seriously hate this girl so much," The bad boy rants under his breath. This caught the Rascal's attention.

"You hate that Selena-girl, too?" She says. "Same here."

Scourge catches her attention as well. "Yeah, she sucks."

"I know, right?"

They pause.

"At least that's something we already have in common," he says.

"True," the Rascal responds.

Sharing their mutual dislikes is already bringing the two together. Inexplicably, Rosy is letting out a smile—for the very first time. Scourge can see this and he smiles at her back.

"Hey, do you want to walk out for a while and get some fresh air or something? And ditch this lame-ass song?"

"Sure," Rosy responds to his invite.

Subsequently, the two make their way out of the double doors and they roam out in the hallways.

Back with Amy and the others…

"So overall, I hope you three understand that I do like you, though it's better off if we stayed just friends." Amy informs with honesty to the male hedgehogs.

The three completely understood every word she said, albeit…

"Amy," Silver begins, "We just want to thank you for your integrity, but," he pauses.

Shadow finishes off for him, "We're not completely sure if this is going to work out." He looks at Rouge, "I mean, no offense, but I'm kind of scared to get near you with your kleptomania." The bat lets out a scowl at that statement.

Amy notifies him, "Shadow, you don't even have to be afraid of that anymore. As the matter of fact, she's already rehabilitated from that."

The dark hedgehog looks back at Rouge again, and she nods.

"It's true," Rouge notifies back. "And if it'll make you any happier, I'll stop being self-conceited and narcissistic all the time."

Mina faces to Manic and notifies to him, "I know that I can be annoying towards you occasionally, but for you, I'll try to stop bothering you every time you're busy with something."

Manic is perplexed, "Really? Because when I said that you were annoying the hell out of me, I was only saying that out of irritation. I never really meant that." The mongoose lets out an apologetic facial expression.

Silver gazes at Blaze, "I supposed that you're sincere as well?"

She replies, "Of course. You see, throughout these days with you, I've been trying to get your attention by showing off how gifted I am as you. But then I realized that it was wrong of me to do that, and I should've wait until the right time comes. I'm truly sorry, Silver." She, too, gives him an apologetic look.

The prep felt genuine with her statement, "Actually, at the same time, I'm kind of impressed with your intellect. I still forgive you though."

"Seriously?" She replies softly and he nodded.

Amy sees this whole thing. "I guess my work here is done for now." She fully glances at Shadow, Manic, and Silver, "Honestly, I think you three should take the opportunity to know them more, rather than just assuming how you judge them. You may never know what might really happen." Then, she smiles. "Also, I have a feeling that you six might have a connection after all."

The male hedgehogs then stare into the eyes of their future soul mates—and she's right.

During that moment, Amy gazes at her back to check of Sonic and/or Scourge are still here. All she sees is Sonic, still talking to his buddies, and Scourge is nowhere in sight. Afterwards, she faces back at the six.

"I'm going to leave you be. See you all later." Then, she turns and strolls away from the group—heading straight to Sonic.

Doing so, Sonic perks his head over Tails' shoulder and he sees Amy coming towards him. The others turn around and gaze at her as well.

"Hi again," Amy says as she stood adjacent to Cream and Tikal.

"Hey," Sonic remarks with a blush.

"Hi," The rest of the gang did the same and she returns their greeting. Amy looks around some more.

"Sonic," she asks the jock, "Do you know where Scourge is?"

"I just saw him walking out with some girl," he remarks, "and unbelievably, she looks kind of like you?"

The Rose takes a quick mental note, "That must be Rosy," she says in her head. "Maybe Scourge has already found himself a special someone. Oh well."

She looks at the girls, "I have to say, I really love your dresses. You guys look great." Amy compliments.

"Thanks, you too," Cream compliments back.

"So Amy," Knuckles commences, "what were you doing over there?" He points to the six that she was previously with while the others gaze at them.

"Oh, nothing much," she answers, "Let's just say that I've did some matchmaking." She winks.

Tails notices their bonding, "Looks like they're getting along pretty well."

Tikal responds, "It's about time. I always thought Manic and Mina would be happier together."

"Yeah, they are." The Rose concludes, "So does Shadow and Rouge; and Silver and Blaze."

After the talk, Sonic gets closer to Amy. The two hedgehogs make a warming eye contact with one another.

"So, Ames," he held his hand out to her, "would you like to dance or a bit?" He tries to hide his blush away.

Amy accepts the offer, "Sure, I love to," she pauses, "But first, may I use the ladies room for a moment?"

"Sure," he replies.

She thanks him, tells the others that she will be right back, and then walk out of the double doors. She strolls through the corridors and then enters the nearest girls' bathroom. What she doesn't know—is that Amy Rose will be in grave danger.

