Molly couldn't believe either her husband or son Percy had been involved in all of this. She knew she needed to help Albus. The man had helped their family for many years. Albus would get out of prison one way or another. She knew those who opposed him would end up the ones in trouble when he was free. She wouldn't allow herself, Ron and Ginny to suffer for the deeds of their father. She would ensure Albus knew they were loyal and behind him at any cost. She would ensure Arthur did nothing to bring down the rest of their family. She had been shocked to see Percy with him. Percy had never liked Harry and she thought he had more common sense. She thought he would surely come around though.
Harry was reluctant but he was taking Bree away from the manor again. They were not going to the Burrow, but to shell cottage, where Bill and Fleur still lived. The couple were considering a move to France, but for now were still there.
Draco came to find Harry. "Are you ready for this?"
Harry turned. "It will be nice."
Draco smiled. "I thought you may be worried."
"Albus is in prison."
Draco motioned. "The others are waiting."
"Are you sure about going?"
"And why would I not be?"
"A house full of Weasleys and Gryffindors."
Draco snorted. "I have learned to tolerate most."
Harry agreed. "Hopefully more than tolerated a few."
Draco was very close to Harry. "More than tolerated."
Remus could be heard calling. "We should be going."
Draco stepped back. "Dinner waits."
Harry looked at Bree. "We're both hungry."
For a moment Harry thought Draco had been about to kiss him. He shook away the thought though. Draco was there as a friend to Harry and because his Uncle asked him to. Draco though had the near kiss on his mind. He had pictured doing it many times but he worried. He looked at Bree and the worries rose. It had nothing to do with Harry being a single dad and him opposed to it. He was reminded of Fred, and the place he had in Harry's heart. George and even Harry had said, Fred was his first love, and they didn't have enough time to see if they were soul mates. But Draco could admit he was worried to take the next step. He cared about Harry and this was not like dating in the past.
Remus looked at both boys as they came in and wondered what had happened. He could see they both had a bit of color in their cheeks. For a moment he wondered if they kissed but shook it away. He knew they both would like to, but were blind and worried about each other.
Fleur smiled when they arrived. "The last to arrive."
Harry kissed her cheek. "Sorry if we are late."
Bill shook his head. "Just on time."
Remus saw boxes. "Decided to move?"
Fleur nodded. "We have both decided France is best, and have job offers."
Harry hugged them. "You will have to come visit."
Bill assured him. "We will."
Fleur added. "You have an open invitation as always."
Oliver said from the door. "And you can still dine here."
Harry turned to look. "Have an in with the new owners?"
George laughed. "You are looking at him."
Fleur saw his surprise. "Oliver heard we were moving."
Oliver confided. "I rejoined the United."
Katie linked arms. "Missed me too much."
George shot Harry a look. "Could join."
Harry laughed a little. "Been off a broom a long time."
It felt good to laugh and just talk. Harry had really made no plans yet for what he would do now Albus was arrested. He could live off the interest of one of his two fortunes alone, and live like a king, but he hoped to work. He could always go and work for George he knew. For now he was focused on ending this with Albus. Both he and Remus were considering a place up at the school. Harry had not been on a broom since his sixth year of school, even when he returned back to school seventh year. It had been over two years, and though he would play for fun again, he didn't see playing professional. But he was happy Oliver would be close, as would be Bree. Bree was extremely fond of her godfather. Besides Draco, Oliver was one of her favorite people, right up there with Grandpa Moony. George had pouted more than once, he was jealous.
Dinner was being held out on the water. Bill knew his family was all here but he agreed with Fleur, France would be a nice fresh start. Since Charlie and George were sharing the Burrow for now, neither needed the cottage. And Oliver had decided it suited him well.
Harry looked across to Viktor. "You should be happy."
Viktor turned. "Why would that be?"
"UK is a lot closer than Canada."
Viktor was in denial. "You didn't plan to move back."
Fleur agreed with Harry. "Maybe you can look to relocate."
Oliver smirked. "I guess the same could be said about Draco."
Harry turned. "Draco?"
"I hear you are considering DADA."
Viktor agreed. "With Remus in transfiguration. Nice and close."
Harry blushed. "We're friends."
Oliver put him in a headlock. "All is fair in love…."
"And war." Draco shot.
Fleur looked at Harry. "I tried for years. All they would do is blush."
Harry shrugged. "Might just need a different touch."
Oliver smirked. "You the expert? You do little more than blush."
Fleur had liked the two together and tried to set them up before Oliver moved to Canada. Oliver had moved to France when Harry was a fifth year but remained only one season. He had been in Canada nearly a year when Harry had arrived. He had been a playboy and not ready for any roots. The fact he was settling down and buying a house was promise. He said it was for Harry and Bree, and though a part, not all of it. George shared a look with his brothers over Harry and Draco through dinner. Even Remus shared a look and thoughts.
