At the gymnasium, an adult Mobian, a grey wolf with amber eyes and in his dark grey suit, runs his way through the crowd of students. Running along with him, is also his assistant, a female adult white fox with blue eyes and she's wearing a white blouse, black jacket and matching pantsuit.
They instantly step onto the center stage. The female forces the DJ to stop playing whilst the male grabs hold onto the microphone. The music has stopped during the middle of a song, a loud scratching sound appears, and all of the attended students begin to complain.
"Everyone may I have your attention please." He says to the microphone. It actually took about a minute for them to quiet down. "This is Principal Walker and Vice-Principal Snow speaking. We are now on an urgent situation here. As of now, this entire building will be locked down."
Everyone is entirely confused. Walker hands the microphone to Snow as she speaks. "This is a serious emergency. Two suspended students have recently snuck into this building, both holding a dangerous concealed weapon. For your safety, NO ONE gets in or out from this school until the police arrive and capture the alleged suspects."
Now, the students are entirely scared and shocked. Walker takes his turn, "In the meantime, everyone must stay inside and stay calm. Also, be on a lookout for a couple of suspects holding a dagger or a large knife. If found, please inform us or report to the police as soon as possible. Thank you." Then, he places the microphone back onto its stand.
The dance-goers start to clamor in fright about this predicament.
"What the hell is going on?!" Knuckles exclaims.
"What did he just say the suspects are holding?!" Tails asks while trying to ease himself down from the anxiety.
"He said a dagger or a knife." Sonic answers. Cream and Tikal begin to panic as they held tight onto their boyfriends.
"Sonic!" The jock hears the familiar voice calling his name. He turns around and it's Scourge running towards him.
"What's happening?!" He asks him as soon as the rebel stood next to him.
"Did they make the announcement yet?" Scourge asks.
"They already did, just now." Tails answered.
"Good," he sighs. "You'll never believe who those suspects are and who they're going after."
With the others, three of the Hedgehogs 5x and their soul mates are panicking as well.
"Are they fucking serious?!" Manic exclaims, "A dagger?! Somebody brought a dagger to school?!"
"And two suspended students?!" Mina informs, "Doesn't that ring a bell?!"
They took a moment to logically find out who they are.
"You don't think that's Sally and Fiona, do you?" Blaze says to the group with her heart racing.
"Oh shit," Silver answers, "They better not—"
"GUYS!" Sonic frantically calls out as he runs to them with Tails, Cream, Knuckles, Tikal, and Scourge behind him. Everyone looks at him and he screams, "SALLY AND FIONA ARE GOING TO ATTACK AMY!"
"WHAT?!"
"It's true," Scourge persists for him, "Rosy, the girl I was just with, told me she saw the whole thing while we were outside! They just snuck into the school through the window and now they're on to get her!"
"Oh my God," Rouge says, "That poor girl is about to be killed by those evil girls!"
"Where is Rose anyway?!" Shadow asks.
Sonic answers in deep anxiety, "That's just it, she left to go to the bathroom, and now with no one else there next to her, she's going to be the target!"
"Well, what are we waiting for?!" Manic cuts in, "We have to find her and stop them before it's too late!"
"Let's go!" Sonic leads the entire group out of the gymnasium.
While doing so, Shadow sternly informs, "Someone has to inform her sister."
"I already got it." Silver answers as he puts his phone away into his pants pocket. "I already sent Emily Violet the text about it."
At the Rose and Violet home, Emily is in the living room, sitting on the couch and watching television with Serenity laying down next to her on the cushion, sleeping. While stroking her fingers through her fluffy fur, her phone vibrates.
Emily picks her phone off from the couch and she reads the message:
EMILY THIS IS URGENT! YOUR SISTER IS ABOUT TO BE UNDER ATTACK! PLEASE COME TO THE SCHOOL IMMEDIATELY! –Silver
Her eyes widened in terror; it's just like she predicted.
