Chapter 27: Dentist & Archaeology
O-M-G! We are so close to the end that I've already finished the first chapter of the second season! XD I was actually just in the mood for writing something for the second season, really. So I could upload it as soon as we finish this fic. But don't you worry people, because it's not going to end before it would actually end! (But I liked this cast, so it's gonna be sad to not be able to write about them after this is finished. DX)
Toady: Another clue? Please, do share! I would like to know if the clues are too obvious or not. XD Well… they are, kind of. Since it's already the final 4, I guess it's alright if Toadiko and Junior break their coalition, unless, one of them is the Mole, that is. I don't mind if you use references to my fics at all, so go ahead! XD Thanks for the permission, though. XD
Happy Yoshi: You seemed really focused on Rosalina as the Mole right now, haha! XD She could be the Mole, she could not be the Mole, well, time would tell. In that first episode, it was quite funny to write about Boomerang, and the last episode was quite fun to write about, with the loved ones. XD
"Wow, this place is great. Just a bit… green." Junior looked around, surprised that the entire place is green.
Monty chuckled, "That is why it's called the Beanbean Kingdom!"
"Oh yeah, nice one there." Junior said sarcastically.
Toadiko glanced around, "So, what's the challenge?"
Toadiko: I know that I'm in for something. Considering that fact that I 'accidentally' put my hand up during the question of Monty's. Dental appointments… please don't tell me that we have to get a dental appointment. That's like the Dice Dare mission.
"Now," Monty started, "I will first guide Toadiko and Junior to the local dentist before coming back for Rosalina and Paratroopa. So don't move too much before I get back." With the, the three went off.
Paratroopa: Great, waiting, again. I hate this, please let something entertaining happen right now.
"Oh, what brings you here, Rosalina?" A women in white clothing walked up to the space princess.
"Blanche!" Rosalina gasped, "Shokora, too!"
The other women, clad in purple flung her head away. "Rosalina, look at you, coming to a kingdom with a disguised disgrace?! You ought to have better closing with you, rather than just your sportswear."
"Sorry," Rosalina laughed sheepishly, "But anyways, I am on a reality show right now, so I don't think wearing a dress and a pair of high-heels will help much."
"I would rather wear high-heels than sportswear." The woman, probably Shokora, stated.
The other woman, Blanche agreed with a nod. "Anyways, we must be off. A stupid airhead is expect me."
"And two stupid idiots are about to start arguing again, I have to stop these children." Shokora decided as well.
Rosalina laughed, "Alright, see you ladies later!"
"Farewell!" With that, the two of them went off.
Paratroopa looked confused, "Well… that was certainly weird."
"Sorry, just friends of mine." Rosalina giggled as Monty came back, ready to lead them to the local museum.
Paratroopa: Yep, definitely entertained, in a different way, of course.
Toadiko and Junior received an envelope as they walked into the dentist room, wearing white coats. "Hmm… oh good, we don't have to have a dentist appointment, we are giving a dentist appointment." Toadiko giggled.
Junior raised an eyebrow. "What? I don't get it."
"See?" Toadiko handed him the letter, "We have to treat 10 patients, and if one of them rates us 8 or above on a scale of 10, we will win the challenge and 15000 coins."
"Not as much, but oh well, let's roll out!" Junior laughed.
Junior: To be honest, I have no idea how does a dentist appointment goes, let's see if I actually have a single bit of idea on what to do first…
Toadiko picked up a disc, "Since this dentist place was rented for us and we still have an hour to go until the first one arrives, let's see if we could lean the procedure by learning it from this video."
"Meh, that's the only option." Junior agreed to it.
Toadiko: I'm not very confident with myself actually. We even have to greet and take care of the guests. Err… it's not going to be the easiest challenge alive for us. Since there's too many aspects that could go wrong in this game. Hopefully, no one will get the wrong tooth pulled out by us.
Paratroopa and Rosalina was left inside the empty museum by themselves as well.
