Please don't get mad at me! IM SO SORRY!

I've had so much going on since I last posted! Heck, I even graduated High school in that time. And for some reason, I just could not figure out how to finish this Chapter. Instead of being able to do this, I somehow manage to turn my attention to painting…. But now I'm home all day ( when you have no money for college, it's kind of hard to go and actually pay.) SO I'll try to think up things… HOPEFULLY!

And if I don't get something written and uploaded on to the story in at least two week time, I give you every right to scream at me!

-At a school nearby-

Emiko walked down the hallway quietly. Her head was down with tears in her eyes. She had just lost her friend Tsubaki to the dead. She looked down at the blood cover axe and felt alone. Nobody seemed to be around besides the dead. They walked into walls or lockers or just limped around waiting. She stopped and looked around the corner. It was clear. Looking down at her clothes, she sighed and stared at her blood covered brown skirt. She turned the corner quickly and ran down the hall.

Behind her, a group of three teens ran after her. She turned to the sound of running behind her. Taking one look at them, a shiver ran down her spine and she started running faster. One of the teen, speed up and grabbed her arm. He then covered her mouth and pulled Emiko into an empty classroom.

"Hello, Freak" The guy said with a smirk, after taking his hand off Emiko's mouth

Emiko went wide eye and walk back a bit. Behind her, was an other guy who quickly wrapped this arm around her.

The third guy came up to her and pulled the axe out of her hands. The first guy punched her stomach right after, causing her to bend forward in pain.

"Of course you would stay alive this long, freak. But not with us here." he smacked her cheek. The guy behind her let her go and she dropped to her knees. The two guys joined in and started kicking her. The third guy laughed loudly at how much pain Emiko was in.

"Freak"

"Scream you freak. Then you can get eaten like everyone. That's what you deserve."

In the corner of the room stood a girl. She was wearing a pair of very revealing short shorts and a blue jean jacket. She saw what was happening and quickly knocked out the guy laughing with a chair. She went behind the tallest one and did the same. She pulled the last guy off of the beaten girl and threw him out the room. He hit the locker and the dead nearby heard.

Walking back into the room, the girl held her hand out to Emiko. Emiko grabbed the girl's hand and got up

"Thank you. My name is Emiko" she said in a timid voice.

"No problem. Name's Denise" the girl said to Emiko. Emiko smiled at Denise. Denise walked over to the axe and picked it up with her right arm. Her left arm was bent in a strange way. Emiko noticed that it was covered by the sleeve and the sleeve was bloody. Denise walked back to Emiko and said, "lets get out of here" while handing back the axe

The two girls walked to the door and looked out. through the door window. The guy that had been thrown out was gone. But on the floor you could see fresh blood and pieces of a body. Emiko gagged silently and looked at Denise.

Denise did not really say much, just walked right out the door and around the corner. Running to catch up, Emiko held her axe ready for any attack of the dead. They made their way down the stairs quickly.

Halfway down the last few steps a scream was heard from the top of the stairs. Emiko grabbed Denise's right arm and pulled her into a janitor's closet . Closing the door partially, Emiko watched the dead through the space, as they make their way up the stairs. Denise walked back a bit. Accidentally, she knocked down a can from the shelf right next to her. It fell with a clank to the ground, rolling do Emiko's feet. One of the dead turned in the direction of the closet and Emiko tensed up. An other scream was heard and the dead turned back to the stairs, slowly going up.

After the final of the dead limped their way up the stairs, the girls opened the door and ran for it down the hall. Emiko reached the outside door first and looked around. When she realized the coast was clear, she held the door open for Denise. They stopped at the top step and looked down at the sea of bodies in between the way of the school gate. Emiko took off running straight through the dead. They reached for her with blood covered hands but she swung her axe, cutting off their arms. Denise followed behind quickly, not really caring if the dead got to her. She coughed and watched her blood hit the floor.

They got to the gate and Emiko quickly climbed the gates. She jumped down on the other side and turned. She look at Denise and said, "Come on. You have to climb or else you will be killed." Denise looked at Emiko with a sad smile and shook her head. She coughed a bit and covered her mouth so Emiko could not see the blood. Then she lifted her left sleeve to show off a huge bite. "I was bitten Emiko. You have to go. Ill just slow you down." Emiko shook her head and grabbed her arm through the gate. " you will not get eaten by my account." She said slowly trying to pull her up. Both girls quickly noticed the sound of a vehicle and looked up.

The bus was coming down the street. Denise looked at Emiko and shook her arm away, "Go with them, they seem to have a plan. I'm glad I met you, Emiko. I manage to do something good for once" She coughed up blood and fell to the ground. Emiko shook her head and felt soft tears run down her cheeks. " Go Emiko" Denise said faintly to the crying girl. Raising her weapon, she turned to look at the sky and stabbing her own head. Emiko bent over and vomited on the ground from what she just saw happen. After a few minutes, she got back up and turned with a determined look and walked to the middle of the street.

-On The Bus-

Nina looked around at her tired group. She looked up front at the girl who was driving. She got up and walked over to her, for the first time noticing what the girl was wearing. She was dressed in black cargo pants, a white camisole covered in dry blood, black combat boots, and had a black jacket hanged on the back of the seat. "We will need to stop soon. Its getting too late for us to be out here in the dark. I know of a shrine close by, we can go there and rest." Nina said as she looked back at her group.

"Sure thing boss." Kai said not turning her glance from the road. Nina shook her head and smiled. " You don't have to call me boss, my name is Nina."

Kai looked at Nina and gave her a cocky smile. " Kai"

Nina smiles at Kai and turns to look out the bus window. " If you need a break, I'll take over."

