Hope you enjoy this chapter. This chapter has a dance routine we did this past June. I wasn't the head dancer though DON'T OWN BOONDOCKS!
The alarm clock went off at the same time. Huey nearly punched it off the nightstand he was so agitated by it. But as he laid back down he noticed something. He didn't feel the same weight on his chest from when he fell asleep. He looked over to his right and saw what he was searching for. A slender, angular and caramel – colored back was shown to him, poorly covered by the light grey sheets that stopped right at the curve of her hip. He sat up a little bit and scooted up behind her.
He glanced at the sleeping beauty before him, taking in all her majesty as if he was memorizing every feature, the way her long eyelashes rested on her cheeks, her tiny nostrils slowly opening and closing, her chest and ribs expanding as she breathed, and the way she softly groaned as air escaped her lips. She was laying on her side away from him, her inside arm resting on the pillow parallel to her face, and the other resting in front of her, covering her breasts. GOD! She was so beautiful. He couldn't help it.
He softly grazed his hand over her hip, where the sheets lay, savoring the touch of her soft, silky skin. His hand got closer to the rim of the sheets where it stopped right at her hip bone. He teased her hip bone by softly grazing his finger over it, slowly pulling the sheets lower. He leaned his face closer to her down to her cheek, taking in her intoxicating scent. He then slowly pecked at her neck, tasting her soft, sweet skin. Jazmine let out a soft moan as she started to wake.
"…mmmm….Huey…what are you doing?" she asked sleepily.
"Just givin ya a small wake up call," he answered sucking her neck a bit more earnestly.
Jazmine bit her lip and sighed. He reached around her and pulled her back up against him, reaching his hands in between the sheets and nearly getting to her center. But she got a sudden flashback of the night before, or more like early morning before. It all came back to her and she jumped up off the bed in a quick flash, breaking out of Huey's embrace.
"Jazmine, what's wrong?" Huey asked confusedly.
Jazmine didn't even answer. She just shielded herself with her hands as she went to the closet and got out a towel. She shielded herself with it and wiped her hair out of her face.
"Jazmine!" Huey softly shouted.
"What?!" Jazmine said a little too loud. Huey jumped back at her in shock. Jazmine clamped her mouth shut with her hand quickly. "I'm sorry, Huey," she started. "I d-didn't mean ta…"
"Ok, Jazmine," Huey interrupted. He's had enough of this. He reached over the bed and picked up his boxers on the floor. He picked them up and put them on under the covers. "There's obviously something the matter and I want to know now!" he stated getting up off the bed, walking to her. "This is getting out of hand. You are losing sleep over something and I want to help."
"Huey, there is nothing. wrong!" Jazmine said sternly.
"Jazmine that's bull," he retorted sternly. It was Jazmine's turn to jump back from sudden shock. "You just recoiled from me when in all reality, if I was doing what I was doing to you a minute ago on a regular day, you would have taken me with no hesitation," he said softer but still stern. "Now all of a sudden, after what we did last night you don't seem interested anymore. You're right back to where you were yesterday morning."
Jazmine glared at him. She was getting really agitated. "Huey, I just didn't feel like doing it is all!" she half – lied. "I'm just a little tired is all and I'm not in the mood."
Huey gave her a 'really?' look.
"Don't give me that look. I have the right to be tired," she defended. "Have you forgotten that we have had sex for the past 4 nights in a row!...almost 5 times each!"
Huey just inwardly smirked cockily, but did a terrible job at hiding it.
"Don't be getting cocky either," she said looking him up and down. "I just thought that I need a break is all. I'm not some carnival ride that you can just come along and get a thrill out of whenever you want. I have things called pride and dignity and if you can't respect that…."
"Jazmine you're lying," Huey interrupted again. Jazmine's nose was starting to flare up. "Don't give me that guilt trip. I know when something is wrong and that isn't it. Just tell me," Huey said.
"Well I told you the truth," she said stubbornly. "And if you can't accept that then that's your problem," she said walking out of the room.
Huey just stood there wondering what the hell just happened. This isn't the Jazmine he knew. She was going through something and not just any something. This must have had to be pretty deep if it affected her like this…and towards HIM as well. But what if that was it? What if the dilemma involved him? Was someone spreading some kind of rumors about him or trying to drive Jazmine away from him? He hoped not. When he heard the water running in the bathroom, he decided he might as well get ready. He was going to get to the bottom of this one way or another
