Here we go! Hehe...I suck. It has been another 5 months since I updated... Sorry about that:/ I think I'm just gonna stop writing the intro of the story, it is actually a waste of time. I had a problem writing it, it was hard to make it good and understandable. Hope you like it, enjoy!
The first thing that went through Sophie's mind when she woke up was "it's cold." Her eyes fluttered open and she shivered as her hands groggily rubbed her eyes. She slowly sat up, her back hurting from the way she had laid and she stretched, making her bones creak. She looked to her left and saw that the window was completely open, obviously the reason why she had woken up.
Yawning, she pushed her sheets of her and stood up, muttering angrily. She hugged herself, lips quivering as she made her way to the window, but just as she was going to shut it, something caught her attention. The boy with white hair was balancing on a roof on the other side of her garden, laughing happily as he slipped, almost falling down to the ground.
Sophie froze in dead tracks and put her hands on the edge of her window, and leaned out to take a closer look on him. The boy took suddenly a giant leap off the house, made a front flip, and landed on a wire witch hung between the houses. The boy jumped onto the roof of her house and then disappeared behind her window. Sophie leaned out even more, and tried to glance around the corner, but she couldn't hold her balance, so she leaned back, not wanting to fall down and break her neck. Her window was built on top of the roof, a small doghouse-looking-building around it, so there were some space to be able to walk past the window. So when she was just about to close the window and wake her mom to tell her that she though she was going insane, the boy walked past her window, as if he was walking down the street.
"What the hell!" Sophie yelled startled and took a step back. The boy seemed just as surprised as Sophie was, and lost his balance totally, and fell down out of sight.
Sophie put her hand over her mouth. Not only had she seen a horse made of sand, now she had killed a boy also! She hurriedly walked up to the window again and leaned over the windowsill.
"Jesus, are you all-" she started, but then stopped. She didn't see anyone lying on the ground below her. Confused, she glanced around, but no one was in sight. Then she heard a small mumble over her, and she snapped her head around. Lying over her window was the white haired boy with his face only a couple of centimeters from hers.
Sophie squealed surprised and then quickly ran back into her room, backing away from the window. She didn't see where she was walking so she tripped on her bag which lay on the floor an fell back onto her bed. The boy's head was visible upside down outside her window and suddenly he disappeared, only to reappear with his feet on the edge of the window. He crouched down half inside Sophie's room, half outside with a surprised look on his face.
Sophie turned around on her bed, and stood up with her bed between her and they boy. She picked up her lamp and held it defensively towards him.
"Who are you?" Sophie asked.
The boy jumped, and almost fell down again if a sudden wind hadn't helped him regain his balance. He jumped down so that he was inside Sophie's room. He put down his staff so that it was leaning to her writing desk, without letting go of Sophie's gaze.
"You...you can see me?" He asked, a doubtful tone in his voice.
"Eh...yes, I can see you", Sophie said as if it was the most obvious thing in the world.
The boys eyes widened. "And you can...hear me to?"
"Yes, of course I can hear you. I'm not deaf you know!" Sophie said, an irritated tone in her voice.
The boy was quiet for a moment, then he suddenly laughed and jumped up on Sophie's bed, making flips in the air. He made a gesture with his hand, and suddenly, a dove made of snow flew in through the open window, circled around the boy and then exploded, spraying snow everywhere. Sophie closed her eyes to block the ice from injuring them, and when she opened her eyes, she gasped.
Snowflakes were falling down inside her room. They seemed to come from the roof, and melted away before they touched the ground, so they left no traces. Sophie looked around with an open mouth and couldn't believe her eyes. An image of a green garden full of eggs flashed through her mind. A memory of a cold hug or embrace as someone put her to sleep. She remembered a boy with white hair and piercing blue eyes.
Sophie gasped as she looked up at the boy who was now flying in midair, glancing curiously down at her. Her lamp fell out of her grip and landed on the floor with a loud thud.
"I remember you now!" She exclaimed, dragging her hand through her hair which she did when she was trying to remember something, "you were in a...in some sort of garden with eggs all around and...you brought me back home!" The boy's eyes were now as big as saucers and he smiled took a step forward.
"You're Jack Frost."
So, that's it for now, I think I'll be able to upload the next chapter soon. No promises, but I'll try my best!:p Thanks for reading! Love u3