Kai looked at Nina and nodded, stopping the bus at the side of the street. She got up and walked to the back of the bus. A few minutes, they were on the road again with Nina driving and Kai fast asleep just like the majority of the others who were on the bus. The sky was growing dark as night approached . The streets seemed to be empty and somewhat calm. Once in a while, there would be a few of the dead wondering around.

Coming up to the right was a Private school. Nina looked at it and sighed. They had barely made it out their own school, it must have been a mess in this one too. Phil, who was sitting in the first seat, spoke to Nina. " Ni, you looked worried. What's a matter?' Nina looked at the road and responded softly. " We barely made it out of our school. If our school was that bad, then this one must be too. I just hope someone made it."

She turned the corner and noticed someone walked out to the road. Slamming the breaks quickly the bus came to a sharp stop. A whole bunch of complaints followed as everyone was hastily awoken and thrown around.

"Sorry guys." Nina said as she stood up and watched the person outside.

Emiko walked over to the door and looked in to the girl standing next to the driver seat. The girl was wearing a purple blouse cover in blood. Her skirt and shoes were white, which were also covered in blood. She grabbed the door handle and opened it. Walking out, the girl looked Emiko over.

Behind the girl, walked up an other girl who was wearing a white shirt and black pants. She stared at the girl who was in front of Emiko before looking around for any undead. Emiko walked up to the girl that got off and smiled.

Liana, who had gone forward to see why Nina had stopped and gotten off, noticed that there was another girl besides Nina. She looked at the back at the rest of the group and saw them all looking out the windows with their weapons ready. She quickly open the door and called to the girl and Nina " Hurry, They are coming."

Nina grabbed Emiko by the arm and quickly climb on the bus. She sat down and started driving again, away from the school quickly. A few of the dead at the front got hit by the bus and the window was covered in blood. Nina pressed a button and the window cleaners turned on.

"Thank you" Emiko said to the girl in a bow.

" Don't mention it. My name is Nina, what is yours?" The girl asked quickly flashing a smile at her.

"Emiko Nagasaki." she said quietly.

" Nice to meet you!"

Emiko turned around to get a seat and then saw the group in total. The girl from before walked up to her.

"I'm Liana" she said with a huge smile.

A girl with Black and white stripped shirt with long black sleeves, black cargo pants with a chain on them and black converse, walked up behind Liana.

"Alex" She said before sitting in the front seat near the door. She pointed behind her and spoke again

" Back there are the rest of the crew. That is Phil." She said as she pointed to a guy with curly brown hair across the aisle.

Nina looked at the group through the mirror. "Guys just sit down,"

Emiko took a seat next to Alex, not really paying attention to anybody. Her thoughts were on her two friends that died in the school.

Nina pulled the bus over and stood up. " Can anyone take over, I'm feeling a bit tired." Nina asked.

Hunter looked at her and stood up, then walked to the driver seat. The bus started up again and it was quiet. Nina sat down in one of the open seats and turned to watch everyone. She looked over at Emiko and saw her crying softly. She reach over the seat to the crying girl and put her hand on Emiko's shoulder. Emiko her face and looked at Nina. "Hey its okay, we will get though this all." Nina said as she looked down with a small smile.

Mina was sitting in the back seat looking out the window. Next to her was a small medical kit she had manage to find in the nurse's office. She watched them drive by the dead. Some where missing parts of their bodies. Some would be kneeling on the ground eating out one of their victims. As they went along, she realized that more and more bodies were laying on the ground instead of walking around.

Nina looked out the window and called out to Hunter. " Hunter go around the back of that building and pull up at the wooden door." Hunter looked at her through the mirror with a questioning look. Nina just smiled.

Nina turned to everyone and smiled. "GUYS!" she shouted. Everyone looked away from what they were doing and turned to face her. " Who's ready to take a break from the bus?" she asked in a very happy energetic mood. A smile broke out on everyone's face and they started to get up. Nina held out her hand and stopped them all. "You got to wait. I need to see if my friend is in." She said as she skipped off the bus. Everyone just stared at her and sighed.

-Inside the Shrine-

Kana was cleaning off her katana. She had just gotten back into the shrine after decapitating a bunch of the dead that were surrounding the property. Her blonde hair was being blown by the wind, toward her face and she keep pushing it back. She put her katana in its shield and put it at its place on the wall. Walking toward the bath house behind the shrine, she heard a noise at the door and froze. She turned to face the door and saw a school bus sitting there. As she watched closely, the door opened and a girl with brown hair skipped out of the bus, happily making her way to the door.

Kana took off running towards the door with wide purple eyes. She got to the door right as Nina skipped to a stop. Opening the door, Kana watched as the small brown haired girl run towards her.

"KANA!" Nina said happily as she saw her friend open the door. She ran up and hugged her hard. She then let go and turned to the bus. Waving a hand, a bunch of teens stepped off the bus and walked toward the shrine entrance.

"Kana, can we stay here? We have been driving for hours and need a place to stay for the night. It wont be much of a trouble." Nina asked her as she put on a puppy dog face. With wide brown eyes she looked up to her, silently begging.

Kana sighed and turn back towards the bath house, leaving the entrance open. Nina smiled and skipped back to her group. With a smile, she spoke to them. "Kana said we can stay the night. Try not to make a mess or anything." She lead them forward into the shrine and closed the entrance door.

Inside the shrine property, everyone saw a beautiful well taken care of place. Nina had a very happy grin on her face. " Lets just go into the bath houses and take a break for now. After we meet up at the main building" Nina said as she pointed everything out. She turned to Kana who was making her way over to the bath house. She skipped off after her in delight at the idea of a bath. The group looked at her and just shook their heads before following her.

Not the best way to end the chapter, but at least it's finally finished!
