Hey everyone! Thank you for all the favs, alerts, and reviews! I'm glad this fanfic has hit 200+ reviews! Congrats to FinchelFan728 for being the 200th! LilDevyl asked why Rachel was at the school in the previous chapter. Since that's one of the things I forgot to put in the last chapter I threw in the reason why she did so in this one.

Like I said, I'm sorry the last chapter was bad, because it definitely wasn't my best. I hope this one makes up for it though.

I don't own Glee. I only own the character Cory Hudson.

Enjoy!

Someone was prodding their finger at Rachel's face, and she didn't like it.

She didn't need this, not today.

She was about a month away from her due date, and she was aching everywhere. It was the 23th of November now, and Sectionals was coming up on Friday for the New Directions. Rachel wanted to help out, but no one would let her since she was so far along.

"Me hungwy," now she knew who was poking her. None other than her son, Cory. The brunette opened her eyes to grasp his finger gently and place his hand by his side. She had gotten him a toddler bed recently since he had been crawling out of his crib at night, but she wasn't sure if that was a good idea still.

"Cory Sean Hudson, why were you poking me?" Rachel asked. Once she realized she wasn't in room, she figured out why he was doing so. She must have fallen asleep on the couch the night before watching TV. It made her wonder why Santana didn't wake her up.

"Me hungwy," he repeated. "Auntie Snixx said she won't feed me."

"Well, if Aunt Santana ever wants to have children with Aunt Brittany, then she needs to help out with you," Rachel slowly got up from the couch and waddled like a penguin into the kitchen. "What do you want to eat?"

"Blueberries and ceweal?" Cory asked. Him pronouncing his rs was getting better for him, but only by a little. It was a great work in progress though. She got out the blueberries from the fridge and placed them in a bowl while she got out the cereal and filled it up in a bigger bowl. She also got some milk for him and placed it right next to everything else.

"Can you help me carry your blueberries into the dining room?" Rachel handed him the little bowl and they made their way into the dining room. She placed his milk and cereal on the small table she had bought for him. Once he sat down, he started to gobble up his food pleasantly. The brunette made her way back into the living room to grab her phone, noticing she received a text from Quinn.

"Guess who's in Lima!" - Quinn.

She texted back. "Who?"

"Puck, Mercedes, Mike and I! Finn asked us to help out with mentoring the group and such."

"Oh yeah, Finn told me about that." Rachel responded. Her and Finn were slowly starting to talk again, but it wasn't very often. Whenever he sent her a text now, she'd politely respond. She even let Cory see him now, but it was only once a week. If Blaine never called her and asked her to come to the school for help that day, then she and Finn would have never talked to each other. That duet really helped them start talking again. Once she talked to Quinn for a few more minutes, she got a call from Finn.

"Hello?" she asked.

"Hey," he said in his usual tone.

"What's up?"

"I just wanted to check up on Cory. Is he okay?" he asked.

"Yep. He's eating breakfast now, some cereal and blueberries."

"Sounds delicious," she could tell he had a smile on his face. "And how are you and baby number two?"

"I'm achy today, but I'll live. I had an appointment last Thursday to check on the baby and he's doing good. Dr. Chin said he'll probably arrive right around his due date as planned. Hopefully he's not late like Cory was."

"Yeah, me too. Anyways, I was wondering if you could come help for mentoring today if you're not too busy?"

"I'll try. Let me call my dads and asked them if they can watch over Cory for a bit and I'll let you know. Do you want me to bring Santana too?"

"Sure, just in case some fighting goes on she'll be able to break it up. Or she'll be the one to start a fight...oh well. Bring her anyways."

"Will do. See you," once Finn said his goodbyes, she hung up the phone and went to go get ready. Santana was luckily off all week because...well, she didn't know exactly why she got a whole week off. She didn't know and she really didn't want to know anyways.

Now that Rachel was walking through the halls of McKinley again, she remembered what it was like doing so eight months pregnant. She remembered how much she hated it too; from walking around in the crowded corridors to feeling everyone's eyes burning on her and her stomach. Santana was by her side though, so she felt a little bit better about herself. Rachel even heard someone whispering about her, which made her feel insecure again.

"Ignore them," Santana demanded. "They're losers, their opinions don't matter anymore."

