Chapter 28: Here is an Exemption
Now, we shall uncover what the results of the double mission are, and as you see in the title, the final exemption shall be offered this chapter! XD
Happy Yoshi: Boomerang Bro… he's out of the running. XD Paratroopa and Rosalina are pretty good suspects, wait, anyone right now is a good suspect. XD The Mole is a very enjoyable role, you're not the villain or something, you are still a player in another way, so it's not like that the Mole is taking the role of Bowser in games. XD I chose Beanbean Kingdom mainly for fun, but I'll tell you something, there is a hidden clue towards the identity of the Mole that will only work in this place. XD Since this is a double upload, maybe you'll not notice again! XD
Spatterson: … Alright…? Thanks for that…?
Toady: Oooh! That's a good way of interpreting the text in both cases! But is it the only meaning? ;D Anyone could be the next victim at this stage, your biggest enemy, your top suspect (reminds me of Spy Among Authors for some reason :P) or your best friend. Your clue finding skills are spectacular! XD But as I've said before, maybe it's not the only way that you could look at it… ;)
NintendoMLP: Yeah… I did use the OCs for some reason… But it's gonna be the only time. XD When it says that the Mole is once again before the victim, there are two different people that is before the victim each time, Paratroopa being one of them. XD There could be a different way to look at it… or not. XD

"Oh, welcome!" Toadiko laughed as she guided the patient inside the room.
Toadiko: It's going very well up till now, and by going well, I mean that I didn't get the patient to go away under one minute after they stepped in. Hopefully, Junior will do well. But he said that he's not very confident earlier.
Junior quickly got the patient to sit down as he took a deep breath. "Let's begin." He told the patient.
The patient nodded. "Please do your best."
"Okiedokie…" Junior slowly injected the liquid into the patient's mouth. "Then it's this…" He picked up some tweezers.
"Ouch!" The boo jumped up as she clamped a hand over her mouth. "It's bleeding! What in the world did you just do?!"
Toadiko rushed into the room. "Err… injecting the liquid into your mouth?" Junior asked, nervous.
"What was it?" The boo demanded as Junior gulped. "Ha! This isn't a good place at all!"
"Oops." Junior laughed nervously.
After she stomped off, two people came inside. "Wait, this place isn't at all professional?"
"Err…" Toadiko was surprised how two people showed up before they were supposed to.
One of them stomped on the ground. "Let's go."
"No problems with me." The other agreed as they exited.
Junior: I feel like that the patients are being a bit too grumpy right now. Since all five that had just came. Almost none of them are in a good mood and they seemed to have a very formal based thing… are they all riches of the place?
Rosalina looked confused as she and Paratroopa made their way into the kitchen. "Oh my, this place is… unbelievable."
"It's just a kitchen." Paratroopa commented.
"Inside a museum? No way!" Rosalina gasped, "I have lost all faith in museums!"
Paratroopa rolled his eyes, "I guess it must be here for a reason."
"Ah, that must be why this is here!" Rosalina picked up a flower pot. "I guess this is why this kitchen was placed here."
Paratroopa took it. "There must be something inside, this flower pot don't even have a flower in it."
"But what could this mean…?" Rosalina took it back.
Paratroopa scratched his head. "I have no idea right now."
"Since this looks so out of place…" Rosalina smiled, "Let's see if this works."
She smashed it onto the ground.
Paratroopa jumped, "What?! Why did you do that?!"
"Aha, here's the aloe-root." Rosalina picked something up from the dirt.
Paratroopa looked confused, "How did you know?!"
"It's so out of place…" Rosalina giggled, "It would be so weird if this appeared here for nothing. "There must be an item here."
"Right, I'll put it on the 'aloe-root' podium." Paratroopa took the root. "You go looking for more things. I'm not as sharp as you are."
Rosalina nodded, "I shall do the deed."
Paratroopa: Although Rosalina is a very close friend that I made in this game, she's way too smart. Sure, I like her, but it's quite weird how she always pulls stuff out from nowhere. I wouldn't actually find if Rosalina's the Mole or the winner, I'm just glad that I made so many friends on this show. I wouldn't mind being executed this episode, I made it far enough already.
"This belongs here…" Paratroopa put the root onto the podium it belongs to before sighing. "Where's the rest?" He wondered to himself before pacing around.
Rosalina shouted from the other side. "Paratroopa! I found the rating-documents!"
Paratroopa turned away. "Coming!"
Rosalina: Apparently, these items don't seem to be that complicated as I thought. They are all in things that I don't think fits in the places they were hit in. Well… have you seen sheets stapled together hanging by the wall? I sure haven't before.
"They are just normal papers. And that tree-syrup is just tree oil." Rosalina put a hand to her face as she handed the items. "Let's see if there's anything else around."
