Janine was down in the cells, trying to figure out what Sabrina knew. Thankfully, Red had managed to convince Blue that she should not attend the interrogation, since she would be too angry with the woman. In reality, the reason was of course that he was worried she may overhear something to damage her trust in him. If that happened...

"What is it?" he asked Surge, who was just entering his office. The older man looked grim.

"Your aide says that Green is calling and asking for you. He put him on hold for now," Surge replied, frowning. Red stared at him, alarmed.

"What? How did he get the number here?" he demanded, getting to his feet.

"How should I know?" Surge replied, insubordinate as always. "Ask him, not me."

"Demote whoever answered the call to toilet cleaner, put Green's call through to this office and initiate soundproof protocols," Red snarled. While waiting for the order to be carried out, he paced around the office, trying to figure out why Green would be calling him here. Had he found something out? Had Sabrina spoken to him? There had to be some reason, but what?

"Sir, patching through," came a crisp female voice over the intercom. Red seated himself at the desk again, made sure nothing Team Rocket was visible, and then activated the screen to find Green smiling at him.

"Hey, Red."

"Green," Red replied, faking a return smile. "It's a bit of a surprise that you're calling... How did you get this number?"

"I asked Yellow for the name of the company you worked at. After that, it wasn't so difficult finding the number to your phone," his rival replied, shrugging. Red felt a surge of annoyance at Green's arrogance and nonchalance. Was he looking him up? He quickly suppressed the feeling and forced another smile.

"It would've been easier to just call my Pokegear," he said. Green nodded.

"True, but less personal. I wanted to speak face to face... Are you busy?"

"Always, but I can make time. If it's really important."

"Good. I need you to come with me to Goldenrod City for a couple of days? As your friend, I've been asked by the Pokemon Association to contact you. They want to ask you a favor related to the two Rocket factions operating in the Pokemon Nation," Green explained. "I'm not allowed to discuss details, of course, but I believe it'll benefit Kanto, Johto and the other regions."

Red felt a chill. He knew. He had to know. This was some elaborate trap, and somehow he'd gotten Yellow to work with him and... And what? How could he have found out? Taking a deep breath, Red managed to calm down. He hoped Green had not noticed his reaction. The only way Green could have found out was if Blue had told him, and she would not do that. Not unless she discovered the truth about Silver's death, and then he expected he would have noticed it by a knife in his back.

"Alright," he told Green. "Tomorrow?"

"As soon as possible, they said. I'll send a map to the building, unless you want me to pick you up?"

"A map will be fine. Bye Green, see ya tomorrow."

"Bye," Green said, cutting the video link. Red instantly shut his own camera off, making sure audio also cut, then got to his feet and stormed out of the office. He would have backup ready, standing by. Just in case. Surge and his subordinates, Janine, some grunts... He would not risk his life if this was a trap. Not now. Not with so much left to do.