"Is it just me or does this place look very messy?" Paratroopa brought up, eyeing everything on the group.
Rosalina ripped open the envelope. "It says that we have to find and put the correct things onto the correct podium under 3 hours. There are 10 items in total, also if we manage to get all of them correct without any mistakes, 15000 coins will be added into the pot."
"There's actually no room to fail here. 3 hours is quite enough for finding 10 items." Paratroopa laughed.
Rosalina shook her head firmly. "Incorrect, look at all of the items we have to find and put down."
"Oh, boy." Paratroopa looked surprised at the list.
Rosalina: We have to find all these weird items, most of them, I don't even have an idea what they are. Could this list be made up by someone as a prank? Or are these products real, and we are just dumb enough to not know?
"Let's see…" Paratroopa read the list out. "Ocean-Orb, Tree-Syrup, Amber, Addictive-Lotion, Obsidian, Aloe-Root, Peppermint-Candy, Rational-Campus, Rating-Documents, and Paper-Scroll."
Rosalina put a finger to her chin. "As much as I hate to say it and don't seem like a knowledge expert like I should be as a scholar, I have no idea what half of them means."
"I completely agree, I have no idea what Rational-Campus is." Paratroopa rolled his eyes.
Rosalina pointed at the wall, where three door were displayed.
Paratroopa looked very confused at the words on the doors.
One has 'Mission Clue'.
Another has 'Mole Identity'.
The final one has 'Location Burst'.
Toadiko grabbed a pair of scissors. "No, this isn't it." She put the scissors down and took the tweezers instead. "How do I do this again?"
"I don't know." Junior yawned casually.
Toadiko: The two of us are completely hopeless in this challenge. I am not getting how to do this procedure at all and Junior… he's not really contributing to this one bit. I'm sorry Junior, but I think it's going to be very hard.
"Let's attempt to, we've just finished the 15 minute clip, I say that we do a small review." Toadiko told him, "I'm pretty sure for someone that has a bad tooth, inject the liquid to soothe the pain and pull it out?"
"I don't think so." Junior deadpanned, "Which tooth?"
"Good question." Toadiko said dumbly, not getting the point of the mission. "Actually, what do you think of the other way of doing it?"
Junior shrugged, "I don't know, let's just hope that we could do it right."
"It's not hope!" Toadiko snapped, "It's a must!"
Junior: Toadiko is quite focused on this money. Maybe she wishes to redeem herself from every sabotage-ish things that she has done up till now. Or that she wishes to cover up the part of her poor physical ability, she could be doing that.
Toadiko puffed her cheeks as she picked up the needle and loaded some liquid into it. "What's this liquid called?"
"I donno." Junior shrugged. "As if anyone would ask about it."
"I think so, but just in case?" Toadiko suggested to check the name of it.
"Nah, no one's gonna ask about it." Junior replied.
Toadiko: Junior is being a bit carefree in this mission. Not that I really minded though, however, I do exactly know that in order to succeed in this mission, we shouldn't act like that we are unprofessional. If we reveal the fact that we are not professionals, then… we are pretty much over with that customer.
"The items are all scattered around the museum, but none of them are at the same place or is hidden. Some of them are inside or on the decorations around the museum. That's all it says." Rosalina told Paratroopa.
Paratroopa looked a bit confused, "Anyways, the Mole clue room says that reshuffling everything will be good for you."
"Not much help for the mission." Rosalina concluded, "There's only one room left."
Rosalina: Paratroopa could very well be lying to me about what he actually told me. Last time I checked with him, he said that he wasn't very sure in his Mole decision. So maybe he's lying to me about that Mole clue, however, I am quite confident in my Mole pick and I do not wish to risk time to look at the message myself.
"Should we go inside there?" Paratroopa asked.
Rosalina firmly nodded, "Let us be off."
The two of them entered the final room, hoping to find something that would help their progress.
"Oh, this place is…" Rosalina gasped as she saw everything on the walls.