Paratroopa only had time to nod before Rosalina found yet another item.
"Finally one that went well." Toadiko wiped a drop of sweat off her forehead.
Junior relaxed, leaning back in his chair. "It took us what, 7 tries?"
"Still 2 more to get good." Toadiko organized some files. "I guess we still have some tries left."
"Only two." Junior reminded her. "If we can make through this, it's going to be perfect for us."
Toadiko smiled. "I love it, 15000 coins will be in our hands in no time."
Toadiko: You have no idea how much of an achievement it is to perfectly pull of a procedure. Seriously, before this, we were failing in one way or another. Hopefully… the last 2 patients won't lose a tooth because of us, like the 7th one.
"I think someone is coming." Junior smiled as well.
Toadiko nervously laughed, "You know what. I think we are lucky to get one to have a good procedure."
"But we need some safeties." Junior correctly her before going out to get the patient inside.
Toadiko only have time to laugh a little before having to get ready for the patient.
Junior: We aren't going very well to the start, however, things changed when we got a bit more… experienced at this. I hope that we could do this the right way, considering there are only 2 more patients. We have to perfect this.
"Good afternoon." The patient greeted them as she made her way inside.
"Ugh, we are only missing the amber." Rosalina sighed.
Paratroopa looked around, "Hey… is it just me or is the things on the podiums not as right?"
"Hmm? Oh god, yes, you're correct." Rosalina went over to correct the mistakes. "Thanks, its lifesaving."
Rosalina: We are kind of lacking, I would like to say. We spent quite a lot of time looking for weird objects and the time we spent to find some useless clues is completely gone to a waste. I hope that this gets a bit better right now.
"Amber, where is it?" Paratroopa wondered around aimlessly. "Where is it?" He repeated.
Rosalina sighed again. "I think we shall search somewhere… else?"
"Yeah, nice idea." Paratroopa agreed as the two went to another area.
Paratroopa: Is it just me or is it strange how we both cannot spot the amber wherever we go? Considering the fact that we both know that 'amber' is actually quite a thing that we should both know very well… right?'
Rosalina went over to a pot plant tree. "Paratroopa, if I'm not wrong, isn't amber supposed to be from trees?"
"Yes, they are." Paratroopa answered.
Rosalina eyed the pot plant tree suspiciously. "Do you think they have hidden the amber inside the tree? It is very possible."
"But how do you want to get it?" Paratroopa asked, almost a bit afraid what she wants to do.
Rosalina giggled, "Give me a knife."
"Toadiko, Junior, you two have finished your mission." Monty told them as he came in.
Toadiko rolled her eyes, "We have finished when we are done with the tenth patient."
"Yeah, we did." Junior agreed plainly.
Monty then took out 10 slips of paper, "Now, in order to win 15000 coins, you have to have at least one review that are rated 8 or higher."
"Skip the first five ones, they went out before we even begun." Toadiko giggled nervously.
Monty took out the first five as she requested, "Like you've mentioned, the first five are all at dead '0'. The sixth one is… 5."
"It wasn't the best." Junior recalled the memory of accidentally injecting the wrong place.
Monty took out the next one. "4 on this one."
"They lost a tooth because of us." Toadiko explained the reason behind this failure.
Monty then took all three of the papers and showed them the numbers on them.
All of them are '9'.
"… How?" Junior was flabbergasted at the result.
Monty smiled, "Congratulations! 15000 coins will go into the pot."
Team Pot:
189000 Coins
"Woot! Not far away from the 200000 coin mark!" Junior cheered.
Junior: First of all, I'm very surprised that we even succeeded, but it is a good thing, so I'll take that. Now, we are almost at the 200000 coins mark. If Paratroopa and Rosalina succeed in their task as well, it will be perfect.
Toadiko rolled her eyes, "Monty, may I ask if we are allowed to know the results of the other two?"
"Definitely." Monty replied before opening the door of the clinic, "First of all, please take off your white coats. Their time is about to be up and let us witness their results together."
Toadiko: Ever since coming onto this show, my skills in detecting and absorbing little pieces of information have increased dramatically. It is very obvious that they are creating something, because Monty used the word 'witness'. The only thing I'm wondering is, what in the world are they creating?
"Rosalina, what in the WORLD are you doing?" Junior looked very surprised at the space princess who is using a knife to chop down the branches of the tree.
Rosalina cut down another piece of wood. "Oh, just trying to finish our mission."
Paratroopa rolled his eyes at the dismantled tree. "Rosalina, I don't think anything is here."
"… Oh, that must be why." Rosalina concluded as she dropped the knife. "But does that mean that we have failed?"
