I don't own Twilight.

I'm sorry my posting has been so infrequent. I wish I could tell you it was going to get better now but I'm just not sure.

"Come on Bella, you can do it! Just three more miles and then you can slow down."

"I hate you Heidi." I groan as I continue to run at a brutal pace. She just grins at me from beside the treadmill.

"I love you too." Heidi is the personal trainer who was charged at making my right leg strong again after the external fixation devices came off it. Basically, she's put up with my whiny ass since November.

By the time I'm done the three miles my leg is killing me. Over the last six weeks my leg has definitely gotten stronger but it hurts when I do too much with it.

"Are we done for the day?" I'm embarrassed at the fact that I'm pretty much breathless but Heidi doesn't seem to care.

"Yes, we are. Now since I'm not seeing you for the next week, remember to do your stretches and basic exercises."

"I will. Merry Christmas Heidi."

Angela's house was filled with holiday music and the delicious scent of Christmas baking when I arrived. Following the sound Eli's laughter I found the two of them in the kitchen decorating gingerbread people.

"Lookie Mommy, dat one is you and dat one is daddy." Gingerbread Jacob looked pretty uniform in a white shirt and black pants but Gingerbread Bella confused me. All along her arms and legs there were squiggles of black icing.

"What are the squiggles supposed to be?" I whispered in Angela's ear while Eli busied himself with putting the finishing touches on gingerbread Superman.

"They're your tattoos, it was Eli's idea to add them." She whispered back, grinning ear-to-ear.

"Well now that you've told me that I can't eat it. It's a work of art." Eli who has finished his Superman cookie catches onto the end of the conversation and sends me a look.

"It's a cookie Mom, not art."

We leave the cookies out on Angela's counter so the icing can dry and head to her living room where a basic tree is set up. I always let Ang have from Dec. 21st to Dec. 29th off so there actually isn't a reason for her to have a tree up but Eli insisted. That way he had argued, Angela wouldn't lose her gifts to us before she left for Washington.

"Did you guys have a good time shopping today?" Eli nodded enthusiastically.

"Yes! I found the most perfectest gifts fo' Dad." I looked to Angela for an explanation but she just pretended to zip her lips.

"I'm not telling."

We chatted a bit longer before putting the cookies in containers so they could be carried, along with Eli's gifts, to the main house.

Inside the main house I put the cookies down on the kitchen island before heading into the living room.

"Look Eli, there are even more presents under the tree." That's all I had to say for my son to come running into the living room.

"From who? From who?"

"Hmmmm, well this gift says 'to: Eli, Love:…' and then there's a word I don't know. Do you know what d-a-d spells Superman?" I smiled as Eli concentrated hard into space, trying to figure out the word.

"D-a-d? That spells daa-d." He sounded out the word slowly before realizing what he said.

"Dad? Dad! Mommy, those are from Dad!" He shrieked at me, hugging my legs tightly in the spur of the moment before running down the hall.

"Eli where are you going you monkey?"

"To see Dad!" He yelled while continuing to run down the hall, most likely to the master bedroom.

Jacob had most likely arrived while I was with Heidi. A part of me was disappointed that he hadn't gone straight to see me but it was probably for the best. There's no way I would've finished my endurance training if I would've known he was in the house.

I reach the master bedroom in time to hear giggles erupt from my son who is being thrown in the air by the man he calls "Dad".

"I'll ask you one more time. Did you miss me Eli?"

While the two play around I take the time to admire Jake. Sure it's only been a month since I've last seen him in person but he does look different. My observant eye picked up on the fact that he was thinner around the face and had lost some muscle definition. I know he had caught a virus on the last leg of his tour but still, this was something I was going to have to ask him about later. Right now was a time for us to catch up and talk about the lighter things in life.

"So Ms. Swan, have you been naughty or nice this year?" It is Christmas Eve, Eli is sound asleep in his room and 'Santa' has placed all the gifts under the tree.

"I don't know. What do I get if I've been naughty?" I grinned at Jacob who was took his t-shirt off, leaving him clad only in dark wash jeans and a Santa hat.

