Chapter 7 : Hide & Seek
I finally updated! Sorry for the wait, I had writers block I just need something to inspire me. I have some ideas but I dunno how to start it ._. Sigh…

Ymir was teasing Krista as always. She found it hilarious and she couldn't help herself. She didn't want to admit it but seeing her like this warms her heart.
"Ymirrr!" Krista pouted while she plead for her to stop. She tried to push her away but Ymir trapped her. She pulled her cheek not letting Krista escape.
"Y-y-ym-mir…you jerk!" Krista whined.
Ymir continued to pull her cheeks ignoring her pleas. Her cheeks are soft she thought happily. She grinned so wide it caught some of the trainees' attention. They stopped what they were doing and they watched in silence. It was rare for anyone to see her smile. It shocked them that Ymir is actually a decent human not like some other people they know. *Cough cough* (Annie)
"Ymir, those smile of your creeps me out." Sasha said jokingly when she arrived from the training ground.
Ymir let go of Krista cheeks and she glared at everyone who is staring at them. They all scrambled afraid of Ymir wrath.
"Shut the fuck up, potato girl!" She snapped. Ymir felt something poke her on the rib and she looked down to see what it was.
"Ymir! That isn't nice! Apologize now!" Krista order while she continuous poke her. She tried to look angry but failed to do so. She still kept elbowing her on the ribs. Ymir rolled her eyes and touch the blonde girl hair messing it up.
"Its fine Krista, maybe next time." Sasha said while she glared at Ymir who in return sent daggers at her.
Krista was trying to prevent them from fighting each other. She hated violence and she wish for them to stop. But they pay no attention to her and they kept on bickering. She had given up when she caught someone hidden in the bushes. They look like they were hiding from someone. But who? She ponders.
Krista moved away and she began to walk towards the shadowy figure. She wanted to get a better look at who it was.
Ymir and Sasha ended their rant and they observe Krista quietly. She slowly approaches to the suspicious person. Taking step by step she was afraid the person might flee if she frightens them.
As Krista got near, she notices a hoodie and it appeared to be a girl. Her figure gave it away so did her height. She wasn't able to tell who it was. Her face have been concealed from the shadows. She can hear her panting hard.
Alarmed and concern about the girl condition, Krista broke into a run. She wanted to help her but the girl who lay low heard her footsteps.
Annie mumbles "Fuck!" She sprinted leaving Krista in a trail of dust. There's no way in hell I'm going to get caught that easy without putting up a fight. She thought bitterly. She went to look for another spot to hide.
Krista, who is often clumsy, trip over the rock. "Ahhhh!" She screamed as she fell on the ground.
Ymir pushed Sasha aside and she quickly ran to Krista side.
"What the-?" Sasha cried out loud as she fell on her ass.
"Krista! Are you okay?" Ymir asked hiding her anger and concern. She looked at her carefully checking to make sure they weren't any bruises or cuts on her. Krista nodded answering her question.
Ymir pulled Krista up. She looked down at her smiling. She was relieved that her beloved friend was okay. Now, Ymir wasn't the type who frequently reveals her feelings but when it came to Krista she most definitely would. It allows Krista to meet a different side of Ymir.
"You are so fucking short, Krista." Ymir pointed out laughing quietly to herself.
"Ymirrrr! You are so mean!" She frowned disregarding her statement.
Ymir pulled her into a hug. Krista blushed from the closeness. This is the first time Ymir had done this. It felt nice and comfortable. She can hear her heartbeat slowing down.
"I was only kidding." She whispered softly. She stroke Krista hair slowly before letting her go.
Krista was feeling disappointed. She wanted to be in Ymir arms for a few more minutes. She sighed. "I know." Was all she can say at that moment.
Sasha was viewing the scene that unfolded in front of her. She wanted to squeal in happiness. But she didn't want to be the cause of ruining their moment. She was torn so she did the one thing she can think of. She took out the bread she had saved earlier and she shoved half of it in her mouth. She sat down as she chewed it slowly. She hopes someday she can found someone but for now all she needed is food. She ate the other half quickly and she stood up brushing herself from the dirt and the crumbs. She was about to leave when she heard Mina Caroline called her name.
Sasha turned around and she waved her hand.
"What's up?" She asked happily.
"Have you seen Annie?" Mina replied worriedly.
"Eh? No, why?"
Mina frowned. "Err, it's kinda personal and if I told you. Not only is Annie gonna kick my ass but yours too..."
They both recall Eren getting his ass kicked so many times from Annie and they shuddered at that thought.
"Uh, never mind forget what I said. Lets ask Ymir and Krista." Sasha reassured herself and Mina.
"R-right! Where can I found them?"
"Over there." Sasha said as she pointed at them. They walked in silence. I hope Ymir doesn't bite my head off she wonder for a moment. Well, here goes nothing.
"Hey guys, sorry to intrude but have you seen Annie?" Sasha asked innocently.
"No, we haven't. Can you go away now? Potato girl." Ymir replied annoyed that they couldn't be left alone.
"You! You! Gahhh! Whatever!" Sasha stomped away in anger.
