I know a lot of people didn't like the last chapter, but I'm not changing it! I think Sirius and Remus reacted in a way that their characters should have. They do care for Harry. They know Harry will be happier with his family around him and so will his family so that's why they're pushing him towards him. Also somebody said that people would have told the someone that the Potters were alive, but no they wouldn't have. Lily and James fled the Wizarding world and went to the muggle world where nobody knew them or anyone they knew! As for the blood ward flaw, that will be explained in the coming chapters. There's nothing about wills in this too. Lily and James never made a will!

Harry had gotten next to no sleep that night. The only sleep he did have was full of nightmares. Nightmares of the night his parents had 'died'. He didn't understand anything anymore. The confusion, anger and sadness had kept him up all night.

Finally it was morning. Harry rolled over onto his stomach, before getting up. Just as he finished getting dressed, Ron came into the room. "Oh good, you're up. Mum's got breakfast ready for you downstairs," he said. Harry nodded his head and walked towards the door, following Ron downstairs. Ron stared at him. "No offence or anything mate, but you look like death," Harry sighed. He knew he looked terrible and exhausted, but he didn't really care. He had other things on his mind.

"I know. I got no sleep," he shrugged. Ron didn't reply and they entered the kitchen in silence.

"Morning," said Ginny and Hermione. Mrs Weasley turned around and put out Harry's food for him.

"Harry dear," said Mrs Weasley. She seemed to be acting very careful around Harry. "Dumbledore is coming over in a short while with Your- I mean Lily and James," she continued very quickly and tactfully. Suddenly, Harry's stomach did a very violent backflip and he wished he hadn't ate those two sausages. Harry pushed his plate away from him.

"Sorry, Mrs Weasley but I'm not very hungry," he said, feeling quite guilty. Mrs Weasley didn't seem to mind though. In fact, she seemed to understand what Hary was going through.

"Not to worry, Harry. It's only natural you're feeling a bit nervous," she said, sending Harry a comforting smile.

A few minutes later Harry went outside with Ginny. They walked hand in hand over to the lake. "Are you okay?" asked Ginny quietly. Harry breathed deeply.

"Not really. I don't want to see them Gin!" he said, sadly. Ginny looked at Harry sympathetically.

"Maybe not right now, but they are your parents and it doesn't matter how angry you are at them or what they did to you. Your never going to be able to stop thinking or caring about them or what they think. If you don't sort it out now and try to have a family you'll regret it for the rest of your life!" Harry looked down as she said this. He knew she was right. Of course she was. How could he completely forget about them?

Harry had always wanted his family. He had always imagined what it would be like to have lots of brothers and sisters like Ginny and Ron. He thought it would be great to have a family as big as the Weasleys. To grow up with loads of people around you would be great, wouldn't it? A loving family, a cozy house and a life in the magical world. But when Harry pictured all this, he never imagined it would happen like this. He imagined that all the stuff with Voldemort as a baby wouldn't have happened and he would just be a normal kid and people would like him for him and not because of what happened a long time ago. More importantly, he never imagined that his parents were alive his whole life and that they had basically abandoned him as a baby.

"It's hard," he finally said to Ginny. Ginny pulled him in for a hug.

"I know," she said. But she didn't know. She could never know what Harry was going through.

A little while later Harry was back inside the Burrow playing chess with Ron and waiting nervously for Dumbledore and Lily and James to arrive. "Harry! Are you even trying?" asked Ron. Harry snapped out of his trance and turned to look at Ron. He gave him an apologetic look.

"Oh, yeah, sorry mate. I must have gotten lost in my thoughts," he answered. Ron sighed and gave Hermione a look. She just bit her lip. "Stop it!" Harry snapped. He had had enough of all of their little 'looks'.

"What?" asked Hermione, a little bit scared of the rage in Harry's eyes.

"Giving each other those little looks every time I say something and looking at me like I'm some poor little kid!" he roared. Ginny stood up to calm Harry down.

"Relax, Harry. It's fine, they're just worried about you!" she soothed. Harry sat back down in his seat and mumbled a quick 'sorry'.