She nodded, still feeling hurt. Once they got into the choir room, it was just the alumni in there. The New Directions had classes to deal with anyways and she didn't know when music was in their schedule this year.

"Hey you two!" Mike greeted the both of them as they walked in to the center. Everyone exchanged hugs before everyone's eyes went towards Rachel's belly.

"The baby's gotten big," Quinn commented with a smile.

"When are you due again?" Mike asked.

"Around the 20th of next month. I'm not hoping he's not overdue like Cory was. Now that was torture," she groaned just thinking about. She wanted this baby to be as healthy as he possibly could be, but at the same time she wanted him out.

"Especially since you were in labor during Regionals. You know, you never told us what that was like," Mercedes said.

"Well, we've got time to kill, so I'll tell you the full story," when Rachel was halfway through, the current New Directions slowly started to fill the room. She was surprised to see there weren't that many kids in the glee club. Soon enough, Finn was in the room too.

"Good afternoon everyone!" his eyes went from the kids to his former classmates. "And please give a warm welcome to our former members; Mike, Puck, Quinn, Mercedes, Santana, and Rachel!"

Once the applause calmed down, he explained how some of the kids were going to get mentors to help them out for the next couple of days. Rachel didn't get to mentor anyone to her dismay, but she was still able to help out with everything else like music selection and such. For today, he assigned the group to partner up to break down the songs for that year's theme: Indie. They decided to do the song Ho Hey by The Lumineers as a group, and they were going to decide on another song before Friday.

"C'mon dude, you were partners with her for the duets," Ryder said to Jake while Marley was in between the two boys.

"That's because we sound good together," Jake replied right back. They then fought back in forth with words involving Grease and chemistry.

"Enough! Please! We don't need anymore drama involving couples! First Finn and Rachel broke up, and now you three," Santana complained, but instantly knew she said the wrong thing. No one in that room knew about the drama between them except for the two themselves, Blaine, and Santana.

"What? Are you serious? What happened?" the whole room interrogated with astonishment. Hearing everyone's voices gave Rachel a headache and she stormed out to the room in tears. Santana followed her friend into the hallway where she was crying against the wall.

"Rachel - even though I don't say this often - I'm sorry. I really -"

"Please don't talk right now," she whimpered.

"I'll move out if you want me too, I'll get an apartment nearby or something."

"I'm not going to tell you to move out, not yet anyway."

"What do you mean not yet?"

"Eventually Finn might move back in. I don't know when but he will. Now please, just leave me alone," Rachel had a feeling her mood swings were about to kick in so she just walked away to go clear her mind for a bit.

-more-than-words-

The week flew by quickly, and it was now Friday. Everyone was off because it was the day after Thanksgiving , but she didn't understand why Sectionals was scheduled for Black Friday. "Who knows," Rachel thought as she made her way to the auditorium holding Cory's hand. The seats were slowly starting to fill up, and of course she had to use the bathroom. After asking the couple next to her to watch other her seat, she rushed to the bathroom to get out of there as quickly as possible. Rachel had to take Cory with her since she didn't trust anyone with her son except select people. Once the brunette made her way out, Finn was walking towards her looking nervous.

"Daddy!" Cory exclaimed, letting go of his mother's hand to dash towards his dad. Finn crouched down to grab his son and flew him in the air gently.

"Hey there! I've missed you!" he said with the largest smile on his face.

"Me too," Cory replied as he gave his dad a kiss on the cheek. He placed him down on the floor next to his mom, and once again gripped onto her hand tightly.

"Can we talk quickly right now?" Rachel asked.

"Shoot," Finn said as he comfortably put his hands in his pockets.

"I was thinking in a couple weeks or something, we should get together and talk about our situation. Clearly Cory misses you and our second baby is coming soon. He's going to need his dad, not Santana," she explained.

"Yeah, I think that'll work. We'll have to be careful though with planning because my final exams are from the 6th to the 12th, so I'm going be spending most of my time studying for those," Rachel was thankful she didn't have to take any exams, she didn't miss those at all.

"Fine with me, we can talk about when after the performances," she decided. They went their separate ways once they agreed to do that afterwards.

Now things we in progress.

Hope this chapter is better than the last one for you guys!