Meanwhile…

Scourge and Rosy are outside of the school, sitting on the ground and leaning against the exterior brick wall. The two are staring up at the night sky, gazing at the moon.

"You know, this is actually a perfect spot to see the full moon," The rebel comments.

"I can see that," The Rascal replies, "Honestly, I'm glad that you brought me out here. This is so… accommodating."

Scourge looks at her under the fainting light, "Is that a good thing?"

She chuckles, "It means that I'm truly fond that you requested me to come here with you. Aside with that, I've never been this calm and happy before." He smiles back. Then, he wraps his arm around her shoulders.

Rosy is slightly confused at this gesture. She was about to pull herself away from his hold, but she quickly accepts it, "Are you sure that—you're not seeing someone? Not even going back to Fiona?"

Hell no, there's no way I'm going back with that bitch. Not after what she has done to me, and there's no way I can forgive and forget."

"I've heard that she cheated on you."

"Yeah, she did." He lets out a soft sigh in anger.

Thinking about his is breaking Scourge's heart—only a little. She then comforts him by rubbing on his upper back and he accepts it; already, this is ameliorating his emotions. The rebel breathes and then gazes into Rosy's sparkling eyes. He has a strange feeling that he's being hypnotized by her beauty.

"You know from this close," he says, "you look even more beautiful than ever."

"You really think so?"

Scourge lets out another smile, "I know so." The Rascal is touched by his comment.

He carefully touches her soft cheek with his palm and then—he brings her face closer to his. He ardently kisses her. The Rascal couldn't believe this, but she manages to kiss him back. For the very first time—she's feeling loved by someone.

During their moment together, there are sounds of some malicious snickering and footsteps. It sounded like intruders creeping around in the middle of the dance. This caught Rosy's attention.

Instantly, she opens her eyes and pulls herself from Scourge. He notices her altering reaction when she faces at the direction behind her.

"What's wrong?" He asks in concern.

"I think I hear something," she replies. "Wait here." With that, she gets up from the ground and scurries to take a closer inspection by leaning against the corner of the building.

There on the near-front of the school, she cannot believe who is sneaking in to the school: Sally Acorn and Fiona Fox. They're wearing the same black outfit together: a leather belly top, leather leggings, and black boots.

"Okay, Fi. Remember our plan," Sally informs to Fiona as they are below the opened window, "We go in, hit the lights so no one will see, find Amy, and then… we hit her with the dagger!"

Fiona replies, "Honey Acorn, you are a genius! Although, it sucks that this isn't a prom. I was going to dump pig's blood on that bitch and watch her suffer in front of thousands of people, just like in the movie."

"I know. But there's no way in hell I'm collecting a bucket of blood from a dead pig." Sally perceives the blade in Fiona's hand. It shone underneath the moonlight. "This is going to be so much better than just reenacting 'Carrie'."

"You're right, we have to be more original anyway," The chipmunk and fox looks back up at the window. Fiona finishes, "C'mon, let's get going."

The dyad used their strength to climb through the window and they managed to remain inconspicuous.

After witnessing this whole thing, Rosy lets out a shocking gasp. Suddenly, Scourge scurries to get closer to her.

"Rosy babe, what's going on?" He asks in worry. The female immediately and urgently faces to the male.

"Scourge, we have to go back inside the school and warn the principal!"

"Why?"

She warns him about Sally, Fiona, and their plan to attack Amy—with the dagger.

"Oh shit!" He says with shock.

"Come on! We have to go now!" The hedgehogs reenter the building and they make their warning before it's too late.

In the restroom, Amy is washing her hands after using one of the stalls.

"I know nothing can go wrong," She says to herself while doing her agenda, "I just know it. As long as I stay close to Sonic and the others, I will be fine." After shutting off the faucet, drying her hands, and discarding the used paper towels into the garbage bin—she leaves.

The second she's out in the hallways, Amy is simply minding her business as she strolls through the corridors and making her way back to the dance.

Just when she's about to make a turn around the corner—the lights abruptly shuts off. In panic, the Rose gasps and stops strolling. She has her palm lying flat on the wall.

"What the hell happened?" She says as she gazes around in fright. It's hard for her to see despite that there are some dimmed lights, though it's not enough for her.

"Hello?" Amy calls out in the air. "Anybody there? Hello?"

At that moment, she hears footsteps coming towards her. Her heart is racing rapidly. She can't even see who is coming to her—nor can she find her way out.

Finally, the two figures stood behind her.

"Why, hello there, Amy," One of them says eerily.

Amy Rose turns around—and then gasps.