"It's all right. We know you're upset. We're just worried about you. We don't like seeing you upset, you know? You're our best friend!" said Hermione.

"We don't mean to make you angry," continued Ron. Harry sighed and suddenly felt really guilty.

"I know you don't and I'm sorry I'm just..." He trailed off, unable to explain even to himself how he was feeling.

"Ron, Ginny, Hermione!" called Mrs Weasley from the next room. "Why don't you three go outside or something?" she shouted. Harry knew that Dumbledore and Lily and James must be on their way. Mrs Weasley was just trying to get the others out of the way so Harry could some private time to talk.

Harry wasn't sure what he was going to say. He had promised himself that he wasn't going to get angry and explode at them. He wanted today to go by with a big commotion. He wanted to just get it over and done with and have them leave. Harry wasn't sure if he was going to be able to stay calm though. He felt a lot of things every time their names were mentioned. How was he going to feel when he saw them?

Suddenly the fire went up in bright green flames and out stepped Albus Dumbledore. A second Later he followed by James Potter and then Lily Potter. Mrs Weasley came into the room and greeted them. She offered them a cup of tea, but Lily and James politely declined her offer. Dumbledore however accepted. "It'll give you three some time to talk," he said before following Mrs Weasley into the kitchen.

Through the entire time all this was happening, Harry had remained absolutely silent. He hadn't even moved. Harry was trying his best to keep calm, but every time he looked at the faces of his two previously presumed dead but now proven alive parents he felt pangs of anger, sadness and betrayal. There was a long silence before James decided to break it. "Harry. How are you?" he said. Harry couldn't believe this was how his father greeted him. The last time they had saw each other was when they were just breaking the news of them being alive to him. That was the time he had exploded at them, screaming and shouting and now his father just greeted him with a 'Hello and how do you do'? That just wasn't good enough.

"Is that all you can say? The first seem you've properly seen me in fifteen years and all you can say is 'How are you'?" he said, trying not to let the anger show in his voice. Lily looked at James desperately, then back to Harry.

"I know, Harry. None of this is good enough, but what else do you want us to do? I don't know what to do anymore. I'm sorry for what happened. We should've stayed, I know we should've stayed, but we just couldn't bear it!" she said.

James' P.O.V

I stared at him. My son. He was standing right in front of me. He wasn't screaming in my face and yet I could still feel the anger in him. I could feel it as he stared into me with furious eyes. I could see the hurt and betrayal in his eyes too. Hidden behind the anger, but brightly showing and I couldn't bear it. I couldn't bear knowing that my son felt abandoned because of us!

Lily looked at me desperately, then back to Harry. "I know, Harry. None of this is good enough, but what else do you want us to do? I don't know what to do anymore. I'm sorry for what happened. We should've stayed, I know we should've stayed, but we just couldn't bear it!" she said. Harry stared at her, face blank. I wanted to hug him and tell him that I was sorry and that I've missed him for the past fifteen years, but I couldn't.

"How do you think I felt?" he said, letting the hurt show in his voice and suddenly I felt like the devil. I know it wasn't completely our fault, but we could've stayed and checked! We didn't, though, and because of that our son grew up abandoned, lonely, sad, abused and neglected.

Normal P.O.V

"How do you think I felt?" Harry said, letting the hurt show in his voice. He didn't want to hide his feelings any more. "I grew up without you! I grew up alone and neglected at the Dursleys. I lived in a cupboard for Merlin's sake! Then when I went to Hogwarts I was happy. I was happy! Then you came back and suddenly you expect me to just welcome you with open arms? It's not that easy! I've been an orphan for the last fifteen years. It isn't easy to just forgive someone after all that!" he said, rubbing at his eyes to stop himself from crying.

Harry looked at James, who just stared at him with sad, guilty eyes and then at Lily. Lily, who's eyes were like his. They weren't like his because of the colour. They were like his in the way that they didn't shine. Instead, they were dark and sad. Harry couldn't help, but sympathise with his parents for a moment. They had thought their first born was dead for years, after all. They were so upset that they couldn't be anywhere that reminded them of him.

