Sophie sat with her back bent and her face a couple of centimeters over her homework. She was writing as fast as she could and had to stop and lean back and rub her sore hand to avoid getting cramp. She had been thinking about what she'd make Jamie do, and had a couple of suggestions in her mind. She decided to take a small brake in her homework, and lay an empty piece of paper in front of her and started scribbling down her thoughts.

1. Make Jamie clean her room

2. Force him to call her master for the rest of the week and make him get stuff for her

3. Make Jamie wear makeup

4. Use Jamie as a pillow for a day

Sophie chewed quietly on her pen and then tried to imagine the four choices.

Number 1, it was too boring. This was maybe the only opportunity to make Jamie do stuff for her.

Number 2, it was pretty good, actually. Though, it was also usual, Sophie wanted to make Jamie do something he'd never done

Number 3, it was funny. Sophie almost started laughing when she imagined Jamie in pink lipstick and mascara. It was still on the list.

Number 4 was out from the beginning. Sophie wanted to joke with her brother, not squash him. So the results were this:

(1. Make Jamie clean her room)

(2. Force him to call her master for the rest of the week and make him get stuff for her)

3. Make Jamie wear makeup

(4. Use Jamie as a pillow for a day)

Sophie yawned; making her famous cat sounds and stretched. She nodded satisfied, and then finished her homework fast. Just as she'd written her last words, she flew up, and stormed out the door. When she was about to call Jamie, she stopped herself, eyes widened. She'd just had an idea that Jamie would do for her, and it was genius, in Sophie's opinion.

She ran down the stairs and entered the kitchen to find Jamie still sitting in his chair and writing doing his own homework. He looked up at Sophie and his face turned to a frown when he saw the mischievous grin on her face.

"Okay, what did you come up with?" He asked and looked a bit worried. Sophie inhaled dramatically and then walked into the room and sat down at the opposite side of the table. Jamie put his pen down and braced himself for the information.

"I want you and me to go out and... Go sledding!"

Jamie's face turned into a questioning grimace. "Sorry, what?"

"You heard me."

"That's it? You just want to go sledding with me?" Jamie asked slowly, as if trying to see if Sophie was being serious.

"You've been so boring lately, yesterday when you showed me the tooth was the first time in weeks that you've talked to me!" Sophie said, taping with her fingers on the table nervously.

"Yeah, sorry about that by the way," Jamie murmured, looking down on his homework, looking ashamed.

"It's nothing." Sophie made a gesture in the air as if she was trying to wag away a fly, "but you better be ready to go outside in ten minutes, or I'll go without you!"

Jamie glanced up, and smiled happily. He flew up, and ran up the stairs, the sound of his door slamming shut echoing through the house.

Ten minutes later, Sophie was standing on the porch outside the house. The cold air stung her nose and the wind whispered thought the dead trees. Sophie had put on her blue winter jacket and dark blue jeans. Her brown shoes which she and her mother had bought were warm against her always cold feet, and a brown scarf lay around her neck. The house door opened and out Jamie came. He sucked in a deep breath and exhaled happily.

"It was a long time since I was outside for fun!" He said and his eyes sparkled like the snow in the sunlight. Sophie chuckled and started walking out on their small garden. The snow lay thick on the ground and reached her knees. She made her way towards the shed where she knew her and Jamie's sleigh was. She was about halfway there, when a snowball hit her right on her shoulder, and she stumbled forward. She turned around and saw Jamie looking as surprised as she felt her. Then she giggled and filled her hand with snow and started forming a snowball.

"Woah!" Jamie said, holding his arms up defensively. "It wasn't me!"

Sophie rolled her eyes. "Yeah, right," she said and then threw her deformed snowball at Jamie. It hit him straight on his forehead with such force that he fell backwards. Sophie burst out laughing and didn't notice Jamie making a snowball from where he was lying until it was too late. He threw it and it hit her in her stomach. They continued the war for minutes, until they exhausted sat down in the snow.

"Ok... Let's just say that I won," Sophie said, panting.

"No way! I won by far; you missed me like all the time!" Jamie protested.

"No I didn't."

"Yes, you did!"

"Did not!"

"Did too!"

Sophie flew with her arms. "Fine! You won! But next time, you'll see how good I really am!"

Jamie rolled his eyes and stood up.

"Come on, let's go sledding!" He said laughing and went to open the door to the shed. Sophie helped Jamie carry out the sleigh and dragged it enter her, to a slope where most of her and Jamie's neighbors goes skiing or sledding. Sophie pushed the sleigh so that it was pointed down the slope. She then sat down and motioned Jamie to sit down in front of her.

"Are you ready?" She asked.

Jamie took a deep breath and nodded with a huge grin on his face. "Yep, I'm ready."

"Ok, on the count of three," Sophie began counting. "One, two..." And just as she had said two, she let go of the ground with her shoes, and they flew down in an amazing speed. Jamie squealed and took ahold of Sophie's legs, lifting them so that they wouldn't loose speed. Sophie shouted in delight and Jamie laughed, leaning to the sides to avoid hitting a tree. Suddenly, a snow bump was visible in front of them, and they flew up in the air. Sophie felt the funny sensation of falling, until she hit the ground and rolled a few times, until she stopped. Her head was spinning, and her breath had been knocked out, so she stayed down a few moments, and then looked up. She saw Jamie still sitting on the sleigh sliding slower, but still fast towards a tree. He didn't have time to avoid it, and crashed into it with a grunt. Sophie stood up and limped with an arm around her stomach towards her little brother who lay still on the ground.

"Jamie?" She called, worry in her voice. Jamie twitched and rolled onto his back, a stupid grin on his face.

"That was awesome! Let's do it again!"

Sophie puffed revealed out, smiling at him. "I think it's enough sledding for today." She said and walked up to him. Jamie sat up, and when he saw her, his face became worried.

"Sophie, what have you done?" He asked.

"What?"

"You're bleeding!"

Sophie touched her forehead just above her eye where it hurt the most, and dragged her hand back to look at it. Her finger was red with her blood where a cut had been made when she had been thrown of the sleigh.

"Ouch."she murmured, "maybe we should go home."

Jamie nodded and took the rope witch was tied to the sleigh and started dragging it up the slope. It took an awful lot of time to get home with the heavy sleigh being dragged or pushed up the steep hill. When they were home, Sophie said that Jamie could go inside, while she could put the sleigh back inside the shed. When she was back at the porch, it started snowing peacefully. She stopped and just looked up to the sky, blinking as snowflakes got stuck on her eyelashes. Just as she was about to walk inside, she saw a blue figure standing in a tree regarding her, but only a few heartbeats later, it was gone. Sophie starred at the tree, and then shook her head, thinking that she had to be hallucinating.

What she didn't know was that a boy with white hair was looking at her from her roof while she walked inside, and then flew off, leaving a swirl of snow after him.