Shutting off the TV, Emily prepares herself. She quickly puts on her jeans and jacket, and then she runs out of the door. Hurriedly, she takes her keys out from her pocket and turns on her white BMW. She gets into the driver seat and then steps into gear as she drives away.
Back with Amy Rose, she's still standing in the same dark hallways. At least she can finally see the shadows of the dyad, and by listening carefully to their voices, she's able to make out who they are.
"What are you doing here?! I thought you're not allowed to enter the dance or the school property!" Amy sternly shouts.
"That's none of your business," Sally answers fiercely, "What's more important is that we finally got you under our hold and there's no way for you to escape now. You do realize that it was your fault that we're suspended and just for that, we're here to get back at you!"
Fiona cuts in, pointing the blade at her, "Also, there's no way that your friends or the hottie Hedgehogs 5x will come and save you. It's still two against one, slut."
Seeing the dagger underneath the shadow is scaring Amy; she can even see the point shine. Trying to at least make a run from it, Amy impulsively sprints around them—but she's not so lucky.
Sally harshly grips onto her upper arm, "Oh, no you don't!" Instantly, she pulls Amy back to the wall where she was just standing.
The pull is too rough and hard—she actually hit the parietal portion of her head and her back against the wall. Then, she falls on her bottom with her eyes closed; the pain is too real, Amy could've sworn that her skull and/or the bones on her upper back have broken—but miraculously, nothing is fractured (she'd be dead in seconds if that happens).
Amy listlessly opens her eyes once the pain eases. Albeit, she's still too vulnerable and hurt to get up and retaliate.
"Hold out your wrists, bitch!" Fiona snarls at her.
"What?" The Rose responds weakly.
"Don't make me repeat myself! Hold out your fucking wrists! Now!"
Sally grabs onto her hands and she before she lets go, she forces her to expose her shaking and fragile wrists to Fiona. The Rose has her eyes reclosed.
Then—something feels completely wrong. Very wrong. Fiona, in one quick swoop, has already swung the dagger—against her skin.
Amy can already feel two stinging sensations on both of her wrists. Something hot is dripping out of her skin and it has a metallic scent. For over a minute, she's crying and whimpering in agony. Afterwards, she languidly opens her eyes, though not all the way.
"This isn't real… this is a nightmare… it's only a dream… I know it…" She laments to herself while still crouching down on the floor. The hit on her head possibly made her assume that she's dreaming.
"If this isn't real, then why are you bleeding, honey?" Fiona screams at her. "You know how it works; you don't get hurt when you're in a dream, bitch. And, you're hurt, aren't you? So that means you're not dreaming at all!" Then, the tormenting fox lets out a shrill, devilish, wicked laugh.
"And also, doesn't this remind you of something, darling?" Sally joins in and then she laughs wickedly, just like her partner. She persists, "You are so weak. It's no wonder you couldn't defend yourself every time this happens to you. Why can't you stand up for yourself?"
Hearing this atrocity is hurting Amy. She's beginning to have traumatizing flashbacks of her past back in the institution. Patients were abusing her, from using words to using certain types of physical violence on her. The pain from the past is coming back.
The blood is running… it's dripping onto the floor and some are staining her beautiful dress… she's on the urge to pass out… and she's crying in deep pain.
"Please, stop… leave me alone…" she weakly begs.
"No! That is not enough!" The fox screams, "Not until you learn to fight back! Now… GET UP!"
She can't get up, not even an inch off the ground. After idling onto the floor, Fiona hands the weapon to Sally as she gets closer to the vulnerable Rose and she harshly grabbed her shoulders. She fiercely forces her to stand up and lean against the wall. This atrocity is scaring Amy as she is literally crying her eyes out—and blood is still visible in her hands.
To make sure that Amy doesn't escape, Fiona pins her shoulders securely on the wall—too secure, that she's nearly crushing her bones. Poor Amy Rose is writhing to escape from her grasp, but she has not enough strength to break free. Fiona lets out a malicious, sadistic smirk, for she enjoys watching the pain on her face.
