A/N: Hello again, my lovelies. This is longer than most of my other chapters. Sadly, it's not as long as I would like. But still, I updated it faster than I usually do, so be happy.

EmiAni- Sorry, no smexy times yet, but we're getting there. :) Does blood drinking work for now?
The hunter lunged, tackling the older male back onto the bed, trying to pin him. "Shut up! Just shut up!" He growled, anger besting him. Zero bared his fangs, wrapping his fingers around Bloody Rose and lifting her from the holster. The firearm was soon pointed at the grinning man, steady and sure. Zero cocked the gun.
This action only made Kaname laugh. "Really, Kiryu? Is this what you plan to do? Kill me? And how will this prove that you are not a monster? Losing yourself to your anger so easily. It's amusing. You protest so very much towards any inclination that you could be a monster, yet you can kill another living being without even batting an eyelash. Don't you think that's rather monstrous?"
Zero jammed the gun into Kaname's throat. "Didn't I tell you to shut the fuck up, Kuran?"
The pureblood prince merely smiled in response. "I don't think you quite understand this deal, hunter." The world suddenly spun and Zero found himself trapped beneath the older male. "I do not bow to those beneath me. I am not someone you want to push around, Kiryu." He lowered his voice, eyes flashing a dangerous shade of red. "I'm tired of your insolence. You must learn when to kneel, Zero, and I will be the one to teach you," he growled.
Panic briefly entered Zero's eyes and he tried to fight, but his body went limp against his will. He knew purebloods had the ability to control lower ranking vampires, but he had never taken it completely seriously, until he found that power used against himself. He felt helpless, and it scared him.
Eyes glinting with malice, the sadistic vampire leaned down to drag his tongue across the silverette's throat. Zero sucked in a sharp breath, terror chilling his blood. Without looking up, Kaname murmured to his prey in a gentle, soothing voice. "Do you understand now, Zero?" The name was a purr. "You have no freedom anymore. You belong to me. I do not mind if you think me the devil. Just remember... It was you who sold your soul."
With those words, razor sharp fangs sank into pale skin. A sharp, bitter cry slipped from the hunter's lips as burning pain shot through his body. That was no doubt Kaname's intention, to make him suffer. It hurt like nothing he had ever known, burning into his core like molten lava. The worst part, though, was the fact that he remained immobile. He could barely breathe as the agony shook him, leaving him stranded with nothing to hold on to.
Kaname growled and sunk his fangs in deeper, before ripping them out to pull on the red nectar flowing freely from the wound. He found sick pleasure in draining the younger male beneath him, bringing the teen near the brink of death from taking so much. Then, only then, did he finally draw away.
The pureblood was very tempted to just leave the boy there, let him die. Kaname was strangely entranced by the sight of the hunter losing consciousness before him. He sat for a moment, watching the fire fade slowly from the violet eyes as Zero's breathing became labored and heavy.
Still, he sighed and released the silverette from his mental chokehold. "I really would rather leave you to rot, but it's not in my best interest." He watched in amusement as the hunter struggled to move away from him. "Sit still, Kiryu," Kaname commanded, grabbing the boy by his wrist and turning him around.
Quickly, Kaname bit his own wrist and pressed it to the mouth of the weakened hunter. Unable to resist, Zero lapped up the blood and bit into the appendage himself. Long, greedy droughts were sucked in, and color slowly returned to the pale skin of the prefect's face.
Eventually, Kaname cut him off. They were both dizzy and light headed, exhausted from the blood loss. They glared at each other wearily. There was a silent tension between the two of them, neither of them willing to comment on what had just occurred. The pureblood broke the silence first.
"Go back to your own dorm now, Kiryu. I would rather not have you collapse in my room, and I really do not wish to play nurse at the moment," he stated dismissively, laying down atop the tousled sheets of his king sized canopy bed.
Zero glowered, but did not protest and left without a word. He was too tired to fight. The hunter barely made it to his room before collapsing from his dizziness.
Zero woke in a panic, covered in a cold sweat. Nightmarish images raced behind his eyelids, fleeing from his conscious mind. Gruesome thoughts and feelings made him feel sick, and he rushed towards the trash can.
As he emptied the contents of his stomach, the prefect recalled what had taken place the night before. It made him feel even sicker. He spent the next few minutes retching and shivering, at the mercy of the images that assaulted him. When he got his control back, Zero mulled over the things that he had been seeing in his mind.
None of them belonged in his mind, he realized. He didn't know any of the people who mocked him behind his eyelids. Maybe it was a premonition? Maybe it was just a figment of his imagination? He didn't know, but decided not to dwell on it any longer. After all, it was only a dream.
Seeing as how he was already late for school, Zero just decided not to go. Instead, to relieve some stress, the moody prefect made his way to the stables. He lay down in a pile of straw and began to sort out his thoughts. It was supposed to make him calm, but the more he thought, the angrier he grew.
How could he have let something like that happen? It was disgraceful, disgusting, and pitiful. He should never have let his guard down around the arrogant vampire. He knew that, but he still managed to be played. Truly, he was a sorry creature.
Still, it was entirely Kuran's fault! None of that would've happened if he had killed the pureblood when he had the chance. That blood sucker was nothing but a tyrant, and Zero would be damned if he allowed himself to be ruled.
Suddenly, a voice that was not his own broke through Zero's thoughts. Rather annoyed, the person growled, "Can you please shut up? I'm trying to sleep."
Shock coursed through the hunter. "How the fuck are you doing that, Kuran? Why the hell are you in my head?" He demanded.
A sigh rung through his mind. "I'm not. Just be quiet."
Infuriated at the lack of explanation, Zero stormed across the grounds and through the moon dorms. He kicked open the door to Kaname's chambers without hesitation, barging in to his bedroom. "What the hell did you do to me?!" He shrieked.
Kaname sat up with a tired sigh. This was going to be a long day.