"Yes, it does." Monty told them, "As you didn't put the amber on its pedestal in time, your mission has been considered a failure."
Rosalina sighed in defeat. "May I know where the amber was the entire time?"
"Nope, sorry." Monty chuckled.
Rosalina: I was pretty genuinely disappointed in myself. Since I'm sure that Paratroopa and I actually know what a piece of amber looks like. It is so easy, yet we couldn't find it. Could there be a second layer to this mission?
During dinner, the players and Monty was sat in a weirdly shaped table that looks like a star. Everyone was sitting between 2 points of the table, making it look really like a star, Monty was sitting between a pair of the points as well.
"Everyone, let me announce something." Monty declared, "It's not about the missions that happened, or the future missions. It is about the viewer's suspects as the Mole."
Toadiko: I literally flinched when Monty pronounced these words. I have heard that the viewers could vote for a suspect with their own suspicions. But I never thought once that we will be able to hear them. The thing that I'm worried about the most is that when he announces it, what will it do to affect my own gameplay?
Monty took out some cards. "From episode 4 on, the viewers are allowed to choose a Mole candidate of their own. I will announce the results. Episode 4's most suspected player is… Paratroopa, with Rosalina and Daisy tied closely behind."
Paratroopa jumped when he heard that his name was called, as Rosalina simply nodded at the results.
Paratroopa: Episode 4, and most of the viewers suspects me? Wow, I must be fishier than I thought I was. Still, I'm quite surprised that I even beat Rosalina, who is pretty much a perfect Mole candidate for anyone. Daisy… meh, she's executed already.
"In episode 5, we have a three-way tie for first place." Monty informed, "Rosalina, Paratroopa and Toadiko all tied for the most votes."
Toadiko: Wait, what? Someone actually suspects me? That is absolutely ridiculous! I know that I'm not very good on certain challenges, but I don't think I've done that much harm to the pot… am I correct?
Monty took out the final card, "Episode 6, the most suspect player, by a remarkable margin is… Rosalina."
Rosalina let out a small gasp as she realized that she is the current most suspected player.
Rosalina: I know that I do have a mysterious image towards everyone, however, I do not believe that I am the most suspected player by far so far into the game. Please re-tally the votes, it's very possible that the votes has been mis-tallied.
"Does that have anything to do with our next mission?" Junior inquired.
Monty shook his head firmly. "Nope, just informing all of you about the current suspicions. Mr. Not Suspicious." He laughed at the last part.
Junior: Yes, I am being a bit sad that no one even suspects me. I do know that I have my suspicious moments, but how are they able to have a bigger suspicion base than I do? I wish that I'm able to get some suspicions as well, considering how everyone could be suspicious, I could as well.
"Tomorrow," Monty once caught their attention. "We shall have the final mission of the episode, also, the final exemption shall be offered, to everyone."
Paratroopa: I'm surprised that there is still an exemption that will be offered this episode. There wasn't any in the last episode. But if it was offered to everyone, I don't think I'll be the only one that would jump for it. Exemption is a bar of gold to anyone right now.
"Players, welcome to Exemption Construction." Monty smiled as all four players made their way to the middle of Oho Oasis. "Today, you have a choice of either to contribute to the team, or to be selfish and take an exemption."
Junior: I expect all four of us will fight for that exemption. But everyone here has already each used an exemption throughout the game. So I guess whoever takes the exemption if someone takes one… they'll receive a lot of blame and shame. I really wanted it, though.
Monty continued to explain, "There are 5 rafts right behind you. Go onto the normal rafts if you wish to not take the exemption and add money into the pot. If you go onto the green one, however, you will not be able to get any money and you will get an exemption for yourself. If someone takes the exemption, the people, or person, or even no one that is remaining on the island will be left here for a night. If you wish to go onto the normal raft, carry one of the four green blocks in front of you and put it in the box labeled with 'coins', or smash it and get the key inside, which allows you to open the glass box containing the exemption on the green raft. If everyone goes onto the normal rafts, 20000 coins go into the pot. If even one of you smashes your block, nothing will be added into the pot. You only have one chance on making your decision. The order of making decisions are from the least suspicious to the most suspicious, which means Junior, is the first one to go. Make your decision please."
Rosalina: As the most suspected player, I will be going last, and if anyone of them decides to take that exemption, then I shall be spending a night on the beach on this oasis. That is not going to be a pleasant experience for anyone.
Junior picked up a block out of the pile of four blocks and approached the box. He saw the attractive silver key inside, but he also saw the desperate faces of his teammates.
What will he do?
Sorry for not updating in a few days! This will be a double chapter and I will put up the next chapter tonight as well. So we will reveal the finalists tonight! XD Stay tuned and the next chapter is up! XD
