CHAPTER 5

"Now what?" Trina asked the still pacing Tori while Cat eating the breakfast Tori made and long forgotten.

"Okay, no body except us knows, so we need to keep it that way." The brunette said.

"Even from the pack?" Cat asked.

"Even them," She said with determine voice. "We can't risk it."

"Okay, so, now what do we do?" Asked Trina for the second time.

"I'm going to ask Jade out." That earns smile understanding from Cat and scoff from Trina.

"Can you put your personal gain for later?" Trina sighs. "I can't believe what I'm about to say but, we kinda need to keep the witch alive?" Trina said, she and Jade don't have the best relationship in school because well, Trina's diva mode and the actress's gank-y attitude, they really don't get along pretty well, always bumped heads. And more to her not so pleasure, she has to protect the wicked witch of the West, she gave her that nickname without knowing that the actress is really a witch, well, she just gave it that nickname because she acted extra bitchy to her.

The singer stops pacing and look at Trina's direction. "We do, but I can't help it Treen, ever since those beautiful eyes lock in mine, it's like …"

"You can't look away, and your mind would never forget her even when you want to, you drawn to her, and you feel your heart smiling and feel that warm feeling on your chest?" Cat cut Tori off, making the two sisters' jaw hit the floor but the younger one manages to nod in agreement. "That my friend, the sign that you falling in love. You'll get used to it." The redhead said as she finishes the bacon.

"Hold your horses." Trina chimes in. "Are you saying that my own sister are in love with the wicked witch of the West?!" The older Latina put an emphasis on the west part. "Why her though Tor, she's mean, and bitchier to me, not to mention gank-y and don't forget about the part when she never really date anyone, well, she dated Beck but it's more like a brief second but that's it, no one, and I repeat. No ONE is dares to date her, men or women."

"Trina!" Cat said with a warning tone and the older Vega sister just gives her a 'What now Cat?' look. "Stop talking." She said.

"It's okay Cat, Trina just shock, or maybe just jealous because I find my better half." The singer said with sarcastic tone in her voice, she doesn't mad, she just irritated with her sister's comment on the blue eyed beauty, she need to get it pass to her very thick skull that she is indeed falling for the actress, and her sister would have to accept that. "Trina, I already told you that I love her, and I can't help it, so deal with it."

The older Vega sister just huff and cross her arm, she makes note to have the talk with Jade later about this, because when a werewolf falls in love, she/he will keep their loyalty and loves their mate till death. "You know, you need to tell her the whole truth right? Because if she is a witch, she already sense what you are even if she doesn't know what it is, she sense your bond with the nature, and you need to explain to her."

"I will Treen." Tori said in calm and determine voice.

The older sister glances at the clock and see what time is it before she comment. "Mm, aren't you supposed to be at school, learning?"

"Aren't you?" Tori asked back. "I know Cat is doesn't have class for first period. She has that dress thingy …"

"Dress rehearsal," Cat said correcting the Alpha. "Oh, that's reminds me, since I know you pretty well. You won't to go to school today. So you have to drive me to school and wait until the rehearsal is done."

"No…" The alpha whines, dragging the O.

"Yesss and you get to see and admire Jade all you want." Cat said as she drag Tori's hand and get them to prepare.

"Have fun." All Trina said before she gets up and put the TV into the rightful place again before checking it if it's still working.

They ended up going to Hollywood Art together, the three of them. Tori may or may not use her power as alpha to order her sister; it's funny to look at the older Vega's face expression when the little sister orders her around just for fun. The champ doesn't like to use her power on her pack for fun, although when she needed to punish them she can be very stern, but for her sister, she makes an exception.

Tori is currently waiting on the back row of the seat by the stage with a single purple rose on her hand, watching the pale beauty on action, although she's having trouble to slow down her heart rate. She's nervous. She can hear the actors and actress saying their lines with western accent, apparently the story is about cowboys and cowgirls stranded in a deserted place and they need to stay alive or something like that.

Cat is up now, saying her lines with Jade who looks stunning in that cowgirl suit that shows her belly button, so sexy and she imagine how she would gladly kiss it slowly going lower, or up, making her scream her name. Stop it Tori. She scolded herself as she feels someone sit beside her; she turns her head to the side and sees it's the beautiful boy with the fluffy hair.

"Hey, you're Tori right?" He said offering his hand which cover with black leather glove, little odd but Tori take it and shake it politely.

"Yea, you're one of Cat's friends …" She trail off.