With her incarcerated, the fox gazes at the chipmunk and she gestures her to do it now. With pleasure, Sally lets out a malevolent smirk, just like her partner, and she stood right in front of Amy. She holds the dagger up—pointing it at her side.
Amy can barely see it, for she is too overwhelmed due to the severe atrocity.
Before something drastic happens, there are sounds of rapid footsteps.
"There they are!" One of them calls out. The group then runs closer to them, but…
"Say goodnight, Amy Rose," Sally says in an eerie sing-song tone.
"NO!" The group tried to stop her—it's too late now.
Sally already makes her aim… forceful enough to make a 'thud' sound on the wall.
"AMY!" One of the male hedgehogs, or probably more than one, called out with a cry.
Then… Amy collapses onto the floor.
All they can do for now is sob in agony.
However…
When the lights abruptly turns back on by somebody unknown—what they see is not what they had expected at all.
The dagger is currently stuck into the wall and what's more surprising—is that it didn't even hit Amy at all. All Sally did is stab the wall, only barely touching her waist!
It was such a close call for the Hedgehogs 5x and the others—that Sally and Fiona didn't exactly kill her—just yet.
"Amy!" Cream cries out while she and Tikal both run up to the passed out Amy.
The rabbit stood on her right and the echidna stood on her left. They both held onto her arms to help her get up. Amy writhes a bit and then moans.
"Amy, are you okay? Are you hurt?" Tikal worriedly asks her.
"They… already did…" She responds weakly. Then, they look down at where her hands are. They gasped when they see that the chipmunk and fox has already used the weapon on her. Gazing at her slashed and bleeding wrists may be sickening to them, though nothing is going to stop them from aiding her.
Amy is still down on her knees and her head is down from feeling nauseous and dizzy.
"This is not over yet!" Sally claims. Cream and Tikal perk their heads up to gaze at them. "This is just the beginning!"
Sally yanks the weapon from the wall and hands it back to her partner. Fiona points the blade at Amy as she talks to the innocent two girls holding onto her.
"Now, both of you better get out, otherwise we might use this on you too!" The villainous fox shouts.
Tails and Knuckles gasp.
"Cream!"
"Tikal! Babe!" Knux cries out.
"Both of you, please get out of there!" Tails pleaded them.
Despite the threat from Fiona and the pleading from their boyfriends, Tikal and Cream refuses to leave Amy.
Right away, Sonic, Shadow, Silver, Scourge and Manic all ran and stood up front of the three, shielding them in defense. They begin to glare at the duo. All a while, the genius fox and the jock echidna witnesses everything. Same thing goes to Rouge, Mina, and Blaze, for they fear that their soul mates will be harmed as well.
"That's enough, you two!" Sonic shouts. "This is going too far!"
"You have already caused enough trouble here!" Silver did the same.
"And really?!" Shadow screams, "Do you really think killing someone will make you feel a lot better? Just because of your jealousy?!"
"That's just uncalled for!" Manic scornfully shouts, "You two seriously need help!"
"All of you better stay out of this!" Sally retaliates as Fiona still holds her dagger up to them. Still risking their lives to aid the Rose, the Hedgehogs 5x persisted their defense.
"If you want to hurt her, then you're going to have to go through us first!" Scourge exclaims.
After hearing this, Amy weakly picks her head back up. She's bewildered at the fact how deeply devoted the Hedgehogs 5x are to her.
Fiona is surprised at his retaliation, though—she happily accepts the offer despite that he and Sonic are the ex-lovers of her and Sally.
"With pleasure," She finally says as she and Sally step closer to the audacious five. Hearing and watching this is bringing more fear for the bat, cat, and mongoose.
"No…" The three girls lament as there is nothing they could do for them.
Just when they're about to harm them—more rapid footsteps appear from the further end of the hallways. There's also the sound of whistles blowing. The fox and chipmunk turn around after hearing what they just heard, and so did the others.
Right there—is Rosy the Rascal. Behind her are the cops, Principal Walker and Vice-Principal Snow. She has led them to where Sally Acorn and Fiona Fox are.