Paratroopa looked very confused, "I have no idea what this is."
"Same here." Rosalina admitted, "But… do you think it's a clue?"
"To what? The Mole, or the mission?" Paratroopa asked.
Rosalina thought for a moment. "I think… both."
"Huh?" Paratroopa didn't understand, but Rosalina only exited the room.
"Should I be…?" Paratroopa was about to follow, however he spotted something in the corner of the room. "Wait, this is…"
Paratroopa: Even though Rosalina has decided to exit this confusing room with only our names inside, I found myself staring at some… pictures at the corner of the room. We are so drawn into those names that… we completely missed those pictures. But… I have no idea what they stand for.
Toadiko invited their first customer inside. "Welcome, this is the local dentist."
"Duh, of course I know that!" The koopa shouted back, not caring a bit.
Toadiko rolled her eyes in sarcasm. "My name is Dr. Toadlina, Dr. Koopa is right in the room in at the right of you. Would you like any refreshments? Such as a cake, or something else?"
"Why would I have cake when I clearly need to not have any sweet stuff?! Stop offending people!" The grumpy koopa left.
After he left, Junior came out of the room. "Toadiko, did we fail on the first customer?"
"Duh we didn't." Toadiko said in sarcasm. "Right, we need a different method."
"But… aren't you the one that decided that we will have this method?" Junior asked.
Toadiko sighed, "You know what, I think we really should rethink of a plan."
"Definitely." Junior deadpanned. "You should think of something."
Junior: Although Toadiko is trying her best in keeping her profession in… she's not going so well. I have to admit, it is quite suspicious how within the first five minutes, she made the koopa to go away. She could actually be better with her wording.
Toadiko rolled her eyes, "Maybe you take care of the one coming this time, alright?"
"Not a bad idea, I'll settle an example for you." Junior agreed and got ready while Toadiko went into the room.
Very soon, the next person came, the goomba yawned as she looked at Junior. "Welcome to the dentist, Dr. Toadlina is expecting you."
"Oh yes, thank you." The goomba smiled.
"Junior? How do you use this again?" Toadiko's voice came.
Junior jumped a little, "Is that Dr. Toadlina?" The goomba asked.
Junior was about to say something, but Toadiko walked out. "Yep, I'm Dr. Toadlina."
"If you don't know what to do, then you're not a good doctor!" The goomba turned away and left, "I'll find a better dentist for this."
"… Thanks Toadiko, again." Junior face-palmed.
Toadiko giggled sheepishly, "Sorry Junior, I'm screwing up."
Toadiko: I'm currently all over the place in the mission, however, the only thing I'm not doing is going onto the right track. I say that I'm not the best person for something like this. One thing that I know is that I'm already accidentally scared away 2 out of the 10 possible people. Whoopsies!
Rosalina put a finger to her chin as she thought about the pictures. "I… don't understand these pictures."
"These lines aren't doing any good for us." Paratroopa said as he tried to understand what all of the lines, letters and dot doing in the pictures as he shuffled them around. "Do you think these are relevant at all?"
"Not really," Rosalina concluded, "Do you think it would be wiser to try to actually find those pictures?"
Paratroopa nodded, "Yes, I think it'd be alright… maybe. But I still think something is with these pictures…"
"I say that there is nothing among these pictures." Rosalina sighed, "Let us start searching. We've already wasted enough time going through these rooms, yet nothing came out."
Rosalina: It's ridiculous how we are wasting time for absolutely nothing. Paratroopa and I aren't doing anything too good right now. If we don't start our search soon, then we are definitely out of time.
Paratroopa: Rosalina insisted the fact that there is nothing in the pictures. But… I feel like it couldn't appear there all for nothing, there must be a second meaning in those lines, letters and dots, I'm clueless on this.
So, the players has officially started their seasonly (XD) double 15000 coin challenges! Once again, these challenges are different from the other stories'. XD Otherwise, it's gonna be a rip-off. XD