"Beck" He said offering some help with his name, he seems to observing Tori for little while, like she would be burst into flame or something. The young alpha takes a sniff of the air and she can smell it, it faint but she definitely smells it. Vervain. She thought, she automatically sat straight with alert, turning her head side to side trying to locate where the smell come from.

She sniffs the air one more time and she looks to the person beside her, the smell coming from him. Odd, why human would ... Unless… She trail off her train of thought as she grab glove cover hand belongs to Beck and sniff it, and she can smell it there, he have vervain cover glove, for making sure that the glove is indeed lace with something that intoxicating for vampires, she lick it, taste it with her tongue.

"Wh-what are you doing?" Back ask the brunette as he takes his hand back from her grip, he feels pretty uncomfortable with the alpha's action. He was just trying to make sure that Tori is not one of those 'things' that kill people in cold blooded, live by drying blood from the innocent, and he was convince once she took his hand and shook it.

"It's kind of minty, little bit sour... Vervain," She said looking into the Canadian boy's face. "I taste it once when my mother make me coffee and put it there, I hate the taste, she did it to test my sense of taste." The boy is little shock at how bluntly the brunette's description at the taste of his glove is and to top it all off, she knows what it is, he didn't know if a person can possibly taste vervain, or any person in that mater but this girl can, that make him even more curious about Tori. She's not, dare he say it, a vampire but she's not a normal human either. "Why you have glove lace with it, to keep the vampires away?" She teases Beck and also tests him, if he knows about the vampires and he probably knows about her kind too and he's probably a treat for her pack, or Jade.

Jade.

The thought of the pale beauty make her shiver, she's concern if somebody already know and they send this boy to kill the actress. No, they are friend, he wouldn't. And yet here she is thinking about the possibilities, but she would make sure that Jade's secret is safe and no one will know except for the three member of the pack. She, Cat and Trina, in the meantime, she will collect everything she can from the actor besides her.

Tell me what you know, boy.

"What, vampires, you kidding, right?" He said covering what he knew, he won't tell Tori until he knows what she is and that she's not a treat. "Must have come with the glove I think." He said lying through his teeth; he's an actor after all, a very damn good one. "How'd you …" His question never leave his mouth completely because the young alpha already sits up and go toward the backstage area, the scene is over and the actors are going to change and done for the day, in fact, this are their last rehearsal before the big opening night that will be held tomorrow night at the same place.

"Tori, you stay 'till the end." Cat gives her one tight hug that looks like it can crush her but the champ just hug her back like she doesn't feel a thing. "Did I do well?" She ask after pull out, Jade is already behind the redheaded actress, giving the young alpha a smile.

"Of course I stayed; I want to see you perform. And you did great little pup." Tori said as she pat the petite girl on her head causing the redheaded actress to close her eyes, smile and sigh.

"Okay, I'm going to change and leave you two to chat." Cat said waving between Jade and Tori before she leave though, she peck the alpha's cheek then she leave.

"Are you sure you two aren't a couple?" Jade said stepping closer to the champ.

"No, we're very close and she's more like my sister than a lover, trust me." She said step forward even closer to the blue-green eyed beauty, she reach to her back where she hide the flower. "You look stunning, Jade, as always." She looks at the raven haired girl who seems to struggle to breathe by the alpha's gaze on her and Tori slowly giving the pale beauty the flower and the actress take it gracefully. "Would you like to go out on a date with me?"

Jade feels that familiar feeling she felt the night before - at the party. She feels closer and safe and she can trust the brunette, but this time the feeling seems to be magnified, as she brave herself to touch Tori's arm and something awaken inside of her, rush to the surface and every nerve on her body seems to be on fire and it's like there's this string that keep pulling her closer to Tori, suddenly she wanted to kiss the alpha so badly, craving her touch on her body, she never feel something so strong like this before and she can't understand how just by single gaze by Tori can drive her crazy.

And she did it. The raven haired girl lean in and kiss the alpha, capturing her lips in sweet kiss, Tori little bit surprise by Jade's action but she quickly return the kiss, resting her hands on the pale beauty's waist and Jade have her arms on the brunette shoulders, pull her closer as she deepen the kiss. They pull apart when they needed to breathe the air, both panting and smiling as they rest their foreheads together.

"Is that a yes?" Tori asked and Jade gave her one more kiss before nodding.

Sorry for the wait, I give more attention to my 'Two Pieces' more and just got the time and the spirit to write this one down. :)