George said to Draco quietly that night. "He is ready to move on, slowly. And you have all of our support."
The day before the trial both Arthur and Percy were at the ministry. They both worked there but it wasn't the reason for the trip that time. They had both taken their aid of Harry a step further. They both agreed to testify against Albus and were there to give evidence. Percy admitted Albus had planted him as a spy. His falling out had been a lie, his mother had known the truth, though his dad and brothers had not. Penny had reminded him it was not about their work and freedom. She knew her husband felt guilty about what he had done and this was a good step.
Arthur was confused when he got home to the flat he was sharing with his wife. He had not seen her in days but he was not surprised by that. She had been staying with Ron, Hermione and baby Rose. Arthur was happy they had at least changed the name of the baby recently. Ron had nearly called her Lily but Hermione stepped in. Ginny was away, she had a try out for a team in Asia, having to get away from Harry's reach. Arthur was shocked when he found most of his apartment had been sacked. He couldn't find most of his things but he smelled fire. He realized that Molly had burned many of their items in the fire. He had been worried about her but he never thought she'd destroy such.
He went to find Percy who had stayed at work but was on his way back. "You need to be careful."
Percy worried. "What is wrong?"
Arthur explained. "I don't know what she may do."
Percy asked. "She has never been dangerous?"
"I never thought your mother would…." Arthur trailed off.
"What does she hope to gain? He is still in prison?"
A voice came from behind. "He will get out."
Arthur saw Ron. "Did you have a part in this?"
Ron smirked. "Putting Albus in prison? No, and I will prove it."
Percy smirked. "What mother is up to."
Ron shrugged. "No idea. But we all know he will get out."
Arthur went to leave. "I would be finding a new job."
Percy agreed. "He won't be helping."
Ron called. "He will repay loyalty."
Arthur sighed. "Hope you don't learn the hard way."
Lily and James had been loyal. Sirius had been loyal. Molly's brothers had been loyal. There were many who were loyal and ended up dead. Gideon and Fabian's death had been more indirect than the others. Arthur wondered if Molly had any idea that Albus had a small part. She had loved her brothers and nearly died when they were killed. But the man had a hand in Fred, and she was still helping, so he had no idea.
Percy was worried about his wife as they headed for his house. He planned to have Penny go and stay with her dad until the trial was over. They had not told anyone, but Penny was a month pregnant, and he worried for her.
Arthur saw his son pause at the door. "Is something wrong/"
Percy wasn't sure. "I don't know."
Arthur looked. "The door is locked."
Percy agreed. "But something is wrong."
Arthur turned. "Should we call the aurors?"
"Something feels off."
Arthur looked around. "The house looks normal."
Percy called. "Penny are you here? Penny?"
Arthur heard something. "Someone is in the den."
Percy opened the door. "No."
Arthur saw his daughter in law prone on the ground. "Is she alive?"
Percy felt for a pulse. "Barely."
Arthur looked around. "What made the noise?"
Percy shouted at his dad. "Call the aurors and hospital."
Arthur ran over to the floo and called both. He had never seen his son like this, even during the war time. Healers arrived and Penny was whisked away to the hospital. Arthur accompanied his son to the hospital, they would find out from the aurors later. They were shocked as they waited, when Harry and the brothers arrived at the hospital. They were not expecting to see any of them come.
Harry explained. "Kingsley let us know."
Percy was shaking. "How did this happen?"
Bill was pale. "Mum's magic was found."
Arthur was confused. "How did she get in?"
Percy agreed. "The locks were not tampered with."
Harry spat. "Hermione."
"She works in Penny's department, as a clerk."
Percy was shaking. "Our ward codes."
Bill assured him. "Hermione was arrested, and Mum."
George asked. "How is Penny?"
Percy didn't know. "The doctors have not come out."
Charlie put a hand on him. "We will stay."
Arthur asked. "Do they know what?"
Harry nodded. "A shock spell. Minor, should have been a warning."
Arthur was pale. "Then why is she….?"
They had no idea, well none but Percy, who knew about the baby. Molly would have no idea her husband and son had already testified. She had likely meant to scare them into not acting. Or so Arthur hoped, as he looked at his sons and Harry, and thought about the kids as well. Hermione and Molly would face court tomorrow as well. The healer came out, and told them though Penny was still out, she would be okay. The others were shocked when they learned she was pregnant. She had nearly lost the baby but she hadn't yet. She would be in here for a week or so, until she was in more stable condition. She was fine, but she could still lose the baby at this point. Percy was allowed to go in and sit with her. Arthur and the others came in with him, though the others held back a bit. Arthur sat down by his son, and tried to be some comfort.
Bill said from the door. "Prat or not, you are our brother, and the baby is our niece and nephew. We will be in court for you tomorrow."