Just as quickly as it had come, however, Harry's sympathy disappeared and was replaced instead by his own hurt. "I know, Harry. I don't expect you to just let us back into your life, but please, please just try! We love you and we have always loved you. We left because we couldn't be happy in the wizarding world anymore. The magic that was in our lives was you and with that what could we do in the Wizarding World? We never would have left if we knew you were alive, you know?" said James, a few tears sliding down his face.

"We know you won't forgive us right away and you probably won't ever forgive us, but can you not just try and accept us and be part of our family?" cried Lily, desperately. She didn't know what to say anymore. She didn't how to make things all right or how to make it up to Harry.

"I.." but Harry found that he couldn't finish the sentence. He couldn't answer because he didn't know how to answer. He put his head in his hands.

"Don't worry. We don't need an answer yet, Harry. When you're ready we'll be waiting for you," said James, holding his wife close. "Just please don't cut us out of your life. We want to get to know you. We want Daniel and Alex to get to know you. We want you to get to know us and your brother and sister!" said James, encouragingly.

"Alex and Daniel? Is that their names?" asked Harry. Lily nodded. James took out his wallet and gave it to Harry. Harry opened it and saw three pictures. One of them was of a girl with long, shiny black hair and emerald green eyes. The other was of a boy with red hair and hazel eyes. The girls looked a lot like her father with a little bit of Lily mixed in too, while the boy was almost pure Lily with a hint of James. Harry smiled and looked at the third photo. It was one of him as a baby, flying on a small toy broomstick hovering only inches off of the floor and giggling wildly.

"Alex looks a lot like her big brother, Harry," said Lily. "While Daniel is basically me," she laughed. Harry smiled.

"They look nothing like each other, even for fraternal twins," said Harry. James laughed.

"I know. Their personalities are even more different," he said. Lily smiled, fondly. Just then, Dumbledore entered the room.

"It's nice to see you getting along, but we really must go Lily and James," he said, smiling wildly. Harry looked up at his parents. He handed the wallet back to James and stood up.

"Well, uh, bye," he said, awkwardly. Lily smiled and so did James.

"Bye," they said. Harry watched them disappear one by one through he fireplace.

"How are you doing?" asked Mrs Weasley. Harry, surprisingly, was doing ok.

"I'm all right Mrs Weasley. It was horrible at the start but then it wasn't so bad," he said, half smiling. Mrs Wealsey grinned at him.

"That's good," she said.

A few minutes later Ron, Hermione and Ginny came back inside. They looked at Harry cautiously. Harry laughed. "It's ok. I'm not going to scream at you," he said.

"We didn't think you were!" insisted Hermione. Harry rolled his eyes.

"Yes you did. But I'm ok, really. It wasn't so bad. It was kind of ok. At the end. I haven't forgiven them and I'm still angry and upset, but I suppose I'm getting there," he replied. The others gave him a relieved look.

"See, I told you that you would regret not seeing them," said Ginny giving Harry a cocky grin. Harry laughed and threw up his hands in defeat.

"Okay, okay you were right!" he said.

Oh my god, I haven't updated in ages! I am so so sorry! I've just been hanging out with my friends at the weekend and I don't have time during the week to write much! I get really busy around Christmas like veryone else too. Recently I've been busy with practising for the school play/variety show. I have to know a thirteen verse poem of by heart and I have to elarn this dance and like a billion songs too so I'm soo sorry. This chapter was quite hard to right too because I wanted to have a family moment in here without having Harry fully forgive and accept them. It's too soon for Harry to just forget everything and be happy and let them back into his life. He can't ever forget everything and it's going to take some time to accept his family again.

I decided to describe Alex as 3/5 James and 2/5 Lily because I always picture Ginny as a younger Lily so I really don't want to have Alex looking exactly like her mother, therefore like Ginny.

I tried to make the chapter longer than usual. It's two and a half thousand words so I hope you enjoy it. It took ages to write! Please review and once again I apologise for the long wait!
