Here's chapter 9! I got it up a lot quicker than the last chapter, didn't I? xD Anyways. Did you guys like the Puppet Master episode? Personally I'm just going to forget that episode ever happened.

This chapter probably has the least amount of characters that are featured out of this fanfic and Complicated. The only ones in this chapter are our little Hudson family: Finn, Rachel, and Cory.

I don't own Glee. I only own the character Cory.

Enjoy!

"Rachel, can we talk for a minute?" Finn asked, knocking on the door to the bedroom. She was studying at the moment, and she knew he didn't like interrupting her when she did so. It must have been serious if he wanted to talk now.

"Sure, come in," Rachel got up from her bed and opened the door for him. She then went back to her bed and let him sit in the desk chair. "What is it?"

"Well, for who knows how many months I've told you that we'll talk about this whole New York thing when we need to? Well, it's the end of April now, and we need to start thinking about this. Graduation is in June, but it's going to come sooner than you think."

"Can't we wait to talk about this?" she asked, looking at the bed sheets.

"Why do you want to wait to talk about this?" he asked with a groan.

"I just want to enjoy these last few months of happiness in school before it's done for, you know?" the brunette explained, but after a moment caved in. "Well, if I get accepted into NYADA, I think you should take care of Cory."

"Rach, you're his mother though. And not sure how I'd do with Cory by myself."

"You should see yourself with him," she smiled. "You're absolutely great with him. Plus, he's used to being in Lima. If I took him out of his comfort zone in that huge city, he probably wouldn't be able to adjust well."

"He's still a baby though," Finn mentioned.

"He'll be six when we graduate. And schools in New york are expensive. I know that since I'm going to college, my dads won't help pay the rent as often as they used to. It's going to be hard paying for all sorts of stuff for Cory."

"If I keep him here in Ohio, it's going to be just as hard."

"But we have a house. Your mom and Burt have helped us pay for the bills, which haven't really been that much because Cory is our entertainment. Plus, the Lima branch of OSU isn't far away from here. If anything happens to him at daycare, you or Carole or Burt or someone from school can easily pick him up and bring him home. In New York, it's a lot harder. If he gets sick at daycare, there's no one there to pick him up," Rachel explained.

"That's true...But still, won't you miss him?" he asked.

"I'll miss you and him with all of my heart and soul. Even though I'd be back for holidays, I'd still miss you. After four years of college for the both of us, we'll have the rest of our lives to spend together," Rachel stated her case before getting up to give him a hug. Once she let him go, she heard Cory from from his nursery. "I better go tend to him."

The petite girl walked out of their room and into Cory's room. He was standing up in his crib as usual, calling for his Mama. "What is it Little Cor? Is there something you need?"

"See Mama," he babbled with a grin.

"You wanted to see Mama? That's so sweet," she kissed his cheeks, and that made him giggle. "Do you need food or your diaper changed?"

He shook his head, and she was hoping he meant it. "Then you should take a little nap. Can you do that for me?"

"Ok," he responded. She grabbed him gently and laid him down on his back and covered him up with his blanket.

She whispered. "I can't believe you're almost two years old. It feels like it was yesterday when I was pregnant with you."

Rachel walked out of the nursery and stealthily shut the door. She then went into the living room and noticed the mail slot was stuffed with, well, mail. She grabbed it and took out the newspaper and other pointless stuff. She saw two letters that were addressed to her, and ambled away into her room.

"The mail has arrived," Rachel went back into her room with the two letters. Finn was still sitting on her desk chair, and she silently hopped onto the bed.

"What is it?" he asked.

"One letter is from NYADA, and one is from my doctor. I went to the doctor last week and I always ask for them to send me the results of the blood test I took via mail," she answered and looked at each letter carefully. She gently tossed the one from her doctor to the side and opened the one from NYADA like a mad animal. She read through it quickly before nodding briskly. "Carmen Tibideaux will be coming to McKinley for Kurt and I on the second of May. This letter was sent a week ago... Great, now I only have a week to pick out my audition song for her."

When she heard Finn laugh, it made her smile. She figured he liked it when she got crazy about this stuff. She grabbed the letter from her doctor now, and opened it a little slower than her NYADA letter. It was because she expected the normal, clean bill of health as always.

"Let's see what this says," she whispered, reading it slowly. The smile Finn put on her face went away, like someone erasing the chalk on a chalkboard in one swipe.

"What is it Rach?" she heard her boyfriend ask, but it was like the whole world was mute around her. She saw him take the letter from her two hands, and she tried to retrieve it from him before he could look at it. It was too late though, he was already reading it. Rachel too saw the color in his face drain once he finished scanning the page. They looked at each other as he set the notification back on her bed.

"Well, I didn't see that coming," he broke the silence with the truth. "Did you?"

"Nope," her answer was a sigh. She didn't see that one coming at all.

"What are we going to do now?" Finn asked as soon as he shot up from his chair to sit at the foot of her bed.

"I can't audition...I just can't. Even if I get in, I'm going to have to...sorry," Rachel started to cry, which caused her to stop talking.

"Hey...hey..." he grabbed his girlfriend and pulled her into a tight hug. "It'll be ok, we'll get through this."

She raised her head from his chest a few minutes after he spoke. "Cory wasn't supposed to become a big brother until I won my first Tony."

"I know, obviously this baby happened for a reason. And we'll love it as much as we love Cory, regardless of what's going to happen after graduation."

...Well of course something like this would happen right before gradution! 8D

I hope you like this little plot twist I put in this fanfic... I'm really hoping you do. I have a plan, which is why I did this.

Coming up in chapter 10: Finn and Rachel go to an appointment to see their baby, and Carmen Tibideaux comes to McKinley to listen to Kurt and Rachel's auditions. Will Rachel audition or no?
