Sup ya'll! Another day, another chapter. This is the follow up of the assignment last chapter, both Huey and Jazmine's point of view. Thank you very much for the reviews. I hope to hear more from you guys. DON'T OWN BOONDOCKS! Leggo!
Huey busted through his front door, still in a daze. He walked slowly through the hallway with a look of pure shock. When he walked into the living room, two sets of eyes agonizingly turned to him away from the television where they had just seen the news.
Riley got up first and walked towards him. "Huey! Man, nigga did you see this shit?"
Huey nodded slowly, still with a stunned look on his face.
Cindy followed Riley. "I can't believe this happened man. I know Mr. Wuncler was a mean ol fuck, but he didn't deserve to die, especially like that."
"I beg to differ," Huey muttered while taking off his jacket. "and so do other children in Indonesia he is forcing to do manual labor for his owned Nike shops."
"Nigga that don't give no one the right to kill him like that!" Riley retorted.
"Whatever," Huey said. "Where's Granddad?"
"At one of his dates," Riley answered. "He left an hour after you did."
And now we are getting reports on the culprit of this tragic murder. We have been given video footage inside the building only 3 minutes before the killing.
They all walked back into the living room and sat down on the couch across from the television.
These videos are graphic and for mature audiences. Viewer discretion is deeply recommended.
The news reporter nodded behind the camera for them to roll the tape. It showed someone leaping through the window. It was a masked feminine figure. When they dropped to the floor, they realized the camera was on and threw something at the camera causing it to show static. But what the figure did not know was that where she committed the crime, there was another camera she missed. It showed the whole crime up until Huey showed up, where she threw the smoke bombs. The explosion caused the camera to crack where it also met static.
Huey just covered his face and sighed.
The figure shown in this video is assumed to be female, 5-10, and 142 lbs. and EXTREMELY dangerous. Until the suspect is revealed, strong caution in Woodcrest is highly advised.
"Daammnn," Riley sighed. Everyone just looked at him with the same solemn look. "You got KNOCKED THE FUCK OUT MY NIGGA!" Riley joked. Huey rose his head up out of his hands and just glared at him, but Riley didn't care. "Oh my God! Yo ass FLEW across the room HAHAHAHAHA!"
"Riley, you're a fucking dick!" Cindy defended. "This isn't a joking matter!"
"I don't give a fuck hahahaha!" Riley continued. "This nigga just got jumped by a girl! Who was she anyway?!"
Huey immediately felt sick. He got off the couch and ran up the stairs and into the bathroom covering his mouth. Riley and Cindy exchanged looks and ran up with him.
Huey lifted the toilet seat, kneeled to the floor and bent his head down and let loose. He wretched and wretched, getting rid of all what was inside him. When he was sure he was done, he put the seat back down and flushed. He sat down on the floor, his back to the wall still gasping.
Riley and Cindy walked in and knelt down beside him.
"Huey what's wrong?" Cindy questioned.
"It…was her," Huey whispered. "She did it."
"Who?" Riley asked. Huey reached back into his pocket and pulled out the necklace and handed it to Riley.
Both Cindy and Riley's eyes widened. Cindy covered her mouth in disbelief. Riley's hand trembled.
"Oh my God," Cindy gasped. "No, it can't be."
"The security guard snagged it off her neck trying to fight her off," Huey exclaimed.
"Huey…" Cindy sighed with teary eyes rubbing his shoulder.
"I don't know where she is, or where to find her," Huey said. "I don't know what to do."
Riley sighed and handed him back the necklace. "We'll help you," he said.
Huey looked up at him and looked at Cindy, who nodded in agreement.
"She has gone mad you guys," Huey said. "The chances of bringing her back are extremely thin. She is a criminal now, a blood-thirsty criminal."
Cindy shifted uncomfortably at the sound of her best friend, her sweet and innocent friend (well, used to be), being a criminal. "If she is the Jazmine I know her to be, then we will get her back."
"That's just the thing Cindy," Huey said shaking his head. "I'm not so sure she is. I mean, you didn't see what I saw when I ran through those doors, an evil woman, drenched in blood, a cold-blooded killer. Does that sound like Jazmine to you?"
Cindy just put her head down and shook it no, sniffling silently.
"Well we can't just give up on her," Riley said back. "We have to save her before we lose her completely."
Cindy looked back up and nodded again in agreement. "Huey, if you love her like you say you do, you must save her, we all must."
Huey thought carefully. "Then we had better get started," Huey said. They all stood up and walked out of the bathroom and into Huey's bedroom.
"How will we get a lead on her if we don't know where she is?" Riley asked. Huey made his way to the computer. He fiddled around with it, pressing keys here and there (basically computer nerd stuff).
"Because I just remembered; When I made that final phone call where she threatened me, I had gotten a track on her phone. She forgot to turn off her location." Huey said.
Cindy and Riley crowded around the computer. Huey had somehow gotten the GPS on his computer to show directions from their house to where Huey contacted Jazmine.