"Well Ms. Swan, naughty girls get punished." Jacob quickly closes any space between us, moving one of his arms around my waist as he moves to kiss me.

This kiss is not gentle but rather filled with passion. I fight with Jacob for dominance until his wandering hands distract me, causing me to moan into his mouth.

We break apart temporarily. Jacob makes quick work of removing my clothing before taking off his pants to reveal his already large erection.

"Mmm Santa, is this my gift?" It's his turn to moan as I run my hand slowly up the shaft of his cock while lowering myself to my knees. I capture him bit by bit with my mouth, moving at a leisurely pace until Jake grabs a hold of my head so he can quicken my pace.

"Fuck Bella!" Jacob erupts in my mouth, taking a minute to regain his composure before looking down at me.

"Bed now. I insist on returning the favour." I make it to the bed faster than usual causing Jake to grin. He pushes me gently into a lying down position before beginning to kiss and nibble his way up my legs. By the time he reaches my mid-thigh I am panting. A hot mess of raw emotion, it takes all my strength to not push his head between my legs.

"I wonder if you taste as sweet as I remember Bella." He asks before casually placing his tongue inside my folds.

"Hmm. I think you taste sweeter than before." His hot breath on my most sensitive part caused me to squirm.

"Please Jake." That is all it takes for him to plunge his tongue into my folds, fucking me with his fingers while he licks and sucks my clit. I bite down on a pillow as wave after wave of pleasure comes over me.

"Fuck you look so hot when you cum." Jacob murmurs as he adjusts his position so he's hovering over me. Our lips connect as his length enters me and in the next few moments everything feels right.

"Merry Christmas my sweet girl." Jake tells me once everything is done. Wrapping his arms around me, he pulls me into his side before closing his eyes.

"Merry Christmas Jay."

"Mommy, Daddy, Santa Claus came and he gived me lots and lots of pwesents." It is seven when Eli wakes the two of us up by jumping on our bed.

"Merry Christmas Superman." He wraps his little arms around me and squeezes tight before moving onto Jake who isn't quite awake yet.

"Mewwy Christmas Daddy." Eli's hug seems to be enough to fully wake up the sleepy giant who blinks a couple of times before smiling down at the child in his arms.

"Merry Christmas Eli."

"Can we open the pwesents now?" I nod my head.

"Sure thing Superman, lead the way." It is only when I'm halfway through the doorway that I realise Jacob is not following behind me.

"Earth-to-Jacob, you coming?"

"I'll be there in a sec. I just need to take my cold meds." He tells me, finally getting out of bed.

"Okay but hurry. I can't hold off the Tasmanian devil forever."

In the living room Eli has already chosen which gift he wants to open first, a box twice his size that took me forever to wrap. He stared at it impatiently, his little hands shaking with excitement. Jake came into the room two minutes later but to Eli it must've seemed like he took a year.

"Can I open it now Mama?" I nodded my head and soon wrapping paper was flying through the air.

Eli unwrapped his gifts at a speed I had never seen before, taking a moment to marvel at whatever was in front of him before moving onto the next present. Once he was done, and surrounded by an assortment of colored paper, he turned towards Jacob and me.

"Now it's Daddy's turn." He squealed, pointing to a large box that was labelled "To Daddy".
"But be careful, Angela says it's fwagile." Jacob and I shared a look before he slowly started to unwrap the box.

When Jake had finally unwrapped the box enough to open it, the contents brought tears to his eyes.

"Thank-you Eli, this is the best gift I have ever gotten." He pulled Eli into his arms as he said that, hugging him tightly.

The box was full of an assortment of objects: pens, mugs, hats, pins, shirts, that all had "World's Best Dad" printed on them. And as I looked at everything in the box tears came to my eyes too as I made a realization. A year ago I would've never imagined that Eli would be calling my best friend "Daddy", I hadn't even thought that he'd have a father-figure in his life. But here we are, a complete family that loves each-other very much. We may not be a conventional family but that's not what matters. It's the love that matters.
