Hey all, I'm back! Ah, it's good to be home, and it's good to be writing again.

Okay, this is the big one, the final battle. I've been planning this fight for ages and I even brought some friends in on the design process. You guys want to say something? No? Well at least tell that joke you came up with. No, the one with the plague rats. You forgot? How could you- never mind. It's probably for the best anyways. In any case, this is one of my most heavily planned out chapters ever. The only thing I haven't done is make storyboards, which I did consider.

Alright, pick your favorite dramatic battle music because it's time to get going. This is going to be awesome.

The Classix waited in their fairy forms for Eclipsis to return to the cave. Perdi and Amelia were meditating, trying to sense their foe's approach. Artis had joined them, focusing on her power. Dhalia paced restlessly while Reyva dozed against the wall. Nyssa stood at the mouth of the cave, her hands clasped behind her back as she stared out into the forest, searching for her mother.

Perdi's head snapped up. "She's coming."

"Get ready girls." Dhalia said. "Start with the weapons, then go to magic." They drew steel.

Eclipsis settled down in the clearing in front of her lair on leathery bat wings which vanished back into her body. There was a new layer of wreckage strewn across the area, as if the odd tree monsters that seemed to surround her had been destroyed. She shrugged, unperturbed by this development. They were mindless automatons anyways, useless for her purposes.

She started walking back to her cave. Another fruitless day of searching for the fairies who had trapped her here. They would pay for stealing her from the Magic Dimension, and her son. She was twenty feet from the cave when her sense registered that there was something wrong. She focused, and found the source of the disturbance. She smiled.

The girls watched Eclipsis from the shadows of the cave. Suddenly, she halted. A second passed. Two. Three.

"She knows we're here!" Dhalia hissed. "Go!" They sprang from the cave.

Eclipsis twisted to her right, dodging an arrow that whistled past her ear. She ducked under a sword, side stepped a hammer, rolled past a bladed staff, and bent backwards at the waist as two more swords skimmed over her. She came back up just in time to meet Artis's plunging daggers.

Artis drove the two twelve inch steel blades straight into Eclipsis's chest, driving them in to the hilt. Eclipsis roared in pain and grabbed Artis by the front of her shirt, throwing her across the clearing with one hand. She hit the ground rolling, caught herself on her hands and sprang to her feet, skidding a bit on the dirt.

Eclipsis stared at the girls with pure hatred in her eyes. She grabbed the daggers embedded in her chest and pulled them out. Blood flowed from the wounds before they closed, healing themselves in a matter of seconds.

"You dare attack me." She held the daggers up to the light of the sun. Then she laughed. "No wonder you were able to harm me!" She looked at the Classix. "You don't even know what you're holding, do you? Let me enlighten you."

She waved one of the daggers at the Classix. "These belonged to Pelia, the first Pixie. These blades were her weapons, and she carried them through Univix." She glanced at the rest of the Classix's weapons. "At a guess, I'd have to say you also hold Wirena's bladed staff, Allanya's swords, Arcadia's bow, Gorman's hammer, and-" She did a double take. "Six?" She pointed at Nyssa. "And just who are you? Oh well, it doesn't matter. You, my dear, hold my own weapon."

She turned to stare at Amelia. "Such valuable and powerful objects. Now why do you think Allanya would give you such things, Amelia Galiana?"

Amelia staggered. "How do you know my name?" She demanded.

"I know many things, my very distant niece. Far more than you, it would seem." She stared at the daggers again. "I will have you know, I don't appreciate being stabbed." She turned to Artis. "You have misbehaved, so now I will take your toys away."

The daggers began to glow black in her hands. They smoked, then melted into slag. Nothing was left but a pair of useless handles. Artis doubled over like she'd been punched in the gut.

"Oh, did you take these with you through Univix too?" Eclipsis inquired. "Lovely! That means you're connected to them too! It must be agony to feel them being destroyed."

Dhalia glanced at the rest of the Classix. A wordless agreement passed between them. They charged.

Eclipsis met them, two extra pairs of arms sprouting from her body, her hands turning into razor sharp blades of steel. She met Dhalia's first strike with one of her own blades, then sliced off one end of the double bladed weapon just where the handle met the metal of the blade. Dhalia winced. Fighting the pain, she brought the other end of the weapon up in a blinding arc. Eclipsis sidestepped and severed the other end of the weapon. Dhalia collapsed, sobbing in pain.