"Ymir!" Krista sighed. "I think I saw Annie. I'm not sure if it was her. I couldn't see her face because she was hiding in the bushes." She finish explaining and she went after Sasha to calm her down. Krista pulled her arm and dragged Sasha back to where Ymir and Mina was standing
"Did something happen to Annie?" Ymir asked looking bored as usual.
"She wasn't feeling well this morning. I tried to take her to the infirmary but she refused to go. She took off a little while ago." Mina sighed. She remember this morning and she shook her head frustrated.
"I'll help you!" Krista announced. She clasp Mina hands and held it tightly. She nodded and responded "Thank you Krista. I really am glad your helping out."
Ymir growled loudly catching their attention. She muttered "If she's gonna help, than so will I." She looked away hiding her expression. She kicked the dirt for a minute.
"Ohhhhh! Someone jea-owww! What was that for?!" Sasha complained as she rubbed her bruised arm she received from Ymir.
"You deserve it! Idiot!"
They both scowled at each other not letting their guard down.
"Cut it out! You guys! This isn't the fucking time to play around! Annie isn't feeling well!" Krista snapped. They stopped and gawked at her. This is the first time they heard her use profanity and seeing her angry.
"S-sorry..." They apologize at the same time. They didn't want to piss her off anymore.
"Thanks Krista! Now lets go look for her!" Mina added.
"Sure, anytime! Its like we're playing hide and seek!" She said excitedly.
They started searching at the girls dormitory. Annie wasn't there. Than they went from the training ground to the dining hall. Nope, not there. The sun soon started to fade and they felt a breeze. They shivered and they hope to find Annie soon. They were about to give up when Mina remember Annie would sometimes be seen with Eren or Bertholdt. They searched for them instead.
Mina saw Bertholdt having a conversations with Reiner. She ran up to them. She asked them if they have seen Annie.
"No last time I saw her she punched me in the face." Bertholdt said embarrassed.
"Damn."
"Oh well can you guys help us look for her." Krista spoke up suddenly.
"S-sure! Anything for you!" Reiner said stunned. He smiled shyly at her.
"Oi! Then what are you standing for? Lets go chop-chop!" Ymir order. She didn't like how Reiner was smiling at her. It made her blood boiled.
"Oh yeah!"
"I think we should split up into two groups. That way it would be a lot faster and easier for us." Sasha said.
"Whoa! This is actually the first time you thought of something else other than food!" Ymir said sarcastic.
"Thanks!"
Everyone face palm themselves. Sasha was still Sasha. So was her IQ level.
"Okay, Krista and Sasha you two will be with me and Mina you'll be with Bertholdt and Reiner. Got it?" Ymir told them. They agree and they began the search party.
Ymir group went to the left and Reiner group went to the right. They started it from the scratch. They thought of where Annie usually hang out at. Still, they couldn't find her. They asked the trainees around and they still hadn't have a clue. They decided to take a short break before they called it off. Ymir group sat down.
"Ugh! Where can Annie be?" Sasha questioned. Her legs hurt and all she wanted to do was eat dinner and sleep.
"How should I know?" Ymir said stretching her back.
"We can't give up now!" Krista replied. She was exhausted but she didn't want to quit now.
"Yeah , yeah! I hear ya."
They heard something moved and they quickly snapped their mouth shut. They stood up and stared at the bush. The walked closer their curiosity took over. The bush moved and Krista grabbed Ymir arm feeling scared.
Sasha looked around searching for a weapon. She found a stick that might protect them. She waited for the bush to move and it did. She poke whatever it was that was hiding with a stick. The creature pulled the stick away from Sasha gripped.
"What the hell?" Ymir said feeling surprised. She kneel down and open the bushes. She well they finally found Annie. She was sounding asleep. She open her eyes and glower at them.
Annie got up and yawn. She had fallen asleep earlier. She woken up when she felt something poking her and she had enough of it. So she yanked the object and went back to sleep.
"Who the fuck tried to wake me up?" She asked venomous. She glared at the trios. Ymir didn't flinch but Krista and Sasha did.
"Ymir did!" Sasha said quickly. She was afraid of Annie rather than Ymir and she didn't want to feel any pain she was about to get.
"No I fucking didn't!"
"Ahahaa? Psh,it wasn't me for sure!"
"Liar!"
"Annie saw you!"
"What?!"
"She did when you open the bushes!"
"Don't drag me into your pointless argument, fucktard." Annie said coldly her face remain emotionless.
"Fucktard? Who are you calling names for?" Sasha asked dumbly.
"Figure it out, smart one."
"Heyyyy! Y-you!" Sasha stammered.
"Ha! You can't even come up with a good comeback. Can you? You just got burn by Annie." Ymir smirked.
"Shut up! Both of you! Always picking on me! You guys have no heart" Sasha snapped. They both glance at each other and glared at Sasha. Shit, I crossed the line. She looked at them and her hands flew up surrendering.
"You guys stop fighting." Krista stood between Ymir and Sasha.