Everyone sees them. "Rosy!" Scourge calls out to her.
"That's them!" Rosy points to the duo with a hint of anger, "Those are the two I was talking about!"
After seeing the police officers and the leaders of the school, Sally and Fiona panicked with Fiona dropping the blade on the floor. Sally then glares at the Rascal.
"What are you doing?!" She yells.
Rosy persists as she tells the truth to the adults, "I caught them sneaking in while carrying the dagger and I've heard what they were going to do! They were going to use that to kill a student as part of some kind of revenge!"
This shocks Walker and Snow. "Girls, is this true?!" Snow sternly asks.
The duo stammers as they tried to come up with an excuse. "Well, we—"
"Yes, it true!" Sonic cuts in as he steps closer. "As the matter of fact, they already slit both of her wrists!" To prove it, he and his friends step aside to show them. They see Amy all passed out into Cream and Tikal's arms and there's still blood all around her.
Vice-Principal Snow gets closer to her. She checks her pulse by carefully setting two of her fingers on her neck. Even though Amy is still breathing and alive, she notices that she's not responding at all.
"And not only that," the leader of the Hedgehogs 5x persists, "We just saw them trying to stab her in the waist!"
The principal is deeply horrified.
Snow informs, "She's not looking so good." She gazes at Amy's best friends, "The ambulance is just outside, I need you two to take her there immediately."
They complied. Gently, Tikal and Cream aided Amy off the floor and they take her outside to the ambulance, located at the front of the school. Not wanting them to go alone, Tails and Knuckles follow them. Sonic, too, decides to go along since he's more worried for Amy.
Once they're out of sight, Rouge, Blaze and Mina all ran up to Shadow, Silver and Manic. They're just glad that none of them are hurt. The three then wrap their arms around their respective soul mates. While at it, Scourge steps closer to Rosy.
"You did good," Scourge comments her, and she thanks him.
"Are you three okay?" Blaze asks worriedly.
"We're fine, really," Silver calmly answers.
"What you did," Mina begins, "That was really heroic."
"What she says," Rouge says.
"Thanks," Manic and Shadow replies in unison.
"Alright, I think I've heard and seen enough damage," Principal Walker then glances at the cops and demands them, "Officers, take these two girls away!"
"What?!" Sally and Fiona complain.
While the officers handcuff their hands behind their backs and one of them picks up the weapon to insert into a plastic bag for evidence, Walker then gazes at his assistant, "And I need you to go get their files as well and put them up for expulsion." Snow complies as she makes her way to their office.
Finally, he gazes back at them, "Not only you two are arrested for attempted homicide on a student; you are also expelled for suspension disobedience and bringing a concealed weapon into this building! Once you're out, I never want to see you two here ever again!"
"But, sir!" Sally tries to fight back, "You can't do this to me! I'm on the damn cheerleading team!" She curses at him.
"Well, you should've thought about it before you bring a knife to school," He sternly responds.
"You should expel Amy Rose too!" Fiona persists, "That girl brought razor blades to school before!" Hearing this is worrying the gang; they truly don't want the principal to get rid of Amy, too.
Right away, they inarticulately claimed,
"No, she didn't!"
"She's lying, Principal Walker!"
"Amy's innocent! She would never bring anything like that to school!"
This angers the duo even more. "You fucking jerks!" Sally screams at them.
"That's enough out of you!" Walker demands, "Take them away!"
Right before the police can get rid of them, Fiona makes eye contact with Scourge. She pleaded,
"Scourge babe! I'm sorry for what I've done! Please, help me! Please, get me out of this!"
Before the rebel can answer, he glances at Rosy, whom is giving him the sad look, thinking that he's going to break her heart again. Quickly, he faces back at his ex-girlfriend.
"Sorry, Fiona, you're on your own now! We're permanently through!" He snarls at her, "In fact, I'm already seeing someone else." Then, he wraps his arm around the Rascal's waist. Rosy then laid her hands on his chest.
