Harry returned to the manor and his daughter when Molly was gone. He knew he needed to end things and soon with the man. He had been a prisoner of the war and of Albus most of his childhood. He would not allow the same thing to happen to Bree. She would have had a normal life back in Canada he knew. But even if he had got the cure there, he didn't want her raised there. He wanted her to have her Uncles, and to grow up in the country her dads were from. He wanted her to attend Hogwarts with her cousins when she was old enough. And more than that, he wanted home for himself as well. He was from England, and he was not going to be driven from his home, by the likes of Albus again. The man had controlled lives and destroyed them for too long now. Harry would make sure the man was taken down and never got back up again.

Harry knew the man would try to use his daughter if he couldn't control Harry. Harry made sure his daughter would never fall in the man's hands. His parents had thought that two guardians, unfortunately one a wolf, was enough. Harry would not stop with that.

Harry was at the ministry finishing up paper work with Cornelius when there was a knock. "Enter."

The minister's assistant entered. "He has arrived."

Cornelius nodded. "Thank you."

Harry stood. "I guess it is time."

Cornelius stood. "I will walk you down."

"He will come after you."

"I am prepared."

"Lucius said he would meet me…"

Lucius' voice cut him off. "Behind you."

Harry turned. "I didn't realize you were both coming."

Draco smiled. "I am standing in for my Uncle."

Harry was reminded. "He is Lord Prince."

Lucius agreed. "He is of course busy at school."

Cornelius looked at Draco. "You will need official proxy even if his heir…."

Draco showed the papers. "No worries."

Harry motioned. "We should not be late."

Severus may have been a half-blood, but like Harry he came from an old-blood family. His mother had been kicked out, she married a muggle and not muggle born as James had, but her son had not been cut off. When his Uncle died, Severus was Lord Prince, something few knew. He didn't see having children, and he named Draco his heir many years before. Harry thought the man and Remus were close to dating, but even then, neither could carry a child of their own. Teddy would be the only child they may share, and Draco was his godson. Oddly Teddy was an heir already. The Lestrange estate had passed to Andromeda, Bella's next of kin, when she died. Rodolphus had only had the one brother, both dead in the final battle, so Andromeda had been the heir. Andromeda had given Harry the proxy, so he could vote for the Lestrange seat.

Albus was not happy when he had been summoned to the ministry. Severus and the other heads were at school, as they had a part in all of this. Severus would not have been there anyways, he had no desire for politics, happy to leave it to Draco. Albus had no idea what this was about.

Albus saw Harry. "Harry."

Harry smirked. "Albus."

The man tried to hold him. "I didn't expect to see you here."

Harry smirked. "Forgot our reunion already?"

Albus didn't pull back. "I was in shock Harry."

Harry didn't buy it. "Shock is what you call it?"

"You had come back from the dead, a shock to all."

"Yet you ordered me from the school."

Albus sighed. "I worried there may be a commotion."

Harry smirked. "You were worried you'd be trampled."

"I know there are some misunderstandings…."

Harry smirked. "Oh no, everything is crystal clear now."

Albus looked. "This little meeting…."

Harry smiled. "I called it."

"You?"

Lucius reminded him. "I told you, Harry is our new head."

With that, Harry and the others walked into the room and left the man in the hall. Albus had been summoned but he was informed, he could only be there for part. He would be given a chance to defend his actions as headmaster, before they took the vote. But he would not be allowed to be there for the vote itself. Only members of the board were allowed to be in the room, and Albus was not a member. There had been headmasters in the past who had been granted a life time seat when they retired, but Albus was not one. Only inherited seats, were lords.

Albus entered the room. "Must be serious."

Cornelius was at his side. "Did you doubt that?"

Albus smirked. "Got the whole body to sit."

Harry looked up. "Needed, for this kind of vote."

Albus turned to him. "Vote?"

Another spoke. "To oust you as headmaster."

Albus was angry. "You would never do this."

Lucius reminded him. "We have before."

"This is not the war."

Lady Goyle smirked. "Yet you act as it is."

Albus turned to her. "Your brother dead yet?"

Her brother, Greg's dad, had been kissed but survived. "My husband, our children and even my nephew had no part."

Albus sneered. "We all know your families were all involved."

Harry spoke. "It is not their actions we have come to discus."

Albus glared at him. "You have no grounds to oust me."

Harry looked at Lord Bones. "Read the charges against the headmaster."

Albus stared at them as they read all of the preposterous accusations. Of course he had done them and more. He was their leader and needed to win the war. While perhaps he had profited from time to time, he had done what was needed to be done. These old bloods were just worried as they knew he wanted to oust them. He noted the charge of embezzlement of school funds had been added and wondered how they found out. These were charges from the school board and he was not being arrested by the ministry. He was not about to be forced to retire due to these. The war was won and they were safe because of him. And that was all he was willing to say, knowing he could not really deny the charges.

Harry motioned to the door. "You can leave. You are not allowed during the vote."

