Hi everyone! Thank you for all the favs, alerts, and reviews! Sorry for the delay, I haven't really been in the mood to write lately. Also, I've been dealing with tendinitis in my shoulder, which can be painful at times. I'm also trying to figure out what to write about after the second Finchel baby is born. Hopefully I'll figure it out soon. I'm open for ideas if you guys want to suggest any.

I don't own Glee. The only characters I own are Jack, Olivia, and Cory Hudson.

Enjoy!

"I'm very sorry, but your boyfriend has passed away."

Finn felt shock rush through his veins. Jack was dead? He didn't know what to think right now, and who knows what Olivia was thinking about right now.

"Are you sure you're talking about Jack Aiden Warwick? Dirty blonde hair, tall, and has the most magnificent blue eyes? Are you sure you're talking about my Jack?" he didn't even have to see her face to know she was tearing up.

"Yes, I am talking about him ma'am. Since you were not listed as his emergency contact we have to alert his family so pick up his personal items," the doctor explained. Before he walked away, he said a few more words. "Once again, I am so very sorry. If you'd like to see him I'll take him to you when his family arrives."

Finn could barely hear his friend's breathing, and wanted to cry when she turned around to reveal the look on her face. Her tears left a black mascara trail running down her cheeks. "This has to be a dream...F-Finn...pl-ease tell me this is just a nightmare."

The waterworks erupted shortly after that, and Olivia shoved herself into his chest so no one would see her cry. He tightened his grip around her and gently shushed her. It was a shame that someone so young had to die so soon.

Once Jack's family arrived, Finn was the only one who stayed in the waiting room. Technically, he had already seen his deceased friend in a bed earlier in the morning; and he certainly didn't want to see it again. It was clear that him and Olivia wouldn't be going to school today, so he texted Jeff and hold him what was going on and to tell their professor what happened. By tomorrow morning everyone would know that Jack was gone for good.

After everyone said their goodbyes, Finn and Olivia drove back to her apartment to try and clean things up.

"I'm going to kill that bitch," Olivia growled. "Lila killed Jack. If she never said anything about him dropping dead Monday he'd still be here."

Finn kept his mouth shut the rest of the way there. Once they got to her apartment they cleaned up all of the beer bottles they hid in cabinets so the paramedics wouldn't see them. He placed the last can in a garbage bag before letting his body hit the couch, and he let out another long and hard sigh. Olivia sat next to him in more of a daze than he was.

"Now what do we do?," she questioned, but it didn't sound like a question. It sounded more like a phrase. A phrase that seemed to be her way to trying to accept that her boyfriend was dead and that she should move on.

"I should probably go, Rachel is probably wondering where I am," he said getting up. "I can take the garbage out for you if you want me to."

"No, I'll take it out," she clarified.

"Are you going to go to school tomorrow?" he asked while his hand was on the cold doorknob.

"Probably not...See ya later Finn," Olivia answered as she looked for the TV remote.

"Bye," Finn left the apartment and got into his car, nervous about what was going to happen when he got home.

"Santana, since Finn doesn't know you're here, can you stay in Cory's room and play with him to keep him occupied?" Rachel asked as she sat down on the couch holding Cory on her lap.

"Of course. Cory loves spending time with his auntie doesn't he?" she smiled.

"Auntie Snixx!" he called out. They sat there for a few more minutes before they saw Finn's car pull in the driveway. "Daddy!"

"Alright Cory, why don't you go play with Auntie Santana for a bit in your room?" Rachel placed her son in Santana's arms.

"Daddy..." he pointed to the door with despair.

"You'll see him soon, I promise Little Cor," she comforted him by stroking his foot gently. She watched as the two went into her son's room, and once she heard his door shut the side door opened.

"Rach, are you here?" Finn called out. Her heart beat started to race faster as she heard his footsteps get closer and closer. She let out one final sigh before he entered the living room.

"Hey..."

"Sit, then speak," Rachel commanded him as if he was a dog. He did exactly as she said though, and took a seat in the chair next to the couch.

"I am so, so sorry for getting up and leaving last night. That was totally uncalled for, and I should have told you that my friends were coming over instead of yelling," he said simply.

"Is that all you have to say? Is that all you have to say?!" she asked as soon as she stood up from her seat.

"I could tell you why I've just come back now..." he said.

"Dang it Finn! I knew you wouldn't remember what you did last night! What did you actually do last night?" Rachel cried out.

"I-I don't remember," Finn stuttered as he looked around nervously.

"Here, look for yourself," she threw her phone at him and rubbed her head as she walked back over to the couch. She wanted to see the look on his face when he saw the video.

And when she saw it, it made her feel better in a sickening way. Once it was over he gently handed it back to her and he had a frown on his face.

"I...I am so sorry Rachel. Jack -"

"I really don't care how you got that drunk. And I'm sorry Finn, but after you finish this project I don't want you talking to those two anymore. Look what they've done," Rachel said sternly with wet eyes.

"Well, talking to Jack won't be too hard," Finn replied seriously.

"Now's not the time to be smart with me Finn."

"I am being serious. Jack died of alcohol poisoning, I would have been much home sooner if he was still alive. I had to stay with Olivia at the hospital and I did until I dropped her off back at her apartment. And based off her reaction to his death, I probably won't see her for a long time," he explained.

"I'm sorry for her loss." she whispered.

"It doesn't matter anyways."

"The video is a breaking point for me Finn. I'm not going to yell because that could distress the baby. I really can't talk about this now, honestly. I can't even look at you... I don't want you in this house Finn."

"Wait, what? You're kicking me out?" Finn was surprised as he stood out of his chair.

"There's a suitcase in ou- my room packed for you. I called you mom and she said you can stay with her and Burt," Rachel was looking at the floor, she was trying to avoid eye contact so hard it hurt.

"Y-You can't do this!"

"Please, just go Finn. I don't want Cory to hear you."

"Fine," he stormed away into their room and grabbed his suitcase as quickly as he could. Without a goodbye he left the house with a slamming of the door. The door of Cory's bedroom opened and she saw her son run into the middle of the living room towards the front window.

"Daddy? Daddy!" he cried out as he started to throw a tantrum. Santana followed after him and fell down on the couch next to Rachel.

"Can I get you anything?" the Latina asked.

"I really, really hate to sound needy, but can you stay here for a bit please?" Rachel asked with her hands covering her eyes. She didn't want her friend to see that she was crying.

"Of course, I'll stay here for as long as you need. I dropped out of college anyways, and I have enough money from my mom for a mansion here in Lima so I can help you with anything you need."

"Thank you so much."

"What are friends for?"

Finn arrived as his mom and step-dad's house about ten minutes later, hearing them ask a million questions about what happened. He ignored them completely and jogged into the guest bedroom. His suitcase was thrown on the bed and it hit the wall, almost breaking it. Finn then threw the desk chair across the room in frustration before collapsing on his bed. It took another ten minutes to cool off before he unpacked his suitcase since he knew he'd be staying here for more than a week.

The zipper unzipped quickly, and Finn threw the flap backwards to reveal everything in there. The first thing he saw made him realize he screwed things up big time.

How could he be so stupid?

It was her engagement ring.

So, are you surprised Rachel asked Finn to move out? Do you think they'll be able to work things out before their second baby arrives? Post what you think in your review!

Coming up in chapter 23: Fast forward two months into November. Rachel and Santana are still adjusting to their new living styles and Finn is asked to help out with the New Directions while Mr. Schue is sick, and he uses this as an advantage to get Rachel to talk to him again.
