Dear Diary

Where do I start? It's now 2.30pm and Dean dropped me home a little while ago, sorry that's the end, I should start at the beginning...

Dean arrived last night looking handsome as always, he brought me a bottle of wine, he didn't think I was a beer kind of guy : ) He walked in and instantly stopped, I got worried then but he turned to me and smiled the biggest smile you have ever seen and asked if it was apple pie he could smell. I nodded (truthfully couldn't speak, his smile - wow) and I didn't think it was possible but the smile got bigger, he then told me apple pie was his favourite food ever (I'll have to thank Charlie for talking me out of changing pies). I just grinned back at him, I honestly was lost for words for a moment, finally I managed to get myself together and told him that pie was all that I had cooked and I hoped he wouldn't mind pizza for dinner. He said that was fine with him, I gave him the menu so he could choose and went to the kitchen to grab him a beer and a glass of wine for me.

When I came back in he was sitting on my couch, his jacket thrown on the chair and his feet up on the table, I stood still, he looked like he belonged in my home. We ordered the pizza and began the Dr. Sexy marathon. Not going to lie, the first episode I couldn't see the point of the show, but my episode three, I think I was hooked. We ate the pizza, two-thirds of the pie (Dean told me this morning he would have finished it but didn't want to seem greedy) and drank a bottle of wine and six/seven beers. By episode six, we were curled up together on the couch and starting to fall asleep. Dean said that he should call a cab as he couldn't drive after drinking so many beers. I told him that it was silly to go get a cab because he'd have to come back here for his car, so he should stay. I told him that I didn't think the couch was too uncomfortable to sleep on, as my brother had used it for a few days recently. He had a strange look on his face when I mentioned the couch.

I got him some pillows and blankets and left him to make up his bed after a couple of minutes he called out my name. I came running out thinking something was wrong, he was snuggled under the blankets, when I asked what was wrong he said that I never gave him his good night kiss. Let's just say I remedied that very quickly ; )

This morning, we decided (Dean said he owed me for the wonderful, yes wonderful, apple pie) to go out for breakfast, so we went to the diner for pancakes and bacon and we talked and talked and talked and then talked some more. He really is great, he is looking after his brother because his parents died, he works so that he can send him to college to study law, they live in the house behind the garage with Bobby (his boss and old family friend) because it's cheaper than renting somewhere and it's close to Sam's school but come September he'll be looking for somewhere else as Sam will be gone and he thinks that Bobby and Ellen (from the Roadhouse) have a 'thing' and he doesn't want to cramp their style. Is it too earlier to say he should live with me?!

Anyway we were contemplating getting lunch when his phone rang and so did mine. His was Sam saying he needed to be collected from his friend's and mine was Gabriel telling me he was on his way over and that I better be home and there better be food. We both hung up our calls at the same time and said at the same time that we had to go, Dean motioned to the waitress for the check while we were both laughing. I told him, he was only allowed pay if I could return the compliment, he paid but told me I'd have to wait till next Friday to return the compliment as he was out-of-town for most of the week at an auto show. So guess who has a date next Friday? On the condition that I make more apple pie and we watch the remaining Dr. Sexy episodes of the first season : )

But now it's back to the real world and Gabriel, who is due at any moment.