The vote was pretty simple. It was not unanimous, even with all the evidence against the man. There were members of the board who were loyal to the man. They either thought he had done what was needed, or worried about his continued power. But more than three quarters of the board voted in favor of forcing him to leave the school, and only half had been needed. They planned to have criminal charges pressed next, but this was a start. Harry was relieved that it had gone through even though he had been assured it would. But he had learned never to take things for granted until it was done. Albus was a man who had wormed his way out of things many times in the past, including death.

They were really not surprised when they learned the man had left the building. They had no doubt he had headed for school, and were on their way as well. Kingsley accompanied them, the man not under arrest yet, but he would be removed from the school.

Albus stormed into his office but was shocked. "What are you doing in here?"

Mine Vera looked. "I could ask the same."

Albus glared. "That is my chair."

Severus smirked. "Not for long."

Filius agreed. "It seems to be vacant."

Albus glared. "What do you know about it?"

A voice came from behind. "We let them know."

Albus turned. "How did you get here…?"

Harry finished for him. "So soon?"

Poppy stood by him. "I opened the floo."

Lucius added. "The vote didn't take long."

Albus spat. "Not surprised."

Harry smiled. "Then you shouldn't be surprised, you are out."

Albus spat. "It will not last."

Harry motioned. "Kingsley will see you out."

Albus was furious. "This is my school, I am headmaster."

Harry looked at Minerva. "The board would like you to take over officially."

The woman nodded. "I'd be honored. I will do the school proud."

Albus found that he was being forced to leave and informed his things would be sent on. He had no idea where he was meant to go. His brother would never take him in. He had signed the family home over to his brother with the bar, the reason Aberforth had not lost it. And Harry had already taken all of his money from him as well. The money that was known, he had of course been skimming money for years, and had it hidden. He had used it for work he needed done, and now he assumed he would live off it, till he got the school back under his control. He had a safe house or two, but nothing that he had ever imagined living in. He never thought he would be lowered down to this level.

Harry walked with them though he did not speak to them until they got to the gates of the school. Harry performed a spell he had been taught, to change the wards to the school. They would ensure that Albus never entered the school. The only other way, was through centaur lands.

Albus smirked. "It won't keep me out."

Harry shrugged. "You can try."

"Voldemort got through, I….."

Harry laughed. "The wards are stronger."

Albus didn't back off. "I will get the school back."

Harry turned to go. "Enjoy your retirement."

Albus called. "The governors and Wizengot will come down."

Harry turned back. "Careful Albus, sounds like treason."

Albus came towards him. "You will help me."

"Help you? Only one of us has lost our marbles."

Albus grabbed him. "You know I am right."

Harry pulled back. "I am not the child you fooled."

"No, but you are a man who knows the magic they wield."

Harry agreed. "I am a member."

Albus smirked. "You never wanted to go into politics."

"Going to convince me to be an auror?"

Albus smiled. "You can be my assistant, I will groom you to take over one day."

Draco answered as Harry laughed. "The governors offered to make him headmaster."

"So see Albus, you have nothing to offer, that is not already mine."

The man was not headmaster and he could offer no such thing at the school. Harry had considered working at the school many times before. The governors had indeed offered to make him headmaster. He had turned it down though. He was not even a teacher and he had no experience. The school should be lead b someone who had devoted their careers to it, and who cared about the kids. Minerva had been assistant headmistress for over twenty years, and the job should be hers. Filius had more seniority, but he as always turned it down. Severus would be assistant for now. Harry and Remus were both up for suggestion to teach though. DADA was never permanently filled and transfiguration would need a new one.

Albus called. "What about your daughter?"

Harry turned back. "What do you mean?"

"I heard you have a little girl."

"I should have known."

Albus smiled. "Molly was hurt you'd not let her hold Fred's daughter."

Harry spat. "She is not the woman's granddaughter."

Albus reminded him. "She should have plenty of family."

Harry snarled. "She has plenty."

Albus got in close. "You have a lot of power Harry."

Harry smirked. "Stating the obvious?"

Albus shrugged. "If you were to die, she would inherit them all."

Harry understood. "And she is a minor."

Albus agreed. "Her guardian would have a lot of power."

Harry growled. "And you think you'd be her guardian?"

Albus shrugged. "I was yours."

Harry didn't need reminding. "You will never touch her."

Albus whispered. "You either start playing nicely, or I will make sure she is mine. Or at least Molly's and you know she is loyal."

Harry smirked. "Trust me Albus, you'd have to go through an army to get at my child. You will never touch my estates again."

With that, Harry and his companions headed back into the school. Harry had named an army of guardians. Remus and Oliver remained top of the list. But George, Bill and Fleur, Charlie, Viktor, Neville and Luna, Xeno and even Augusta were all on the list. Even Fleur's parents and Viktor's parents had made the list. The Malfoys and Andromeda were not forgotten of course, and Severus. His daughter had an army of protection, there was no way Albus or Molly would ever claim her. He wanted her raised by people he trusted, and he had ensured that she would.

Draco squeezed his arm. "The guardians won't be needed. You will raise her, I will help ensure that."

Harry turned slightly to smile at Draco and returned the touch. "Thank you."
