EmiAni- You are adorable, you know that? Your reviews literally make me write faster so I don't disappoint your cute self. :3 Don't worry. Kaname may be aiming to break Zero, but he's strong. His cute self won't get hurt... Much... Well, maybe his bum, and a bit of his pride. *devil grin*
Thanks for the favorites and follows!
"Fuck." The word was a single-syllabled, eloquent whisper flowing briefly from pale lips. A hand pressed roughly to cherry wood, validating the existence of the accursed gate to the Moon Dorms. Shuddering in unadulterated revulsion, those same petal colored lips opened to curse once more. "I can't believe I'm actually going to fucking do this. Shit."
Still, despite his obvious distaste for the building and it's residents, the foul-mouthed silverette pushed open the gate an walked towards a similar set of doors that resided in the entry way of a grand white building. 'That stupid blood-sucker told me to come here, so, if he makes a single comment, I'll blow his head off. I'm just doing this for Yuki. Otherwise, I wouldn't even consider something this disgusting,' he thought.
Zero enters the dormitory without hesitation, his resolve never slipping. None of the Night Class students were awake, not that he could tell, and it made the journey much easier. Still, as he reached the top of the stairs, the hunter couldn't help but growl and bare his fangs. 'I am no monster,' he thought to himself, 'but I sure as hell can act like one. He better not open his stupid mouth, or I'll rip his throat out.' With those comforting thoughts, the silverette knocked on Kaname's door.
"Come in, Kiryu," came a muffled voice from within the chamber. Zero ground his teeth together in frustration, then proceeded inside.
The room was dark, as expected of a vampire's lair. Thick curtains covered the windows, no light permitted within the large space, save a small, dim lamp atop a large mahogany desk. Seated behind the aforementioned desk was the pureblood prince, regally awaited his servants approach. The smug smirk upon his features made Zero writhe in anger, but he kept his temper in check. It would do him no good in this environment, he knew, for the demon called this room home.
Still, the hunter summoned his most fearsome glare, and waited for Kuran to speak. He might not be able to act on his desires, but that didn't mean he had to bow before the arrogant piece of trash who sat ahead.
"Am I right to assume that you have come to take me up on my generous offer?" Kaname questioned disinterestedly.
This statement caused Zero to snort. "Hah! Generous my ass," he scoffed.
The pureblood raised a single eyebrow, his lips pulled down in a frown. "That was not an answer, Kiryu. I do hope you intended to interrupt my schedule for something worth while, but if that is not the case, you should kindly escort yourself out of my chambers. As I'm sure you know, I am a fairly busy person. So, your answer, if you would?"
Zero snarled. "Why else would I be here, you arrogant bastard?"
At this, Kaname smirked. "Well then, follow me. I do not wish to soil important papers, in case you have the tendency to spill."
Zero growled, but followed his donor through a door nearby, obviously leading to the bedroom. His mind was filled with thoughts of maiming the irksome man in front of him, but he abstained, for Yuki's sake. The hunter couldn't bring himself to hurt her worse than he already had...
Lost in his musings, the irritable ex-human failed to notice the glint of malice in the air around him, as well as the door clicking shut once he passed the threshold. He barely registered the darkened state of the room before he snapped to attention, inwardly chiding himself for letting his guard down.
Kaname seated himself on the edge of the bed, beckoning for Zero to approach him with a false smile in place. Zero grimaced and stepped closer, trying to play nice. It was very clear that the older vampire was enjoying having his enemy bowed down before him, and was going to make it last as long as possible. When Zero reached him, Kaname gave a purposeful glance towards the ground. The younger sighed, barely suppressing his irritation. Of course this wouldn't be easy.
Reluctantly, Zero sank to his knees before the self-righteous man. A scowl was set firmly on his features, turning into a painful grimace when he felt something touch his head. Kaname gently ran a hand through the silver locks, a smile dancing across his features. The hunter knew he was being mocked, but he forced himself to endure. Still, a snarl escaped his lips at the feeling of those hands caressing his hair.
"Tell me, Kiryu...," the pureblood began, softly, "What is it like to deny yourself the most wonderful of pleasures? What is it like to deny the longing we both know you feel? The animal inside of you aches to be free. So why do you insist you are not one of us? You feel this too, do you not?"
The hunter growled loudly. "Never! I am nothing like you sick, twisted beasts! I can control this! I am not a monster!"
"Aren't you, though? Aren't you? Can you truly control this, Zero? I warn you, this particular animal does not like to be tamed." At this, Kaname yanked Zero's head back, forcing him to look directly at the vampire. One hand slid free of the tangled strands to trace a delicate face.
Holding Zero firmly in place, Kaname lengthened his fingers into talons and clawed open his free palm. Immediately, the younger boy closed his eyes. It didn't matter, though. Kaname had seen the crimson in their depths.
Bitterly, the prince barked out a laugh. "You, of all people, think you can resist this temptation? I assure you, it cannot be done. Just give in, admit defeat. That's what you will be doing the second you drink. You are an animal, Zero," he stated condescendingly. "A monster. Just like me. We are one in the same. And yet, you insist on fighting yourself. You poor, poor thing."
At those words, Zero snapped.