Reyva swung her hammer in brutal blow directed at Eclipsis's head. Unfortunately, she was too fast and the hammer struck the edge of one of her blades. A deep dent appeared in the hammer, and crack raced across the weapon. Reyva pulled back, wincing in pain.

Perdi fired her second arrow into the space Reyva left as she moved away from Eclipsis. The arrow flew towards Eclipsis, but she rolled past it, hooking one of her hand blades under the head of the arrow, spinning it around in midair and throwing it back at Perdi. It struck the bow, passing through it and severing the string. The released tension shattered the weapon and drove Perdi to her knees.

Amelia swung her twin blades in a complex pattern, forcing Eclipsis to step back. Beside her, Nyssa's blade rang as she joined the assault. They were doing it! Eclipsis had been forced back on the defensive! Then everything went wrong. Eclipsis caught each of Amelia's swords between two of her own blades. The metal protested, screeching. Then, with a sound like a crystal bell, they shattered. Amelia fell to the ground, overwhelmed by the agony coursing through her.

Nyssa stepped forward. Skill battled power as blades flashed and rang. Behind Nyssa, the Classix slowly got to their feet, the pain beginning to ebb. Nyssa feinted high, then swung low. She parried and lunged, dodged and stabbed, ducked and slashed. Nothing landed. Eclipsis always managed to dodge or block each attack. Nyssa feinted a thrust, then swung for Eclipsis's feet.

Eclipsis jumped, and landed on the blade. Her weight bent the blade, then snapped it in two. Immediately, Eclipsis fell to the ground, clutching her head in pain.

"I never went through Univix." Nyssa said smugly. "You did."

"Now, while she's vulnerable!" Dhalia shouted. All six fairies took to the air. They surrounded Eclipsis.

"Mind Blast!" Perdi placed her hands on her temples and a beam of power blasted from her forehead to strike Eclipsis.

"Mystic Ray!" Amelia cried, firing her own blast of energy from her hands.

"Electrokinetic Wave!" Dhalia clapped her hands together and a line of crescent shaped bursts of energy crashed into Eclipsis.

"Reality Shock!" The air seemed to scream as Reyva's power distorted it on its way to Eclipsis.

"Chronal Pulse!" Artis shouted. A beam extended from her hands to Eclipsis and Artis sent pulses of energy down its length to smash into their foe.

Nyssa held her hands out to her sides. In one hand, she held a ball of pure white. In the other, an obsidian orb glowed with power. "Midnight Sunbeam!" She brought the two orbs together in front of her where they merged into a swirling ball of black and white magic. A beam blasted out from it, black and white magic spiraling around each other as they flew towards Eclipsis.

The six beams converged on Eclipsis, forming a six pointed star made of magic. Then, an explosion ripped through the clearing as the powers collided.

"That's enough!" Dhalia shouted. "Not even Bloom could have survived that."

They stopped attacking, panting with exertion. The smoke slowly cleared.

Eclipsis was still standing, completely unharmed. She turned to face each of the speechless girls in turn, her expression unreadable. "My turn." She said. Her hands had reverted to their normal form, and now she pointed one at each of the girls. Black energy beams fired from her hands, forcing the girls to dodge.

"Classix, regroup!" Amelia shouted. They flew over to her.

"We have to try a convergence attack!" Amelia said.

"With what?" Artis demanded. "That last attack drained most of our power and she didn't miss a beat!"

"We have to try. Converge all your magic on me." Amelia said, pulling out one of the two remaining Ember Stones. "We're going to hit her with the Dragon Fire."

"Dragon fire?" Eclipsis asked, merging her arms back together to form a single pair. "You are in possession of the Great Dragon's Fire? Then please, use it. This has been dreadfully boring so far. Please, by all means, use this Dragon Fire you possess. Here, I'll even stand still for you."

"You're going to regret that." Amelia said. "Now girls!"

Power flowed from the other five girls into Amelia, and then into the Ember Stone. It shattered into a small flame that quickly grew into a raging inferno. "Universal Dragon Blast!" Amelia shouted. A beam of reddish energy flew towards Eclipsis, roaring with the full power of the cosmos.

Eclipsis caught it with her bare hands. Power began to accumulate in her hands, forming a massive ball of energy. "You're really not very good at this." Eclipsis said, and she threw the ball back at the Classix. They scattered as Eclipsis chased them with her own attacks.

"This is impossible!" Reyva said, dodging a black orb. "That blast should have taken her out!"

"Obviously not." Dhalia shot back, ducking under a disk of energy.

"What can we do?" Perdi asked as a beam shot past her. "We've got nothing left!"