Fiona is angered by this, "What?! But, how can—"
"Bitch, please!" He growls back at her, "You bashed my motorcycle with a freaking baseball bat! Do you think I can forgive you that easily?! I don't think so!"
"Okay, that's it!" One of the officers shouts out, "Let's go!"
Shadow, Rouge, Silver, Blaze, Manic, Mina, Scourge and Rosy all continued to watch them writhe and complain as they get taken away. It will be the last time they will see them.
Finally, after this entire situation—Sally Acorn and Fiona Fox are out.
Outside…
With the lockdown being over, students from the dance have gathered all over the front of the school to watch the chipmunk and fox get taken into the police car. There's some incoherent commotion going on.
At the ambulance, the paramedics have finished applying the bandages on Amy's wrists. She's now recovered from her unconsciousness and she's currently sitting on a gurney.
"Will she have to go to the hospital?" Sonic worriedly asks one of the paramedics.
"No, that is not necessary. She will be alright. All she needed was a quick treatment since the cuts are not even that deep."
Sonic, Tails, Cream, Knuckles, and Tikal all glance at Amy. The Rose returns their gaze.
"Are they really gone for good?" She asks them.
"It looks like they won't be in this school for a long time," Tails informs when seeing the police cars.
Amy sighs in relief. Then, Sonic checks his phone after feeling it vibrate, "Make that forever, bud. I just got the word from Manic that Sally and Fiona are expelled for good."
Now, everyone is relieved about the news.
"Good, now we don't have to worry about them taking over anymore," Knuckles says.
At that moment, a feminine voice calls out, "Amy!"
They turn to see Emily Violet running towards them.
"Emily!" Amy calls back. The two sisters hug each other into their embrace. Emily is halfway close to crying for almost losing her sibling.
"I got here as soon as I heard! I tried to get in, but they wouldn't let me!" Emily breaks the hug to make full eye contact with Amy.
"That's because the school was in complete lockdown," Tikal answers.
"Is she hurt?"
"Just her wrists," Creams sadly responds.
Emily sees the bandages on Amy's hands and she's about to sob.
"Emily, I am so sorry," Amy claims in a sad tone, "I was wrong. I should've listened to you in the first place."
"No, Amy, it's not your fault at all." Emily lays her hands on her shoulders, "You just don't know what to expect. All I know for sure is that you are safe now."
Then, the older sibling notices the necklace on Amy's neck. She lets out a smile, "I'm guessing mom's locket actually protected you from harm."
Amy looks down and she sees the pendant. She recalls Serenity telling her to wear it to the dance earlier this evening before she left the house. Presumably, Serenity must've been the one who knew that something like this would happen and she told Amy to wear it—as some kind of spiritual shield.
The Rose lets out a smile once again, "Yeah, you're right. She really did save my life." Emily carefully let her hands off her shoulders and then she gives her a warming kiss on the head.
Sonic gets closer to Amy as he carefully holds her hand, "Ames," She looks at him. "Before something else bad happens to you," He pauses.
"Yes?"
He gulps to ease away his nervousness. "I was wondering if… it will be okay if… you'll be my new… girlfriend?" He smiles warmly even though he still feels sad in the inside.
Amy is touched and she, too, lets out a warming smile. "Yes. Of course, I will, Sonic the Hedgehog."
Lastly, the two hedgehogs hug. Emily watches this moment and she couldn't be any happier for her.
By the time, they broke off the hug, they were about to kiss, albeit…
"Sonic," Tails and Knuckles cut in the middle of them, interrupting their moment. Knux continues, "Dude, everyone's going back to the dance and the night is still young."
Sonic looks at Amy, "Do you want to go back in?"
She looks back at Emily, "Can I?"
"What's stopping you?" Emily remarks with a grin, "Go on ahead, baby sister." Sonic happily helps Amy off the gurney.
"Come on, let's go." He says.
With Tails holding hands with Cream and Knuckles holding Tikal's, the two couples run back inside.
Sonic and Amy Rose follow them, hand to hand, and Emily Violet watches them until they're out of sight—before she heads home safe and sound.
