Hey there! This chapter will probably not be liked. After seeing the reactions of previous chapters, this one will most likely upset people. But this is where the story began.

Hah, this was the first chapter I wrote! I had this in mind, then based the story around it. Now, obviously I had to make adjustments, there are aspects to the story I came up with as I was writing the other chapters, but this one chapter is so short because I want to leave it as is, with as little additions as possible. Both for the sake of preserving the first chapter and in order to keep it impactful.

Peach looked over to Samus. Samus could see the immense fear coming from her friend, and was sure she was showing the same thing. Zelda began to tear up again, knowing that soon they would all be gone.

"Samus…" The Pink Princess said, tears welling up in her eyes. Samus looked up angrily, not knowing where Tabuu might be but just being upset and trying to look for him, to the point of materializing her Power Suit. However, she immediately threw off her helmet so he would still be able to see her face.

"You're doing this on purpose aren't you!?" Samus yelled. This isn't happening again.

"The reasoning behind such circumstances are of no matter." Tabuu's hauntingly robotic voice actually responded.

"IT MATTERS TO ME!" Samus screamed. She swung her arm cannon at one of the transporters. The glass cracked slightly, but still managed to stay intact.

"Damn it Samus, calm down!" Ike yelled, running in front of her and putting his hands on her shoulders. Samus tried to shake him off, but Pit ran over to help Ike calm her down.

"This isn't your fault! You know that! You even said it!" Ike said, trying to calm the struggling warrior. "You're still quick to blame yourself, but now you know you can let that go!"

"He's right Samus!" Peach said.

"This isn't an end, alright?" Pit told her. Samus slowly stopped resisting and looked at Pit, tears in her eyes. "This isn't going to end like Adam or your parents or that baby alien. Even if you win, Peach isn't going to be gone forever."

Samus slowly took Ike's hand off of her shoulders. She took a deep breath, wiping her eyes before the tears fell to the floor. "I know. You're right."

"It's unfortunate. But we knew it was a possibility, didn't we?" Peach asked Samus with a sad smile, trying to lift her friend's spirits.

Samus nodded with a small smile, deciding she would try to do the same for Peach. She closed her eyes and took another deep breath. "Yeah."

Samus and Peach both looked at the transporters, then at each other.

Peach gave a small smile. "Ready?"

Samus put her helmet on. "Ready."

The two appeared on Final Destination, looking at each other from opposite ends of the platform. Neither wanted to make the first move, but both were worried that being inactive for too long would upset Tabuu and make a Bob-omb appear. Samus watched as the space around the platform made her feel as if she was going through space. Seeing stars, galaxies, and everything else it had to offer.

But she was just putting off the inevitable. She faced Peach and began charging up her beam. Peach took the hint and began running towards her opponent. She jumped into the air as Samus shot the slight charge she had built up. Peach floated over her head, then as she fell to the platform, threw her hip at Samus. It had explosive results as Peach's magic activated. Samus was sent to the middle of the platform.

Samus got to her feet, locked onto Peach, and fired a missile. As it sailed for its target, Samus ran behind it. As the two approached the Princess, Samus jumped up over her missile. Peach jumped to avoid the explosive, but Samus met her to kick her down to the ground.

Peach landed forcefully, but managed to do so on her feet. She ran to the middle of the stage in order to avoid Samus, but the Galactic bounty hunter charged at her and lowered her shoulder. Peach flew back, but quickly caught her footing. Samus looked around for a Smash Ball hoping that she could finish this quicker.

Peach used her magic on the ground by her feet and pulled up a turnip. She threw it at Samus, but it did little to her in the Power Suit. Peach pulled up another one and threw it. On the third attempt, Peach pulled up a Poke ball. She was stunned to see it, since ordinary weapons couldn't appear with Tabuu's rules. She then remembered that her magic conjured it up, it wasn't the match that brought it out.

Quickly going back to the fight, she threw the ball at Samus. It wasn't thrown very fast, however, letting Samus dodge. As she contorted her body, her left arm swung in the air, hitting the Poke ball. The ball went right up into the air, then came down and landed next to Samus.

The two women looked at the Poke ball and remembered what Red said.

In these brawls, the last person to make contact becomes the owner of the Pokemon.

The two watched as the ball opened and released one of the most legendary Pokemon, Ho-oh. They watched as it flew up out of the way, and moved itself over Peach.

No! That wasn't my Pokemon! That should've been hers! Samus thought, as she watched in terror.

Peach closed her eyes, knowing the match was done.

This isn't fair! This is Tabuu's fault! DAMN IT!

Ho-oh let out a cry.

This isn't happening! I can't let this happen!

The Rainbow Pokemon began building the flames of Sacred Fire in its mouth. Samus whipped off her helmet and threw it on the ground.

"STOOOOOOP!"

She screamed, her lungs almost giving out. Samus fell to her knees, tears streaming down her face.