Amelia flew over to Nyssa. "I know you're holding back." Amelia hissed.

"You don't understand."

"I understand just fine, cousin. We're all about to die unless we do something. You still have power left. Use it!"

"I can't!"

"Why not?"

"I can only use my full power when I'm Sasha. You already have one monster trying to kill you, you don't need two. If I try to channel my full power, I'll lose control."

Amelia thought for a moment. "Then maybe it's time to lose control." In one swift move Amelia removed the white earring from Nyssa's ear.

"What do you think you're doing? Are you insane?" She fell to the ground. "Aaaahhhhh!" A blinding light filled the clearing. When it was gone, Sasha stood in her old draconic form.

"What. Did. You. Do?" Dhalia demanded.

"Either bought us some time, or killed us even faster." Amelia said.

Sasha stared down at the scene before her. The annoying fairies were here, but also another woman. Eclipsis. Mother.

Sasha opened her mouth and let loose with a withering inferno, bathing Eclipsis in flame. When it faded, Eclipsis was slightly singed and staring at Sasha. "Daughter?"

"My name is Sasha! My father gave me that name, after he took me from you. You, you didn't care. As long as you had my brother, you were happy. Your new weapon. Your ultimate soldier." She unleashed another blast of flame. "You didn't care about him any more than you cared about me though. You never even gave us names!" With that, she opened her maw and blasted Eclipsis with a white hot pillar of fire.

"Know your place." Eclipsis said from within the inferno. "I am your mother, and you will obey me!"

"No. I'm going to kill you!" The flames intensified.

"You can try." Eclipsis said. She grew in size, swelling from the size of a human to her own dragon shape, more than twice the size of Sasha. The two dragons flew at each other and began to fight.

"Congratulations." Artis said to Amelia. "You've bought us all of about five minutes. Sasha can't win against Eclipsis and you know it."

"She doesn't have to win." Amelia replied "Just distract her."

"So we can run away?" Artis asked.

"No." Dhalia answered for Amelia. "This gives us an opening, and I think I know how we can use it."

"She's brushed off all of our attacks! How will her being distracted change anything?"

Dhalia looked at Reyva. "Do you think you have enough power left?"

"I'll need help."

"Artis and I will assist you. Perdi." She turned. "When Eclipsis wins, we'll need you to try to keep her from moving. Do whatever it takes, but just get her to hold still. Amelia-"

"I'll fix Sasha."

"Good."

"If you don't explain what you have in mind right now..." Artis's said in an ominous voice.

"Ungrateful brat!" Eclipsis roared as Sasha blasted her in the face with flames.

"Worthless parent!" Sasha retorted, only to get kicked in the gut.

"Insufferable child!" Eclipsis grabbed Sasha and threw her to the ground, slamming down on top of her. Sasha lay still, utterly beaten. "And let that be a lesson to you, oh daughter of mine. Never challenge me."

"Hey Eclipsis." Perdi said, dropping down to hover in front of the monstrous matriarch's face. Eclipsis blinked.

"Do you really want to die that badly?" She asked.

"No, I have something to show you. Thought Projection!" Eclipsis reeled as Perdi forced open her mind and crammed in an overwhelming flow of information. "Now girls!"

Reyva, Dhalia, and Artis dropped in behind Eclipsis's head. Dhalia drew her damaged hammer as the other two channeled their powers into her. "Hyperspace Smash!" Reyva yelled as she swung for the back of Eclipsis's head. The hammer's head seemed to compress down to a thin line as it moved through the air. It struck the tyrant with a sound like a bomb going off. The hammer head shattered on impact, knocking Reyva out of the air with pain, only to be caught by Artis and Dhalia. Eclipsis's eyes rolled back and she slumped forward, knocked unconscious by the force of the blow. She reverted to her human form as Amelia swooped in and reattached the earring to Sasha, returning her to her fairy form.

The Classix gathered. Amelia was helping Nyssa to get to her feet while Artis and Dhalia were supporting Reyva between them.

"We have to move fast." Dhalia said. "Reyva, we need a portal, and we need it now."

"Right." She summoned the last dregs of her power. "Spacial Rift." The gateway opened and the Classix struggled through, dragging the unconscious Eclipsis behind them.

A/N: I'm pretty sure I've mentioned my dislike for action scenes before. If not, let me say it again. I hate writing action scenes. And of course, this chapter was pretty much nothing but action scene. Ugh.

They have Eclipsis! They've won, right? ...right?