"It's 2 hours from here," Cindy stated. "In the desert area of the state?" Riley and Huey both had confused looks as well. "What is she doing there?"
"I don't know. But whoever is with her obviously isn't doing her any good," Huey said with a slight angry tone. Riley and Cindy noticed but chose to leave it alone. He did more fiddling with the computer and hooked up his phone, downloading the directions. "We'll leave in the morning. We're going to go there and bring her back."
Cindy and Riley both nodded. "And should she decide otherwise?" Cindy asked.
"We bring her back with force," Huey said firmly.
"Ooookay umm…how are we," Riley said pointing to both him and Cindy, "gonna handle her? We don't have no kung fu Jackie Chan training or whatever the fuck ya'll do," he said mimicking kung fu moves with his hands.
"I didn't say ya'll had to fight her," Huey hinted. Riley and Cindy exchanged looks again and looked back at Huey.
Huey led them downstairs and down another flight of stairs to the basement. He pulled out a ring of keys under the mat in front of a closet which was chained with about 8 different locks. Huey matched every single one of them with the right key and pulled off the chains.
All the while, Cindy and Riley just waited behind him impatiently with a Really? look on their faces.
When Huey opened the door, he handed them each a .22 caliber. Cindy immediately protested.
"What the fuck Huey?!" she screamed. Huey rolled his eyes. "I'm not trying to actually KILL her!"
"Cindy will you calm the hell down?" Huey said nonchalantly. "These guns won't actually kill her if you shoot at the right spot. It will just give her a minor injury."
"So the fuck what! I'm not shooting my best friend!"
"Oh really," Huey said knowingly. "Because I'm pretty sure Jazmine wouldn't have a problem shooting you now would she? We don't know what we're going up against. For all we know she isn't exactly the Jazmine we think she is…probably not our Jazmine at all," he faded off at the end.
Cindy just stood there with a defeated and frightened look. The frightening thing was that he was probably right. If Jazmine could kill Wuncler, he could probably kill her as well. She just sighed and took the gun.
He bent back down in the closet and pulled out 4 pistols, 2 for Riley and 2 for Cindy. Then he got out 3 bulletproof vests for each of them. Huey got out more supplies and they carried it all upstairs and into the kitchen.
"Now we will leave tomorrow and absolutely NO ONE is to know. Understood?" Huey stated. Cindy and Riley nodded.
"So now what?" Riley asked.
"We can only pray this works," Huey said unconvincingly
Jazmine walked onto the metal platform in the cave along with 2 other security guards. One of them lifted up the rock and they sunk into the ground, the ceiling closing again above them. They stepped off the platform and walked to the elevator. He pushed the button and they went to the floor Master Shadow's office is on. All the while, Jazmine just stared at the floor with a ferocious glare on her face. For all that it was worth, she didn't exactly feel as fulfilled as she thought she would. But damn, did it feel good killing Wuncler. She's wanted to get payback ever since he tricked her into working for him, at HER lemonade stand, for 5 CENTS AN HOUR, in the FUCKING HEAT, all for ONE…FUCKING…PONY! He had it coming that's for sure, and did HE get it.
The security guards stopped at the entrance and let her go in alone. When she entered she finally looked up and around but didn't find her master anywhere. She wandered around a bit, stopping and looking at the paintings again, well Amari's picture, still taking in her beauty and radiance. She then made her way to his desk. She ran her fingers along the edge as she walked behind it. She kind of felt nosy, but felt a little adventurous. She looked around the room one more time making sure the coast was clear. She ran through a couple papers on the desk, nothing of importance. She opened the first drawer on the right. She pulled out a whole stack of files. She opened one and on the very front of the staple papers was a picture of Abraham Lincoln with a X crossed through it. Jazmine immediately became confused. She lifted up the picture where a paper stated TERMINATED. Jazmine's mouth gaped open. She closed the file and went on to the next one, President Kennedy? And to another, and another, and another up until Wuncler. Jazmine was definitely freaked out now. Was he responsible for all these? This is crazy! Jazmine immediately stacked the files back together and was about to put them back in the drawer, but she noticed a file still sitting in the drawer. She pulled it out and put the others back in. She walked in front of the desk and sat down on it carrying it in her hands. Taking a breath, she finally opened it, and dropped it on the floor as soon as she did. There on the very front was the picture of the very teen she wouldn't dare mention, Huey Freeman, but his picture was obviously not crossed out. What the hell? She thought.
"Heeeyyy! There she is! The woman of the hour!" Shadow came through the doors with Cairo and Raze in tow. Jazmine immediately got down and kicked the file behind her underneath the desk, putting her poker face back on. "I mean honestly, I don't think I've seen better."
Jazmine just gave him a small smirk. "All in a night's work Master," she said bowing her head.
"Indeed, indeed young apprentice," Shadow said patting her shoulder. "I mean just look!" Shadow picked up a remote and clicked it to the local news, where they showed the crime scene and the small footage of her.
The figure shown in this video is assumed to be female, 5-10, and 142 lbs. and EXTREMELY dangerous. Until the suspect is revealed, strong caution in Woodcrest is highly advised.
