Here's to Us

One evening, precisely one night after the Spring Dance and the unforgettable near-tragedy, another event is being held. This time, it's created by the team themselves rather than the school. Instead of the outdoors of Chaos High—it's at Station Square Park.

The event: Stargazing.

Station Square Park happens to be the perfect spot for everyone to sit on the grass and watch the night sky filled with shining bright stars. Not just stars though—it's also the night of the meteor shower.

As the entire team stroll together on the grass and incoherently talking with one another about the night, they begin to gaze up at the diamonds in the sky. Before they move any further up, they temporarily stood on the little hilltop.

They stop and stare—while holding onto their compatible soul mates. As the stars are sparkling and glowing, all seven couples are too astonished and amazed to keep their eyes away from the view.

They are:

Manic and Mina. The rock-stars and singers.

Scourge and Rosy. The rebel and the former loner.

Shadow and Rouge. The dark and the glamorous.

Silver and Blaze. The intellects and preps.

Knuckles and Tikal. The jock and the environment-saver.

Tails and Cream. The genius and the innocent sweetheart.

And lastly…

Sonic and Amy. The all-star athlete and the mysterious rose.

With only a few minutes until the meteor shower starts, six of the couples start walking down the smaller hilltop and they head off to the bigger one for a better view that is only a few yards away.

That leaves Sonic and Amy all alone for now.

Before they join the others, the smiling pink and blue hedgehogs look into each other's eyes.

"Here's to us," Amy warmly tells him.

"Here's to never breaking apart," Sonic tells her as well.

With that, he wraps his arms around her waists whilst she wraps hers around his neck. They pull themselves close and finally—they share their first kiss together.

Their kiss is very ardent and it lasted about half a minute. During their kiss, they could have sworn that sparks are flying and their hearts are becoming one.

After 30 seconds, they broke off and gaze at one another before she lays her head against his chest. He returns the embrace by keeping one arm around her waist and stroking through her quills with the other. Together, they look up at the sky once more.

At that moment, they hear one of their friends shouting, "It's starting!"

Right away, Amy lifts her head off Sonic's chest. They can already see meteors gleaming down.

They gasp at the gorgeous view. Sonic looks back down at Amy and she returns his glance.

"Come on, let's go." He gleefully says as he holds her hand.

"Alright." She replies with an adorable giggle, which happens to be his personal favorite sound.

Lastly—Sonic the Hedgehog and Amy Rose make their way back to the group, holding hands, and joining their friends in their stargazing event.