"So what did you do wrong?" Riley asked putting a scoop of Fruity Pebbles in his mouth. Really? Huey already heard this from Cindy and now him?
"Why do ya'll do that?" Huey said spreading organic strawberry jam on his whole-grain toast. "I..did…nothing..wrong!"
"Well obviously you ain't hittin dat right if she keep avoidin you," he said. "I mean," he shrugged cockily. "I wouldn't know how it feels ta not hit pussy rightbut…OWW!" Riley was interrupted by the jam lid hitting the side of his head. "Why you always hatin nigga!"
"What is going on down here?" asked Jazmine coming down the stairs. The boys turned their heads and their jaws dropped.
Jazmine had on short shorts that faded at the bottom, a white, cup sleeved tie front shirt that only came to her mid rib area, and under that a navy blue tank top. Her hair was straight and in a long side ponytail with a roman braid going across the front of her head into the ponytail. She had on a bit of extra make up, just a bit of dark brown eyeshadow lining her eyelashes that faded into a lighter brown going up her eyelid, along with some simple eyeliner and mascara that brought out her blazing emerald eyes. She had on knee-high, navy blue and white striped socks and black coverse. She was looking MIGHTY fine today.
"Take a picture it'll last longer," she said sitting down on next to Riley.
"No problem," Riley retorted taking out his phone. Jazmine just giggled and smacked it out of his hands and onto the counter. "I was just playin damn!" Jazmine just shook her head and rolled her eyes.
"You okay there Freeman?" Jazmine asked the staring afro boy, who just had a piece of half eaten toast in one hand and a butter knife in the other. Huey snapped out of it quick.
"Oh…err..um…yea," he stammered. Jazmine giggled at his off-guard look. "So why the stunning outfit?" he asked looking her up and down lustfully.
"It's a surprise," she said in low soft tone catching on to his look.
"When will I get the surprise?" he asked back stepping a little closer to her.
"You and Cindy will find out soon enough," she answered stepping closer to him.
Riley was just looking at the two like..wtf? "Ya'll two are too much for me," he said shaking his head.
It was last block at the high school and right in the middle of class, the announcements came on.
"Hello students, this is your principle speaking. In a few moments, each class will be dismissed to the gymnasium for the End of the Year Prep-Rally."
Huey got a realization look on his face. 'So that was what she meant,' he thought.
"I'd like to go over the rules with you real quickly before we start,"
The whole classroom gave groans and muttered impatiently.
"Please no unruly behavior or inappropriate chants towards other classes. No degrading or booing any activities or performances on the gym floor, and no…Senior….pranks!" he emphasized on the last rule. "Now please all Seniors to the gymnasium please."
Huey was the first to bolt out that door. He went down a couple highways until he finally came to the gym. He met up with Cindy at the door.
"What are you doin here 'Sophomore'?" he teased. "Aren't you supposed to be waiting with your class?"
Cindy smacked her lips. "Nigga I don't give a fuck bout no damn classes!" she retorted. "I'm tyna see my Jazzy get down just as much as you are," she teased back. Huey shifted uncomfortably. "Yeaa I already know yo reason of bein here."
"Shut up," he muttered as he glared and walked to a seat in the bleachers.
15 minutes later, the whole school was in the gymnasium and Huey was sure he had the best seat in the house. The Tech Club then broke out some music on the speakers to get everyone hype. The speakers blared Drake's 'The Motto' as students grooved and danced in the bleachers.
"Awhhh shit dis mah jaaamm!"
"Ooookaay!"
"Hella yeaa TURN UP!"
Next came on Pop That by French Montana. Students started popping their fists and their arms above their heads in unison.
"DON'T STOP POP THAT DON'T STOP!"
"DROP DAT PUSSY BITCH!"
"WHOOO POP DAT!"
Huey just stood there like 'really'?
The president and vice president then came onto the floor calming everybody down. They announced the Varsity Girls Soccer Team for finishing 2nd in state and the Varsity Boys and Girls Track team for finishing 1st. Then the cheerleaders came out and did a routine with the beat of the drumline. Everyone rocked to the beat of the drumline, following the chants of the Cheerleaders.
As they exited the floor, the president came out again.
"And now for the finale event! Put yo hands together…for the J. Edgar Hoover UDA Starlettes!" he announced. Everyone whooped and shouted.
The back double-doors flew open and Beyonce's Crazy In Love blared through the stereos. They stepped to the beat of the trumpet intro, with their hands on their hips swaying in a sensual and saucy manner. Huey spotted Jazmine instantly. She was in the very front and very middle of the girls, who also had on the same outfits but different shades of blue. Her body was just mesmerizing and her hips!..my gawd!