Jazmine slightly cringed at the sound of her being…dangerous, EXTREMELY dangerous.
"Destroying the cameras with a star," Cairo commented. "Classic."
He made his way to her standing beside her. She smirked a little wider.
"No doubt your training is paying off," Raze said.
"Training for whom? The trainee or trainer?" Jazmine retorted sassily.
"Ooohoohoohoo! Nice one, considering that comment will cost you tougher matches with me," Raze said back.
"I'm pretty sure I can handle it," Jazmine said.
"What can't you handle?" Cairo said softly stepping closer to her.
Jazmine, still not giving up her glare, just kept her smirk on him. "Practically anything," she spoke back in the same tone.
"Wellll, if that's true…BRING HIM IN!" Shadow shouted to security guards outside. Jazmine immediately stood back and looked at the door in security guards brought in a man by his arms with his legs kicking behind him and a hood over his face. They knelt him down in front of Jazmine, who was getting more and more confused by the minute. "A small gift for your successful first assignment."
The security guards then removed the hood. Jazmine immediately glared again. There before her knelt Darell, the boy who ruined her used to be relationship, betrayed her and used her only for his satisfaction. He looked around frantically before looking up in front of him.
"Jazmine?" he said shakily. "W-what's going on?"
"Go ahead Jazmine," Shadow said walking up behind her. "Show him how much he's hurt you, show him what pain really feels like."
"W-what? What do you mean?" Darell asked, starting to yell in fright.
"He betrayed you Jazmine. He pretended to be your friend all these years, all for one simple go. And yet, he never even acknowledged his wrongdoings."
All the while, while Shadow was talking to her, Jazmine's glare got deeper and deeper, letting every word seep in. She reached behind her and drew her still-bloody sword and held it at her side.
"Oh God, Jazmine please!" Darell begged. "Listen I'm sorry for that night! I just liked you was all. I never meant to hurt you!" Jazmine ignored him and held the blade at his neck. Darell gulped. "Jazmine, please, PLEASE! I won't tell anyone, just please don't do this! I will never bother you or Huey again!"
Jazmine paused and removed the blade. She immediately thought of Huey. She imagined him kneeling down there. What would she do if he had knelt before her like this? She knelt down at eye level with him. "You stupid fucking idiot," she said in his face. Darell was literally shaking. "You think your bullshit words mean anything to me? You think HUEY means anything to me? You're dead wrong. And you don't mean anything to me either."
And with that she stood back up and put the blade back at his neck.
"Jazmine, JAZMINE PLE…!" she interrupted with one quick, clean swing at his neck. There Darell stood motionless with the same previous scared look on his face, whose head just slipped right off of his torso, which fell over after. Blood poured all over the marble floor. It started making its way towards Jazmine's feet, who only stepped out of the way and spat at it.
Cairo and Raze stood back and clapped slowly sarcastically. Jazmine rolled her eyes and cleaned her blade off with his shirt.
"Well done, apprentice, well done," Shadow whispered. She turned around and bowed to him completely.
"Thank you master," Jazmine whispered.
"I think we've had enough fun for one night," he said patting her shoulder again. "You have done me good Jazmine, you really have. Bigger opportunities are coming your way." Jazmine nodded. "I'm thinking a day off? What do you think Raze?"
"Oh no doubt Master Shadow. She sure has deserved it," Raze agreed.
"You had best get some rest," Shadow suggested. Jazmine stood back and bowed again. She exited the room along with Cairo and Raze. "Raze, stay behind would you?" Raze turned back around and reentered the room.
"Yes Master?" Raze asked.
"Do you think that that was enough proof that she was ready for her next assignment?" Shadow asked walking behind his desk and sitting down.
"One would think, but one can't be too sure," Raze responded.
"We have to be completely sure," Shadow raised his hand and levitated the file underneath the desk into his hand. "in order for her to complete this mission." He opened the file to the picture. "It definitely won't be easy."
"If she stays on the track she is on master, she will be ready no doubt," Raze assured.
Shadow glared at the picture.
"Pray you're right," Shadow half growled. "Now get someone in here to clean this up."
Raze shook his head and chuckled as he bowed and turned around and exited the room.
"That was quite impressive," Cairo said. They walked down the hallway to Jazmine's room, hands interlocked. "I might have to watch my back."
Jazmine smirked at him. "Yea you might, cause one definitely wouldn't want a scar like mine," she backed him into her door. "now would they?"
He used his kung-fu techniques to switch them around in a flash where she was on the door. He pressed himself into her, making Jazmine wrap her leg around him.
"Try me," he growled.
Jazmine bit her lip and reached down to turn the knob. She opened the door and grabbed him by the shirt pulling him in after her.
Okay...it's official. She's gone fuckin mad! Bloodthirsty I tell you! BLOODTHIRSTY! And I wonder how Huey Cindy and Riley expect to bring her back? Keep reading! Review for next chapter. Tell me what you think! Lots of love! Peace!
