Here's chapter 11! Thank you for all the reviews, favs, and alerts! In this chapter, you'll find out how everyone reacts to the news that Finn and Rachel are expecting baby number 2. I promise you that in this chapter, when it comes to Rachel's dads, it'll go over a lot well than last time.
I don't own Glee. I only own the character Cory.
Enjoy!
The group walked back into the choir room, where the rest of the glee club had a study hall. Everyone was looking at Kurt and Rachel, anticipating what they were going to say. The petite girl tried to avoid contact with everyone as she took an end seat. Finn sat next to her and placed arm around her shoulders comfortingly.
"How'd it go?" Tina asked.
"It. was. amazing," Kurt stated in three simple words with a grin. He immediately went up to the front of the room to speak. "Carmen Tibideaux was very impressed with my performance." While he explained everything, Rachel was in a daze. She just gave up her dream school for her baby. She remembered when she was a little girl and she put her dreams before anything else. That was before fate decided to give her a baby at the age of sixteen, and give her another one at eighteen. Ever since Cory arrived, family came first in her mind. And it appeared now more than ever it was going to stay that way.
"Remember, you did the right thing," Finn gently whispered in her ear. "I think now is the time to tell them."
She nodded when he stated his opinion. It was rare for the glee club to see Rachel this depressed. She knew that they were all wondering what was going on.
"How'd it go for you, Rachel?" Mercedes questioned. Everyone turned their heads over to the couple. They let out a sigh and walked up to the front of the room together.
"We have an announcement to make," Finn said, grabbed a hold of his girlfriends hand. It was always reassuring whenever he did that. It let her know he was there for her.
"I didn't audition today," Rachel revealed, and the reactions of the club varied. Some of their mouths dropped open with shock, some seemed supportive, and some seemed upset.
"Why not? New York is your dream," Artie said.
"It is and it always will be, but something's come up and I've decided not to go."
"Please don't tell us you're dying," Puck blurted out. Quinn rolled her eyes at his statement.
"No, it's not that. Finn, can you tell them please?" she asked.
"A week ago, Rachel received a letter from her doctor. And we found out that she's pregnant with our second child. She decided not to audition for NYADA because with another baby on the way, she can't go to New York."
"Are you still going to go to Ohio State?" Mike asked.
"I'm still thinking about that one. I may or may not, I don't know yet," Rachel looked at the group with hope on her face. "This doesn't mean my dreams are over though. One day. I am going to New York with or without college. And I'm going to bring Finn, Cory, and the little guy or girl growing inside of me."
"And we'll always be there to support you too, Rachel," Mr. Schuester said with a grin.
"Even though some of us are going different places, we'll be there when Doorknob 2.0 is born," Santana commented. She always had to say something rude about him, but they were still friends despite of that.
"Thank you guys," Finn said, giving Rachel a kiss on the cheek. Now all they had to do was tell their parents again.
Rachel held Cory in her hands as her and Finn walked into their house and guided him to the living room. He was getting really heavy, which wasn't fun for her arms. They ambled towards the living room, gently placing him on one of the chairs. "Mama."
"Mama and Dada have something to tell you, Cory. It's something very important, so you need to listen closely," she told him, sitting on the floor at his eye level. Finn did the same too, but he still seemed bigger than him.
"Food?" he asked.
"No Cory, you aren't getting food."
"Toy?" he asked again.
"No Cory, you aren't getting a toy." it was funny to hear their son groan with disappointment when he didn't get his way. He was so innocent, and telling him he was getting a younger sibling was weird. Especially at this age. "You're going to get a baby brother or sister in the months to come."
"B-b-baby?" that new word seemed to adjust to his tongue quickly.
"Yes, baby," Finn smiled.
"No baby," Cory pouted. "I baby."
"We know your the baby of the family right now, but when you're older you'll have a couple more siblings to deal with too. I promise you'll always be our Little Cor," the brunette gave her son a kiss on the forehead. The went to put him in his playpen while they got dinner ready for their parents. Kurt would be accompanying Finn's family too, since they were going to talk about how the NYADA audition went
-more-than-words-
"So, how did your NYADA auditions go today you two?" Burt asked as he passed the mashed potatoes to Kurt. Rachel was sitting next to Cory's high chair, helping him eat his macaroni and cheese that she made especially for him. He also had some broccoli too with some orange juice.
"No help," her son complained.
"Are you sure you're okay with eating yourself?" she whispered. He clearly was because he was slowly eating his food without any fuss. It was hard seeing him grow up, but it was nice to see him do more things independently.
"It went wonderful. I was originally going to do The Music of the Night from Phantom, but I changed it to Not the Boy Next Door from The Boy from Oz. I'm happy I made that switch, because Carmen loved it. She was very pleased with my performance and she liked the twist I put on it," Kurt repeated the same words he said earlier at school. He took a few more minutes to explain the process of how it went before eating some of his dinner.
"And it go for you Pumpkin?" LeRoy questioned. Crap. She didn't want him to ask that question. For once, she didn't want to be in the spotlight. She just wanted to be invisible right now.
"Um..." she froze, looking over at Cory. She was hoping he'd spill his food so she'd have to clean it up for him. Of course, he didn't do that. "I didn't audition today."
"Was it nerves or something?" Carole asked, concerned.
"No, it was just..." Rachel took a minute to take a bite out of her food. This gave her time to think about what to do.
"Baby."
The teenagers dropped their utensils when they heard their son say the word baby.
"Cory, do you know what you're saying?" Hiram asked.
"Baby," he repeated.
"What is he talking about, Finn?" Burt requested an answer.
"Rachel's pregnant. She'll be seven weeks along tomorrow, and that's the reason why she didn't audition for NYADA," he explained briefly, and she was relieved. That was finally off her chest. Now she had something else to reveal too.
"That's also why I'm going to be taking online courses at Ohio State. There's going to be a toddler and newborn around the house, so it's best if I'm here with them. And I can work on other days when I don't have school," she hoped Finn would be okay with this, since she just told everyone at the table her plan.
"I was going to ask if you two were able to handle this, but you probably can. It'll be a little bit harder this time around because of Cory, but I think you two can do it," LeRoy said. Everyone at the table was supportive of them.
"That sounds like a plan," Finn gave her a kiss on the cheek.

I've decided I'm going to do "PM me for a spoiler" again. If you would like to hear a spoiler for this story, just PM me and I'll tell you. Everyone will get the same exact one, because if I gave everyone a different one that wouldn't be fair.
Coming up in chapter 12: Random Finchel moments with Cory, and Kurt finds out if he's accepted into NYADA.