The girls stopped in their positions with Jazmine in the front.

They shimmied their shoulders to each beat and when they got to the side they dipped their hips to the other side and did it all over again. When the melody picked up again, they started walking their saucy manner this time even closer to the bleachers.

They brought their hands up to their eyes one at a time and popped them down in front of them with their body following them. They started their hands at their chest and brought it down their stomachs, with their hips swaying side to side. They held up their hands with a 2 then 3 stepping over to the left and fell to the floor.
The DJ did a little mix into the chorus. The sketching was followed by break dance moves from the girls.
The audience was going crazy for them. The boys were just drooling over the talented ladies, but most of all what they were wearing and how hot their bodies looked. Huey just glared at most of them.

They waved their heads in a circle causing their hair to go crazy. They did a ticking motion with their hands as their hips followed. Then they did the hip hop move Beyonce did in the music video. And Jazmine thought she would get a little freaky with it. Yes, I'm talking the licking of the thumb, as she brought it down her body. The boys just LOST it when she did that. She was the only one who added that extra move. Huey could look away. She was KILLIN it.

And of course, the signature move of the song, they just had to do it. Each of them turned around with their hands on their knees and backs arched. They popped their backs making their bottoms rise and fall with the beat. They then stood up and rose their arms above their head with the same popping of their behinds. Jazmine added a little swirl to hers at the end. Then they went vibro butt on it for the last phrase of uh ohs. The boys were now getting way to wild. Some of them fell out of the bleachers they couldn't take it.
The DJ then did another sketch of mix bringing the song to Baby Boy.

The girls all did their own individual belly dance-type moves to the seperated beats, Jazmine moving most fluently and should we say…sexually. Huey didn't know how much he could take before he just flew out on the floor and took her where she stood. As if she read his thoughts, Jazmine found Huey in the bleachers and made dead eye-contact with him.

The girls all moved in slow sync as they swayed their bodies up and down. They pushed their bodies forward as they fell to the ground on their hands and knees. One knee was out to the side while the other was bent beneath them. The flared their arms out and then back in, popping their chest and back. Then they stood back up and surrounded Jazmine for her solo….oh great. Jazmine looked back at Huey for this one.

She crouched down with legs slightly spread apart. She brought herself up slowly swaying her hips side to side as she rubbed up and down her body. The rest of the girls followed her for her next sequence of moves for MY baby's fly baby oh. Then they all stood in a stance again. She made a 'yes' face and a 'no' face while she waved her body in a break dance kind of fluid motion. The girls then air pounded her chest as she popped it up and down. She wrapped her arms around herself as she swayed from side to side then dove down to the floor. She lifted her head, with her hair following, never leaving eye contact with him. She rose her chest for Let me breathe and the girls swayed their arms back and forth as she swung her head side to side following their arms.
Huey was really starting to get dizzy….

They popped their chest and swung a leg out and around them and did the same with the other. They licked their hands and brought it down their chest and stomach as they rolled their bodies. They did a sensual type of jazz square and shimmied their bodies.

Then they did the same choreography in the music video when they popped their backs and chest, and flung their arms behind them, rotating each time. Each time Jazmine rotated her head, she would make eye contact with Huey. Huey gave in and bit his lip looking her up and down. Jazmine just smirked at him back.