Annie saw her opportunity and she escaped without wasting anytime. She began to run toward the back of the infirmary. Where she and Eren spend hours watching the stars. She knew that they wouldn't find her here. She collapsed feeling exhausted and sick at the same time. Her head was pounding and she can feel the headache worsen. Her eyes fluttered and she black out.
Annie woke up from the nightmare she was having. Her throat felt dry. She didn't know where she was and she began to panic. She sat up and she was about to leave when someone place their hands on her shoulder. He pushed her back on her bed. She tried to punch him but her body felt weak and wary. She gave up.
"Annie? Are you still sick?" Eren asked softly. He looked at her worried.
" Eren? Where am I? Last time, I remember I black out behind the infirmary." Annie replied as she looked around. Wait, she was in her room. Why was Eren in here?
"Its your room. I'm in your room because I carried you here. Mina showed me the way." He answered her when she looked confused.
"I need some cold water. Is there any?" She asked frowning.
He handle her a glass of water. Annie seeped it slowly as she avoid looking at Eren. She still felt guilty about what she did to Bertholdt. She wasn't use to people looking out for her.
"How did you found me? And how did you know I wasn't feeling well?" She asked breaking the awkward silence.
"Well I sorta figure it out and I run into Ymir, Krista and Sasha." He said laughing at the memory.
"Of course...Tell me about it another time. When I'm feeling better." She rolled eyes.
"I will but first let me take you to the infirmary."
"Wh-haa...?" Annie couldn't believe what she was hearing. She wasn't exactly afraid of the place but thinking about getting a shot was enough to scare her. Her faced turned pale and she didn't want Eren to know about her 'phobia'.
"Annie, you looked really pale. Maybe I should get the Doctor instead." Eren noticed her face wasn't showing any color. He didn't know what was wrong with her. He needed to get her some medication. He stood up ready to retrieve help.
Annie grabbed his shirt. She didn't want to go or see anything that had to deal with needles. He stared at her confused and he saw fear in Annie eyes. He hugged her tightly not wanting to let go of her.
"I won't let them hurt you..." He whispered.
"I-I its not them..." She gulped. "I'm scared of a tiny object."
"Huh?"
Annie pushed Eren away from her. She didn't want him to get sick. She wonder if she should tell him. Nah, I'm sure he won't figure it out.
"Your gonna catch a fever." She said changing the subject.
"Pshhh, I heal fast." He grinned.
"Thats not what I meant."
"Whatever." Eren took off his shirt and Annie looked at him in disbelief.
"What are you doing?"
"Taking my shirt off?" He said innocently.
"I can see that. But why?"
"Mikasa once told me whenever someone is sick and the person you like. They would feel better if their bodies are right next to each other. So if I pressed my body to yours. Your temperature should go down." Eren explained.
"Why do I have a feeling that you and Mikasa had done this once?"
"Because you're jealous and no we didn't. I kicked her out of my room. She tried but there's no fucking way I would allow that."
"...I'm not jealous.." Annie scoffed.
"Scoot over, Annie." He ignored her last comment. But Annie refused to move. Her face turned scarlet as she stared at Eren naked chest. She was glad he had common sense and left his pant on.
Eren place his hand on her forehead. Her fever had spiked up. He looked at her worriedly. He kissed her where he removed his hand.
"Eren, I'm still sick..." She mumbled. Her face still flushed. She can smell the woods he spent his time today. She didn't know if she can control herself around Eren now. They were alone and no one can stop them if things heats up. She bit her lip to distract herself.
"What? Annie I-I um I'm not gonna ha-ave..you know what I mean!" He stuttered. His face turned red when he tried to say it out loud. He wasn't the type of guy who rushed into a relationship. He wanted to take things slow. She is his first girlfriend. He didn't know much about it but Annie knew and she would help him if he did anything wrong. She would correct him if he made a mistake.
"Sex?" Annie assumed.
"Yeah-h. Beside I told you , your my first." Eren said shyly.
"Yeah, I remember." She moved over allowing Eren to slide in next to her.
"But I'm not your first am I?" His voice tremble in fear. He remember what Reiner told him. He wonder if it was the right time to ask her about Bertholdt. But she was still sick and he didn't want to make her feel worse.
"I-..." Annie was about to answer him but Eren stopped her when he place his index finger to her lip.
"You don't have to tell me now. You can tell me when your ready." He said softly.
"Is it really okay?" She asked feeling relieve. He nodded and he stared deeply into her eyes.
Crystal eyes met emerald eyes. Their eyes locked onto each other. Time stopped for them. He lean over to capture her lip. She kissed back ignorning the pain she had receive from the fight the other day. They kissed slowly catching every moment of their time.
Annie pushed him down underneath her without breaking their moment. She caressed his face. He pulled her closer and removed her elastic. He ran through her blonde hair. She shivered when he kept on running her hair softly.
Eren pulled back catching his breathe. Annie felt disappointed but she didn't want to pressure him. She lay next to him when he place his neck next to hers. She heard him snore. She soon fell asleep at the rhythm of his breathing.

I hope you enjoy this chapter! Especially since I added a fluff scene for Ymir x Krista. The next chapter should be in the middle of the month or maybe sooner. I don't know them writers block be killing me.