They then did the same choreography in the music video again, swinging one arm around their head and to their chest and then around their head and out, stepping with the same leg in which their arm was pointing in that direction.
The girls all then ran in a circle and got ready for the next song. At this point the girls were dead tired and everyone was starting to wonder if they really were. They were ab..so..lute…ly KILLLING IT!. But they were used to it. They just kept dancing.
Single Ladies then came on through the speakers. Of course they did the whole routine, Jazmine leading them as what everyone would guess was Beyonce. And they didn't have to guess, she did all her solos perfectly and EXACTLY like her. When they stuck their final pose, their left hand up and their right finger pointing to their left wedding ring, everyone used whatever energy they had left to scream and shout for the unbelievable dancers. Half of the audience couldn't even cheer anymore, they were too damn tired! They girls, all literally panting, got together in a single line and bowed.
Jazmine looked at Huey who was probably cheering the loudest and winked at him. He winked back at her.
But Jazmine's smile was wiped away when she saw a shadow next to him, a face taunting her behind him. Jazmine's eyes widened, she rubbed them and looked again, but he was gone. The dancers left the floor and went to go sit with their classes. Jazmine cautiously went to go sit next to Huey. As she went up the stairs, every single person high fived her and gave her props…mostly from guys. As she sat next to him, he just couldn't take his eyes off of her. Jazmine blushed and looked away.
"What?" she said.
"Don't act like you don't know what I'm thinkin after that performance," Huey teased. Jazmine punched him in the arm.
"They better be clean thoughts," she said. He wrapped his arm around her waist pulling her close.
"Or what," he breathed into her neck. Jazmine just melted.
"Or you won't be seeing any kind of that performance ever again," she threatened.
He chuckled at her comeback. "I'd like to see that happen," he whispered. He leaned in for a kiss. Jazmine leaned in to but when she looked behind him, she saw Shadow again, smirking at her. Jazmine pulled away quickly.
"Really Jazmine," Huey asked in disbelief.
"Huey, I'm sorry!" she apologized. "I-I just…can't okay? You have to trust me."
"I will trust you if you trust me," Huey retorted.
"So you don't trust me to begin with?" she asked getting annoyed.
"If you don't trust me then no," Huey said getting annoyed also.
"Isn't that one of the first things there needs to be in a relationship?" she asked angrily.
"No," he said. Jazmine's eyes widened angrily. "It's honesty."
Jazmine just sighed loudly and turned away from him like a 6 yr old.
"Jazmine, come on," he said touching her arm. "I don't want to fight. Just tell me, please," he said.
She turned back around with almost watery eyes. "Huey, I…I just…"
"Fine," he interrupted. He took one of her hands. "When you are ready to tell me, I will be here. I won't rush you anymore. If it's adding to the stress, then you don't need to tell me if you don't want to."
Jazmine sighed in relief. She leaned over and kissed him on the cheek. "Thank you," she whispered as she pulled back.
But Huey pulled her back and gave her a long and tender kiss.
"Sorry," he apologized. "I just couldn't wait any longer," he admitted with a slight smile.
Jazmine giggled. "Well I guess you won't have to wait any longer," she hinted. She leaned forward and whispered in his ear. "Cause you'll get more of that tonight at the party," she whispered slightly licking his earlobe.
Huey's eyes popped out of his head. Oh God, he thought with a gulp. When they both sat up and looked around, they noticed they were the only ones in the gymnasium.
"What the hell?" Huey asked himself. Jazmine laughed out. "How come we didn't even notice?"
"Cause you can't keep your eyes off of me, that's why," she teased.
"Oh please," Huey brushed off.
"You weren't saying that when your eyes were glued to me just a while ago," Jazmine teased walking out of the gym.
Huey's eyes popped in realization. He chased after her. "Okay, now that's just not fair!"
I know it's kind of off topic, but I wanted ta tame down the suspense a little bit so I can give you guys a BIG surprise for what's soon to come. *Rubs hands together evily* MUAAAAHAHAHAHAHAAA!...what? no? oh okay.
